Dylan
17hh 8 year old bay gelding by Guindam out of a Una II mare (by Darco)

Dylan is a striking attractive model with 3 flashy powerful paces. He is correctly put together and has world class breeding. With his sire being Guindam and his mother being out of the legendary Una II (by Darco)

Dylan has been professionally schooled on the flat with auto changes and works nice and softly at all times. He has big, flashy, powerful paces.

Despite being a big horse Dylan is never strong and is ridden in a snaffle and currently ridden at home and competition by a 15 year old girl.

He is ultra brave and forgiving, he would turn his hoof to any job such as, eventing, working hunter, leisure rides not just showjumping.

He is very good to hack and good in open spaces

Good to lead, load, catch and is the friendliest horse in the yard.

Dylan had someone run into him in the warm up, hence why we have put red ribbons on him. He is absolutely not a kicker, and he has massively improved but it did rattle his confidence however the more he goes out im sure it will be forgotten.

Stunning 15.3hh bay mare with the kindest heart.

Nina has been extremely reliable. She won at hickstead in the derby meeting and qualified for the main arena twice.

We have owned Nina for nearly 3 years and know all of her history. She is a perfect bronze league, first horse for a teenager coming off ponies or an amateurs diesel horse.

She would be perfect to aim at HOYS 2026 bronze league final. Nina will give her new rider lots of wins.

She is a fun and forward ride and loves her job so would suit somebody like minded.

She has no quirks or vices and is not mareish whatsoever.

Up to date with teeth, worming, vacs and good to clip.

We had planned to put Nina in foal this spring as she is such a beautiful model but sadly we have come to the realisation that we are not in the position to start breeding and are completely overstocked. Nina has been in work for the last couple of weeks as we prioritised the young ones so she hasn’t been jumping, but she’s in work and ready to go. Price is hugely reflecting this!

No timewasters please she is very special to us and this is a decision not taken lightly.

16.2hh
Shire Cross
Chunky Weight Carrier
Jet Black, 6yrs, mare

Astrid is a stunning Jet black Shire Cross with a big heart and a loving sole currently working in a riding school by intermediate level and above riders, although still green in the school, she is a genuine blank canvas with a lovely, willing and trainable nature. She is beginning to understand his flatwork, canters on the correct leg, and is learning to maintain balance and straightness. She is confident over poles and small obstacles and always tries her best; never sharp, spooky or silly, simply straightforward and eager to learn. With a more competent rider, she will work into a soft outline and is already showing promising development in suppleness, balance and responsiveness to the leg, including the early stages of lateral work.

She is wonderfully safe and sensible, naturally more whoa than go. If a rider loses balance or stirrups, she will quietly come back to walk without being asked, making him incredibly forgiving and confidence-building for riders with less knowledge.

She has a big, genuine heart and learns quickly. Despite not having done extensive arena work, she puts his heart and soul into everything asked of her. Her slow and steady outlook on life, paired with her calm, unflappable temperament, means nothing much phases her.

Her experience has been primarily trekking and hacking, and this is where she truly shines. She will happily plod along on a loose rein and look after his rider in any environment, making her a super kind, uncomplicated type for someone who wants to put their own stamp on a genuine, honest horse. She is most definitely a sturdy sure footed mare with a leg in each corner.

She does not fizz up, spook, shy, rush, pull or behave in a silly manner. Her chilled, steady temperament remains the same wherever she goes.

Astrid hacks in the heaviest of traffic without batting an eyelid, waiting politely at junctions without moving, staying rock-solid as lorries, buses, tractors, trailers, motorbikes and farm machinery pass closely by. Open fields are no problem either; she has impeccable manners in open spaces and has cantered and gently galloped on grass verges beside busy roads. In a group, she is happy leading, in the middle or at the back, never pulling or trying to overtake if anything, she sometimes needs reminding to keep up!

She also hacks out alone with complete confidence and a mature, ladylike attitude. Absolutely nothing seems to faze her, making her an ideal partner for someone wanting a reliable, safe and genuine horse who will give confidence and enjoy life at a steady pace.

Astrid can be ridden every now and again and have the same chilled out attitude as when ridden daily.

She is excellent catch, load, travel, bath, clip, groom, farrier, dentist, vet.

She absolutely loves to be pampered, she will stand all day without a head collar and lead rope whilst being groomed, bathed, cuddled and fussed over.
She stands quite happily in her stable eating her hay with the door open, never attempting to walk out unless asked.

She gets lead, caught and handled by the smallest of children, she is quite happy being dragged around the yard on the end of a lead rope.

She will stand at a mounting block without moving until mounted, regardless of how long it takes.

Snaffle mouth with absolutely no gadgets.

She is currently stabled during the day and out at night within a mixed herd, she is equally happy to be stabled or turned out full time, she keeps herself to herself and never causes any trouble despite being out with 30 other horses.
She isn’t clingy or marish in any way and is happy being stable and or turned out solo.

Astid will give confidence to any rider/ handler and could easily compete at riding club level, fun/beach rides.

She can go for months without work then be tacked up and ridden without any fuss, she is extremely low maintenance, she maintains her weight all year round on grass and hay and Haylage during the winter months.
She has never been lame had laminitis, sweet-itch or sarcoids.

In the whole time I have her I can honestly say she has never been lame, sick or sorry, my vet can verify this, she has passed the riding school annual inspections with flying colours, this is equivalent to a stage 2 vetting.

Looking for a five star private home to give someone the opportunity to purchase a safe and very sensible horse, with so much to offer.

Astrid is being sold on behalf of my son as a private sale

Absolute heartbreaking sale but we like to change our stock around about every few years to give our fantastic horses and ponies the opportunity to experience a one to one home again.

We have other horses and ponies available for viewings.

Photos and videos available upon request.

Beautiful Mare

£5,200 ONO
  • Sport Horse
  • Liver chestnut
  • Mare
  • 18 years
  • 15 hands
  • Good conformation
  • Good groundwork & flatwork
  • Intelligent, genuine horse

Lily is a mare still with plenty to offer. She is a genuine horse who has been coming back into work over the last year after previously being a broodmare. She is a beautiful, well-put-together, hardy, good-doer. She is being ridden regularly and has shows potential in everything she does. She's good with traffic and large farm machinery and takes most new things in her stride.

She has good manners on the ground, enjoys her groundwork and is regularly handled and ridden on a busy working farm. She will happily come in from the field on her own, and can be ridden in the school or out hacking.

On the flat, she produces a lovely natural shape, with a naturally rhythmical way of going. Her movement is correct and attractive, and she will only improve further. She hasn't done a lot of jumping recently but enjoys what she's done, always trying her best, sometimes needing an extra squeeze for reassurance, she is not strong to a fence, with a snaffled mouth.

She can live in or out. She has had two foals in the past and was ridden before breeding, since she has been bought back into work she has made good progress. She currently lives out 24/7 in a mixed herd of geldings and mares.

Lily would suit a experienced and capable teen or adult rider, looking to enjoy doing more with her, as she is a intelligent mare she would take advantage of a rider who lacks knowledge or confidence. She has been good to handle, good with dogs, used to livestock, having lived with sheep and seen cows and pigs. Confident and calm when travelling on a lorry, having attended a local show with other horses, and good with farrier, dentist & vet.

Annie - 15.2, 5 year old (2021) Irish cob mare.

Annie is the epitome of a supercob, she has so much to offer and is such a lovely kind soul that only aims to please.

Backed and ridden away last summer and mainly hacked. Annie was imported from Ireland in November from the breeder and is ready to go on to her next adventure.

3 good paces in the school and surprisingly naturally balanced for a horse of her age and type. A very comfortable canter and not big and bouncy. Hacks alone and in company, loves to box up and go for a hack to explore the countryside and pop a log in the woods. She’s a lovely forward thinking brave sort that wants to do the right thing.

Just started popping a few fences she has a lovely jump and is really honest.

She really would go on and do a variety of jobs whether that be exploring the countryside, fun rides, riding club, hunting. World is your oyster.

She has been a real pleasure to have and I ride her last every day so that I always end the day on a good note with a smile on my face! She is still learning so wouldn’t suit any very novice riders.

Good to catch, bath, load, groom, tack up. Clipped for the first time recently and was a bit worried at first but then started to enjoy the scratchy bits so settled down and stood quietly. Did have a set of shoes on but is now barefoot as she really didn’t need them her feet are solid. She thought the farrier was a bit scary but again, just young and needs reassurance.

USTON – Exceptional, Genuine All-Rounder

Uston was purchased by ourselves earlier this year after his previous owner felt he was simply too big. From the moment he arrived, we have completely fallen in love with him.

Despite his impressive size, he is an exceptionally easy and manageable horse who does not ride “big” or awkwardly in any way. He is well-balanced, comfortable, and far from the typical “giraffe” type often associated with larger horses.

Uston has a huge, scopey jump and is incredibly careful, giving his rider plenty of confidence without ever feeling unseating. He has three lovely paces and a good level of flatwork already established.

He will happily hack out alone all day long, remaining calm and sensible at all times. He never becomes hot, silly, or strong, and is a pleasure to ride in all situations.

He thoroughly enjoys his work and has proven himself to love hunting, showjumping, and cross-country, making him a versatile and exciting prospect for a variety of disciplines.

Please note, he does make a slight noise in his canter. This does not affect his work or his health in any way. If this is a concern, we kindly ask that you do not enquire.

Uston is a very special horse and will make someone extremely lucky.

No vices. Loads & travels well, comes up to you in the field, loves kisses and treats and baths and being spoilt. Super friendly and loving chap that will suit the whole family.

ISH looking for quiet hacking home

  • Hacks alone & in company, can be very forward
  • Loyal companion horse
  • Suit experienced home with grass turnout and small herd
Due to daughter's study commitments and leaving for university we are rehoming our handsome gelding Ozzie.

- Needs a knowledgeable, patient and competent rider/handler, preferably 18+.
- Sensitive horse that prefers a quieter environment and constant equine companionship
- Once warmed up Ozzie is a nice forward ride. Enjoys hacking in woodland and fields, best in company - keen to canter at the head of a group. Can nap while hacking alone if unsure, takes confidence from his rider so he can be lead past any issues and carry on.
- Schools nicely on an even surface, will pop a few jumps. Unfortunately no longer enjoys a show/competition environment.
- Never bolted or reared.
- Full history known. We have owned Ozzie nearly 5 years, only 1 previous owner.

- Currently out on grass in the day/in at night but could live out 24/7 on grass with field shelter and one or more companions
- Very loyal companion horse, can be turned out with mares and geldings. Finds being on his own stressful, prone to separation anxiety. Happiest when turned out daily in company, and able to have visual and physical contact with stable neighbours (e.g. through bars).

- Up to date with vaccinations, wormer, farrier, dental and saddle checks.
- Good for farrier, vet, dentist.

- Has been barefoot for 2 years, wears boots on fronts for hacking on hard ground. Could be shod in new home if necessary.

- History of glandular ulcers, since scoped clear. Managed with turnout and constant access to forage and company.
- Diagnosed with arthritic joint in neck 2 years ago. Since then has had twice yearly steroid injections to maintain comfort and suppleness.
- Full vet records at Bell Equine can be disclosed, vet is happy to discuss any concerns.
- Comes with Agria lifetime equine policy in place (unfortunately neck injections are not covered)

- No trailers. In previous home travelled on 7.5t lorry with company. He has only travelled a few times in a 3.5t box while we have owned him, as we do not have our own transport and have excellent facilities/hacking at the livery yard. Loaded and travelled ok with vet sedation when necessary. Loading onto 3.5t improved with professional help and this could be worked on further.
- Good on quiet roads, used to cars, vans etc. Familiar with yard vehicles such as JCBs, forklift truck, tractors. Good with dogs.

- Ozzie will make a lovely ridden horse to someone who is prepared to give him time to settle in and do the positive training required to get the best from him.

- Comes with tack and boots (fronts)
- Right home more important than price
- Can be viewed at livery yard in Bexley/Sidcup (South East London/Kent border, can be accessed via non ULEZ road)

- No loans, LWVTB or trials. No dealers.

Albie – Fun Allrounder for Confident Teen / Small Adult

15.1hh rising 9-year-old Irish Sports Horse gelding looking for a confident rider to enjoy him.

Albie was recently purchased, passing a 5 stage vetting, for an 11-year-old rider but has proved to be a little too cheeky for a younger child. He is a kind horse with a sweet nature but can occasionally be a little nappy, so he is best suited to a confident teenager or small adult who will ride him positively.

Previously he has been regularly ridden and jumped by a 17-year-old, where he proved to be a fun and enthusiastic ride when handled with confidence.

He is not a complicated ride, just a horse who enjoys his work and benefits from a rider who will ride him forward and enjoy a bit of personality.

Albie would suit someone looking for a fun all-rounder, Pony Club or riding club type to enjoy hacking, schooling and jumping.

Tilly was broken and brought on by myself. I did do dressage, Show jumped went XC, did fun rides. Placed most of the time. A teenage girl also jumped her. Then she went back to owners where she was ridden a little.to hack out. Unfortunately, Tilly went lame. I had her back here with me and decided to put her in foal. The filly is now 2 this year.

The picture is of Tilly and her then foal. Tilly is now in foal to an Elite Stallion, Mayflower Morathie, standing here in Cornwall.Due to foal end of May, beginning of June.

The last foal, Tilly did everything herself. Xrays have been done on her foot and shows a slight problem but cannot and must not be shod in front. I wore boots on her feet and she really liked them.

No more competition work but as a brood mare and very, very light hacking (excellent in traffic), Tilly would be fine.

Flex - Approx 15.1hh, 6yo, gelding. Believed to be Connemara x Irish Draught (breeding unrecorded).

Flex came to me 7 weeks ago to be restarted and I am now helping his owner find him a suitable new home.

A little background on him.
His current owner, Jodi, purchased him in July 2025 from a lady who had owned him since he was a 2yo. He was broken in by her and mainly used for hacking. Jodi had him 2 stage vetted at the time of purchase, which he passed with no issues.

Shortly after arriving home he did some schooling and hacking, however in October 2025 he became difficult and did rear when asked to hack alone. In November 2025 he went to the vets to be scoped where ulcers were found, and he was also diagnosed with acute RH PSD believed to have happened in the field. He was treated for the ulcers, had shockwave therapy, and had 8 weeks small paddock turnout.

He was rescoped on 13th January 2026 and confirmed clear of ulcers. The vets also confirmed he was sound and advised that he could be restarted.

Flex arrived with me on 14th January 2026 where I completely restarted him. I began with groundwork, progressing to long reining around the whole farm. He proved extremely brave and not spooky. Over the following 6 weeks he progressed to walk, trot and canter in the arena under saddle, worked over pole exercises which he really enjoyed, and was hacking out alone nicely. During this time he seemed a much happier horse. Jodi came to ride him weekly with me in the school and hacking alone and he was good for her each time.

After the 6 weeks he returned home but sadly reverted back to his previous behaviour and reared while hacking alone with Jodi. Because of this he has come back to me so we can hopefully find him the right home, rather than him being sold through a dealer without his full history being known and potentially ending up in the wrong hands and being passed around.

He has now been back with me for 10 days. He was unsettled for the first few days but is now back to the happy Flex I know.

I genuinely believe he is a lovely horse and could make a lovely project for someone experienced who has the time and patience to continue his education. He has a very loving personality and is easy to handle and have around.

If you wanted to hack in company all the time you would likely have no issues as he is foot perfect and not phased by machinery or road traffic. However if you wanted to hack alone you will need to be confident and prepared to work through any potential sticky moments.

He hasn’t reared with me. We’ve had two moments over the 7 weeks where he thought about it but he never actually did. I’ve only ever had positive experiences with him, videos below are us hacking alone recently around our village and out in fields. I have lots of long videos of Flex whilst he’s been with me so I can send them on WhatsApp.

He is up to date with teeth, physio, saddle checks, farrier, vaccinations and has wanted for nothing in his current home.. his owner is happy to speak to anyone interested.

£4,000 including saddle which has recently been fitted.
However open to offers as the home is more important, we’d rather see him happy in a home then being passed around.

Not my usual type of advert but I’ve spent a lot of time with Flex and I do believe he has the potential to be a lovely horse for someone and I really want to try and help him out and see him succeed in the future.

Tommy - Stunning 4-year-old gelding, approx. 16hh, ID x.

Tommy has been backed and has hacked out both alone and in company well. He came to me for further schooling and jump training, and in just a few weeks he has come on tremendously.

He has the most wonderful brain, works beautifully on the flat, and is extremely well balanced. He is already producing lovely changes and is proving to be very trainable and eager to learn.

Tommy has jumped a few times under saddle and has taken to it very quickly, popping a small course of fences sweetly and confidently. He has also shown successfully in hand, so is well used to show environments.

He would make a wonderful horse for someone to continue producing over the summer. He is straightforward enough for a competent teenager or amateur rider. He is eager to please and has the most wonderful temperament.

Tommy recently had his first clip and stood amazingly for his full body clip, including his ears.

Good to shoe, bathe, hack, turn out, and lunge.

Although Tommy is proving to be an extremely easy and safe type, he would not suit a very wobbly or nervous rider as he is still young and needs further education.

A lovely young horse with a bright future ahead of him, and one who could excel in any sphere.

Striking 4yo ISH Gelding, by Carrabawn Cross X Star Kingdom, with an attitude to die for way beyond his years. We really do think this lovely young horse has it all to be a fabulous hunter or Allrounder for anyone. He’s extremely easy to ride, ridden regular by my little 13yo sister, always in a snaffle and a complete pleasure to ride and have around.

Peanut has hunted in Ireland, and while here with us he’s been XC and SJing arena hires, UA SJing competition, lots of hacking and we have continued his education in the arena. He has beautiful paces, scopey Jump and completely unfazed by fillers. He’s now more than ready to go to his new home where he’ll make a top class hunter or Allrounder.

At home Peanut is a pleasure. He hacks alone and in company, he’s vice free and is the sort that doesn’t need riding every day. He’s out in a small herd but equally happy on his own or in.

This is a rare opportunity to purchase a stunning young Traditional Cob mare who is destined for big things. She has all the attributes to be a winner whether that’s between the boards or in the show ring. Confirmationally she’s very well put together, beautifully marked and so eye catching. She really is a beautiful girl.

Patchy has the most fantastic paces, they are bold and flashy, making her turn heads! She is very well schooled for her age, proving to be very trainable and an absolute pleasure to ride. She is the one that we all fight over who’s going to ride her every day and is definitely a yard favourite! She has so much potential and would be a fantastic prospect for Petplans.

Patchy has just started jumping and will pop round a small course, totally unfazed by fillers. She has plenty of scope and would be a contender for BD CT Championships!

At home, she is a complete pleasure to have around on the yard. She is vice free, hacks alone and in company, 100% to catch, load, farrier ect.

Smart Allrounder

  • A very smart mare who is looking for her next home
  • Has done arena eventing, show jumping and local dressage
  • Hacks alone and in company, and is great with all forms of traffic

I have had Dora since she was 5yrs old at a busy yard:

- She hacks alone and in company, and is great with all forms of traffic, farm machinery, sheep, pigs and cows.
- She has done arena eventing and show jumping.
- She is good to load and travels well to outside arenas (alone and with other horses).
- She has done local dressage events arranged by the yard, with her scores rising each time into the 70s.

She has 3 lovely paces and is balanced to ride. She is great to clip, shoe, catch, load and travel. She is good with the farrier, dentist, saddler, physio and vet (although new people with have to introduce themselves!)

She is a social horse and enjoys the company of other horses - having been in a herd and in a busy stable block she wouldn’t settle well in an isolated stable.

No vices. Always ridden in a snaffle. Up to date with all vaccinations, dentist etc.

Dora is a fab horse and will make someone a great allrounder - she has the ability, athleticism, and talent to suit someone who can give her the confidence which sadly I sometimes lack - this is the only reason for what is a sad sale.

The right home is the most important factor in this sale.

Open to full vetting.
