Her sire Be Sure sired by Benicio x Scuderia is a stallion with 3 superior gaits; he was named premium stallion at the 2020 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing and sold at auction to Helgstrand and his co-owners for 380,000 euro. In 2023 he was selected for and competed at the World Young Dressage Horse Championships for Germany with scores over 83% and has a very bright future.

His dam is Dutch bred, with a super quick hind leg and with an international record at PSG over 73%. For Schufro was born in June 2024 and has been a delight to have around. He has three correct paces and an excellent temperament. He is currently chestnut but will turn grey and is sure to be extremely eye catching. I expect him to mature around 15.2-15.3hh. He has the loveliest personality and is a very kind boy.

He is a son of the Grand Prix and licensing champion stallion For Romance. Having been pronounced Champion Stallion of his licensing in 2011, For Romance did not disappoint during his 30-day test in Schlieckau, passing with super scores. He received a 9.25 for his trot and rideability, a 9.0 for his canter and an 8.88 for character. For Romance has made his mark in the breeding world and has produced numerous foal champions, licensed stallions and top sport horses.

For Schufro's dam, Razzle Dazzle, is daughter of the elite mare Ferna who herself is full sister to the prolific stallion and Olympic medalist Don Schufro. Razzle Dazzle has two maternal sisters competing at international Grand Prix. Her sister Ferrera competed at the World Equestrian Games and another sister, Finnlanderin, competed at the Paris Olympic Games for Canada. Turtle is an absolutely one in a million 3yo! The ultimate allrounder in the making with the kind of temperament everyone is looking for. Turtle is bred to have all the athletic potential you need to compete in any discipline you want but without the quirks and endless maintenance.

Currently standing 15.1hh to mature approx 15.3hh. A very attractive, correct young horse with good limbs and feet and enough bone to give him substance without being heavy or cobby. Plus the cutest face! Turtle is a super mover, effortlessly engaged with naturally uphill paces. He covers the ground well and catches the eye. Has loose jumped 3 times including fillers showing a bold, clever attitude with plenty of scope and potential to go on but has intentionally not been overjumped or overfaced. Turtle has seen traffic and farm equipment and is generally bold in nature when dealing with new things.

Turtle has the most fantastic temperament. He is friendly, curious, kind and loves being played with. Turtle just wants to be involved!
