Flora
With a heavy heart flora is for sale through absolutely no fault of her own , 6 year old mare standing 15.3/16hh ,

I had flora imported from Ireland a few years back straight from the track, she had her down time and then started her re training process

Flora has been produced professionally ,slowly but surely but never been over pushed

Works beautifully between hand and leg on the flat with 3 established , balanced paces ,prompt transitions , working correctly on the bridle. Flora has been introduced to lateral movements taking to it like a duck to water

Flora enjoys to jump with a lovely brave/bold jump and a beautiful technique

She has competed unaffiliated in both dressage and showjumping and have always come home in the ribbons along with beautiful commentary from the judges . She have participated in clinics and many different arena hires proving to be sane and sensible in any situation

Flora lunges her self , without the line , changing rein on your command , she has also been ridden multiple times completely tackless and is spot on with your aids as well as voice commands , as well as this she have learnt to park herself up at the mountain block on your request and will stand like a rock for you to mount

Flora is defiantly not your typical thoroughbred and will excel in any discipline

She has no vices , on the ground or under saddle and can be handled by anyone,

Flora hacks lovely both alone and in company , will lead or follow , she’s also been used on many occasions to ride and lead the tiny tots out hacking which is unphased by .

She is a pleasure to be around , the type that will sleep on your shoulder , she comes to call , is not marish , turns out alone or in a mixed herd. Stands for bathing /grooming , loads and travels lovely and good for the farrier

Flora is up to date with vaccinations and worming , recently had the dentist and sports massage so she is all ready to go and perform

Attended fun rides, small showjumping, groundwork clinics travels alone and in company. Very sure footed mare who has been up and down mountains at the Lake District.

Very good on the flat, shows great promise and scope over a fence but hasn’t been rushed.

Intelligent mare that’s highly trainable and thrives off having a job. Ideally suited to a competition home / endurance rider. I Think she would also be a cracking horse for a teenager coming of ponies if they had the support of an experienced adult or instructor. Shes does best on a quiet yard or a home setup. Currently Stabled overnight but would be happy out all year round. she is only 5 and can occasionally be impatient on the ground so not suitable for a novice or nervous handler.

She’s incredibly reliable under saddle recently ridden by a small 12 yr old girl and went foot perfect, you can give her a few weeks holiday and she will be just the same when you climb back on. She has great feet (currently bare foot) up to date with vaccs and dentist.
