‘Winnie’ as she is affectionately known, was graded Gold at the British Futurity inspections in August this year, noted as having a nice compact frame, length of croup, nice shape of shoulder and in proportion scoring 8.5 for her overall conformation. She has three outstanding paces, a super active walk with over track, wonderful expressive trot uses her shoulders well and brings hocks underneath her body, scoring 8.5 for her trot. She is naturally uphill and has a wonderful presence. Winnie was noted as being capable of making a good shape over fences despite it being her first time in an indoor and only seeing jumps a handful of times before the inspections, she handled the big atmosphere incredibly well.
All the attributes of being a very smart and competitive horse and is sure to go far, she is naturally balanced and agile making her a very exciting prospect for the future.
Winnie’s temperament is brave and self-assured, at inspection the judges noted her lovely nature and that she looks to her human for support, a real team player she wants to be with you. She has a willing attitude, she takes everything in her stride.
Dam is Gracious Lady an elegant thoroughbred sired by Outstrip, bringing speed, lightness and stamina. Winnie has benefitted from her dam line as modern courses demand tight turns and fast times, her thoroughbred genetics are sure to improve overall agility, reflexes and ground covering stride. Winnie has already proven she can dance effortlessly across the ground and has the heart of a lion.

Grandsire Temple Calypso has produced numerous Grade A showjumpers. His Grand sire Calypso II a stallion known for siring international performance horses with great jumping ability and great ridability .He was one of the most significant sires in Germany. Calypso II dam, Tabelle produced SIX approved stallions, starting with one by Congress, then when bred to Cor de la Brye`re, the five Calypso brothers all of whom were useful horses and valuable sires. Tabelle is a full sister to Samei, who was the dam of the great Granat, a world champion dressage horse with Christine Stuumlckelberger.
Espri was "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 1995" he is one of Germany's best sires for both dressage and jumping horses. His offspring excel as outstanding jumping horses of enormous ability and energetic movements. At present his progeny have earned nearly two million Deutschmarks in competition. The most famous son of Espri is "E.T. FRH" (rider: Hugo Simon, Austria) who is still one of the most successful international show jumping horses. Another son, Edgar, was the 1996 World Champion seven-year-old jumper, and son Esprit de Valdemar competed at the 2000 Olympics. Espri is a correct, medium-framed stallion with a good topline and an excellent disposition.
