Broken last year he was turned away over the winter to mature and brought back in to work end of January. Since then he has been showjumping, jumping fillers and full courses, a flat showing clinic with a ride judge and arena eventing, which he loved.

This little horse is still very green and a long way off being the full package but he has taken on every challenge with enthusiasm and a willing attitude.

He is now ready for an experienced and competent person to continue his education.

Please no novices, he is a forward thinking fun cob who still needs guidance and his hand holding.

He will make a fantastic working show cob along with lots of potential in so many areas.

Finn
Heartbreaking sale of our beautiful family cob

Finn is a real chunky weight carrier, the type you dont see around much

15hh, 14 years (turns 15 in May)

He will make the perfect mother/daughter share, happy hacker, pleasure ride, ideal for someone who would like to plod around several times a week. He is not the type that needs to be worked every day

He will hack alone or in company, first or last. Happy to just walk or will pick up the pace & even pop a small log. Never strong or silly, perfect in the heaviest of traffic

He will be tied up and groomed for hours, he loves a fuss. Not bothered being in on his own or if another leaves. Loves cuddles & scratches. Will do anything for a carrot

He has impeccable manners in the field, will keep him self to himself. Perfect being brought in, never bolshy or domineering at the gate. Currently in a large mixed herd

Finn does not enjoy being in the school & therefore will not be sold to a schooling home

Kept on a very busy yard, tractors coming & going, he regularly goes on the horse walker. Never bats an eyelid

He has been handled & ridden by my twelve year old daughter, never ever strong. He has been the ultimate confidence giver, reason for sale is my daughter now wants to progress to jumping & focus on schooling

Loads & travels wonderfully

Currently barefoot

King – Big Heart, Huge Potential, Looking for His Forever Person

Nottingham, NG12

King is a much-loved horse who is only available due to no fault of his own. This has been a very difficult decision, but my daughter’s health issues have meant she has been unable to ride, and she no longer has the confidence he truly deserves. Our absolute priority is finding him the right, knowledgeable home.

We purchased King in July 2025 from Smart Performance Horses (Sam Walton) for my daughter. Since then, he has been ridden regularly (around 4 times a week) by a loaner — usually schooling or hacking, weather dependent, especially over winter.

About King

King has the biggest heart and forms a strong bond with his rider. He is kind and not malicious in any way, but he does need a confident, reassuring person to bring out his best. He thrives on routine and enjoys having a job — keeping him mentally stimulated really suits him.

He works beautifully in the school, is responsive to leg and voice, and is willing and trainable.

He loves hacking and will go alone or in company. He can be a little more aware when alone, but he continues to improve with consistency. He has previously hunted and enjoys being out and about.

King can be spooky at times, but this is improving steadily with regular work and confident handling.

Environment & Handling

He is currently kept on a working farm and is completely used to sheep, farm machinery and general activity.

Good with farrier

Recently seen the dentist and behaved impeccably

Good to clip

Good ground manners, though benefits from confident handling

Loads and has previously transported well (has not travelled since we purchased him)

Happy to live in or out (currently mostly living out)

Bridle and rugs included, but no saddle, he is still growing so currently have one on loan.

100% in all traffic, safe and sensible to ride, has not done dressage or jumping with me purely down to lack of transport but would happily do these. Will ride first or last. She will look for confidence from her rider if she is unsure.

Has shown in hand locally and her behaviour is impeccable, she would easily be able to contest the affiliated in hand and ridden classes but sadly as mentioned above we have not been able to peruse these due to lack of transport.

She has clean limbs and correct true to type conformation and would also be an asset to any stud as a broodmare - has had a couple of foals previously and has been a fantastic mum.

100% on the ground to handle, she is more like a oversize dog! Good to bath (not too keen on her legs) shoe, vet, teeth, load etc!

Lucy is only available to the very best of homes as this is not a decision that has been taken lightly and is a heartbreaking sale due to my circumstances, she has been in the same home for 5 years and it took me years to find her.

Please note she is currently in her winter woolies and lives out 24/7.

Nautrup’s Amaze Malou - Striking 8yrs old 15hh traditional blagdon cob

If you are looking for something special “Maisie” is the one for you. Maisie has a big easy stride and is very light on her feet. Plenty of bone and a ‘real look at me presence’ when she enters the ring.

From what we can tell Maisie was broken at 3 in Denmark and then had a foal. Imported after her foal and went to an older lady who we believe hacked her a bit before becoming ill.

Since being with me she has been to 2 shows, which we believe are her first shows ever, and she has come on each time out. Getting good comments from the judges at her showing show and coming 2nd in her second ever dressage test.

Maisie is not suitable for a novice rider as she is forward going and still needs educating due to being still green but a really exciting prospect for the showing season next year.

Good correct conformation and a lovely attitude. For sale due to not being right for current very novice riders.

Maisie is good to hack, shoe, catch etc… currently barefoot and coping well.

Comes with tack and rugs!

  • Beautiful Type - Correct Conformation - Kind & Mannerly
Rodney is a top-class, minimally marked native coloured stallion, rising five years old and standing at approximately 14.1hh. A stallion with tremendous bone, depth and true substance, combined with straight, correct movement and undeniable presence.

Despite being every inch the manly stallion, he is exceptionally mannerly and level-headed — you genuinely wouldn’t know he is entire. He has a laid-back outlook without ever being a plod; genuine, trainable and straightforward to work with.

Outstanding In-Hand Show Record - Lightly but very successfully shown as a yearling and three-year-old in youngstock classes, carefully campaigned and never over-produced. He has never been placed outside the top two, consistently Highest Placed Native / Hairy, including at:

Derbyshire Festival
Royal Windsor
CHAPS Championships
BSPA Championships
Equifest
Royal Three Counties
Great Yorkshire
Newark & Notts County
Staffordshire County
Royal Norfolk
Midlands Youngstock Show

Multiple Championships and Supremes to his name, building an exceptional CV from limited outings.

Rodney was backed at the beginning of 2025 and produced slowly and correctly with longevity firmly in mind. Last season’s aim was purely to secure grading credentials, which he achieved with ease:

-CHAPS UK Graded (In-Hand & Ridden)

-BSPA Graded (In-Hand & Ridden)

-Passed two 5-stage vettings

-PSSM1 Negative

-Full recorded breeding in his CHAPS passport

He is now established under saddle and ready to progress into novice ridden classes as a rising five-year-old, having been thoughtfully produced and never rushed. He absolutely loves to hack out, works nicely in the ménage and has attended several arena hires under-saddle.

Rodney has been in the same home since a foal. H is up to date with vaccinations, physio, dentist and farrier. He is Clean-limbed, no vices and is easy to handle and manage.

Ponies of this calibre very rarely come onto the open market.

Offered only due to complete lack of time. He is far too good to stand idle and will only be sold to a knowledgeable 10* home where his potential can be fully realised. Videos available upon request.

Can be viewed with Lucy Glover. Based in Nottinghamshire. Absolutely NO timewasters, picture or video collectors.

Serious enquiries only.

Bob is a quality young horse imported from Ireland as an unbroken three-year-old. He was carefully backed and produced by ourselves last summer before being turned away. He has since come back into work after Christmas and is now back under saddle, hacking out weekly, and ready for his new home.

Bob is snaffle-mouthed and has never been strong, hot, or silly. He is excellent in traffic and very sensible in open fields. He hacks happily alone with no napping or nonsense and will also hack confidently in company, either in front or behind. He will happily hack for hours on his own around the downs and will stand quietly at the pub.

He is not a horse that needs riding every day, nor does he require lunging beforehand. He will always stand politely at the mounting block. That said, he is still young and green and would most definitely benefit from someone who can work with him on a regular, weekly basis to continue his education. For this reason, we would not feel he is suitable for a novice home at this stage.

Bob is good to load, catch, clip, and shoe. As a young horse, he does occasionally need his hand held and things explained to him, but once he understands, he takes everything in his stride.

He is a lovely forward-going ride with a super step and a very chilled outlook on life.

The sweetest and most genuine cob you could wish for! To make someone very happy, a super family cob, happy hacker, would possibly suit riding school. Carrot is a super chap, as wide as he is tall and like riding a comfy small armchair. He loves his hacking alone and in company, hasn’t been at all bothered by any traffic met with us and is very sensible.

He’s not the fastest but not overly bothered if out in company and he gets left behind by his sportier friends! Carrot is working sweetly in the school in all paces and will trot over a little jump, he’s very keen to please, he is still green but obedient to the aids and learning about outlines; he’s naturally very together on the flat , he’s a lovely mover and will with further schooling do a lovely dressage test.

He’s a super model of a traditional cob who moves really well and would do well in show ring (TGCA would be ideal for him) He’s still on the greener side of things but a very simple ride and always tries to please, his brain is wonderful to work with. He has been ridden by a variety of riders with us from confident novice upwards, everyone loves him! He has the most lovely can do attitude and just gets on with whatever you ask of him. With a bit more schooling he will do a very neat dressage test. Whatever he ends up doing he will give a lot of fun.

Carrots lovely temperament continues in and out the stable, he’s excellent to catch, box, clip, bath, feet trim ( barefoot v good feet) and just wants to be your friend.

Everyone who has met him falls in love with him. He doesn’t drive yet but would look wonderful in harness and has the right brain to do this job safely.

He has a lot to offer his new owners and we look forward to seeing him make someone really happy.
