Im a confident rider with many many years of experience with different breed of horses. However, as I am nearing 40, i am now looking for my last horse of a life time, so looking for a nice allrounder to have fun and bring me back home safe and in one piece.

I own a small holding which consists of stables, arena and 10 acres of land.

Currently have 6 horses at home which consist of a pony for my daughter, 2 retired that have been with me for years and 3 youngsters I bred myself.

Things I am looking for in my next horse - they must be easy to do in all ways, I often will go to shows by myself or with my young daughter.

Confidence giver and forgiving in the jumping department, someone to help me out when I get it wrong - nice steady approach when jumping, don’t want something that locks on a shoots forward.

Hack out alone and in company.

Would like to start doing more dressage, so something that knows the basics.

I do enjoy the odd fun ride with a friend so would be nice if I can do this without the horse jogging the entire way or running off when another horse comes past. (Had many of these type of horses when I was younger, my body was more able back then)

No bucking, rearing - I understand it is impossible to ask for a bomb proof horse but something not too spooky.

I am actively looking and have a healthy budget for the right horse.

Height - 15.2hh to 16.3hh

Age - 7 years to 11years may go slightly older depending on how old. But don’t want to go any younger as I do what the horse to have experience.

Ideally looking to buy from a private home, someone who has had their horse for a while and knows a lot of history.

Horse must be open to vet and vet history.

Cariad Bach Faith is currently competing BD up to Adv Medium level with her owner/breeder. She is a pleasure to take out, always well behaved when out training and competing. Owner travels her around the country from west wales in a trailer, often on her own with no help. Her temperament doesn’t change away from home.

Faith has three correct and expressive paces with a lovely rhythm and cadence.
Shes nicely forward off the leg but not sharp or spooky and works into a lovely soft outline. She is safe and sane without being dull.

Her owner/rider is a visually impaired rider and due to Faiths trainability and temperament we feel she would also be suitable for para dressage for the right rider, or be a good candidate for BD ‘Children on horses’.

Faith is a fabulous hack. Good in traffic including tractors and well behaved in open spaces. She hacks alone and in company, she is a real gem.

Out standing 15.2hh cob gelding with the best feather I have ever seen on a cob in my life. Apart from being, noble, reliable, kind hearted, & genuine he loves kids! He lets them slide off the back of him, hang all over him, climb up him to get on. They can lead, ride, brush and handle him. He is a complete freak and will go into water for a swim with his jockeys also! Zeus doesn’t care about traffic, yard moves, environment. He will literally just do the best he can.

He will hack up the A14 or walk trot and canter round a school. He’s very comfortable to ride. More slow than go but not dead to the leg. Just so obedient. Good to stable or turn out. Welcome to try in any environment.

Genuinely kind cobs like this are so very rare to find and one that can carry men and women and also adapt to children is unheard of. He is solid and road stopping whenever people see him. He reminds me of something off a movie!

Solo is a very quality horse, with a super nature very kind and willing. Solo is multitalented competing in British Dressage, British Riding Clubs (East Dorset Riding Club), combined training and jumping (workers and SJ). Would go XC but this is not for me! Some 2024 results;
CHAPS UK restricted final winner, champion points accumulator, winner and res champion starter stakes, res supreme bucks spectacular, champion sport horse in hand and ridden at the New forest show. Solo gives a lovely ride, with three beautiful rhythmical balanced paces, with good lateral work, superb jumper has taught me so much very scopey capable of bigger tracks but I'm only comfortable at 80cm. Solo is not suitable for a complete novice or first time buyers but would suit a competent amateur/ teenager or a fun allrounder on. Solo hacks alone or in company goes first or last however wouldn't be suitable for road hacking as he isn't keen on bigger vehicles but is fine with cars, vans, dogs etc. Snaffle mouthed, never strong or silly.

Shod all round up to date with chiropractor, dentist vaccinations, farrier, does need to stay on a gut balancer.

Lives in at night and out during the day, lovely on the ground and a real pleasure to have around. Currently out competing so is fit and ready to go and give a new family lots of wonderful memories.
