Clancy is a striking well-proportioned yet rangy colt, with lots of bone. He has a calm and inquisitive character so is very trainable, and his wonderful temperament will take him far and is just like his half-brother - Perlino Connemara Stallion TawnyDun Aengus.

Bred for quality, his jumping pedigree through his Connemara dam goes back to Westside Mirah and the prolific Sparrow lineage. His speed and TB quality come from his sire's exceptional bloodlines, back to the great Secretariat, and he takes after the thoroughbred in build.

He is very well grown and should mature at around 15.2 - 15.3hh, and will be an extremely versatile sport horse, with the flexibility for Junior or Senior competition in many disciplines. His athletic and balanced paces make flying changes look simple, and he finds quick turns easy!

With his extravagant, active paces and wonderful competition pedigree, his bright chestnut colour, distinctive blaze and laid back manner, he has the potential to be outstanding in any sphere, and form an excellent partnership in his future home.

This foal has a wonderful temperament, correct conformation and beautiful paces, he is very athletic and light on the ground with a real star quality and presence.

He is bred to be the ultimate small sports horse. His sire is the hugely exciting young Connemara stallion Trá Bháin Tailors Shadow, SPSS reserve champion stallion 2022 gaining 9 for his jumping, he is by the world famous international jumping pony Silver Shadow, a European championship pony in his own right and a prolific sire to FEI SJ & event ponies including multiple medalist Cul Ban Mistress. Trá Bháin Tailors Shadow is also maternal half brother to double HOYS and RIHS champion Laburnum Richard and FEI jumping pony Jack the Lad.

His Dam is by top sports horse sire, Ramiro B, sire of multiple 5* winner and Grand Prix show jumpers out of a TB mare by full thoroughbred elite sports horse stallion Quakers Field.

Well handled and is up to date with worming/farrier/vaccinations. Based at Houndsell Stud in East Sussex.
