  • MOVES BEAUTIFULLY. Exceptional scope. The kindest , most gentle horse to do

Poppy is a true gem of a slightly overgrown pony. She has three utterly beautiful paces. Produced slowly by us for the last year she has done a bit of everything including showing, eventing, dressage, show jumping, pony club and loves to hack out alone or in company.

Her last three dressage scores eventing have been sub 30’s and she’s been placed at each unaff event we’ve done with her always jumping clear xc and proving VERY brave. She is not phased by any filler , water tray etc. we have also done the workers with her. And some coloured flat showing, she is CHAPS reg and was 5th at RWHS in very good company with lovely comments from the judges.

She’s been competing at 90, but ready to step up now to 100’s.

A loving home is paramount as we adore this little mare.

Only for sale as she doesn’t have quite enough timber for the workers which is our daughters main discipline.

Would suit a pc home and a varied life.

She’s forward going but safe.

Beautiful 7 year old Irish TB mare by Califet.

UN-trained and UN-raced we are told. Imported from Ireland 3 months ago.

Super breeding including prestigious German lines .

A really well put together little mare who carries good condition and with a show hack type presence.

Has been used for light hacking and furthering her flat work knowledge in the time we have had her. Still green due to very low miles on her clock for her age, and is ready for someone to continue her education and have a lot of fun with. She's inexperienced in jumping but has wonderful technique and natural ability as per video.

Light mouthed, not strong or silly. Canters in open spaces with others sensibly

No sarcoids or known health issues.

Shod all round, however can be tricky but improving.

Wormed, teeth done and back checked.

The video is from earlier this year in Ireland.

We are based Mid -Wales. School Facilities to try her out on site. Fitted 'Ideal' Saddle available as extra.

Unexpected sale due to change of circumstances, as she was to be a keeper.

2024 Homebred Filly | TB × Maxi Cob
Standing approx 15.1hh, expected to make around 16–16.2hh

Honey is my own homebred filly and she is absolutely stunning! 😍 She has beautiful, flashy movement combined with the most wonderful temperament and has all the makings of a very smart allrounder in time.

She is incredibly well handled and genuinely more Labrador than mare! ❤️ She absolutely loves people, attention, scratches and being groomed, and is always desperate to be involved in whatever you’re doing.

✨ Honey has been exceptionally well handled from day one:
* Loads beautifully from a loose lead, either side of a lorry, alone or with others
* Stands happily tied with or without hay
* Good for the farrier
* Happy to be clipped
* Regularly seen by the dentist and has been bitted
* Excellent with the vet and fully vaccinated
* Regularly seen by the physio alongside our ridden horses
* Loves water and being hosed
* Good with fly spray, both tied and loose
* Used to rugs and fly masks
* Leads out in hand alone or in company
* Moves away from pressure nicely
* Very inquisitive and loves having saddle pads, saddles and bridles put on when the others are being untacked 😂
* She is desperate to have a job!

Honey has had a few stronger seasons this year and, after the boys taking rather too much interest in her, she can occasionally be a little tense around her hind legs. She simply needs someone calm and clear who gives her a moment rather than rushing her.

She is a beautiful, genuine young horse who has had a fantastic start to life and has been handled and cared for properly throughout.

With her movement, size, temperament and presence, I think she is going to make an incredibly flashy allrounder in the future. 🍯✨

🏡 A really special home is wanted for this lovely girl.

  • 16hh Approx. 2013 Chestnut Irish Mare
  • Talented Allrounder | Showjumper | Eventer | Dressage Prospect

Ginger is a lovely quality Irish mare with a fantastic attitude and a wealth of experience. She is a forward-thinking, enjoyable ride who would suit a confident rider looking for a talented horse to enjoy across a variety of disciplines.

On the flat, Ginger works beautifully with three fluent paces and seamless transitions. She is a naturally forward ride and would certainly produce some lovely dressage tests in the right hands. She is not suitable for a novice rider, but for someone who enjoys a horse that goes willingly off the leg, she is great fun to ride.

Ginger is a brave, straightforward and careful showjumper. She has previously jumped up to 1.10m with her former owner and has all the attributes to continue progressing. She is honest to a fence and gives her rider plenty of confidence.

Her previous owner described her as the ultimate all-rounder, having turned her hoof to just about everything, including hunting, showjumping and general riding club activities. Unfortunately, she has proved a little too forward-going for a nervous rider, so we are now looking for a knowledgeable home where she can thrive with someone who enjoys a horse with a bit of engine. She is not sharp, silly or whizzy, she simply likes to get on with the job and can cover the ground well.

Ginger does make a respiratory noise when working. She has been fully scoped by our vet, with no clinical abnormalities found, and it is believed the noise is due to a slightly asymmetrical nostril. This does not affect her performance in any way and is reflected in her price. Veterinary report available to view.

A genuine, talented mare with plenty still to offer and the potential to excel in a variety of homes.

15hh, WB x TB, 12 year old bay mare for sale.

Looking for a confident, competent new owner to enjoy hacking adventures and maybe endurance rides. She doesn’t like schooling and isn't much of a jumper, she just really enjoys hacking out. I ride out on my own most of the time but on her own she can be a bit looky/twitchy (puddles, pigeons etc) and does occasionally whip round if something startles her. She looks to her rider for quiet confidence. Her rider must know when to give her a moment to process and when to encourage her forward.

If you want/need to hack out on your own and this is a problem, then she isn’t the horse for you. That said, she is fabulous in company. She won’t lead but will happily follow. She goes when you ask and stops when you ask (always in a snaffle) with the lightest of aids, isn’t lit up by other horses misbehaving, doesn’t nap if we see or pass other horses, will come away from the group if needed and doesn’t buck, rear or bolt. She is more contented in company, and I would say she would be suitable for more people if you plan to always ride in company as you don’t get most of the reactive moments, just all the fun. Group hacking is her forte, she’s an absolute delight.

She’s a sensitive, sweet, polite, cuddly mare. She’s good to catch and turn out, bath, good for the vet including jabs, farrier, physio etc. She’s up to date worm count, teeth, jabs. Lives in or out. Currently shod in front and enjoying it with the dry summer we’ve had (most of my hacking involves uneven stone tracks) but she has also been barefoot with me using hoof boots in front for hacking and that worked too in previous years. She’s ticklish to clip. I manage slowly with small, quiet clippers but others may prefer to simply sedate and crack on. She hasn’t been travelled much in the years I’ve had her, just a couple of yard moves and a farm ride. For those journeys she went in a trailer and a 3.5T and travelled well. She does like to take a few minutes on the ramp to check things out then she goes in.

For the reasons outlined above, no novices, please.

Call me old fashioned but I’m not up for hours of messaging. Please call, it saves confusion as I can give detailed answers plus I believe a call shows you are serious about finding a horse. I think a lot of this mare and I’m happy to answer all questions fully to ensure she ends up in the best of new homes with someone who will enjoy her as I have.

I’ve included a video of her lunging so you can see her move. I’m struggling to get help filming me riding but I did manage to capture some of our hack. It goes on a bit but I didn’t want to put forward a carefully edited brief clip so I just let it run on record so you could see a section of our ride.

Absolutely no payment plans, loans or LWVTB. Good fitting, comfy GP saddle available by separate negotiation.

What a serious Cob true to the stamp. Where do you find them like him any more?! This horse is 15Hh high and 15Hh wide - built exactly the right way.

What a quality animal. The pictures really DO NOT do this Cob any justice.

This animal you would see in the right dealers yard for 15-20K in my opinion. When they are this safe, size and quality - they are worth it.

Good to load, travel, shoe, bath - do in all ways. A proper gentle animal and great temperament.

Sad but genuine story behind this horse also. We had him direct from a family and I will discuss the story with genuine buyers. A good home is essential 👌🏡

Passported, and up to date on vaccs, teeth etc.

Any vetting welcome.

Lux is a genuine, affectionate horse with a lovely temperament who enjoys hacking and is always a pleasure to have around. He never fails to make us smile.

He is safe and sensible, while still being responsive and switched on.

Lux has plenty to offer someone wanting a genuine, kind horse to enjoy hacking with a view to low level competition.

He is not a novice ride and would suit a knowledgeable rider looking for a quality horse to cherish rather than initially compete.

Lux was originally bought to show jump, but unfortunately he suffered some mild ligament damage - happy to discuss this over the phone - he has been in work and sound since April.

Please message/ phone for more info, photos and videos.

GHD Picasso is our homebred handsome 15.2hh 4yr Irish Cob gelding. We think he will make a good 15.3hh.

Hacking out alone and in company, schooling in the arena and popping fences well, he is a natural jumper, very brave and has great scope. He has a lovely big open movement and is light on his feet.

Picasso has been away schooling in the lorry on a few occasions and take everything in his stride. He is straightforward to ride and level headed.

On the ground he is a pleasure, loves people and attention. He is a super type, unspoilt and ready to be brought on. He would make a super hunter, fun allrounder.

ALL THATS JAZZ

Jazz is a fun and forward allrounder, she is a keen horse who enjoys work so no novices as she can be excitable. Jazz was bought for my daughter when she was 14 and she has taught tons and improved her riding taking her from 80 to 100 coming off ponies. Jazz is very bold and will jump anything at any stride and will always keep her rider safe, she’s keen to a fence so needs someone confident and calm. Jazz schools nicely and can do changes and leg yields, however this was not my daughter’s thing. She is hacked alone most of the time and is good in all traffic and often nannie’s the youngsters. She is used to goats, dogs and cat running around the yard and is calm around farm machinery and lorries on the yard. Jazz is like a big dog on the ground and will just follow you around, she’s very polite and will just stand on the yard loose. Jazz is easy to load and travels well in a trailer or lorry. We’ve taken her to stay aways, camps, weekends ant the beach (she loves the sea!) and she has settled perfectly. She hasn’t been out jumping since last October due to a levels and holidays over the summer, but she has been kept in work so could happily go out straight away. My daughter can hack her alone after being unridden for a week and she’s no bother. Jazz is good to bring in and out. She can be fidgety to clip, though my daughter does it herself without sedation. She enjoys being out so turnout is a must, currently she’s in during the day and has individual turnout though previously was out with two other mares. Jazz is very loved so this is a very difficult sale so the right home is a must.

With Jazz my daughter has done everything and used to compete every weekend which is what Jazz loves. She is always in the placing when out.

Jazz would suit someone wanting to do a bit of everything though showjumping is her thing she also loves XC and is like a machine and would go all day if you let her, she loves life and needs someone who has time to enjoy her. Previously she was owned by an older woman who hacked her and she paid someone to compete her.

Jazz did have her hock injected a couple years ago, but she hasn’t had them done since and doesn’t affect her way of going at all. And she is still happily competing at 100. This can be discussed further if interested.

Jazz has a fitted Fairfax saddle and bridle which can be bought separately as well as many rugs. As my daughter won’t be needing them at university!

He has a wonderful personality, is affectionate, and loves attention.

Great to hack out alone or in company.

Seasoned traveller he is good to catch, load (3.5 never tried a trailer but I can’t see it being a problem) travel and will stand and wait in the box all day.

Good ground and stables manners. He is easy to catch, bath, clip, shoe and when having his teeth done.

This lovely boy is an experienced show jumper (newcomers), eventer (BE 100) but has spent the last 3 years with me, living his best life and participating in a lower level wide range of ridden activities including SJ, dressage, fun rides, camps.

Borris is not a novice ride so please no amateurs. He is a lot of horse and needs a confident rider to get the best out of him. He has enjoyed the slower life with me but don’t see why he couldn’t get back to competing with the right rider.

Very sad sale due to my daughter starting University in September we are looking for a new home for her lovely event horse, Glendew (Tinker). We have owned Tinker for nearly three years and she has taken my daughter from 100s to Novice level.

Tinker has successfully competed at 2* level going clear xc and is currently competing at 100 level with my daughter.

36 British Eventing points and 106 Foundation points

5 BE wins at 100, 105 or Novice

11 top ten at 100

7 top ten at Novice

£337 / 216 British Show Jumping points.

Tinker has taught my daughter so much and loves her job. She has done some BS with us successfully as well as NSEA with podium finishes at the Championships. She has beautiful paces and produces a lovely accurate dressage test. Very careful show jumping - any poles on her record are most likely rider error.

Tinker has also had a foal in 2018 and two ‘light’ non competitive years (August 21 - July 23) with a teenager who could not ride her due to ill health. She returned to her previous owner to be competed and sold on which is when we were lucky enough to find her. My daughter instantly gelled with her and took her to their first BE 100 two or three weeks after she came to us going double clear.

Highlights of their time together include

1st Blindley Heath U18 Open Novice

1st Wellington International U18 100 Open

2nd Munstead 100 Open

2nd Farley 100 Open

16th Aston Le Walls CCI1*

Numerous placings and wins at NSEA show jumping, Combined Training and Dressage. Won Pony Club Area Dressage. Wins at unaffiliated dressage, SJ and BS. Tinker would be ideal for Arena Eventing but has not done any with us.

Tinker is well behaved out hacking and very good in traffic (we hack on busy roads). She is part TB and a fit competition horse and whilst nearly all the time she is a schoolmaster hack and I totally trust her to take my 19yr old daughter hacking either on her own or with others, I would not put a very novice rider on her in case she got spooked - which is rare but could happen.

She currently has been living out at night and in during the day but has also lived out 24/7 all year with us. She prefers company so better in a yard with other horses but happily turned out alone or with others.

She loads perfectly in either a horse box or trailer - we have travelled her in both an EquiTrek and Ivor Williams trailer. Travelled in huge HGV lorry with previous owner! Travels to shows on her own or with another. Very good at stay away events.

Tinker currently has her hocks medicated approx every six months and her coffin joints every 12-18 months. This has worked well for her this season and is to be expected in an older competing horse.

Tinker also had a freak accident in our trailer in April 2025. We dont know what happened but she managed to get her hing leg over the partition. Initially it looked like superficial scrapes and swellings and after a couple of weeks off she came back into work. However last summer she was not happy jumping although sound. In September a firm lump began to appear on the outside of her left hind at top of cannon bone exactly where she had a previous injury. As it grew bigger we had it scanned and then X-rayed which revealed some small fragments of tissue within the lump. We believe she probably had a hair line fracture as the location was exactly where she had taken off the hair and skin during the accident in April. This would explain why she was not 100% last summer and reflected in her results. Late December 2025 she had surgery to remove the fragments followed by box rest and gradual build up from February back to full competition fitness. The lump (like a large splint) remains but causes no issues and it is high enough to fit boots etc without a problem.

Since Tinker started competing again in June she has been placed 2nd, 5th and 10th in Open 100s with clear steady XC rounds given the hard going.

We think Tinker would really suit a confident experienced young rider who wants to compete at 100 or Novice level eventing or to focus on pure show jumping up 120. She would be fast and turn quickly in jump offs but because our focus has been eventing my daughter has never ‘gone for the time’ in a jump off! She would also be a super mother daughter share and I ride her regularly including doing her fast work etc.

We are looking for a loving knowledgeable home where she will continue to event or focus on pure SJ. Ideal for BE U18s or a more mature rider looking to have fun. She would also be an amazing horse to take team chasing.

Serious enquiries only as her price reflects her medical history which I have been fully honest about and can discuss more. We absolutely love Tinker (aka Tinkerbell) and will only let her go to a knowledgeable home where we know she will be happy. Finances force this sale as we cannot afford livery near university - otherwise my daughter would love to continue to compete her if she could!!

We have lots more photos that can be sent. Due to personal injury (broken ankle) I need to find Tinker a new home ASAP as my daughter goes to University mid September and I am currently unable to ride. We are open to offers.

15.2hh 6yr old bay gelding. Performance bred by Greenacres Mirah (related to Ashfield Bobby Sparrow) out of a Pacino mare. Backed and slowly brought on by our teenage daughter he is an absolute gem to have around, with such a nice temperament and outlook to life.

He has done a little jumping training and had a few outings and enjoyed some clinics with a family friend, who has borrowed him over the summer to enjoy. Hacks out really well and has had some experience with heavy traffic when liverying at a previous yard with us.

Now ready for someone to put their final stamp on him, he will make a fantastic all-rounder. Only for sale as our daughter has secured an apprenticeship and can’t commit to him full time. Will only consider someone looking for a long term partnership with him. A special horse with a unique character, even likes a game of football!

Has a small blemish on hind leg which was there when we purchased him 3 years ago and passed vetting. Open to vetting.

Please call after 4pm

Amazing 9 year old 15.2 ISH with huge potential in the right hands.

She’s done all pony club activities and competitions and have competed unaffiliated. She is joy to have around. You cannot find a kinder mare. She can be left for a week or two without being fresh and silly and is very happy and safe to be ridden. Would be an very good mother daughter/son share.

A huge amount of time and effort has been put into flatwork. As a result she is a lovely ride and has a very powerful jump with lots of scope. She is fit and ready to go.

Loads and travels into our horse box without any issues. She’s been in bigger lorries and travels without issues. She’s travelled in trailers without issues. Stays in the horse box at shows without issues.

We have owned her for just over 3 years and had no issues letting our daughter ride and look after her completely on her own from the age of 13.

Shehas been hunting a couple of times and loved it. She was forward and followed the other horses but still safe.

She loves her crosscountry.

Hacks alone or in company. Can go first or last or in the middle. She’s a really easy horse to have around.

Very sad sale due to rider injury (skiing accident).

Very eye catching palomino and white Irish mare, 15.2hh, age 6. Hana was purchased as a yearling in Ireland and has been in the same home since then.

She has spent time hacking in North Wales and attended fun rides and a few shows there. She is now with me on behalf of her owner to sell.

She has taken to the school fantastically and shows real promise. Lovey mouth and three rhythmical paces, Recently started some jumping and she is really enjoying this.

A real gem to handle and do. Good to catch, clip, shoe (only has fronts on), load, bath etc... She is very loved but is surplus to requirements. Great in traffic and machinery.

Currently kept on a very busy competition yard and taking it all in her stride. Moves straight, no lumps, bumps or vices.

More whoa than go in the school but equally not a complete slug. A really nice sort.
