Stormy is a 17.1, 8 year old ISH, by Royal Storm.

looking for a new owner to love and adore him like I have the last 4 years.

He produces a great dressage test, always in the high 20s low 30s at BE.

Bold and scopey on the XC course, jumped 100 in training. Has jumped up to 1m at home SJ however is more comfortable 80 when competing. Is lazy when it comes to poles and will roll a few.

Loves going to camps, training days, beach, has hunted and enjoyed it, safe and sane on fun rides!

I believe he would be a great team chaser, dressage horse or a great all rounder like he has been for me. Would suit a confident teenager, not a complete novice due to his size however he is super easy to do! Will hunt also.

Hacks alone and in company and is quiet and easy to ride, my partner has ridden him and never rode in his life.

Great to shoe, box, tack up; he’s just an easy horse to have around! Love a fuss, cuddles and will stand for hours with his favourite human.

Texas is happy whether rode every day or jumped on once a month, he never changes. He schools beautifully in a nice soft outline, good mouth and has been professionally and slowly produced. Capable now of a good dressage test or a show ring.

He loves to go out hacking either alone or in company, he doesn’t change on a huge open field and never gets strong.

He has been in same home since a yearling, always been very well loved and never had any bad experiences, he’s excellent to catch, load, clip, farrier (barefoot) for vet and dentist, up to date with worming and vaccines etc

He’s very low mileage, totally clean legs, no vices, beautiful manners in and out of the stable, turns out alone or with geldings, and a bit of a wimp in the field too so causes no problems and respects all fencing.

We are looking for a kind all rounder
To have fun with confident teenage daughter. Competing sj, a little xc, arena eventing, ode etc
And to enjoy hacking with experienced mum escorting out the kids and hacking through the quiet countryside, moors and woods. As well as some riding club activities, lessons and clinics.

Would love something with a fairly honest jump and that isn’t too sharp. Can be younger if level headed attitude or older maybe needing a step down. It will be a varied fun life.

Must be good in traffic although our lanes are quiet we do meet the odd tractor. We have a trailer so must be happy to travel in one.

In return we can offer a loving , experienced home at our own indoor stables with lots of turnout, with just our other horses. We have great riding and are just down from Dartmoor. Our horses want for nothing and we are happy to meet any extra needs. We find it hard to sell on so we hope the right horse will stay with us forever.

Conk is as kind as they come and a pleasure to have around. He raced over hurdles but was too slow to be competitive, came out of racing sound and happy.
He is now owned by a young lady who has enjoyed hunting, hacking and a bit of schooling with him but due to a change of her circumstances, he is looking for a new rider to have fun with.

He is a dream to look after at home,
He’s very good to clip, good with the farrier (had new shoes yesterday- March 14th- , farrier did him by himself, with ease).
He is super hacking alone and in company, not silly/ spooky or nappy and good with traffic. Can ride and lead and he leads well off another horse.
Loads and travels well in trailer and lorry. He has consistent, mild stinghalt in both hind legs, but doesn’t seem affected by this and hasn’t had any lameness issues during racing and the 2 seasons hunting he’s enjoyed with his owner. He’s happy to live in or out, easy to manage on the yard, not a stressy type.

He is an intelligent trainable type who works nicely in an outline and will give anything a go. He could take to either dressage, showjumping or eventing or continue to give enjoyable days on the hunting field.

He has spent the last few years in a field doing not a lot at all apart from eating and being fussed due no fault of his own. He is a little bit nervy at times, but has seen lots of farm machinery and not batted an eye.

In the last few months when time has allowed I have long lined and starting him back into work, he has been sat on but due to time we just have not been able to do much more, however we will keep plugging away when we have a spare 5 minutes for him.

With this in mind he is for sale as he is and think a one on one home would suit him best, he is a sweet natured and easy horse to have on the yard, loads and travels well, loves fuss, good to clip, good with farrier.
