• Are you thinking about purchasing a foal or youngster?
• Do you need somewhere for your foal to go for weaning?

Do you work full time and worry about the time needed to give your youngster a correct basic education?

Do you lack horses of a similar age for your youngster to run with?

Now accepting bookings for September onwards. Limited spaces available.

Located in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside Leake Connemaras offer Foal and Youngstock Livery with all basic handling taken care of so that you can be stress free about your youngster.

Youngsters are placed in small same sex and age groups with 24 hour turnout in summer in large grass fields and paddocks with secure fencing. In winter youngsters live in group barns with access to good quality haylage and youngstock balancer. Research shows that small herd living with adequate grazing, space and shelter maximises social, emotional and physical well being.

In addition to the above youngsters get the basic handling they need to form the foundations for later training such as bathing, grooming, sessions on the horse walker and horsebox loading. Our aim is to produce well rounded young horses and ponies that will excel in life, whether that be as someone's next olympic hopeful or family friend

Livery package includes haylage, youngstock balancer, bedding and farrier.

2026 buckskin filly

Sire: Avalon OutKast (Bog Mac Bobby x Woodfield Sammy)

Dam: Get Up Ellen (Galileo x Indian Ridge)

A seriously beautiful filly with correct conformation, quality, blood and movement in abundance.

She is a true buckskin filly – known to many as dun – by the Class 1 perlino Connemara performance stallion Avalon OutKast. OutKast has successfully competed across several disciplines, with results in dressage, working hunter, showing and showjumping. He is colour tested CrCrEeAA, meaning his dilute colour genetics guarantee a cream dilution to offspring from bay mares like Ellen.

Her dam, Get Up Ellen, is our Thoroughbred broodmare and a mare we think a great deal of. We have already retained two fillies from Ellen, which is the reason this filly is being offered for sale.

This foal has been quality from the outset. She is correct, athletic and beautifully put together, with a gorgeous head and a huge amount of presence. She has loads of blood and exceptional movement – light off the ground, expressive and naturally athletic.

She has all the ingredients we would want to see in a future competition horse. With the right production, we believe she has the quality and athleticism to go on and do the big jobs one day.

Expected to mature approximately 15–15.2hh.

She will be ready to leave for her new family once her Horse Sport Ireland passport has been received.

A genuinely special filly who is only available because we have already retained two daughters from her dam.

• Very athletic filly with a super pedigree. Bred to event, but also has superb expressive movement
• Excellent conformation with a modern silhouette, strong back, well set neck & long strong legs.
• Very pretty head, calm, gentle and easy going character. She is going to be spectacular at maturity

This beautiful, elegant and unusual double dilute filly represents a super opportunity for someone who is looking for talent, temperament and who dares to be different!

She will attain a height of at least 16.2hh at maturity. She is very graceful and light on her feet, already demonstrating power, elasticity and impressive hind leg action. She is absolutely correct and presents a highly pleasing overall picture. She was bred with eventing in mind, but with her expressive paces, excellent balance and grace, she would equally make an exciting prospect for those looking to compete between the white boards.

She has highly unusual breeding and both her dam and sire are home bred, with her grandparents all also having been an impactful influence on our breeding program.

Her sire is GFS Fire and Ice, a Graded 16.3hh perlino leopard spot stallion whose temperament and willingness under saddle are exceptional. His bloodlines on his sires side are of the hugely versatile and talented Danish Knabstrupper crossed with the legendary, highly sought after and rare Czech national Kinsky warmblood. Fire and Ice has proven an enormously popular sire of horses lauded for their tremendous attitude under saddle and ability to perform well in all disciplines. He guarantees superb temperaments and his offspring are always exceptionally beautiful.

Her dam is out of a fantastic Indoctro x Corland mare whose foals have sold internationally. Neither Indoctro nor Corland require any introduction to show jumping or eventing enthusiasts,

Her sire is also home bred and is Graded with the AES. GFS Lord of the Dance stands at 16.3hh. His breeding represents the rare Russian Trakehner with performance bloodlines honed and preserved at the world famous Dovatar stud and the mystical Akhal Teke crossed with a renowned thoroughbred pedigree combined with the noble Hanovarian.

I believe this filly will have a big competitive future in the right hands and we would very much like her to a home who appreciates her obvious talent with a view to a competitive future.

Her full family history can be further explored on our website www.gfssporthorses.co.uk I also have video on request.

Very attractive dressage-bred filly foal looking for a lovely home at weaning.

She is a lovely type with a super temperament — friendly, inquisitive and easy to have around.

I am very keen to find her a good long-term home at weaning, which is reflected in the price.
