Lleylandii’s special Finley

2024 liver chestnut gelding

Out of class 1 Irish draught mare

By showjumping stallion Just Special

Born April of 2024

Passported, vaccinated, wormed, good with farrier, loads well.

Finley is a quality, unspoilt youngster. He is well handled and trots up in a bridle well. A lovely temperament . Can be left stood in on his own with no drama. He’s spent last winter turned out with 2 others and wintered well. This summer I have been getting him ready to show as a 3yo and he is ready for this next year . At just 2yo he starts at 16’2hh so will make for huge scopey horse as well still having the agility to compete in the likes of eventing or dressage .

Finley was bred by myself with the intention of him being my next horse however circumstances mean I think it’s best for him to find a new person . He has been raised on a busy farm and has no bother with all kinds of traffic. He will definitely be a horse for the future.

I am not in a huge rush to sell him and knowing what a horse he will be he is prices accordingly.

Fozzie Bear is a quality young horse, ready to continue his ridden education. He is very kind natured and has been such a joy to work with.

Fozzie was bought from Ireland in May; we focused on his groundwork for 3 months and he is now backed and riding away. He is schooling nicely in the arena and is confidently hacking alone or in company. Happy to trot and canter sensibly in the stubble (video available).

Fozzie has excellent sports pony bloodlines, including Moy Jonny’s Pride, Westonhouse Straboe Bobby, and Ard Archer. His free jump (video available), bloodlines and willing attitude suggest that Fozzie has a promising future as a competition/pony club/hunting pony.

He is very easygoing on the yard, and is also super easy to catch as he walks right over to you to say hello. He also self-loads into a trailer the second he spies the haynet! Very sensible with other horses, he lives out full time with our herd of 4 geldings, but is equally content to be stood in a stable.

Priced for a quick sale. Please message/ WhatsApp me on 07709 708619 as I have lots of videos of him working in stubble fields, free jumping etc.

Experienced owners only please as he is freshly backed.

16.1 hands, 2022 ISH, by the talented Grand Marnier (Trak) with Clover Hill lines on the Dam side.

Same home since a yearling. All basic handling done, very much ready to crack on and start his education imminently.

Up to date with vaccinations, worming, teeth and farrier. Clean limbed and moves nicely.

He really is the nicest natured chap with a great personality. No bother to have around, has spent his winters in a crew yard and summers out with a variety of different horses, currently left alone daily whilst my other horse is worked, with absolutely no bother.

Offered for sale as a quality blank canvas, ready for somebody who has the times and funds, to turn him into something special.

Loving home sought for this great chap, with I’m sure a bright future ahead, in many different spheres.

• Unspoilt blank canvas – make approx. 15.2hh
• Exceptional value due to small hernia

Very attractive 2-year-old homebred bay filly, TB × Welsh, by Kings Bay (TB), by Karinga Bay, out of our Welsh D × Cleveland Bay mare.

A really stunning filly with a lovely sweet nature, plenty of quality and all the makings of a super future riding horse. Expected to make approximately 15.2hh.

She has been lightly handled, giving someone the opportunity to start her education from scratch and produce her exactly as they wish.

Her siblings have gone on to make brilliant all-rounders, hunters, eventers and show horses, so she comes from a family we know well and that has consistently produced useful, versatile riding horses.

She does have a small umbilical hernia, which is reflected very significantly in her price. It is considered unlikely to affect her as a riding horse and could be surgically repaired if desired. However, because of this, she would not be recommended as a future broodmare.

This represents an absolute bargain for the right person who is looking for a beautiful, quality young horse to produce without the usual price tag.

Homebred, with her full history known from birth.

A genuinely lovely filly who deserves a great home and the chance to fulfil her potential.

Maple is a 2025 stunning example of a traditional Irish Draught to mature 16/16.1hds with exceptional breeding on both sides and of course a full green book and a beautiful peroxide blonde mane coming through!

Maple lived in all winter (with daily sand paddock playtime), handled daily, built like a table so lives on haylage - no feeding up required! Now out at grass 24/7.

A confident young lady with a real 'look at me' presence (and occasionally fiery attitude) but well behaved!

Will be a cracker in the showring or an asset to any future breeding scheme. Maple has full Class 1 breeding so eligible for future Class 1 grading/inspection.

Based in County Wexford, Ireland, any inspection welcomed. Call or whatsapp for further photos/videos.
