Jackson is a stunning, kind, and talented 5-year-old gelding, currently standing at approximately 14.3hh and still growing.

He is a super loving boy who thrives on attention and is always keen to come in and do something, even if it's just for a cuddle! He is ready to find his next partner to continue his education and reach his full potential.

Training & Experience

I have owned Jackson since he was a yearling and have professionally overseen his entire training program, including all groundwork and backing. He was professionally backed and has been backed for a year and is progressing beautifully.

He is working well and confidently:

Ridden Work: He hacks out calmly, enjoys polework, and has popped over a small cross pole. He is happy to be in work and is progressing well in his flatwork.
Groundwork: He is excellent on the long rein and lunge. He is very sensible and well-desensitized—I have done extensive groundwork showing him 'scary' things like plastic bags, and he has even had tarpaulin placed on his back and over his head, and will walk over it.
Temperament: He's a lovely horse who responds best to a confident rider to help him relax and flourish. He is generally very sensible but, as a young horse, is still seeing new things for the first time—for example, he had a slight reaction to cyclists on his first encounter but was fine with them soon after.

  • Loving and experienced forever home offered
  • Safe and sensible type wanted
  • Looking for a partner to go out there and enjoy life together!

A loving home offered with a fun and varied life for the horse with hacking onto sandy tracks, groundwork, weekly lessons, pub rides and riding club activities. Established basics would be great for low level dressage and training clinics. I am an equine massage therapist in my spare time so lots of care will be provided! I have some great instructors to help both ridden work and groundwork.

Ideally looking for:
-14.3 - 16hh MW Stamp (Cobs/Irish Draft/Connie X/ISH types)
- Good to hack in company, alone and in traffic
-Been there and done that type
-Gelding only (due to livery space available)

Lovely airy stable waiting with a window and all year herd turnout plus 24/7 turnout over the summer. Very happy to keep in touch with regular updates. We have had our retired pony (now 32) for over 20 years and still keep in touch with his previous owner.

If you have something suitable I look forward to hearing from you.

14.3 11yo traditional cob Gelding

Top class county coloured ridden traditional / dressage / allrounder

Seth has been previously proven in the show ring; In 2021 in his first season out showing he stood champion at north west champs in the Novice class. The following year he went out and competed a lot more and was always in the placings and even took champion again at north west champs in the open cob.

Not only does he love showing but he’s proven in dressage too.

Seth was with current owner 4years and he was sold on via myself in 2023 where he went on and competed in dressage.

In 2023/24 he competed in Team Quest and my quest qualifying for the regionals . With Individual scores average 68-71% at prelim.
He was then sold back to his original owner is 2024 where he’s done a few local shows winning every time out and show jumping to 75cm; proving to be not phased by fillers .

Seth is also a fan of his regular visits to the beach & fun rides.
He was previously based on a busy yard and is completely unfazed by all that goes on around him.

He hacks out alone and in company
Lovely straight forward ride and aims to please

Hes good for the farrier
good to bath and good to load

He has been out with both mares and geldings and is no issue and he is handled by young kids on the ground no issue.

Now ONLY for sale due to lack of time.

Breath taking 14.1hh 5 year old rare In temperament & colour dapple cob gelding. He really is like something out of the movies. Full of feather and mane that’s not far from the floor!

He is amazing in every way and so kind. He’s never had a bad experience with people and has had the best upbringing. Will load without a head collar, go to arena hires, hack to the moon and basically give anything his best shot.

Very low maintenance and I would trust him with anyone/children in the box, never been mean in his life. He’s a pleasure to take out & be around.. he’s not lazy but also not too forward, The normal things you shouldn’t do to any horse you could with him, would never kick or bite, I don’t think it’s possible to have an accident! Might nibble for a treat if you have some in your pockets.

Great with traffic, he’s a ride & drive, extremely versatile. I cannot sing his praises enough! There are no quirks, good with farrier & to clip. Will stand to be bathed without being tied up.

Has done all types of fun rides he really does deserve his forever home and only five star homes need apply as I owe it to him to make sure he has just as wonderful future as he has upbringing. open to any bloods and vettings.

Genuine reason for sale & change of circumstances.

Head turning 2019 15.2hh roan Irish cob gelding, not only can this chap ride beautifully, he also drives! The perfect ride and drive gelding.

Splash is a friendly chap, he has sweet nature and enjoys being groomed and being around people. He has three nice big paces in the arena and moves well with a great step. Splash works in a snaffle and is extremely comfortable to ride. He will ride off your voice.

Splash does jump coloured fences and rustic fences from trot or canter. He’s a complete confidence giver, totally safe and easy and a hard find.

Looking for a horse with the following requirements; I am aware that I am looking for something that probably doesn’t even exist.

- Over the age of ten, anything younger than that will not be considered even if it is the most patient of horses out there.

- Preferably 15hh and over.
- Nothing too fast or too slow; looking for something that has good breaks but enjoys a good canter round the fields.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

He has been professionally broken and had a great start with his ridden education and now being continued in his novice showing season with being at equifest 2025 with great results.

He is good to hack alone or in company good to catch.

He has established 3 paces but is NOT a novice ride he can throw a cheeky buck in and must be confident with stallions.

Gorgeous 2019 15hh registered Highland. Alfie has been in the same home since a foal, he is a kind, friendly and sweet on the ground. Alfie has three lovely paces, he’s comfortable and steady, will ride off your voice or your aids and he’s trustworthy and easy in every way, such a safe, happy, laid back chap. POLLY
AVAILABLE WITH 28 DAY TRIAL.

Polly is a beautifully bred, well put together young mare who has been lightly backed and is showing an incredibly genuine attitude to work. She has three correct paces, a soft mouth, and is hacking out confidently both alone and in company — excellent in heavy traffic and on open grass.

Lightly schooled in walk and trot, still green as expected for her age, but ready to continue her education with a kind and capable rider. Would equally make a lovely broodmare given her quality breeding and kind, trainable nature.

An absolute sweetheart to have on the yard — adores fuss and attention, brilliant with the baby and kids, and excellent around all animals including chickens, dogs and goats.

Good to bath, catch, load, travel, handle and for the farrier.

Traditional Shire stamp with good conformation and plenty more maturing to do. She has a very mild, purely cosmetic roach to her back which causes her no issues & I suspect will be less noticeable when she has finished growing, has proper top line etc.
No CPL, stringhalt, or shivers. Open to full vetting.

Still a little gangly and has growing and filling out ahead — a big, kind girl with a bright future.

Proud to offer for sale a top-class bay Welsh Cob colt, showing all the quality, charisma, and presence you'd expect from generations of proven bloodlines.
Foaled mid April, this colt came out confident and strong and always turns heads. He boasts symmetrical white socks on both hind legs, a rich bay coat, and a beautifully marked face. My amateur photos don’t do him justice!
