Purchased from his breeder as a very green 5yo. Not been over produced as a young horse. Current owner produced him on the flat, gaining qualifications at Area dressage. 31bd pts (prelim). 2bd pts (Novice). Been to stay away shows and dressage camps.

Just started jumping and loving it! Green but very willing. Hacks alone and in company. Snaffle mouth. Really fun easy horse for someone to carry on producing. Temperament good enough to hunt.

Could make a great working hunter, eventer, riding club or super family allrounder.

Class Apart (Max) is a fantastic schoolmaster looking for a U18 or competitive amateur. Max has 28 BE points and 56 foundation points, he has competed up to intermediate and CCI2L level with double clears and top 10 finishes, he’s also won at novice level with multiple double clears and dressage in the low 20s.

He unfortunately picked up an injury in 2022 which is fully healed and doesn’t affect him. He has then had 2 quiet years due to personal circumstances , no fault of his own and has been in full work just not out competing. He is now back out competing and he finished on his dressage score at all events this season and all top 10 finishes, including winning the 100open at West Wilts on a 24 dressage. Max is ready to get going with his new jockey.

He is easy to handle, good on the lorry will happily stand if you take the others away. Snaffle mouth for everything. Good to box, shoe, clip.

With Cruising and Moylough Bouncer as both his grandsires he has a great natural jumping ability with a brain to match. Dougie's dam, Ballagh Rose, is a full sister to DS Ballagh Bouncer who won the Performance Irish Draught class at this year's RDS Dublin Horse Show, so he has extremely eye-catching breeding.

He hacks both alone and in company, not fazed by traffic of any description.

Dougie is forward thinking and likes to get on with his job, but he is not sharp. He is, however, not a novice ride but mainly due to his age.

Has quietly hunted through the winter with the Mendip farmers and has proved to be good with hounds, well behaved at the meet and throughout the day jumping whatever is put in front of him. He’s now done 1 training event & some arena eventing.

Has been produced quietly with the future in mind. He goes in a nice outline in walk & trot but is weak in his canter still however he is improving all the time and has not been hammered in the school!

Good to hack in open fields & on the roads in traffic. Good to do in all ways.
