17/17.1

A lovely, big, quality riding club type with a super temperament. Safe, sensible and incredibly straightforward.

Hunted in Ireland and has been cubbing with us on several occasions.

Happily pops rails, logs and small hedges, always willing and committed to a fence. Xc schools sweetly and is good with rustic fences.

Equally lovely away from the hunting field. A steady, uncomplicated ride in the arena, happily pops a showjump and is a pleasure to hack. Would make a fabulous all round riding club horse or the perfect husband’s hunter/hack.

Only available as he isn’t quite the big-country horse required for our job.

Recent clean vet certificate.

COMANDER DU ROUET

Quality young gelding with an exciting future in eventing or showjumping

2024-born gelding | Currently standing at 16.3hh | By Comander, by Chacco-Blue | Dam by Balou du Rouet

A super young gelding with an outstanding sport-horse pedigree and an exciting future ahead of him.

Comander Du Rouet is bred for performance, being by the approved stallion Comander, sire of Chacco-Blue, and out of Destin du Rouet LS, by the influential Balou du Rouet. His pedigree combines some highly regarded jumping bloodlines, making him an exciting prospect for someone looking to produce a quality young horse for the future.

Currently standing at approximately 16.3hh, he has some growing and plenty of maturing still to do. He is likely to develop into an iron grey, although his eventual colour remains to be confirmed.

He has been in the same home since he was 12 months old and has been well handled throughout. He has established groundwork and excellent manners, providing a good foundation for his future education.

With his breeding, size and potential, Comander would make a super prospect for someone looking to produce their own event horse or showjumper.

Sadly offered for sale only because his owner is going away to university, meaning there is no longer a suitable job for him. This is a genuine sale, and we would love to find him a knowledgeable home where he can continue to develop and fulfil his potential.

A fantastic opportunity to acquire a well-bred young gelding with an exciting future ahead of him.

• Amazing temperament , Allrounder, Super XC
• Hilly is a striking, outstanding horse and always tries his best for his rider.
• He has competed in many varied competitions. From dressage to arena eventing

Before we took on the role of owning Hilly, he was a race horse competing in hurdles for the majority of his career and ending his career in point to point. The reason he ended was due to no longer enjoying racing. After racing he did hunting and lots of XC

We bought Hilly in April 2023, at the time he had been off the track for 6 months. Hilly has been the best horse I have owned. He is kind, elegant and so full of love. He cares and loves other horses. He has never kicked out at people or even horses and does not bite or has ever been aggressive. He will try his best at everything and will give you his all.

Some of his best specialties is his boldness for XC. He is very willing to jump anything and will lead you all the way in a XC course. At XC he has competed at 1 metre but is capable of jumping a lot higher, the reason why would be done to my confidence, nothing is holding Hilly back from jumping higher. His boldness applies to SJ as well as he would jump anything in that course with no hesitation at all. For SJ he has competed at 1 metre as well but I have jumped him higher at home around 1.20m. I would admit that his SJ could do with a bit more work but he can still give you a clear round and a first place for you. He is beautiful at dressage and will present a captivating test for the judges. He gets lots of compliments!!

Hacking wise he is fantastic. He could be anyway in a group of horse in a hack and can easily hack alone. In an open field he is controlled and will always listen to you. I must say if you let him go for a gallop he will definitely show you some speed but when you need to stop, he will definitely respect your orders and slow down.

In the field, he is currently with a herd of horses and is very gentle and kind towards other horses, you could put him in a field with another new horse and he wouldn’t be mean or aggressive at all. To disclose, he doesn’t like to be separate from a group of horses for a long period time and can become anxious if so.

He is perfect when being groomed, shod, bathed, clipped, rugged, fly sprayed and when he is getting his injections done. He is fantastic when getting his teeth done as well and to load the horse box, sometimes he can be a bit stubborn but that’s only if he hasn’t been out in the horse box for a while. He has never faced an injury or illness while being with us. The only thing he had were sarcoids when we first bought him but they were quickly removed and have never come back ever since or caused any problems.

Reason for him being is sold is due to time management. Right now I have entered my first year of A-levels and have realised that Hilly no longer receives my full attention which he deserves so to continue to purse my academic dreams and commitments I must unfortunately sell him to some one who can give him their full attention and love which he deserves.

Hilly can be very forward going sometimes and needs a rider who is determined, confident, strong and experienced for him to be the best and fulfill his full potential. Hilly could easily adapt to any style of riding. All we want is for him to go to a loving and caring home where he will be treated the best at. Hilly is my heart horse and I only want what’s best for him. We care about him so dearly and this was not an easy decision but it must be done so the only thing we could ask is for him to go to the best possible home.

Fulwood Flamboyant (aka Tilly). Readvertised due to a time-waster.

An Exceptional All-Rounder of Rare Quality, Proven Experience, and Absolute Integrity is a superb example of a well-bred Irish Draught x Thoroughbred mare (King of Diamonds lineage), standing at 16.1hh and offering the kind of quality, temperament, and education that is increasingly difficult to find. This mare is ready to transition a serious young rider from ponies to horses, winning constantly along the way!"

At 16 years old, she is in her prime, a polished, experienced horse who has been thoughtfully and patiently produced, never overfaced or overworked. She represents the finished article: a genuine, confidence-giving partner with the ability to excel across disciplines.

With an established competition record including EGB, BSJA, and BRC, Tilly has proven herself time and again. She is a consistent performer, regularly finishing in the ribbons, comfortably jumping 90cm–1m, with bold, intelligent cross-country ability and correct, expressive flatwork established to Novice level, including lateral work and extensions.

What truly sets Tilly apart is her temperament. She is exceptionally genuine, a mare who instils confidence and allows her rider to perform at their best. She is straightforward, balanced, and beautifully rideable, with a naturally rhythmical canter and an instinctive ability to meet a fence correctly. She never stops, runs out, or shys. She is never strong, yet offers presence, power, and responsiveness when asked.

She is not a horse for a Novice rider as she is well schooled, however, she is kind to any rider and will look after a young person going onto horses or a mature rider getting back into horses.

She is equally exemplary in her handling. Impeccably mannered, with no vices whatsoever and no digestive issues. She is easy in every respect to catch, handle, travel, hack, and manage. She hacks alone or in company with complete reliability and remains composed in all environments. She is unflappable, level-headed, and entirely trustworthy.

Tilly has lived with me since she was six months old and has been produced with care, knowledge, and respect. Horses of this calibre, safe, sane, educated, and genuinely kind, are the result of years of investment, consistency, and horsemanship.

She would be ideally suited to a discerning amateur, a riding club competitor, or a mother/daughter partnership seeking a safe yet capable horse who can deliver results while offering complete peace of mind.

This is an extremely reluctant sale due to my ongoing cancer treatment, and as such, her future home is of the utmost importance and is more important than the price. I owe it to her to find yhe right forever home.

I have two others, and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to keep them fit, especially with the winter a few months away, therefore, she now needs to go to someone who can get the joy and success out of her. I am now looking for a genuine quick sale due to further up coming cancer treatment, not for any fault of hers.

She deserves a knowledgeable, appreciative owner and a kind, private environment with equine companionship.

Tilly is a complete, ready-made partner for someone who understands true quality; she represents exceptional value.

She can be viewed and ridden on the flat, as well as over show jumps and XC fences, by appointment at the local Equestrian Centre.

However, serious enquiries only. No more time wasters, please.

Sunhill De Revel (Cherry)

Cherry is a lovely, fun, attractive, 8yr, 16.1h (165cm) bay mare with great breeding

Sire: Carrick Quidam De Revel [ISH]
Dam: Ownagarry Rose [TB]

Cherry rides nicely on the flat and has three balanced paces, is brave sj and XC.

In a snaffle for everything and ridden by a 17 year old. Has been competing El up to 1m mainly and a few unaffiliated 1.10 with the previous owner, an amateur rider.

Has numerous double clears to date. Done pony club activities and countless one day events always getting 30-33 in dressage and double clears. Came 4th in SJ and XC in tattersall’s eventing championships.

She’ll always try her best and save you on any stride.

Easy to do on the ground, shoe, load, turns out with other horses, hacks alone or in company, up to date with all her vaccines etc. A super fun mare with a great attitude not marish, and plenty of scope. Would suit someone moving onto horses from ponies.

Not a novice ride but no nastiness. She has much more to give and is more than capable to move up the levels. Loves to be out competing or jumping.

Very sad reluctant sale due to school commitments. 5 star home is essential. Once in a lifetime horse and very hard to come by. Plenty of videos and pictures available.

🌟 Nirvana (Narla) – 15.3hh, 7yo Bay Mare 🌟

Super Quality TB x Hanoverian | Athletic Paces | Cross-Country & Showjumping Schooling Done

Narla is a stunning 15.3hh, 7-year-old bay mare combining quality, athleticism, and a truly kind, honest temperament. Bred with performance in mind (by a Medoc lines / Grand Prix dressage grandsire), she has inherited wonderful natural movement, light paces, and an athletic, scopey jump.

🐴 Ridden & Education

Jumping & XC: Has been out to arena hires and cross-country schooling, proving honest, bold, and keen to learn. Shows plenty of scope over fences and genuine athletic potential.

Flatwork: Balanced, straight, and willing. Works nicely in an outline with expressive, uphill movement that judges will love.

Hacking: Hacks happily, especially in company, through open country, woodland, and in road traffic.

Temperament: Incredibly kind and forgiving—she was ridden safely by a 14-year-old making the transition off ponies, and even taken for a spin by an adult rider returning to the saddle after 16+ years off!

🧰 Ground Manners & Handling

Polite, gentle, and respectful around the yard.

Easy and straightforward to catch, lead, groom, and handle daily.

A sweetheart to have in the stable.

🎯 Suitability & Reason for Sale

Narla is still young/green in her education and naturally looks to her rider for direction and reassurance. For this reason, she is not suitable for a nervous, novice, or unbalanced rider. She will thrive best with a confident, competent amateur, competent teenager, or professional who wants a rewarding, talented project to produce up the grades.

Purchased for my 14-year-old daughter stepping up from ponies; however, we have realised my daughter simply needs a completely established 'schoolmaster' type at this stage. This is a very honest, heartbreaking sale through no fault of Narla’s own—she is an absolute pleasure to have on the yard and deserves the very best home.

Three very good paces/ loads of scope/ genuine character/ heaps of potential

Although he is a cob he is incredibly sporty and has plenty of scope! He has three very smart, eye catching paces including a super smart, active trot and an incredibly balanced canter. He is very supple and responsive to ride and has a lovely mouth, is super easy to ride in an outline.

Hector is the most lovely horse to have around who has an excellent attitude to work which will help him excel in his future.

He is so genuine, brave, and bold that he will jump anything proving this at arena hires and out XC schooling.

He has been backed and produced professionally, everything has been done slowly and correctly. Hector has the best attitude to being out and about, proving his incredible manners out cubbing in which he was impeccably behaved leaving everyone with no trouble, so an extremely independent chap.

He really is excellent to do in all ways, and a pleasure to have around. Easy to load, good for the farrier, hacks alone and in company, and perfect in the heaviest of traffic.

Hector is for sale due to a change of circumstances. He is so special and will therefore only go to the very best of homes.

Based in Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
