Casper got a lovely temperament and definitely a yard favourite here! He’s a lovely big horse with a big presence about him schools nicely on the flat. He’s a flashy horse with the looks to go with him.

Brilliant ground manners and just a nice horse to have around. Good to hack alone or in company. Not phased by any traffic or farm machinery.

He has previously hunted and done unaffiliated showjumping and will pop around a course of fences.

Floyd has been kept on a DIY yard.  He is good to hack alone and in company.  He’s encountered many tractors and farm vehicles without spooking.  

In the fours years that I have owned him we have competed in the Cotswold Cup League and British Eventing.  He has covered the following courses: Bovington, Moreton, Chard, Pontispool, Cirencester, Barbury Castle and Tweseldown.

Done lots of Grid Work clinics, Pole Work clinics, Dressage, Show Jumping and XC.  Floyd is always willing to learn and is quick to pick things up.  

He has a fantastic jump and is eager to learn.

Floyd has good flat work – is schooling well, currently jumping at 90cm, competed at 90cm show jumping.

He’s been out and about, show jumping, dressage, eventing, pony club rallies and camps.

Good to catch and can be kept out all summer, stabled at night over winter.  Good to shoe, clip, vet, dentist. All vaccines up to date.

Duncan will be a rewarding winter project for someone to start competing next year.

He has been taken out XC and SJ training.

Went on the gallops for the first time today.

Duncan was owned by a novice and this did nothing to build his confidence. We have worked quietly with him to now be more confident.

Really nice paces and BIG jump make him an exciting prospect.

Upto date with teeth, vaccinations, physio

Passed a 5 stage vetting this year

He will not be sold to a novice.

Has 3 big paces in the school. She has mainly hacked and hunted but with time will make a lovely dressage horse as her paces are expressive.

Jumps SJ and XC fences, enjoys it and happily pops a x pole for this that don’t want to jump big.

Will carry weight, snaffle mouthed and no vices.

Meet four year old ‘Copper’ - stunning 16.3hh, Irish gelding. Chestnut with white socks and blaze - such a flashy model

Copper is a lovely person. Really easy to have in the yard. Lives in or out. Perfect to catch, beautiful stable mannerisms etc. He has a very trusting character and an easy person to work with , I think those two characteristics alone would see him do well in life. Had his first clip and I didn’t even tie him up, allowed me to do his face etc completely on my own , a true gentleman. Picks up all feet , stands for a bath, wearing rugs etc - extremely well handled and ready to go a job. Such a beautifully natured horse

Copper went for breaking earlier this year. Then returned to owner and was turned away for down time. I have recently purchased him with the intention of getting him under saddle again and producing him but I think I was a little over ambitious on how many hours there are in a day for one person. I’ve sat on him once and ambled around the yard. He was a saint

I plan to do much more with him if he is still here in a couple of weeks once I have made some more time but offering him at a smaller fraction of his value as he is now just due to being over stocked

Cop is a very light and expressive mover. Showing a natural range in trot with a super canter. We have loose schooled over fences and he is effortless and scopey. He makes me feel excited every time we work him , I do really think he will be so special for someone. Deep down I wish that someone was me!

I’ve long lined him in traffic and he seems unbothered , he’s a brave character who is easily reassured. He wants nothing more than ti please. He’s clean limbed , no vices , lumps or bumps, loads and travels well - just a genuinely lovely young horse

Not for a novice due to the obvious- very raw into education and just a baby who deserves someone ti give him good experiences and some fun. A nice horse with the basic foundations installed but still raw enough ti make your own and add your stamp

Will be a shame to see him go without doing more with him but I need to start being realistic with my time. Open to any inspection , delivery available also. A good home is a must for this special boy

Meet ‘Lucky’ - the charmer of the yard! Full of love , character , and mischief!! A big , athletic model of a horse standing at 17.1hh , 7yo. Retired from racing sound , vice , and injury free

Lucky is a lovely horse to have around. So low maintenance and easy to own , you don’t hear a peep from him. Easy to love and pamper , clip, bath, shoe etc - a super chap through and through!!

Luck is very well schooled on the flat. Makes a lovely shape , classy mover and straightforward to ride. Snaffle mouthed , forward and keen but not strong. Has previously done some low level dressage successfully

Loves his jumping , very brave , again is keen and committed but not strong. Not phased by fillers etc. Has taken part in unaffiliated show jumping and shown ti be very mannerly and sensible at shows. Has also attended clinics, riding club etc !

Hacks out like a dream. Probably one of my most reliable on the yard. Hacking along our 60mph main road daily , alone or in company and is always a total saint

Lucky was purchased earlier this year by my client as a first horse for her daughter. Unfortunately, he had proved to have too much engine for her and therefore they have sadly made the very difficult decision to let him go. Lucky is a cheeky chap and I think if he thinks you may let him take the mick then he is inclined to take that opportunity. (I’ve only seen this side to him when fresh and in the school only). However, lucky rides like a schoolmaster when I ride him so it’s pure cheek!! He just simply wants a rider and not a passenger. Understandable at his age , he wants to have some fun!!

A very smart and capable horse who comes with his tack. To include a beautiful fitted Kent and masters saddle in immaculate condition!
