Godington Balenciaga has been blessed by both her parents.

From her sire EH Herzensdieb (GrPr dressage) she has inherited fantastic paces with a very free shoulder and active hind leg.

From her fantastic mother, 3* eventer PM G Barcelona (Elite G Hannibal/Graciano) she has received a brilliant and effortless natural and accurate jumping style and wonderful temperament.

This young mare has everything going for her.

Backed as a 4yo in 2019 and sadly stalled in her competition development during 2020 due to COVID.; Now back on track just delayed by a year. She has now won at both Novice and Elementary dressage with over 70%.; She has also been placed 2nd in an unaffiliated ODE at 90cm. Qualified for the Cotswold Cup and Horse Events championships at 80 & 90cm last year.

Flame is an absolute dream horse with a heart of gold. You absolutely will not find a better horse for a small lady amateur or teen.

I bought Flame as an unbacked three year old and have slowly and carefully brought him on, taking him on countless adventures and allowing him to grow and mature at his own pace. He’s an unregistered Spanish horse so not technically PRE but he has fabulous morphology and movement and is an exemplary type with perfect hooves.

The reason for needing to rehome Flame is that we are moving our family to Texas next year for my husband’s business and in the midst of this, we’ve been given notice on our property, meaning I’m having to close my business. The logistical and financial challenges we face because of this have led me to look for options for my horses. I was never planning to sell Flame, he’s not the kind of horse that gets sold, he truly is one in a billion.

Because of the uncertainty of our situation, I’d consider either selling or leasing him to the best possible person and situation. His future and happiness is the most important thing.

If I were to lease him it would be for 2-5 years and my intention would be to import him to America once we’re settled. Hence I’d be open to a lease situation with someone who couldn’t commit to a horse long term but would be in a position to add to his training in that time and look after him as their own. For example a serious young rider who wanted a horse for a couple of years before going to university would be perfect. I wouldn’t lease him to anyone who would want him forever but couldn’t afford to buy him as this wouldn’t be fair.

The price I would ask to lease would be £250 per month. The lessee would be responsible for all care.

If it turns out that the best person for him is only interested in buying him, I would be equally open to this. His happiness is priority.

With regards to his price, he is advertised for a lot less than he would otherwise be worth as he does have a heart murmur and arrhythmia, this has been fully investigated and although the heart specialist couldn’t give a conclusive diagnosis, they said it’s unlikely to ever affect him because he’s never had any clinical signs. Ie. We only know he has it from listening to his heart, he’s never shown any signs of weakness, fatigue or illness of any sort. He’s never been lame or unwell in any way, aside from this, his veterinary history is clean as a whistle.

It’s worth noting that selling him would be my second choice and I’ve come up with a price that I think is very fair based on all of his qualities with his heart defect in mind, hence I won’t be entertaining any lower offers. I believe I’m asking around half of what he’d be worth without the murmur and arrhythmia.

Flame has done only a little bit of competition, because my interests lie in connection and good horsemanship rather than competition, but he has been out to a good few local dressage and jumping competitions and a lot of clinics, fun rides, beach rides and has done some cross country fences out hacking. He can be a little bit of a handful in a new and scary environments but he’s getting more confident every year and he’s very genuine and never explosive or panicky. He takes a lot of confidence from his human so would never run from a problem if he knew he could trust his person. He’s not particularly spooky these days but I can’t say he’d stay this way if he was with a nervous rider, hence I’m only looking for a confident and competent person for him.

My main interests lie in classical dressage and liberty horsemanship. Hence Flame has a strong dressage foundation including all lateral work, half pass, shoulder in, in walk trot and canter. Walk to canter, canter to walk and can do a flying change. He has a strong propensity for collection. We have done a fair bit of jumping for fun. He has jumped a single jump with rider 1.20m, loose 1.40m and has competed in jumping shows up to 90cm. He has great ground work skills, very easy to join up with and will follow you around like a puppy he’d be amazing for someone serious about liberty. He has also begun learning Spanish walk. If Flame doesn’t know how to do something, it’s because I haven’t had time to teach him. He’s an extremely fast learner and is one of the most talented and intelligent horses I’ve ever worked with.

Flame will be your absolute best friend, partner in crime and love of your life. He’s wonderful with children, my five year old learned to canter on him, and he’ll stand for hours being groomed and fussed over.

Full up 15.3hh palomino Spanish mare. Lusitano X Hispano Arab. I imported her from Spain a year ago with absolutely no intention of ever selling on.

She was brought to be my last -forever horse, but thanks to a selfish driver hitting me and my aged mare a few weeks ago , I am now reluctant to ride!

This mare has a lovely character, very easy to do and deal with, comes to call , loads herself, travels well, (lorry and 3.5) not tried a trailer.

Good with farrier, dentist etc, vacc's and teeth up to date, shown in hand last year and took many firsts and championships.

Up to date on vaccinations, worming, teethe ect. Kairel is a cheeky chap who loves to play so not one to leave rugs over the door as he will be flinging them around having a party. He’s easy in the contact with nice paces and has most of the lateral movements in place with a green change both ways developing nicely and a little passage. He has a busy brain and loves running the higher level work so wouldn’t suit a total novice rider. He’s not phased by much and thoroughly enjoys outings and would be eligible for BD and MCI and the Iberian showing classes. He has started Spanish walk and has a Ancce record in the stallion classes prior to importing. He was imported as a four year old stallion. He love’s adventures and outings on the lorry or trailer (he’s been on both happily) and has attended camps and clinics which he has thoroughly enjoyed.
