Steel is a homebred of his current owners born on their 12th wedding anniversary - hence the name

He is one of three out of his Dam, with him being her second foal. Her first foal was a filly by ‘Johnnie Walker VDL’ named HH Scotch On The Rocks, now a four year old owned by Jessica Allen who is very confident that she has a great future in showjumping. His second sister, a Strawberry Roan by Geoff Billingtons ‘Just Special’ who has been retained.

His sire ‘Ashdale Goldstar’ line in showjumping speaks for its self, by Nick Skeltons ‘Big Star’. His Dam had an excellent jump and was well placed in working hunter and regular hunter classes.

Steel is a delight to have around, he is inquisitive and quick to learn. Good to handle and has regularly been brought in, rugged in poor weather as well as being groomed

Since being here with us he has continued with his good attitude to life, picked up being lightly lunged in one session and has loose schooled/jumped a couple of times over some small fences proving to be bold and brave whilst having a clever brain and quick reflexes

He is now ready for the next stage of his life and therefore needs to find a new home, very sad sale on behalf of the owner

2025 Chestnut Colt with flaxen mane and tail. By Cadensky from a strong motherline. Grand Dam competed successfully in the age classes in Ireland before being retired as an asset to their breeding program.

Luigi has the sweetest nature he’s been well handled, he’s great to do everything with including tieing up, leading, loading etc. He has very correct limbs and conformation, he will be an absolute picture by the time he’s finished growing. Should make around 16hh.

Mother pictured has recently broken in and been to 3 shows where she’s won 2 Discoveries and 2 Clear rounds in the age classes at Northcote Stud. Additional pictures available on rewuest including his mother’s sibling winning the loose jumping at Cavan as a youngster and pictures of the Dam.

Shes great with the farrier, loads and travels like a lamb aswell. Clean limbed, no lumps, bumps or sarcoids.

She has such presence, and elevation, flicking her toes. She has been good to have her feet trimmed, comes in and out of the stable, and into the arena. Gorgeous 3-year-old gelding by Donthargos.

Donthargos was thought of as the free jumping sensation at the Oldenburg licensing in 2019. He was awarded the title of a premium stallion and was praised for his quick reflexes and athletic scope. His sire Don Diarado won the bronze team medal at the 2018 World Championships and his damline consists of stallions competing at top level as well as top producers including Conthargos.
His Dam Perfect World is by The legendary eventing stallion McGuigan (1994–2008) was a 15.2hh bay Irish Sport Horse sire by Hanoverian Furisto. Ridden by British eventer Jeanette Brakewell, he notably won the Chatsworth CIC*** and placed 10th at the Boekelo CCI***
