Fred is a lovely laid back chap, looking for his new home.
He is a lovely stamp of a horse, a leg in each corner. The type you sit on and never want to get off. He loves to stop and have a chat. He can have a month off and then you can get back on like he was ridden yesterday, easily picked up and put down when life gets busy, or the weather is horrid !

Fred would suit a confident novice. Or someone looking for the quieter life, He is a cob so can have his little stubborn moments (as in he stands still!) when he feels he wants a tea break, so does needs someone with legs that is happy to give him a kick occasionally. He doesn’t take much convincing.

Fred is good in the heaviest traffic out hacking, never bothered by any other horse’s behaviour, great in open spaces,
He does not hack alone. He is happy with one other or a whole group! He will go infront , but will also very happily go behind.

Fred will happily live in or out, with mares or geldings,
He is a big soppy boy on the ground. Easy to handle, good to clip all over body and around head, although he has ticklish legs so does need low vibration clippers or a touch of tube sedation,

Fred is up to date with vaccinations. farrier, dentist and physio.

He does prefer to see company when stabled and in the field, so he wouldn’t suit a solo yard. He gets a little anxious if left alone.
Fred loves to hack and this is where his heart really lies, although he will go in the arena and does enjoy going over the odd pole and small jump , but not too regularly at the minute as he isn’t overly fit.

Fred is an ex riding school horse, so very chilled with different riders. He is more whoa than go, but will happily go with the right persuasion.

Izzy is a part bred Welsh mare who has been in the same home with us for the past nine years. She is a really nice natured mare and loves to please. Clean limbed, very attractive mare with showing bloodlines. She has done all round activities with me including unaffiliated dressage (typically scores 65-75%) show jumping and cross country (BE80 tracks). Dressage judges love her.

She enjoys pleasure rides, prefers to hack in company but I have hacked her alone since I've had her. We have off road hacking so I can’t comment on what she would be like in traffic. She is good to shoe, clip and catch. For travelling she is better loading onto a lorry than a trailer but will load onto a trailer with a training halter (she has always travelled in a trailer with me). She travels well on both.

Genuine reason for sale. She is better with unrestricted turn out and shelter and for this reason I won't sell her to a home with limited turn out. She is currently coming back in to work after a winter break. She is a kind mare but not for absolute novices. Happy to discuss her veterinary history. She does not need any routine medication or veterinary input.

Izzy would suit a home for general all round activities, hacking, and veteran showing. Homes will be checked for suitability and good home is more important than price. Price to include some rugs and tack is available by separate negotiation. Based near Thetford Forest.

Rizzo is a smart 16.1 Irish sports 6yo black mare. A kind and genuine mare, that’s polite and well mannered. She would benefit from an experienced understanding home.

Rizzo rides well on the flat, has 3 balanced paces with an expressive step and is also established in her changes.

Jumping she is bold brave and honest, a forward take you to the fence ride, jumping anything put in front of her, unfazed but coloured or rustic fences, water, steps brushes etc.

Loves to hack and will go for miles on her own or in company, good in traffic and open spaces. Is good to bath, catch, load and travel etc.

Rizzo is being sold as a project for a fraction of her price due to the following reasons. She has been seen to weave when the yard gets busy, however once she knows her routine settles well. When we first got her she was impatient when mounting but this has improved massively but would need to be continued in new home. She is also still shy of the farrier but this has been improving with time and a sympathetic hand, we however can pick up all 4 feet without a problem.

Completely honest ad as we want Rizzo to go to the perfect home where she can continue her education and gain more confidence with life where she will become the horse we know she has the potential to be. Home is more important than price so open to offers! However we will carry on schooling so price will increase with progress

I have know him since birth and owned him until he was 7 I broke him in. He is a lovely chap lovely temperament and always willing to please.

We have hunted him he was good on the field stood at the meet good with the hounds and jumps everything. He has been around a course of fences nothing phases him like fillers or anything has 3 lovely paces . Currently being ridden by a 15yr old girl .

In his current home for the last 3 years he has been on a farm so used to all animals and machinery hacks out alone or in company first or last.

I think he would prefer a active home doing a bit of everything. He is low mileage for his age so would suit more a confident experience rider.

Maggie is a big cuddly teddy bear. I have owned her for 4 years. She has nice flat work and is just in a snaffle bit at all times. She has 3 nice paces at walk trot and canter and can do a nice prelim dressage test.

She happily jumps round a small course of fences and is very sane and steady to ride to a jump. She has worked in my riding school since a 4 year old and has been used for novice and beginner riders.

Maggie is a super hack where she is happy to walk by anything and is good in traffic. She is a real sit on and daydream hack. Maggie is really kind in the stable and loves her cuddles.

He is completely unphased by buses, lorries, farm machinery and all types of vehicles. He remains safe and steady in all environments and does not rush or pull, even in open spaces or on the way home, you can gallop across open fields with loose horses running along side him, then immediately pull him up and allow him to walk on a long rein or ask him to stand while horses run around him, he is most definitely not sharp, spooky or spiny.

He has been truly exceptional during her time on the riding school, he is unbelievable forgiving when rider lose their balance, struipps or have a bad stride into a fence, he always takes care of her riders, his substantial build, with a leg in each corner, combined with her calm disposition, sure-footedness, and gentle nature, gives riders confidence to progress and excel. He will stand patiently at the mounting block while you mount. I can honestly say he has absolutely no quirks, vices or negative traits.

Although he is happy to go at a quiet steady pace, he is also responsive to the leg and has three beautiful balanced, steady paces. For more experienced riders he will work into a nice outline with enthusiasm and energy, always staying calm and sensible, he has never bucked, reared, kicked or bitten, he is the most loving kind gentleman you could ever wish to meet.

Axel has outstanding ground manners. He stands for hours to be groomed and fussed over, with or without a head collar or lead rope. He is not clingy, and is happy living in or out. In the field he keeps himself to himself and never causes trouble, whether stabled alone or turned out in a mixed herd.

Axcel has a history of excellent health and has never had laminitis, sweet itch, sarcoids, or any lumps, bumps, or unsoundness.

He is currently barefoot with strong, healthy hooves and is equally happy to be shod. He is excellent to clip, bath, catch, great to load and travel, fantastic with the farrier, vet, and dentist.

He is incredibly low maintenance, requiring no daily work. He can have weeks or even months off and return to ridden work without any fuss. He maintains his condition year-round on a simple diet and is easy to manage in every way.

He passes our riding school annual Licence Inspection, which is the equivalent of a Stage 2 vetting.
