  • Ramiro Z bloodlines

17.2hh 18yo warmblood x gelding. Has previously hunted including whipping in and in his youth been a masters horse. Also competed in dressage, showjumping, eventing, and pony club activities.

He is a big impressive looking horse who gets compliments everywhere he goes! He loves attention and will stand for hours for a pamper and a cuddle!

He is ridden by the whole family and is a horse that does not need riding everyday and will be the same after a week off.

He has three lovely paces on the flat.

He is now looking for a quieter life to enjoy hacking, training shows, hunter trials, a pamper, just a non competitive life!

He is fit and able to compete but i would rather him now go to someone that is going to enjoy his golden years.

He is good to shoe, load (will stand on the lorry for hours), is good on the ground, but needs some time and patience to clip without sedation.

He is brilliant in traffic and hacks alone or in company.

Please do not let his age put you off, he’s a spring chicken at heart!!

He is a big quality horse so please no novices as we want a 5* home for him.

Womble
16.2hh
Cob
Massive weight carrier
Kind, Calm, Loving Chap

Womble is an impressive 16.2hh weight carrying cob, with a loving temperament and calm disposition. He is easy to handle on the ground and under saddle and is always well mannered.

Womble was purchased at 3 years old, turned out to mature, then professional broken at 3 years 10 months he was then introduced to the riding school setting where he was ridden by staff and competent clientele, he was a quick learner and settled into this very busy environment without any problems, he participated in our group and private lessons, working on the flat, over poles and progressed quickly onto lateral work, small coloured and rustic fences, although still relatively green in the school, he was eager to learn, though new to poles and certain ridden exercises, he approaches each new task with a genuine willingness and calm disposition. He is not spooky, spiny, sharp, strong or reactive—just still developing his understanding. As a blank canvas, he offers the perfect opportunity for an independent rider to guide his progress and help shape his education. With time and consistency, he shows promise in working in a soft outline, he is developing good balance, lateral movement, and responsiveness to aids. He also continued to improve over small fence and log with quiet enthusiasm.

Womble hacks out confidently alone or in company and is entirely unfazed by the most challenging environments. He remains calm when faced with heavy traffic, including buses, tractors, lorries, and large agricultural machinery. He will wait patiently at roundabouts or traffic lights and never reacts with fear or tension. On open ground, he stays composed at all paces, whether leading, following, or riding solo. He never pulls, rushes, or attempts to overtake—even when returning home.

His exceptional manners extend to every aspect of handling. Womble is easy to catch, groom, bath, load, clip, and handle for the vet, dentist, and farrier. He currently lives barefoot but has previously been shod and is comfortable with either. He stands quietly for long periods without any restraint, happily enjoying being groomed and pampered. Children regularly lead and handle him without issue, and he will calmly stand at the mounting block until the rider is comfortably in the saddle.

More recently, he has begun to show a dislike for arena work. I believe this is largely due to the amount of schooling he has been asked to do, with very little variety. As a result, he has become a little stale and reluctant to go forward in the arena, unfortunately we have limited hacking facilities, so arena work is prominently where we ride, as we don’t have access to bridleways—only grass verges alongside roads or extremely busy roads. Initially we felt that focusing on arena schooling would be the best approach however in hindsight a variation would have been more beneficial.

Womble absolutely thrives when hacking out and continues to perform exceptionally well, even in heavy, fast-moving traffic. He takes busy and challenging road environments in his stride and continues to excel in these situations. I feel he would really benefit from a break from arena work. However, as we are a riding school, arena work is our 1st point of call.
Unfortunately Womble is not earning his keep, hence the reduced price.

Womble is a genuine confidence-giver who can be left unridden for weeks or even months and still be safe and consistent when brought back into work. He is incredibly low maintenance. He has never suffered from laminitis, sweet itch, sarcoids, or lameness, and has passed all annual riding school inspections with flying colours (equivalent to a Stage 2 vetting).

He currently lives out at night in a large mixed herd and stabled during the day but is equally content stabled or turned out full time, he is happy to be stabled / turned out solo, he is not clingy at all, he absolutely loves people and attention and adores a cuddle. He is quiet, independent, and never causes trouble in the field or stable. Being sold on behalf of a working livery.

Serious enquiries only. Please call or WhatsApp for more information or to arrange a viewing.

Iva is a super smart 15’3hh bay 14yo standard bred mare.

She is safe and sensible, and loves her hacking. We have done some light schooling and showjumping with Iva but it is not her forte. She’s happy to do it, but much prefers hacking then going around in circles.

However having said that someone could put some work into her schooling and jumping and get a lovely allrounder.

She has seen all types of traffic and has been solid as a rock on the roads, she’s great to go across fields and big open spaces. She will happily hack alone, or in company. She is snaffle mouthed and a really kind and genuine mare.

Iva is up to date with everything, vaccinations, teeth, worming, shoes. Shes great to catch, shoe, box and travel. She did need sedation to clip over the winter but I feel over time she will be fine to do with someone patient.

We are looking for a hacking home for Iva, or even an endurance home.

She is suitable for most riders but no novice or nervous people, we want her to go to a someone half experienced for her own sake.

She really deserves a great home where she will be loved forever. She will make someone very very happy.

Iva is with us on sales livery

Based near Badminton

07888 675407 phone conversation will need to be had to check suitability and not waste anyone’s or Iva’s time.

Opal

A lovely 16’2 9yr old TB Mare (never been in training or raced Not a Ror)

Very sad sale happy to explain further if required,

Opal is a lovely well mannered lady on the ground.

She has been in a hacking / a bit of hunting home for the past 4/5 years.

She has three good paces on the flat she is a bit green but very willing and enjoys the schooling.

Lovely bold jump! With a nice amount of scope, she’s a lot of fun.

Has seen hounds and is good with them.

Good in traffic out hacking, good in company but is a bit green on her own but nothing bad!

Good to load - Good to clip - All up to date vacs and teeth

She would be suitable for riding club or low level at the moment you never know she might surprise you in the long run!

Would make a nice mother daughter or older teenager type.

Not a novice horse due to being a bit green in the schooling.

For sale on behalf of owner

Saddle is included in the price

Horse of a Lifetime- Golden Delight

Golden Delight (Millie) combines the rare combination of presence and talent with a lovely safe and easy temperament making her the perfect horse for ambitious amateur rider.

She has 3 expressive, powerful paces and is a forward ride and lovely soft snaffle mouth. Millie is low milage as she has been allowed to grow into her frame and is therefore a little green for her age.

She still needs to learn to balance herself at times and currently needs her rider to help her stay connected, but she is a quick learner and loves her schooling.

She shows real ability to both collect and take the weight behind and extend and has potential for the higher levels. She is very focused and does not spook in the arena.

Millie has seen coloured fences and is bold and honest to a jump but she has not done much jumping and her forte is dressage.

Millie is good to hack out alone and in company and is polite and controllable in open spaces. Millie was imported from Ireland and could have very well hunted their but we have no proof of this. She does show all the attributes to be a top class hunter as she is not marish or bothered by other horses close to her. She also would be a fantastic horse for fun/beach rides etc.

Millie is polite and easy to handle, good to catch, box, shoe, clip etc; she is a kind and friendly mare who loves people.

She really is a horse of a lifetime for the right person and is only very sadly for sale due to current owners ongoing back problem. Not for someone very novice or nervous as she does have an engine and big movement.

Millie has some very small sarcoids on her inner thigh that have not changed over the last year. She also has a heart murmur that has been fully investigated by a cardiologist is not of any concern. Report is available to confirm this. This is reflected in price.

Carriga lady - super loving mare.

Happy hacking, Bay 2021 Irish sports horse mare. (Connie x draft) 15hh / 148cm. 5 year old.

Carrie hacks out alone, perfectly straight into busy traffic and over the moor. She goes straight into water no matter how deep and will pop a ditch. She is fantastic to hack and just has a very safe, sane and sensible temperament. I’ve hacked her past all kinds of farm animals and even straight beside the shooting club while they were shooting and she didn’t event flinch! (Lots of videos from behind the ears). She’s the definition of happy hacker!

In the school she is very green and is still learning where her legs go but she really wants to please and tries. She’s just a bit unsure what you’re asking for and can baby rush into canter. She will need a patient and confident rider to further her schooling as she can rush forward if you get unbalanced on her but she doesn’t take off, just a few steps. She’s just sensitive to your weight and leg, being young and green and likely only schooled a very small number of times. Having said that if you ask her to pop a x pole she’ll happily try her very best, never stopping or running out. She just needs time and education but has the best attitude.

She fab to catch, load, brush, shoe and tack up.

Carrie is such a sweet and kind mare. She loves a cuddle and will stand all day to be groomed. If she’s not sure about anything she’s just takes a small bit of rider encouragement and then tries her best. She never naps, bucks or rears or has her own ideas she just stops and has a look and goes on once you tell her it’s ok. She’s just an all around lovely type who will make a fantastic riding club or mother / daughter share / all rounder prospect with the right education.

We have an arena and easy hacking for any trials.

Beauty
16hh ISH Mare – Genuine All-Rounder

A super kind and unflappable mare, ideal for a novice rider who is cantering. She has a wonderfully forgiving nature, the type you can happily ride bareback, even backwards, and trust completely. She has previously looked after a complete beginner, being ridden bareback in a headcollar, and proved herself to be patient and reliable in all handling.

A sweet, compact mare with a lovely temperament.

She is a pleasure to jump, always committing to a fence and giving her rider confidence. She would be an excellent horse for someone looking to progress and learn. A real Xc machine who thoroughly enjoys her job.

Has been very successful out competing with a teenage rider, winning in both show jumping and arena eventing. Only for sale as her current rider was ready for the next step up.

Easy and straightforward on the flat, ridden in a snaffle. A comfortable ride with a secure, “wrap your legs around” feel.

Good in open spaces and hacks both alone and in company.

Very easy to manage, loves attention and is extremely low maintenance. Settles well in a herd environment.

Beauty is the ultimate allrounder and would cater for many. Perfect first horse for someone fresh out of a riding school or maturer rider wanting a genuine and consistent horse that is reliable on the daily.

Maesmynis Tywysog Willy Wonka (William)
Is a truly stunning model of a horse, oozing presence and turning heads wherever he goes. This striking young horse has all the attributes to succeed at the very highest level and is undoubtedly a HOYS potential champion.

Professionally broken, William’s natural physique, energy, and expressive paces come effortlessly to him. He has been given excellent foundations, coupled with the intelligence to learn quickly and a calm, relaxed outlook on life—an exceptional combination in a horse of this quality.

At just 4 years old, William shows the maturity of a horse far beyond his years. He is incredibly laid-back, safe, and kind—a true gentleman in every sense. He is unphased by new environments or situations, taking everything in his stride with confidence and boldness. He is not sharp, spooky, or nervous, and has never bucked, reared, bitten, or kicked. William has no Welsh quirks whatsoever. He is genuinely one of the safest and kindest horses you could wish to meet.

William is safe enough for a complete beginner child and has been lightly used in a riding school environment, where he has proven to be exceptionally reliable. He will happily walk along on the lead rein with the smallest of complete beginner riders, be ridden solo off the lead rein by a complete novice holding the handle if required, he responds fantastically to the voice commands enabling the most nervous inexperience riders to walk, trot and canter safely and confidently, William always looks after his riders, automatically slowing down if they become unbalanced or lose a stirrup.

William has participated in our group and private lessons, he loves to jump and is not phased by the scariest of fillers, water jump, cross country courses. He has exceptional paces and moves lightly in your hands with elegance and style, making him a graceful and chic dressage contender.

However due to his outstanding quality, movement, and potential, William would be completely wasted in a riding school setting. He was originally purchased for this purpose, but it is clear he deserves the opportunity to excel in a competitive home. He is a blank canvas with solid foundations and would thrive in dressage, showjumping, working hunter classes, or at the top level in showing—both under saddle and in-hand.

With his attitude, movement, and overall outlook, he has all the attributes to develop into a very smart ridden horse and versatile all-rounder suitable for a range of disciplines.
Never strong, ridden on light contact, snaffle mouth, no gadgets, easy to do, to, perfect confirmation, has a glass like coat in the summer and very little in winter.

William is the epitome of a safe, kind, and genuine horse. With impeccable manners both on the ground and under saddle, he is eager to please and a pleasure to work with. He truly will give his all to his next new owners.

William is incredibly adaptable and would suit a wide range of riders. He is safe enough for a complete beginner with no experience, making him an ideal mother-and-daughter share or a perfect partner for Pony Club and low-level competitions. At the same time, his outstanding quality and potential mean he could equally excel as a top-class contender at the most prestigious events.

Unbelievably safe hacking through the most heaviest traffic imaginable he has recently seen double deckers buses, articulated lorries, motorbikes Push bikes, prams, dogs, farm machinery and he doesn’t look twice. The video provided was the first time we had introduced him to our very busy roads adjacent to the Riding School.

He will happily canter across open fields solo or in a group at the front, middle or back of the ride, he never rushes tries to overtake or goes too fast. He will pull up immediately on command and stand while the rest of the ride canter away from him.
He is truly 1 in a million.

Exceptional manners with the Farrier (currently shoed) Dentist, Vet, load, Travel, groom, bath, catch.

No vices whatsoever, clean limbs, no sarcoids, sweet itch, laminitis no lumps or bumps.

Only genuine enquiries, please call / WhatsApp for more information/ viewing availability.

Thore – 16.2hh Bay Irish Sports Horse x Warmblood Gelding, 12 Years

Thore is a handsome 16.2hh bay gelding looking for his next partner. A lovely natured boy with plenty to offer, he is an enjoyable and straightforward ride for someone wanting a genuine all-rounder.

He is easy to school and works nicely on the flat. Thore hacks alone or in company, but when others prefers not to be at the front. When out for a gallop he can be strong.

He has been out to cross-country hire and arena hire, where he behaved brilliantly and took everything in his stride. He is never silly or over-excitable in new environments. Thore enjoys his jumping, although he benefits from a confident rider who will ride him into a fence.

A genuine, kind horse with a lot to like, Thore would suit a confident rider looking for a fun and capable horse to enjoy a variety of activities with.

Gary - Via Galactica - is a 16hh, TB, Gelding, grandson to Galileo. He only ran once on the flat and he's just not a racehorse, he's a gentle soul who's nice to everyone, grown ups, children or other animals,

Gary went to the beach to get some ad videos after 6 months in the field with no fuss or bother, he hacks on a long rein and he goes alone or in company, good in traffic even standing to wait for the train to pass (see video), vice free and easy to handle.

Gary would make a great project for someone or he'd be happy plodding around the roads he really is versatile and would try his best no matter what the job is

I bought him as a project but I've just not had the time, he has a naturally flowing stride but is a fairly blank canvas in the school.

As far as I am aware he's never jumped under saddle but I've loose schooled him and he was jumping for fun, showed bags of scope and made a great shape over a decent size fence (see video)

Experienced Allrounder

Cruise 16.2hh 9yo Irish Gelding by Uskerty Diamond Lad x Carrick Cruise On

Cruise is a wonderful gentleman and a true top class allrounder, the ultimate amateurs horse who makes light work of all riding club activities. A fantastic well schooled, established horse, with plenty of experience in all spheres.

Successfully competed BE90 and BE100, a super proven grassroots eventer, who has also showjumped BS to 1.10 level with amateur female rider. A very straight, honest and genuine horse always looking to jump from start and finish.

Cruise rides very well on the flat with basic lateral work. Does a lovely dressage test, with attractive paces. Has a very correct and classical way of going that would shine bright in the USA as an American Hunter Jumper making him a wonderful candidate to export.

Recently also ridden by less experienced teenage working pupils successfully and my novicey teenager helper loves him to pieces.

Imported from Ireland as a 4yo and solely produced by amateur lady rider.

No vices, recent good clinical vetting and x rays

Does have very mild shiver on flexion behind, however is very sound, backs up, turns tight circles, shoes and studs up without any issue.

I am returning to horses later in life. Small, lightweight lady seeking a kind horse to take me hacking, go on local leisure rides and other new adventures. 14.1-15.3hh.

Prefer a gelding although non marish mares considered who don’t need restricted grazing and can live in our out (although I like to maximise turnout if conditions allow).

Needs to be great in traffic-although quiet lanes, we do have large tractors and noisy motorbikes.

Looking for a horse that walks out confidently on their own or in company and does not get strong or silly when in company or open spaces as I probably don’t bounce like I used to! Would like to pop the odd log and maybe go to the beach or leisure rides.

Good in the school would be nice if I wanted to do a bit of schooling/jumping, but not essential.

And of course, good to worm, shoes, catch, groom, tie up, dentist etc.

History mut be known. If you have outgrown your own heart horse and want to be confident of a loving home and low level activities, then please get in touch. I am on the edge of the Peak District.

Meet Dream - 6 year old 15.2 Irish bred Mare

Dream has been used as a top end allrounder! She has been in the same home since 18 months old so full history is known ! This is a really sad sale for the owners so please no time wasters.

Dream has 3 lovely steady paces, works well on the flat and has a cute little jump too! She has attending clinics , sponsored rides and unaffiliated dressage shows, been XC school as well absolutely loved it and took it all in her own stride !

Dream is a pleasure to handle in all ways, she is good to hack alone or in company, good to shoe , clip, catch, load and travel. Has been groomed and lead around by the owners young toddlers ! Shes super safe to handle and easy to have around.

Would be an ideal mother daughter share, for a child coming off of ponies or juat an genuinely nice horse to have as an all rounder.

Versatile, kind mare, would love to hack and canter around the country side!

Beautiful 16.1hh sports horse mare. 13 years old. Hunted, schools, jumps hacks, beach rides, would team chase. Equally would look after an older rider who wants to hack around the country side and go for a canter safely.
Great up roads, would take you hacking for miles! Been everywhere shops, chippy, beach, pub! comfortable to ride. Works sweetly enough in an outline but will go round off the bridle.

Silver is the easiest mare to handle on the ground, my year and a half old daughter plays around her! Sits on her at feed time!

She is currently living out but will live in, good in electric drama free to keep. good to have teeth done, clip and farrier.

She is kind enough to look after a less experienced rider but I would like her to go to a competent pilot as I feel she is bred too well to just walk round the block. Low maintenance mare to look after not a charge round the field type. Will do anything for food and treats!

She will hack alone or with company. Can go in a huge 10acre field and not get lit up! Will pop a small ditch from a stand still.

This mare deserves the best home. No rush to see her go, I would actually hunt her the end of this year should she stay. Open to vettings and bloods, 5* homes only please, sad sale. No timewasters. Home is priority and forever home is wanted. She would also look after an older rider who wants to galavant around the country side!

Lovely 7-year-old 15.1hh Grey Connemara gelding looking for a kind, knowledgeable home.

Imported from Ireland as a rising 4yo.

Has previously won at BD Prelim.  He’s a lovely, boy who gives his best, but he’s much more at home hacking than schooling. Good in traffic, enjoys a steady pace and is happiest exploring the lanes, fields, and bridleways.

Stabled on a small farm so use to tractors, busy roads seen lorries, dogs, he takes it all in his stride. Hacks alone or in company. He’s a sweet, willing lad who would suit a confident, sympathetic rider wanting a safe hacking partner with some schooling ability.

He does pop a jump, but due to a hind leg injury, (latest scans available to buyer to view) is now suited to hacking and light schooling only. Currently being ridden three times a week. He’s sound and happy in this lifestyle.

Good to clip, catch, farrier, teeth, fully Vaccinated, lives in/out. loads/travels well either trailer/lorry, easy to handle, loves fuss.

Home very important than price, Happy to discuss injury to buyer.

No texts please, phone calls only.
