Out of Ayen Shael, an Akhal-Teke mare. This type of breed offers speed, stamina, agility, and toughness, qualities which have been honed over thousands of years. Their distinctive light, efficient build and ability to thrive in extreme heat and long-distances have made them historically valued as endurance horses. If you talk to any farrier they can tell you how trimming these types of horses can be like cutting into a rock cake. Modern sport riders appreciate them for their athleticism, rideability, and striking metallic appearance. An example of this is by Sergei Filatov, who rode the Akhal-Teke stallion Absent which won the individual dressage gold at the 1960 Rome Olympics, marking the Soviet Union’s first Olympic gold in the discipline. By using this breed it allows us to  offer movement, stamina and endurance especially when crossing them with the jumping sports horse, like the bloodlines Duplexx has to offer.

Out of Tanretta, who's sire Tangelo Van De Zuuthoeve is a proven competitor at the highest level, delivering strong performances under Roelof Bril, including notable third-place finishes in the Grand Prix of Vienna and the Grand Prix of Birmingham. His influence in breeding is remarkable many of his young progeny are already succeeding in 1.60m Grand Prix sport, reinforcing his status as a truly exceptional sire. Tanretta's Dam Dam sire is Quidam de Revel in 1992 took part in the team bronze medal at the Barcelona Olympic Games and finished fourth individually.

This foal has 55% thoroughbred in her. She carries the proven historical genetics of performance, and courage a combination that bodes well.

Noble Dancer’s sire Noble Champion was a powerhouse in the sport, achieving 17 Grand Prix victories and earning the title of Oldenburg Showjumper Stallion of the Year (1998) under Hauke Luther.

Diamant is a powerful stallion with a strong back, scope, great balance, wonderful canter, suppleness, uncommon ease and super willingness, coupled with a rideability that he passes on to his offspring. Eddie comes from a proven performance damline combining the blood of the exceptional 1.60m Thoroughbred stallion French Buffet xx and the power of prolific top performance producer Burggraaf. Eddie’s direct damline is littered with 1.60m showjumpers and his dam Uklahoma herself competed to 1.35m internationally and has so far produced a 3* eventer.

Out of an Irish Sports Horse mare by Tinarana Goldwave, who is by the legendary Argentinus out of an Ahorn mare. Irish-bred Goldwave competed to Grand Prix before being sold to America in 2014. He has passed on to his progeny elegant heads with strong impressive impulsion behind, powerful scope and super temperaments. For Schufro was born in June 2024 and has been a delight to have around. He has three correct paces and an excellent temperament. He is currently chestnut but will turn grey and is sure to be extremely eye catching. I expect him to mature around 15.2-15.3hh. He has the loveliest personality and is a very kind boy.

He is a son of the Grand Prix and licensing champion stallion For Romance. Having been pronounced Champion Stallion of his licensing in 2011, For Romance did not disappoint during his 30-day test in Schlieckau, passing with super scores. He received a 9.25 for his trot and rideability, a 9.0 for his canter and an 8.88 for character. For Romance has made his mark in the breeding world and has produced numerous foal champions, licensed stallions and top sport horses.

For Schufro's dam, Razzle Dazzle, is daughter of the elite mare Ferna who herself is full sister to the prolific stallion and Olympic medalist Don Schufro. Razzle Dazzle has two maternal sisters competing at international Grand Prix. Her sister Ferrera competed at the World Equestrian Games and another sister, Finnlanderin, competed at the Paris Olympic Games for Canada. The dam line has produced countless top performers and famous licensed stallions including Blue Hors Veneziano, Blue Hors Zatchmo, Escanto PS, Donier, Just Wimphof, Furst Toto, Blue Hors Zirrus to name only a handful.

We are able to offer longer term youngstock livery at a very affordable cost if necessary. We also have other youngsters available.

There is also the chance to flush an embryo from one of our competition mares (different terms apply).

Located in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside Leake Connemaras offer Foal and Youngstock Livery with all basic handling taken care of so that you can be stress free about your youngster.

Youngsters are placed in small same sex and age groups with 24 hour turnout in summer in large grass fields and paddocks with secure fencing. In winter youngsters live in group barns with access to good quality haylage and youngstock balancer. Research shows that small herd living with adequate grazing, space and shelter maximises social, emotional and physical well being.

In addition to the above youngsters get the basic handling they need to form the foundations for later training such as bathing, grooming, sessions on the horse walker and horsebox loading. Our aim is to produce well rounded young horses and ponies that will excel in life, whether that be as someone's next olympic hopeful or family friend

Livery package includes haylage, youngstock balancer, bedding and farrier.
