Cassie is a very attractive Irish sports horse, with a beautiful temperament, a willing attitude and plenty of talent.
By HTS Blackrock, a well-regarded Irish Sport Horse stallion known for producing athletic, rideable horses with excellent jumping ability, and out of a mare by Cracky Z, the influential Zangersheide sire renowned for passing on scope, carefulness and modern sport horse attributes, Cassie has all the breeding to excel while retaining the sensible temperament that makes her such an enjoyable horse to own.
A very well put together mare with correct conformation and plenty of presence, Cassie has been the most amazing allrounder and has been well exposed to a variety of disciplines and events. She has competed successfully at unaffiliated showjumping, dressage, cross-country and pleasure rides, proving herself to be a genuine, fun and dependable partner in every environment. She has been used to enjoy life rather than chase points, and her full history is known.
Whilst she has happily been an all-round fun horse, she certainly isn't limited to that. Cassie has plenty of natural talent, ability and scope and would have no trouble stepping into affiliated competition. She has all the ingredients to make a smart BS or BE horse for someone wanting to progress, having the huge advantage of arriving with the right amount of mileage without the physical or mental wear that often comes from years of affiliated competition.
To ride, Cassie is uncomplicated, comfortable and very much a push-button type. She is forward-thinking, forward going and responsive. She is not a sharp horse but for this reason, she would not suit a complete novice.
She hacks happily both alone and in company and is well accustomed to farm machinery and everyday traffic, making her a pleasure to take out and about.
On the ground she is everything you would hope for. Cassie has a wonderful temperament, is never mareish or sassy, and is a genuinely kind, easy horse to have around. She is good to catch, load, travel, shoe, clip and handle in every respect.
Cassie would be an ideal horse for a multitude of riders, from a fun, forward allrounder that would dabble in both dressage or jumping to a more serious competition horse and everything in in between.
This is a genuinely sad sale due solely to the owners' lack of time She is for sale on behalf of her owners, who would love to see her continue doing what she enjoys most.
