• A total BFG Rodney is an absolute sweet heart
• He has a lovely laid back attitude to life

17.2hh, roan, 4 year old, unregistered Clydesdale, gelding.

A total BFG Rodney is an absolute sweet heart bought and backed produced by ourselves last year.

I bought with the view of him being used in the trekking centre as he has the right temperament. However, he is just to too big for our Welsh narrow hills and trails.

He has a lovely laid back attitude to life and would make a lovely family horse. He just wants to please and is more about life in the slow lane but has such a willing and kind attitude to life.

He is always ridden in a snaffle, he rides alone or in company.

He happily lives in or out and has lived with a mixed herd.

Rodney has a lot of making up and maturing to do and is big and lanky currently with that in mind he is offered at competitive price which would have wiggle room to the right humans.

He is currently on sales livery in Warwickshire as I’m currently out of action.

Breeding & Conformation

Out of the highly regarded Royal Welsh-line mare Haighmoor Gwenllian and by San Cler Athos, “Flow” possesses the textbook Welsh Cob stamp. She displays superb flat bone, rich feathering, a beautiful front, and straight, expressive, active movement that is guaranteed to turn heads in the youngstock and mixed native classes.

Sire: San Cler Athos – From the world-famous, premium San Cler Stud. Bred from foundational royalty (San Cler Toby lines) renowned for maximum flat bone, heavy feathering, and world-class, rare dilution genetics.

Dam: Haighmoor Gwenllian – Celebrated Royal Welsh Ridden Champion (by Fronarth Victor) with a legendary career spanning supreme native showing and competitive dressage. Flow is a maternal half-sister to multiple championship-winning sports cobs.

🐴 Temperament & Education

Flow has been lightly and correctly backed, proving to be incredibly sensible, willing, and level-headed. She is well-handled, polite on the ground, and shows a wonderful, calm attitude towards her education. Owned since 6 months old with full history known. Lovingly raised, as bombproof as a 3 year old can be, and completely unfazed by farm machinery or traffic. She absolutely loves people and will follow you around like a dog.

🎨 Her color-tested Silver Bay status makes her a genetic rarity.

Not jumped due to her age, however she did like a bit of free jumping and showed some talent and scope!

Standing at approximately 15.2hh outstanding Irish Cob Gelding |Just 5 Years | Exceptional, Safe All-Rounder |OIRO £15,500

If you’re searching for a horse that genuinely can turn his hoof to anything, then look no further.

Standing at approximately 15.2hh and having just turned 5 years old, this beautifully bred Irish Cob carries the renowned Faeryoak prefix, known for producing quality, versatile horses with exceptional temperaments. Produced consistently, sympathetically and correctly, he combines a sensible, trainable brain with quality movement, presence and versatility that is increasingly difficult to find.

This exceptional young horse has already enjoyed success in a variety of disciplines. He has competed in Riding Club activities and local-level showing, regularly taking the spoils in the cob classes and achieving Reserve Champion, only being beaten by a very smart Shetland on the day.

On the flat, he is established, level and willing, with three balanced paces and enough flair to produce a very smart dressage test. He has attended jumping clinics, is lovely over poles and is sensible and straightforward to a fence. Having been cross-country schooling, he has seen solid obstacles and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Gates are no issue, happily opening and closing them with ease.

Despite his age, he possesses an exceptionally sensible head on young shoulders. He is the type the entire family can enjoy, as an example:

• Hunting on Saturday with Dad

• Dressage on Monday with Mum

• Pony Club activities with the children through the week!

A superb weight carrier, he is kind and forgiving with novice riders whilst still offering enough quality and ability for a more experienced rider to enjoy. Whether you’re looking for a quiet hack around the village, a Riding Club partner, a showing prospect, one for hunter trials or hunting, he is an all-round family horse who is adaptable enough to do it all.

On the ground he is an absolute gentleman and a pleasure in every way. He loads, travels and clips impeccably and is easy to handle in all respects.

Currently barefoot with excellent, strong feet. Recently had his teeth attended to and is fully up to date with vaccinations, worming and all routine care.

A truly special horse with a bright future ahead of him - a real investment.

Viewings welcomed and open to the vet.

• Placed first at unaff dressage and jumped clear at 80cm

Rodger is a super smart, 15hh 6 year old cob gelding.

Imported from Ireland, he has done a bit of everything including hunter trials, eventing, Pony Club camps, beach rides, showjumping, and plenty of hunting.

Rodger is a pleasure to have on the yard. He’s great to shoe, groom, tack up, and he loves a fuss!

In the arena, he works sweetly in an outline. He was recently placed 1st at unaffiliated dressage, receiving lovely comments from the judge.

Rodger very much enjoys his jumping. He is brave and unfazed by fillers, very genuine to a fence, and forgiving of his rider, happily helping out if needed. He is currently jumping courses around 80cm with scope to progress further or happily step down.

At home, he enjoys both schooling and hacking and is always a pleasure to ride.

Rodger would suit a rider looking for a fun, capable all-rounder to go out and enjoy a variety of activities.

A genuine super horse looking for a home where he can continue to have fun and be enjoyed.
