I spent the summer lightly hacking her & then in November turned her away from riding but I have continued to long rein & lunge a couple times a week just to keep her ticking over through winter (when the weather allows) once the weather improves & she’s ridden again her price will go up as her education progresses.
She is a quick leaner & with a good willing attitude to work.

I have decided I want something older that I can do more with now (2 kids & not enough time)

She has travelled in a trailer with the breeder a couple of times no problem & has been in my 7.5 lorry when I bought her.

The sire of this magnificent colt needs no introduction after wowing the UK circuit as a young horse before being seen in recent years under the saddle of former world number 1 Harrie Smolders at some of the worlds most prolific shows. Himself being sired by the world renowned and Olympic Stallion, Emerald who not only has far too many successes to list, but is a well renowned sire of horses at the highest level in sport. Escape Z is out of the same mother ‘promesse’ as the infamous ‘Untouchable 27’

The dam herself is sired by Conor Swail’s former ride ‘Grand Cru VD Vijf Eiken’, now a Canadian team horse at the highest level. The 3rd mother ‘Joyeuse vd Meir’ is a Primo des Bruyere’s daughter, a sire who made history as father of he Olympic champion Jus de Pommes..

Reggie combines absolutely outstanding movement which he has inherited from his dam with outstanding bone which he has inherited from his sire. Both sire and dam have incredible jumping ability and my goal when I bred him was to breed a top class horse worker for myself for the future and I have bred exactly that.
Unfortunately my attentions have been redirected towards the native ponies and therefore I’m not going to get to enjoy him myself, but hope to find somebody who will.

Away from showing, he will do well in any competitive sphere. His dam could turn her hand to anything…could be ridden/hacked by a 12yo child, then take my mother to the beach, then go showjumping 1.10+ with me prior to a freak accident which unfortunately resulted in her early retirement to stud.

He was a late foal (July) so I haven’t begun backing him yet as I feel he still needs more time to mature. He has however been mouthed, had tack on and walked around on the lunge a couple of times, all of which he has taken in his stride.

Happy living in or out, he’s well handled, good to load and travel, good with farrier, clippers, up to date with vaccs and is booked in to have his teeth done for the first time.

Glenbeigh Stud is a small, family-run stud focused on breeding and producing quality sport horses.
