her sire The charming grey Norton VDL was chosen as one of the premium stallions at the KWPN Stallion Show and stood out for his excellent jumping technique and great conformation. In the KWPN Performance Test the Corland grandson caught the eye again and was approved with 81 points.

Norton VDL's sire Baltic VDL himself jumped at Grand Prix level with Jur Vrieling and James Billington and secured many international victories. In breeding he earned the ‘Keur’ predicate at an early age and offspring like Leonie Jei (Martin Fuchs), Floyo VDL (Richard Vogel), Farona (Daniel Coyle), Foot Loose MFS (Pedro Junquiera Muylaert) and Gerardo-E (Guido Grimaldi) are performing at the highest level.

Norton's dam Wyrusa H already proved herself in breeding; she produced the 1.40m showjumpers Cyruso and Jiwyrusa H and also the international 1.60m showjumper Cat Ninja - successful with Andrew Kocher and now Jacqueline Steffens.

Via top sires Corland and Indoctro the pedigree of Norton VDL goes back to the Nimmerdor-daughter Irusa. She produced, among others, the KWPN approved stallion Wittinger VDL, who ridden by Amanda Flint is still very successful in the United States. Furthermore,

Norton VDL is closely related to Grand Prix showjumpers like Davarusa (Petronella Andersson), Kimber (Darren Finkelman), HBF Delmar (James Smith), Chandelier (Brahim Aadnan), Saruso H (Wouter Devos) and Taruso H (Jennifer Pedersen).

her sire for treasure is a stallion who we have had many progeny of and always been impressed by their quality and temperament

his sire For Pleasure hardly needs further explanation; he won Olympic team gold with both Lars Nieberg and Marcus Ehning and became one of the most influential showjumping sires of all time. With progeny such as Fit For Fun (Luciana Diniz), Funky Fred (Marcus Ehning), For Joy van ‘t Zorgvliet HDC (Kevin Staut), For Felicila (Pedro Veniss), et cetera, For Pleasure is still represented at the highest level on a weekly basis. .

At the Olympic Games in Atlanta and Sidney not only For Pleasure participated, ridden by Jos Lansink the legendary Carthago took part in both Olympics as well. This world-famous sire is the grandsire to For Treasure VDL and adds some extra scope. Further on, For Pleasure VDL’s pedigree o goes back to the influential stallions Ramiro, Jasper and the thoroughbred Lucky Boy.

Although For Treasure VDL earned his breeding license in Vechta, he has Dutch roots. He is bred out of the mare Carthana Z, who descends from the KWPN mare Lamira. Carthana Z already produced the successful 1.50m showjumper Engelien ridden by Dave Maarse and nowadays Germany’s Tobias Thoenes. For Treasure VDL also descends from the damline of the Grand Prix showjumper Anemone’s Vicky of Karim El Zoghby and Mark Bluman and of the 1.60m-classified Onimo.

The very promising For Treasure VDL seems to be an asset for the future with his complete pedigree, modern stallion appearance and unlimited scope.

Turtle is a super stamp that is well put together, straight and correct with great feet and a gorgeous head. He is solid but sporty, an all-terrain vehicle with that super important pony brain, native toughness and sport horse athleticism.

Turtle's sire is the renowned and supremely versatile Ynyslyns Orlando, the only Welsh D to be graded with the AES bringing a unique combination of native pony toughness and sports horse quality athleticism. Orlando is the ultimate allrounder producer who has himself participated in dressage, showjumping, eventing, hunting, working equitation and team chasing and who is known for passing on his user-friendly and highly trainable temperament.

Turtle is a big active mover with an eye-catching trot and an uphill canter. With the right production we think he would do a super test, especially for eventing as Turtle is a MACHINE. Although he has only loose jumped a handful of times he absolutely loves it. He is super bold with quick reflexes and will take on anything from anywhere. We think he would be incredible eventing cross country, out hunting or team chasing. Turtle likes to go fast and jump big!

Additionally Turtle is a massive personality with the most brilliant temperament. He is just hilarious and always seems to be happy and smiling. Has seen traffic, worn tack and been sat on and takes everything on like he has done it all before.
