He has hunted, gone on fun rides, shown, been to clinics, spent two summers in the New Forest hacking out alone and in company, competed at unaffiliated dressage and show jumping, and been schooled by a professional dressage rider for 6 weeks for each of the last three years. Counter canter and simple changes established this year. He won his last prelim class at dressage and currently is jumping clear rounds at 60 cm. He schools over higher jumps. He has been cross-country schooling. Enjoys jumping - never stops. He will take you into a fence. Does everything in a snaffle and plain nose band. He has a good mouth and 3 good paces. Lovely to ride not heavy in the hand. Safe to hunt, goes along with the field, and jumps all the jumps.

He prefers to hack out in company as he can spook or nap if he doesn’t like something when on his own. Maeve works nicely on the flat, with three steady paces, always snaffle mouthed. Has been schooled the last couple of weeks now riding in a better shape, showing what a great brain she has to work with.

Jumping she is bold and honest, going off any stride, she will jump anything put in front of her taking care of her rider from start to finish. Maeve has been cross country many times along with many pleasure rides. She is completely unfazed, jumping solid fences, ditches brushes, banks, steps and will happily go through the water!

She has also been out to multiple arena hires, training shows, clinics, clear rounds with petite lady rider. Once again proving what a sensible head she has, unfazed jumping fillers water trays, is happy in busy collecting rings or riding within a group as well as on her own. A very straightforward genuine ride always wanting to please the rider.

She loves hacking and would go all day, hacks alone and in company, first or last. Good in traffic and open spaces, stays in a rhythm that the rider is comfortable with, never silly or strong.

Dudley is a lovely coloured cob type gelding who has recently been slowly and sympathetically produced.

He is a lovely mover with expressive paces and a fantastic, trainable attitude. He has recently started working beautifully on the bridle and is really beginning to enjoy his work. He makes a lovely shape over a fence and is completely unfazed by fillers.

Dudley has been out and about to plenty of polework lessons, rallies and an unaffiliated showjumping competition, where he behaved brilliantly in the warm-up with other horses and then popped around a set of BS showjumps sweetly. He has competed at a couple dressage competitions now and got lovely comments from the judges and wasn’t phased by the white boards at all.

He hacks well alone and in company and is polite and sensible when cantering through open fields.

He is a genuinely kind and easy horse to have around. He is good to catch, barefoot trim, load, travel and clip.

Dudley would suit a competent rider looking to continue the education of a lovely, well-rounded young horse and take him into any discipline. He is, however, still green for his age and can be a little bit of a worrier. He needs a rider who can give him confidence and hold his hand when required, so he will not suit a novice or nervous rider.

Where do I even start about this amazing horse! This is a very sad sale of an amazing horse as he was originally brought as a yearling for the whole family and he just grew to big !

Bailey is a 6 year old , 17,1 , ISH with gorgeous colouring. He has very low mileage and has been produced slowly and correctly, He is amazing to do in all ways and such a gentleman on the ground. We have hunted him all winter for his first season and he was amazing, stands impeccably at the meets and loves the attention and we would love to see him still going out as he really does enjoy it.

With everything said he is still only 6 and is still green when it comes to a few things like show jumps I would say he needs a bit more education with the right home before he completed a round, he loves to do it but the thing he struggles with most is confidence so we have just been taking it really slowly with him trying to make it the most enjoyable time for him. He’s definitely more of a reward not a punishment type of horse. he will be amazing as he has great scope and style over the fences. He has amazing feet is currently barefoot but he had shoes on over winter to prevent slipping when muddy!

Please absolutely NO novices as he can have a spook and can be a bit nervous at times and takes a lot of confidence from the rider if some thing scary! but saying that he is still safe and is ridden regularly by a 15 year old and he would benefit from a confident and kind rider. He does dish out on his front right but it causes him absolutely no problems whatsoever. He has no vices , good to clip,farrier, dentist, loading travels alone and in company! No loans or lease

Rhubarb is an easy to do, half-appaloosa, all-rounder with a beautiful jump.

She has done local dressage competitions, SJ, XC schooling, gridwork and flatwork clinics, hunt rides, fun rides, arena hires etc. Jumping is her favourite, but she could turn her hand to all PC/RC activities. She won both SJ classes I entered at her first RC show.

She is perfect to catch, clip, shoe, dentist, physio etc. Unfazed by traffic, barking dogs, machinery, flapping bin bags etc and generally unspooky. Hacks alone or in company, unflappable around our busy yard with children on scooters, mowers, tractors etc.

Very good do-er thriving on just grass, hay and the odd carrot, will live in or out, only front shoes. In work, fully fit and ready to go.

No vices or medical history. Passed a 5-stage vetting when I bought her. Up to date with farrier, dentist, saddler, vaccines etc. Same home 3.5 years.

Those are the good things. I want to be completely honest, so these are the downsides:

She can be difficult to load. I’ve not tried her in a lorry, but it takes patience and two people to get her into the trailer. Once she’s in, she travels well. This could be improved with regular practice, I suspect.

She can be sticky/reluctant/unenthusiastic in the school – some days she’s a delight to school but others, for reasons unknown, she will decide she doesn’t fancy it. Usually, I can get past this, but it is frustrating.

She can put in the odd buck and be occasionally fizzy. This would usually happen when cantering in open spaces, especially if she’s cantering with

other horses, or on landing from a XC jump when she’s having fun. The bucks generally aren’t unseating and I think some people would find them fun, but as I’ve got older, I’ve got less brave and am too conscious of my responsibilities to my children etc to enjoy that sort of high jinks.

Comes with a full wardrobe and tack, including fairly new saddle which was bought specifically for her.
