It is with a very heavy heart that we offer our much-loved Choc-Ice for sale. He is the ideal mother and daughter share, while also being a fantastic first horse for someone stepping up from ponies or a small adult looking for a genuine all-rounder.

We have owned Choc-Ice for 14 years, buying him as a 4-year-old when I was just 11 years old. He took me from ponies to horses and, more recently, has spent the last 4½ years on full loan, where he has done exactly the same for his current rider, taking her from her first pony onto horses. Sadly, she is now heading off to university and, with a young baby, I am unable to take him back, so we have made the heartbreaking decision to find him the perfect next home.

Choc-Ice is a genuine all-rounder who loves having a job. He schools nicely on the flat, produces a lovely dressage test, and has regularly jumped 80–95cm courses. He has attended Pony Club regularly, enjoying rallies, camps, and a variety of activities. He loves hacking and is always safe doing so.

At 18 years old, he has a wealth of experience and still has plenty to offer. He would be perfect for a family wanting one horse to enjoy together—whether that’s Pony Club, lessons, beach Rides, clinics, hacking, or simply having fun.

He is good to shoe, box, clip, catch and is a pleasure to own. Choc-Ice has a cheeky, affectionate personality and is loved by everyone who meets him.

This is an incredibly difficult sale, and finding the right home is our absolute priority. We will only let him go to a loving, knowledgeable home where he will continue to be cherished.

In October 2020, he had both hind suspensory ligaments denerved. He was successfully rehabilitated and brought back into work, and this has not affected him since - no further treatment/management has been required.

At the moment we have 4,5 and 6yr olds available. A lot of homebreds in the mix with great bloodlines including our own special stallion Chrysler key, and then recently important horses from Ireland as well. The horses we look for are to suit competition homes in showjumping, eventing homes for amateur, and professional homes alike so please be realistic with your ability. 

We also have a selection of older horses including 8yr who recently took a young girl around the first 130, a 10yr jumping 120 to name a few.

A lovely 14.2hh, 5-year-old weight-carrying mare with a kind temperament, a super attitude to work and plenty of ability to go out and have some fun.

Rosey schools sweetly on the flat and is responsive through her transitions. With further schooling and production, we think she could look fantastic in the show ring, whether that’s in flat or working hunter classes.

Despite being on the rounder side, she also loves to jump! Rosey will happily pop a fence, whether showjumping or out cross-country. She’s brave, willing and sensible, and we can really see her making a fabulous hunter.

Rosey hacks confidently alone and in company. She is unfazed by traffic, sensible in open spaces and isn’t strong, making her a pleasure to take out.

On the ground, she is an absolute pet to handle, with excellent manners and a lovely nature.

Rosey would be ideal for someone who wants the safety and sensibility of a cob, but isn’t quite ready to hang up their boots! She’s a proper fun, versatile mare who can turn her hoof to a bit of everything. We can just imagine her showing through the summer and hunting through the winter, with plenty of pub rides in between!

Super smart little chap that would go on a do a variety of fun things if wanted, or equally happy hack for the rest of his life!

Riding really sweetly for his age, he’s done tons of hacking and is used to being ridden on the beach. Working well in the arena for his age with 3 nice paces and good transitions, starting to learn about working on the bridle. Starting to pop a fence and done a bit of XC, he’s a really game little chap and will give anything a go with a smile on his face.

Hacks alone or in company and has been good in the traffic we’ve met and with the farm machinery around the place.

Been out to arena hires and doesn’t get silly when taken to a new place. Popping some SJ’s and starting to string some small fences together.

Lovely little cob that’ll make the most super all rounder.

Kind easy going type that takes everything in his stride and will make his new owner very happy.

Good to catch, load, wash off, travel. Turns out individually or with others.

Smartie is a super smart little cob, really well put together with a pretty head and nice paces.

Working in all 3 paces in the arena sweetly, with some schooling she’d produce a lovely little dressage test.

Hacks alone and in company and has been good in the traffic we’ve met, good in open spaces and good with the farm machinery around the yard here.

Has popped a few XC fences and has a lovely little jump on her, she was very genuine and didn’t say no to anything. Been to arena hires and starting to pop some coloured fences and string a few together. Very easy to take out and about! Loves to box up, go exploring

and popping logs in the woods.

Flashy is a true gentleman in every way he has impeccable manners and is very sensible for his age.

He currently stands at 13.3 but has more growing and maturing to do.

He is substantial enough to carry a small adult but has the perfect temperament for a child.

He has been shown numerous times in hand and has expressive uphill paces.

He is well used to show ‘prep’ and is easy to groom , bath, chalk , tail bag, hood etc….

He travels and loads brilliantly and is easy for me to take out on my own.

He happily turns out with mares or geldings , loves his stable and makes no fuss if left alone.

He has done lots of inhand hacking alone and in company where he has met dogs , bikes , pushchairs etc…. He is good in the traffic we have met to date.

He is an absolute pleasure to have on the yard and has a kind an easy temperament he is sadly looking for a new family as unfortunately he isn’t going to be big enough for me. He has been long reining and taken to it really well. Happily wears tack and has been sat on.

Unfortunately with no small rider I can’t continue his education he is such a lovely pony and deserves his own person, he will make a fabulous family pony or junior tgca cob.
