Stunning 16.1hh 16 yo homebred gelding. Sire Country Top Dollor, dam Miss Matilda (Connemara x Welsh).

Writing this advert might break my heart……

Mr Music is homebred, he has a sensible outlook on life, incredibly correct way of going and has been my best friend.
He has three rhythmic and powerful paces. An absolute dressage schoolmaster, having competed consistantly up to BD Elementary, placed everytime at Regional Championships and placed at BD Nationals. He has 505 BD points.

He has previously evented, won numerous times at BE100 and placed top ten at Badminton Grassroots Championships.

We ve done everything together WonBE Arena Eventing National Championships, WHs, done clinics and even gone to the beach.

He hacks out alone or in company, sensible in traffic.

In recent years competitively he has focused on Bd and has achieved success after success.

I know him inside and out, he is such an easy horse to have at home or away at a competition.
His is very sensibly priced and he will only to a 5*home where he can give someone so much experience.
Full vetinerary history open to discuss and very sensibly priced in reflection of this. He is fit and well.
The home is the priority to me over the price. Please call only.

Captain is a 17.1hh, 12-year-old Belgian-bred gelding by Game Boy out of a Grandeur dam.

A true amateur’s dream and a top-of-the-range, gorgeous allrounder, he rides with clockwork consistency and presents a refined, athletic silhouette that makes riders look good with minimal effort.

Having spent most of his life in the same home, Captain has been correctly produced and cherished by an amateur rider. He is unmistakably top quality, and while a more ambitious or professional setting could have unlocked his full Grand Prix potential, his mileage has remained appropriately modest for his calibre. His temperament and talent are undeniable, and he is exceptionally polite both in and out of the stable.

Beautifully schooled with an eye-catching presence, Captain has exquisite paces, a head turning floating trot, and an incredibly comfortable canter. Established auto changes and a straightforward, rideable nature make him a standout for a rider seeking versatility and reliability. He would definitely be a top export opportunity for the USA with ease for hunters/equitation/jumpers and would slot straight into any program, poised to be highly competitive.

Captain consistently jumps clear rounds both show jumping tracks and cross-country courses with precision at 1.10–1.20m. He adapts to the rider’s needs, stepping up or down as required, and is always balanced, with a clear sense of his own stride.

Captain would thrive in pure dressage, eventing, show jumping, or even a glamorous addition to the hunt field. He is beautifully schooled, sensible, and impeccably mannered, hacking out alone or in company. He is polite, easy, and free from vices in every way.

Handsome, exceptionally talented all-rounder with the temperament to suit an amateur or professional program alike, Captain is a rare find, he is a privilege to own and an absolute delight to ride.

A 5* home is a must for this absolute gentleman.

Teddy is a lovely sweet boy with a heart of gold, he loves fuss and attention, he has a lovely character!

Teddy has came over from Ireland where he was a Hiring Hunter , been well started with a lovely attitude towards his work. Been very well handled and very well loved!

They did hunt him this season a couple occasions, Teddy has also done sidesaddle showing and Dressage, and trips to the Beach, they have done alot of hacking with him so he can see the world. He has been X country schooling with us, he jumped hedges / on and off banks / water etc.. and been to training shows. Very willing and he took everything in his stride.

Teddy is good hacking in the heaviest of traffic with another horses or on his own, you can open and shut gates on him and canter though open field and bridleways safety...Teddy is just snaffle mouthed, stands at the block while you get on.

Teddy would make a fantastic riding club / allrounder / sponsored rides / beach rides/ mother and Daugther share / Hunting home. Teddy is a lovely fun little horse with a lot of potential ..

Noodles came to me having just been backed as a 5 year old. For the past 2+ years she has proved herself a sensible reliable hack. Not much fazes her, excellent in even the busiest traffic crossing motor way bridges, dealing with farm machinery taking it all in her stride. We regularly box out with friends and ride all over Essex. She has been taken on several holidays where she settles readily. She is happy in front and behind with 3 comfortable paces. She is generally forward going but can be stubborn if she sees something she doesn’t like. Never spins or rears and will take a lead whether its another horse or me on the ground.

Noodles is incredibly nosey and spends much of her time taking in her surroundings. The past 12 months we have attended monthly pole clinics which she has taken to very happily, using both indoor and outdoor schools.
Noodles loves to stand and be groomed and is good with the farrier. She has always been barefoot and copes well with most terrain. She lives out 24/7 with a light rug, never been clipped. She loads like a dream and travels well.

Noodles is a mare and can be feisty, she can get excited in a big group so I tend to ride in pairs or on my own. She will occasionally put a buck in when cantering behind. Due to her age and inexperience she needs a confident rider who is prepared to work with her and continue her education. She has so much potential and will try her best when asked. A long term experienced home is sought for this genuine horse.

Kenny
15.2 Rising 6yo Irish Cob Gelding
£12,000

Smashing head turning Irish cob, who has the sweetest temperament to handle in and out of the stable, can be seen being loaded in out of the trailer by small 11yo boy. Thoroughly enjoys a groom and fuss whilst also being great to shoe and clip.

Slowly and carefully brought on, showing an eager attitude to learn, he will make a very smart pony club / riding club allrounder with a super smart look about him.
He is correct and balanced with straight moving paces whilst giving an extremely comfortable ride, snaffle mouth and would certainly become a shining star in the show ring in the future. would also train on to make a superb dressage cob with some more education.

A super well started blank canvas, with all the basic education done, ready for someone to put their own stamp on and make their own.

Has been introduced to coloured poles / fillers and natural obstacles. Not a spooky type at all with jumps or fillers.

Has a couple of days hunting under his belt and if not sold before can be seen out with the Coakham.

Would be a great candidate for an equestrian college.

Hacks out, seen all types of traffic and works politely in open spaces.

Clean limbs and no vices

BALLYLINAN 21, known on the yard as Frank, a big and gentle 4yro Irish bred bay gelding, standing at approximately 16.3hh. Frank is a big framed horse, a rangey, solid type with good bone and a good length of stride.
Arrived from Ireland at the start of 2025, Frank hasn’t not been rushed, ridden early spring, turned away to enjoy the spring and early summer before coming back into work well participating in a range of activities and currently in work.
He has a wonderful, kind temperament and is genuinely easy in every way, Frank has made a great start to his education:
Flatwork- Frank schools politely and always tries his best. Schooling in a snaffle, he goes up the paces going well off the leg and has a soft mouth coming down into the correct contact.
Hacking and riding out - Regularly hacking in company, Frank is brilliant around other horses, never hot or silly. He hacks alone well and is fantastic in traffic, regularly riding out on narrow country lanes meeting bicycles and cars through to Lorries and tractors. He enjoys riding through bridleways and fields and is willing to go where asked.
Trail hunting and other activities:
Frank really enjoyed hound exercise through late summer and took to trail hunting delightfully in the autumn and recently. Proving to be good with hounds, standing at the meet and behaving well in the field. He is easy to load and travel, to or from places and able to come away from the other horses, always pleasing his rider. Has also been to arena hires and a local fun ride.
Frank is popular on the yard, always got his head over the door for a scratch. As a young horse, he’s at that lovely stage where he’s absorbing everything and will continue to gain confidence and experience with his new person. This offers a brilliant opportunity for someone to put their stamp on him and enjoy bringing on a quality, straight forward youngster.
Frank has all the makings of a super all-rounder, family horse or hunter, and with the right home, he’s certain to become a much-loved and reliable partner.
Good to shoe, load and travel, clip, tack up, untack, lead and turnout, lunge. No health issues or vet history.
Up to date with vaccines and wormer, shod all round, seen dentist and currently in work.
Open to any vetting.

Do you want a horse which is a pleasure to own and ride, and always come back with a smile on your face every time, she’s for you. No pressure to ride all the time, as this mare is the same every time. Straight forward, comfortable, equal go and woah. She’s off of your leg, so no kicking every stride, but not sharp in any way. She’s game for a good canter down the tracks and across fields, but pulls up easily.

Stands at the mounting block like a rock, for as long as you want. Hacks out alone, in company, you can lead her from another or ride her and lead another horse. Great doing gates, and in heavy traffic (we live on a 50mph road).

She’s been a great fun horse going to dressage and show jumping competitions and clinics (prelim and 70cms) but this was 5 years ago so would need a refresher course, she’s been a great mother to Spartacus, conceiving and foaling easily, and for me a great hack, who I can ride out whenever I fancy with no worries of the last time she was ridden. She always brings a smile to my face, and I know I am safe.

She’s bare foot, fully vaccinated, easy to clip, wash, spray etc.

Has a made to measure Albion K2 saddle, Seddon bridle and numerous rugs

She is safe and anyone’s ride, if you can ride! She is not suitable for complete novices, or those who have only been riding old or riding school ponies - you will find the step up too much.

She deserves to be someone’s number one, and she’s only available as I’ve bred myself a taller version.

KWPN or ISH type for 15yr girl old to do Cotswold Cup up to 90cm

Ref #: 396572

  • 7yrs - 14yrs
  • Kind respectful temperament.
  • 15.3h - 16.2hh
  • 7yrs - 14yrs
  • Kind respectful temperament.

We are looking for a kind sensible horse for my 15 yr old daughter, who has ridden since she was 8yrs to do unaffiliated events; hunter trials, PC activities, XC, SJ & D clinics, fun rides and Cotswold Cup at 80cm 2026 season with a view to progressing to 90cm in 2027. Hunting would be a bonus but not a deal breaker.

She is 5ft 8 and still growing, ideally around 16hh that she can handle on the ground safely and has a kind temperament as she is looking for her next best friend. No TB, Cobs, full ID or Arabs.

Ideally we would like a horse that has a few years experience of low level eventing under it's belt. However we are happy to look at a greener horse provided it has had a good amount of schooling, been out to some XC and SJ events.
Video attached of her riding level, considering the pony is 21yrs, 15.2hh and a very steady ride. We are looking for a more forward ride to jump bigger tracks at an unaffiliated level to go out, have fun and build a relationship with her new best friend.

We would prefer a gelding but will consider mares if they have a nice temperament!
(Her favourite is steel or dapple grey but obviously not picky on colour)
Must be good with tractors and traffic.
Must hack alone.
Must travel in a trailer.
Good to shoe, clip, catch etc
Budget: high 4's low 5's

We are an experienced private home, based near Marlborough, Wiltshire, with our own set up and shetlands for company.

We are ready to buy having tragically recently lost her horse, and missed out on a failed vetting, all in the same week.

WhatsApp if you might have anything suitable.

Super fun and reliable hacking or hunting horse—happy to go out alone or in company. Good in traffic (including farm machinery), animal and confident in open spaces.

He will ride and lead, and he’s very easy to keep fit. He doesn’t need daily riding and is no different even after a few weeks off.

Straightforward in every way: clips, baths, loads, shoes, and handles well. Low-maintenance and happy living in or out, alone or with others.

Owned since he was a 4-year-old, full history is known.

He doesn't enjoy schooling, but he loves hacking, beach rides, fun rides, and will happily pop a small log or two. Has hunted and was mannerly.

He has no quirks and is straightforward out hacking and is regularly hacked by my confidence novice friend.

He is slightly flexion positive on the right hind, so he will not “pass” a vetting for someone seeking a competition horse, but will be fine for a hack/hunting pleasure horse happy to discuss further. His price reflects this as he would be in the 5's and he is offered as a fun, pleasure-riding/hunting type.

He is a beautiful quality horse who just wants to please and who is priced realistically.

Andy is wise beyond his years, I haven’t sat on a more straightforward horse. He adores his jumping and will do anything to help his rider out. He is a phenomenal event prospect and will make someone’s dreams come true, either for badminton grassroots/ U18/ or 2*!

Andy is established on the flat, works in a lovely contact in walk/trot/canter. He is starting to learn his leg yields as well, he has a green change each way.

He has just jumped his first discovery showjumping and made it feel super easy. He is bold at fillers, never looks at a thing. He gives a powerful feel over a fence and will always help his rider out. Andy has competed arena eventing at 90/100 and never looked at a thing, you always come back grinning after riding him. He has done a hunter trial and is ready to go out with a bang next season.

Andy hacks alone or in company. He is brilliant in heavy traffic. Stands on the lorry alone or in company, you can take his friend away and he will just wait on the lorry. He is brilliant to shoe and clip. No vices, he is up to date with everything.

This horse has given me my confidence back after a horrendous fall off another horse. He deserves the best home. Horses like he do not come around often!

Clean set of x rays taken last week.

We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Weatherby's well bred TB mare - Natural horsemanship, Proven Broodmare, Quiet Companion

  • Excellent proven broodmare - Produced an incredible Connemara x TB by Josie Jump in 2024

For sale or loan from a private genuinely loving home, a pretty and sweet natured 15.2-15.3hh 16 y.o very well bred Weatherby's National Hunt ex racehorse Thoroughbred mare who has just been a mum for the last 6 years of her life. She has not been ridden / worked in any way for 6 years.

I may consider loaning her if she was kept in West Sussex

Now needs a new experienced home either as a proven broodmare or could potentially be brought back into lighter work with the right person. She did race, just didn't like it so she is ROR eligible.

She apparently did do a bit of show jumping and cross country in-between racing and being a mum before her current home where she has just been a broodmare for the last few years.

A video of her jumping hurdles can be seen in this advert below the description.

She would also make a nice natural horsemanship project or do some fun horse agility with.

She has been an incredible broodmare producing outstanding wonderful natured and strongly built offspring. Has taken first time both naturally and via AI. Foals easily and is a great mum, just knows her job well.

Produced a truly oustanding Connemara cross TB foal by the very sought after Josie Jump in 2024. Huge potential to produce the same again.

This mare is a very good do-er with NO HEALTH ISSUES and good barefoot kept hooves (professionally equine podiatrist trimmed). Upto date with vaccines, teeth rasping and is on a worming programme with consistantly clear worm tests.

She is used to being with mares and geldings but is scared of being bullied so needs quieter companions.

She is good to handle and transport.

Will only go to a 5 star loving and caring home with proper experience and knowledge of ex racehorse thoroughbreds!

Only still available due to a continuous stream of people lying to me about what they can actually offer for this mare. Please do not enquire about her unless you can genuinely provide the right experienced loving and caring home with proper facilities to keep such a horse. This will be checked.

Scammers will not be tolerated!

Please message me with any questions

Homebred gelding who is a substantial, traditional Connemara, combining quality and presence with a sensible outlook.

His sire is Maghera Fadda Lad (ex Abbyleix Owen/ Ardrivanna Andy) out of Clooneen Aibhilin (Island Lad/ Castleside Cardigan).

Leo is a much adored homebred, very well handled and very much part of the family.

He has three big, quality, straight paces, a kind and trusting temperament and eager to learn.

He won in the show ring as a yearling, then has had time to grow and mature, But also has been regularly handled.

This summer he has been started in his training and is long reining and lunging confidently. He has been backed and is at an exciting stage to now progress with his work. He is currently in work and will be riding away in the coming weeks.

He is an absolute joy to work with, takes everything in and very much has a can do attitude. He is fairly unfazed, and is based on a farm with everyday farm life and traffic surrounding him.

Excellent conformation, four square with decent bone.

Leo is a superb prospect to be a top class WHP, event, competition prospect or even for a PC future in time.

He has the very best start and is now ready to progress.

He is up to date with feet trimmed, Vacs and worming.

Must go to a 5* home, genuine reason for sale.

Please call for further info, no texts thank you. I have video I can WhatsApp
