Meet Queenie - It’s time for Queenie to find her next best friend

Queenie is a stunning 16.1hh, 7-year-old Shire × Irish Sport Horse mare, with a lovely middleweight stamp. She is a forward-going but safe ride, giving her rider confidence and enjoyment in everything she does.

She loves to hunt, jumping or non hunting , happily hacks for hours either alone or in company, and is sensible and mannerly on the roads.

Queenie also enjoys popping a jump and moves well, with the potential to produce a very nice dressage test with a bit more flatwork.

Sadly for sale our lovely gentleman. Irish Draught X gelding.

Bought for a teenage girl he has never once put a foot wrong, a really lovely sort with a great attitude.

There is no job this boy won’t do, he has a lovely scopey jump, he is incredible XC and gives you a really lovely feel around a course, maintaining a lovely natural rhythm and never ever being rude or strong.

He has beautiful flat work and naturally floaty paces so would certainly suit a dressage or eventing home.

He is amazing to hack alone or in company in the busiest of traffic and never gets silly or naughty with large vehicles or in open spaces.

He is perfect to clip/load, shoe, travel, at shows etc

A really lovely all round superstar who deserves the very best of homes

Can be mareish in the stable but nothing nasty. Has got a sarcoid inside of both hind legs but never been an issue ( reflected in price ) would consider dropping price further for right home

Choccy is a 15.2hh Dark Bay 7yr Connemara gelding.

Tullykyne Prince x Dunlewey Goshawk

N/N HWSD

An outstanding model of a Connemara.

We imported him last year as a late starter and have produced him along.

He has 3 correct paces and shows a good jump. More of a leg on type than a sharp one.

Has hunted and was mannerly in the field and sensible standing and jumped well.

Started competing at SJ and been placed. Although Green shows a useful jump and jumps fillers etc.

Competed at first dressage test where he was incredibly mannerly. Having never seen whiteboards he tried very hard. Is starting to work in a better frame.

Very bold XC jumped everything with style and showed plenty of quality and scope. Ditches, water, steps all no problem for this chap.

Will make a lovely WH/BE/BS prospect in time. Snaffle mouth.

Hacks alone and in company.

Upto date with teeth, physio, vaccinations.

Was vetted prior to import. No medical history.

Stunning looks and friendly on the ground.

Due to him being a late starter he isn’t for a novice rider as still requires schooling he is no Valegro yet! But is ridden and competed by children.

Izzy is a part bred Welsh mare who has been in the same home with us for the past nine years. She is a really nice natured mare and loves to please. Clean limbed, very attractive mare with showing bloodlines. She has done all round activities with me including unaffiliated dressage (typically scores 65-75%) show jumping and cross country (BE80 tracks). Dressage judges love her.

She enjoys pleasure rides, prefers to hack in company but I have hacked her alone since I've had her. We have off road hacking so I can’t comment on what she would be like in traffic. She is good to shoe, clip and catch. For travelling she is better loading onto a lorry than a trailer but will load onto a trailer with a training halter (she has always travelled in a trailer with me). She travels well on both.

Genuine reason for sale. She is better with unrestricted turn out and shelter and for this reason I won't sell her to a home with limited turn out. She is currently coming back in to work after a winter break. She is a kind mare but not for absolute novices. Happy to discuss her past veterinary history.

Izzy would suit a home for general all round activities, hacking, and veteran showing. Homes will be checked for suitability and good home is more important than price. Price to include some rugs and tack is available by separate negotiation. Based near Thetford Forest.

A much-loved 16hh ISH black mare, 13 years old, owned by us for the past 3 years. Thelma was originally purchased for our very tall 12-year-old (now 15) and has been a genuine, kind partner throughout her time with us.

She has been kept at a professional competition livery yard and previously had one long-term home, where she was ridden and competed by an amateur adult alongside a 5* event rider.

Thelma is well schooled on the flat and produces a lovely dressage test, showing real quality and consistency. She hacks out confidently both alone and in company, is excellent in traffic, and happily goes around roads and open fields. She has even been ridden out by our second, younger daughter (11).

She has previously enjoyed success as an eventer however we feel she would be far happier in a home who loves dressage and enjoys hacking. Potential for the show ring.

Thelma is a fun smiley character, who is looking for her next long-term home.

I am just beginning my search for a trustworthy, best friend type to welcome to our kind, knowledgeable, family home. Our horses are treated as part of our family & they receive the absolute best of care. I would be happy to provide references & to keep in touch.

I have ridden for several years & consider myself a knowledgeable & capable rider. However, due to ongoing health issues with my horse, who is now retired, I haven’t ridden as consistently in more recent years & so I am no longer as confident as I once was. Therefore, I am seeking a laid back, best friend type, who does not need riding most days to remain safe & sane.

We will be enjoying fun hacks from home, attending organised pleasure rides, forest trips, XC schooling & some clinics…. maybe the odd local show in future - but just for fun! I will often be hacking alongside my young daughter on her (sometimes quirky!) horse, so it is especially important that I find a level-headed, trustworthy type who I can depend on. Due to us going out in our horsebox regularly, I would like to find a horse who is good to load / travel &, most importantly, who remains calm & polite to handle & ride in different environments.

Our horses are kept at home with us on a quiet yard. I would love to find a gentle natured, polite character & a true best friend type.

We live in a rural area & although we generally meet very little traffic, when we do, it is often likely to be a tractor/farm vehicle. Therefore, it is hugely important that my new horse is confident around this type of traffic.

* I do appreciate that no horse is ‘perfect’ & that ‘bombproof’ does not exist & I am open to compromise but please do just be honest about any possible known ‘issues’ as I will not buy unseen & would want to have any potential horse vetted *

We are based in Norfolk so ideally looking for something in or around East Anglia but would travel further if plenty of info, videos/photos could be provided beforehand. I have a sensible budget & very relaxed & loving forever home for the right horse.

Looking for a kind, knowledgeable home for a handsome 9-year-old Thoroughbred gelding who thrives on one-to-one attention and a quieter lifestyle.

Midnight is a striking horse with a lovely presence. Having previously been in more active work, he is at his happiest mooching around the lanes and having a canter up the track! He would be best suited to a hacking home where he can enjoy exploring the countryside, building a strong partnership with his rider. Endurance could definitely be an option for him!

He hacks out willingly both alone and in company, and is forward going without being silly. He is sensible in open spaces, good in traffic, doesn’t buck or rear and is always ridden in a snaffle. He has been to the beach and behaved impeccably; he is safe and suitable for these types of day out.

On the ground, he is friendly and enjoys being fussed over. He has good stable manners and is generally easy to handle day-to-day.

Midnight would suit a competent rider who understands the breed and can provide him with a consistent routine. He is not suitable for novices, busy yards and competition/hunt/team chase environments.

Midnight is a genuine, sweet boy, looking for a quieter pace of life where he can be appreciated and cared for, whilst building a strong bond with ‘his person’. He very much takes confidence from his rider.

Serious enquiries only - the right 5 star home is the absolute priority. References will be required.

Talented and versatile mare with three correct, uphill paces and a lovely way of going on the flat. She is working nicely and showing great potential across all disciplines.

She is confidently jumping courses of 90/100 and is proving to be bold and willing. Has also been out to fun rides/hunting and has been XC schooling, where she has taken everything in her stride.

She hacks both alone and in company and is good to handle in all aspects including travelling, clipping, good to catch, shoeing etc.

Would suit a riding club home for someone wanting to enjoy a bit of everything, but she equally has the ability to progress in eventing, showjumping, or dressage.

Sunny has been an amazing first horse for my daughter but now they want different things and it’s time to find him someone new to love him.

He is safe hacking alone or in company, travels well in a box or trailer, perfect for the vet, farrier, physio and dentist, good at stay away shows an easy boy to have around.

We have attended PC events - twice going to the Regional Champs winning his dressage class last year, BS Academy and BE Youth training, RC Champs, as well as fun rides.

He had some sensitivity in his back so I had X-rays done which showed no issues, he is low milage for his age and has plenty left to give.

Has been out doing eventing at 80 and SJ 90.

A genuine sad sale.

Suileen The Farmers Daughter , 16hh 4yr old registered Irish draught mare by Tors Gentleman Farmer out of class 1 dam Suileen Pippy (Fintan Himself). A seriously quality model , well put together with a stunning head.

Would be suitable for a mother daughter share / low level alrounder / riding club / happy hacker / potential hunter.

Suli was brought over from Ireland last summer , and has been with us for a few months now. We’ve broken her in ourselves , we’ve taken plenty of time with her and produced her with a future of being a general alrounder in mind. She has a lovely temperament , very willing to learn and enjoys her work. Suli has been hacking alone and in company , she’s very good in traffic , has seen big traffic and farm machinery around the yard. She’s brave and bold. Good in open spaces. Her flatwork is coming on well , she has 3 nice balanced paces. Popped a fence a handful of times , we haven’t really pushed the jumping yet but she is proving to be willing.

Has been to an arena hire now and xc schooling. Went out for her first time away from home on her own and didn’t put a foot wrong. Super easy to load and travel in the trailer , easy to mount and handle away from home. Schooled sweetly in a new arena and then popped round her first xc fences showing a willing attitude and good shape over solid fences. She is bold as brass. Ready to enjoy the summer and be produced on further.

Sulli was super easy to clip , shoe , have her teeth done etc , she’s good to load and travel. Needs a bit more work with the hose pipe ! Please no novices or nervous riders , she is still young and needs producing further. No vices. Serious enquiries only , I don’t have time to do endless viewings as relying on staff at the moment.

7500 for hopefully a relatively hassle free sale ! Bargain for a horse of her quality.

Will hack out in the heaviest of traffic and isn’t phased. She isn’t keen on school work and just switches off no harm him her what so ever she’s just is a cob that prefers going hacking and pleasure rides then going round and round in the school.

She is a lovely mare and good to handle on the ground.

The real deal Clydesdale gelding , 16yo, approx 16.3/17hh

‘Denzil’ has been in the same home the past 9 years and been an extremely valued and loved member of the family. He is only being sold due to other commitments and health issues leaving him without that time he really deserves.

Extremely good doer with no vices. He became the yard favourite from the very day he stepped into our yard. Loves affection, stands all day to be clipped , bathed , tacked up etc! Golden to catch and handle on the ground in all ways. Loads and travels perfectly. Lives in or out , very low maintenance.

Denzil has taught several people to ride however isn’t completely a ‘kick kick kick ‘ type. He loves being out and about and can be forward when enjoying himself. Always in a snaffle and totally safe and sane. Currently giving lessons to my 8 year old daughter and being adored here as one of our own

Works well in the school in all three paces. A nice leg in each corner type and anyone’s ride. Will pop logs and small fences etc. My yard girls are currently enjoying taking him on woodland rides and nannying our breakers out on the roads.

Superb in the heaviest of traffic , can be seen on our very busy 60mph main road without any bother!

Denzil has been well hunted , enjoyed many a fun ride, as well as riding club events and heaps of hacking and fun with his current owners.

Good with vet and dentist , up to date with everything with no previous health issues. Denzil does have mild sweet itch that can be easily managed.

Denzil is a very sought after type , a family home is desired where he can be a member of your family. Come and meet him and let him do the talking!

Rosie is a fun, forward-going mare who enjoys her work and is always keen to get on with a job.

She has previously done plenty of show jumping, dressage and hunting in her last home. Since being with us she has been out hunting a few times towards the end of the season, as well as fun rides, beach rides, cross country schooling and pub rides.

Hunting, she has been out with the Coakham Bloodhounds and Staff College. She stands quietly at the meet, will stand on or tied to the lorry, is keen when going and will jump everything with or without a lead. She then stands nicely at the end of the lines and will practically load herself to come home.

Cross country schooling, she is thoroughly enjoyable and will go over everything – water, ditches, hedges, timber and skinnies.

She has plenty of experience show jumping up to 80/90cm unaffiliated.

She loves hacking, is good in traffic and in open spaces. She is again keen and enjoys her work, but is still a safe ride.

Rosie would suit an experienced, confident teenager or small adult who enjoys a forward ride, jumping and faster work. She would not suit a nervous novice rider.

She would make a fabulous ladies hunter and would also do a field mastering job.

No stable vices.
Full history known, previous owner would love to stay in contact if allowed.

Sad sale of lovely mare due to her losing her best friend of 14 years to old age and now her time has come to find her new person.

Being sold as a project from the field. Over the past 14 years she has been an on and off nanny for her best friend out hacking, when her friend retired a few years ago she became a companion to her. Last hacked out around 4 years ago, had tack on and walked around field around 3 years ago.

Looking for an experienced person to re-start her and give her a job to do, she thrives in work and gets better and better the more she does. Feel she will excel once formed a 1:1 relationship with someone.

Excellent breeding, her full brother is 'Sea Summer Bay' who has evented up to CCI-S 4*

Never sick or sorry, lives on fresh air, currently living out and is barefoot. Up to date with vaccinations (July), worm egg count (April) and teeth (September). Currently turned out with mares and around geldings, like all horses she needs company around her.

Very important that she finds a loving home to give her the time and attention she deserves.
