Lizzies Personality - Lizzie is a beautiful ‘person’ inside and out. She is calm, kind and has a lovely disposition. Lizzie will look after her rider. Lizzie is a very affectionate mare. She is perfect to clip, shoe, load, travel, dentist and physio.

Lizzie is not spooky and hacks out alone and in company in the busiest of traffic.

Lizzie maintains her concentration and doesn’t bat an eyelid at JCBs, large lorries and tractors a few feet away from her, dogs running around, kids shouting and galloping around and rides consistently in strong winds or heavy rain. She literally doesn’t care! Her disposition means that she copes well at the busiest of competitions.

Lizzie under saddle - Lizzie has competed in all disciplines. Though fun and nicely forward going, Lizzie is not spooky. Lizzie is snaffled mouthed and we feel best suited as a third pony to make use of her ability, willingness and current age.

Showjumping – Lizzie does her very best to please and look after her rider. Lizzie is jumping around a course of 95cm jumps at the minute at home. (Scope to go higher) Lizzie doesn’t stop, has a great natural jumping canter and has the willingness and athleticism to jump off any stride (even if it’s wrong) has been winning all the classes in the 80 cm and 90cm locally.

Cross Country – Lizzie has successfully competed at Hunter Trials and One Day Events. She has partaken in numerous cross country training clinics, and with her old owners she did Farm Rides and hound exercises with the Readyfield Bloodhounds. Loves water and happily jumps 80cm at local hunter trials. In the ribbons for SDPC intermediate hunter trials every time! Cross country machine!

Flat work – Lizzie works very hard in her flat work and always tries to please. She has competed dressage at arena uk area qualifiers placing really well in a big class. Has flatwork schooling with her trainer 3 times a week.

Breeding - Bred out of Killaloe Buachaill Mor and Monaghanstown Girl. Grandsire is top showjumper, Templebready Fear Bull. Lizzie show name: Kinnemara Girl.

Ollandra King Louie, Welsh X skewbald gelding, 15.2, 12 years old, same home for the last 7 years. Lovely all-rounder, would make great competition pony.

He has beautiful paces and action, he does a lovely dressage test, established at novice, and placed every time. Because of lack of time, we have not competed over the last year, although Louie's schooling has continued. He is now training at elementary level, and I am told by my teacher he has the potential to go to advanced medium. He has good lateral movement, and he does a lovely shoulder-in, travers, half-pass, counter-counter and has just started flying changes. He moves into a contact easily with a lovely carriage.

Louie qualified for area festivals a couple of years ago, and was placed in the novice 24 test at the sunshine tour at Hickstead in 2021, behaving impeccably.

He’s not a novice ride as he is forward-going. He is very versatile, beautifully schooled and responsive, perfect for a confident rider to take out and about, to do anything with.

Louie loves to jump and hates touching the poles, therefore gives a lot of space above the fence! I have only jumped him up to 75cms because I am not keen on jumping, but he could easily go much higher with a more competent rider. Has tried his hoof at cross country, and loved it.

Louie is a pretty boy. He has tried showing where the judges loved his expressive movement.

Hacks alone or in company, not strong or silly. Good in open spaces, will go in front or behind.

Been out to training camps, many Thetford forest riding holidays, many sponsored rides and to the beach a few times.

Good to load, travel, catch, for the dentist and the farrier.

Easy to take out and about, good with dogs. Good in traffic, with farm machinery, lorries etc. Good ground manners, good in the stable.

Louie loves cuddles and scratches, never sick or sorry. Has never wanted for anything, regular maintenance with the physio, teeth, up-to-date with jabs, regular shoeing etc. He will stand for hours being washed and groomed and fussed over.

Never planned on selling him, this is a very sad and difficult sale. Louie is a much-loved boy, he deserves nothing less than a 5* home.

Sire is the young upcoming stallion Foxisle Rolex (by Locarno 62, out of the very successful mare Lufonia), Dam is a Class 1 Connemara evented to BE100 who passes on excellent conformation and temperament to all her offspring, I have retained two of her fillies and owned her 12 years.

Lufonia- mare by Cohinoor VDL (Cornet Obolensky/Chin Chin/Stakkato) gained an unpresidented 9.75 for her jump. A mark that is rarely given by the AES. She also gained 9.25 for her frame and was awarded a grade 3* the highest award for mares. An incredible up and coming 8yo mare with many wins at 1m30+ level, last year competing in the Grace C classes and in the Bolesworth 7yo classes very successfully. Huge amounts of scope and presence with natural ability to go all the way to the top.

Locarno 62- has been selected to represent Great Britain twice at the senior European Championships at San Patrignano 2005 and Mannheim 2007 at which he won the bronze medal. He was the best British horse resulting in Great Britain qualifying for the Olympic games. Unfortunately injury kept him out of the Olympics, although he had the best performance in the European Championships and has won and been placed in major Nation Cups, Grand Prix’s and World cups across the globe.

Locarno’s young stock is proven to be very consistent, inheriting his scopey careful jump, correct conformation, elastic movement and fantastic temperament. Among his offspring; Lola V, JB Hotstuff, Abazu, Lovarno, La Mona, Viola, to name just a few have competed internationally at the highest level including Grand Prix and Nation cups.

Locarno has the highest percentage rate for jumpers in the world, all with his wonderful temperament, movement, looks and confirmation.

Her grandsire is Chacoa, Holsteiner stallion who has been influential in both eventing and show jumping and is known to bring the heart of a lion to his offspring, and her great grandsire is Glidawn Diamond by King of Diamonds.

He will not disappoint in the most competitive of homes but equally he will be trainable and a best friend for an amateur rider to produce their own all rounder fun horse.
