Striking 11yo gelding. A proper stamp of a little horse who has looked after his young rider and brought her on from 70cm to jumping dbl clears BE U1890s.

Freddie is correct, workmanlike and rhytmic on the flat. He produces a consistant dressage test and on his last outing won a prelim with 72.16% and 4th in a Novice with 70.6%. He has been on the winning PC Area dressage team and placed at the Championships.

We are a children's charity that teaches children between the ages of eight to eighteen the whole aspect of horse ownership, including riding.

We are looking for a bigger weight carrier to join our family of 24. Ideally will live out although we do have stables should they be required.

15 years + and over 15hh, a horse that has been there and seen it and got the t-shirt and now needs a quieter life. Must be good on the ground.

We are very quiet during the week as the children only come at the weekends so the horse must be able to cope with that transition.

All we need is a horse that can walk, trot and canter and pop a very small jump without issue, nothing more taxing than that, the work at the weekends is minimal.

We have a small budget and the Covid lockdown has adversely affected us. We would definitely consider a long term loan.

Jerry is a 15hh (152cm) 14 year old (low mileage) gelding. He has a been a huge part of our family for almost 8 years and he has taken me from jumping 60cm cross poles to 90cm/1m courses. He is a true confidence giver, straight forward, forgiving and a quick learner, always ridden in a snaffle. He is impeccable to hack alone or in company and is never spooky or silly and is bombproof in all kinds of 'noisy' traffic and in open spaces.

Jerry has competed up to 1m courses however, due to work commitments, he hasn't done much for a while so we feel he would be better suited to someone wanting to jump around 75/85cm. He has always been in the ribbons, some of his highlights are a team 1st at area showjumping to qualify for the Pony Club national championships and also winning numerous pony club ODE's and Eventer's challenges.

We have competed in many unaffiliated and pony club ODEs at 90 and 100cm jumping round official BE courses. Jerry has also schooled up to BE Novice cross country and competed in many hunter trials and combined training, and is not fazed by water, banks, ditches, trakhenners etc.

He has competed in Dressage scoring 65+% in all Prelim tests and was placed 6th in his first Novice. He has three lovely paces with a consistent outline. He knows some lateral movements and is working towards Elementary level.

I have hunted him a few times which he really enjoyed, however he can get a bit strong. He is sensible on the ground, good for the for the vet, farrier, dentist and to catch and load, but he does have to be fully sedated to clip. He has had a quiet past year due to work commitments but he is now coming back into full work and ready to go out and have fun. We feel he would be an ideal experienced mother and daughter share. Absolutely no novices please.
