So much more than just a pretty face, Popular is exceptionally bred for performance with black type damlines on both sides. Bred to showjump but with enough blood to event, this is a foal with a very bright future in top level sport under the right production. He would also be an asset to any stud as a potential future stallion (so we definitely wouldn't be upset if he stayed!)

His sire, Pearl Jam, is a young stallion directly by Diamant de Semilly out of a French Buffet x Burggraaf mare. He has a maternal sibling competing at 3* level so far and his own dam jumped internationally to 1.35m. The damline has produced multiple international showjumpers from 1.40m - 1.60m including Jarno W, Lottie W and Maybe Forever, as well as several Elite graded mares.

But more importantly, on the dam side we have Lady, bred by the Billy Stud by Billy Um Bongo out of a Cevin Z x Hallodri mare meaning this colt has plenty of both blood and power on both sides. The grand-dam herself jumped internationally to 1.35m whilst her offspring - Lady's maternal siblings - are actively competing 1.45m to 1.60m level. These siblings include Ralph V, Billy Etna, Billy Everest and Billy Manjaro.

Risada Popular is straight and correct with a very attractive head and bright outlook. He is a super friendly, optimistic, happy little guy with the most wonderful nature. An absolute pleasure to be around and have on the yard.

It was no surprise that his sire Florida the young For Dance son was named vice champion of the Oldenburg stallion approval, he is widely considered the best young dressage horse in Holland !

His sire For Dance was a premium stallion at his 2015 Hanoverian licensing, and was Sosath's most popular stallion in 2016. He received a 10 for temperament and character at his performance test. In May, he qualified for the 2019 Bundeschampionat. His first foaling year was outstanding and highly recognized at the licensings. For Dance is a son of the proven Grand Prix stallion For Romance I and makes a great impression with his first offspring and with his performance in the young horse classes.

His damline combines the legendary Olympic sire Johnson and zandigo.

Sire Zinelord brings in new genetics for showjumping breeding and seems to have a bright future ahead of him in every respect. Sire is Zinedream, who achieved multiple victories, including the Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi and the World Cup in Riyadh. Zinedream's sire Zinedine jumped successfully at 1.60m level with Ludger Beerbaum and already produced many talents in breeding. Zinedream was bred out of the successful Contender daughter Panam Air, who also produced the Grand Prix stallion Quiwi Dream. Zinelord's grandsire Lordanos is among the best stallions in the German L-line and produced successful showjumping horses such as Lord Sandro DDH, HH Let's Fly, Light On and Legolas.

Zinelord was bred out of the famous mare Lou – ridden by Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum the impressive grey mare jumped at the highest level. In breeding, the Lordanos daughter also proved to be successful. For example, Lou produced the 1.50m-level classified Van Lou and the 1.45m classified Call Me Lewis in the USA. Lou is also dam of the DSP approved Cameron Champ - a son of Cohinoor VDL.

He is now as a 6/7yo at 135cm level with Marcel de boer and looks set for a big career.
