Loving Family Looking for First Horse – Leicestershire

Disheartened but hopeful mum searching for our first family horse. We're based in Leicestershire on a wonderful yard with fantastic hacking and instructors on-site.

We're looking for a genuine, kind-natured horse to be a mother-daughter share.

My 13-year-old daughter is a quiet and sensible rider who mainly has riding school experience, and is now ready to do a bit of everything — hacking, schooling, local shows, sj, xc, pc etc
And for me (mum), a bit rusty but competent. Mainly interested in schooling and hacking these days.

What we're looking for:
Age: Ideally 7–10
Height: Around 15hh–15.3
Temperament: Safe, steady, not sharp or spooky please - got to love being pampered & fussed. No strong or heavy types please.
Must be good to do in all ways — farrier, loading, catching, traffic, etc.
Must enjoy a varied life and be happy living on a friendly, active yard.

He has been to arena hire, has seen fillers and shows a nice technique. He has seen traffic, farm machinery, sheep, cows and dogs. Kylo is more confident hacking with others but I do hack him around the farm on his own.

Meet Yogi absolutely stunning 4 year old piebald approx 15.2 gelding.

This little horse has the kindest nature and is an absolute pleasure with everything.

He is homebred out of a very good mare who show jumped up to 1.20 being very competitive and an out and out winner she also has correct confirmation and is a lovely person.

His sire is Rollstone Inde-Cent who is talented in himself with dressage and jumping but ultimately is know for his kind temperament and good train ability that is passed on to his offspring.

Bonnie is for sale through no fault of her own this is an extremely heartbreaking decision, she is just too much for my daughter, who is over horsed and has lost her confidence with her.

Not suitable for a novice Bonnie is a typical Welsh, she will take time to trust you but once she does, she is a loving mare. She takes her confidence from her rider, so needs someone who understands that.
