ULTIMATE ALLROUNDER

  • BEAUTIFUL INSIDE & OUT

LOTTIE is an exceptional mare not mareish in the slightest! .. Up to height and really takes up the leg. Clean limbed. She has a lovely nature always wanting to please.

LOTTIE has a laid back temperment, not a high maintenance horse. Currently happily living in a mixed herd and stabled during the day. She enjoys a varied lifestyle of hacking, alone and in company. Safe on the roads and I trust her implicitly in open spaces. She'll go first or last lottie is a fun forward going ride not a kick along. Responsive to your leg.

Schools beautifully on the flat with 3 expressive paces with a lovely soft mouth. Snaffle mouthed at all times. Lottie is straight forward to any fence and will take off from any stride, not fussed on planks or fillers etc.. She has taken part in Hunter trials and fun rides also.. Currently competing at Prelims and competitive at 80 cm with a rusty jockey. Capable of much much more i have only scratched the surface myself with lottie. Not a spooky horse.

She'd easily run at affiliated BE she has all the credentials she's a true turn her hoof to anything sort! Shes evenly marked showing is not my forte however she would turn heads !

Easy mare to take out and about to shows and clinics either alone or with company. She'll stand in the trailer whilst the other is away albeit a few neighs but then happily eat at her haynet. Loads and travels well.

No nasty hidden quirks with lottie what you see is what you get ! She does not squeal or change her behaviour in season and in fact I couldn't tell you when is in season ! .. If going hacking alone and the others are calling her from the yard she will call back albeit mildly annoying I guess they can't be perfect!! She doesn't buck, rear, bolt or nap .. Has never stopped or refused at a jump either ! She doesn't need riding every day will be the same after a month or two off .. No stable vices.

I will only let lottie go to a wonderful home she is truly very special .. not through any fault of hers this is a genuinely sad sale. She really enjoys her work and I want to see her continue up the levels in whatever discipline that is !

Teeth and regular foot trims up to date. No health issues whatsoever.

To come with tack and rugs if needed.

SEEKING Super Safe Hack & Low Level Dressage Horse

  • Non jumping home. Small private yard.
  • Must be super safe out hacking alone & in company
  • 15.3-17hh Mare or Gelding, all ages considered

Seeking my new perfect partner for hacking, flat/ polework lessons, low level dressage and the odd beach trip.

Top priority is a safe, non spooky type out hacking both alone and in company and must be good in traffic.

I will be honest and say I have had a break from riding after a back injury/ nasty fall so I cannot have anything known to throw in a buck.

All ages and types considered 15.3hh - 17hh. Vet history must be disclosed - temperament is most important so I am open minded in regards to this. Non jumping home or at best the odd log in the woods or cross pole in the field!

Would like to return to competing at Prelim/ Novice Dressage but happy to put the work in or take on an older horse that now needs a quiet life.

I can offer a home on a small private yard of four horses with lots of turnout (out 24:7 in summer, in at night during winter). Yard visit welcome, references available. More than happy to keep in contact. Horse will not want for anything and will become a much loved member of the family.

  • A beautiful mare with a heart of gold, who always works to please.
  • Will excel at anything, beautiful on the the flat and is a quick learner, not fazed by any show jumping combinations or fillers and an absolute hunting machine.

‘Fenella Laban’ 15hh 11yo mare with a BS and BD record, has evented and done lots of hunting.

Fenella is a straight forward easy type that would suit a confident teen, a mother daughter share, or a small adult wanting to have some fun.

She turns her hoof to anything, with lovely paces and a natural outline, yet also forward and keen to a fence.

She is sensible and level headed, doesn’t get het up in open spaces or fresh if you give her time off.

Fenella is a massive confidence giver when it comes to jumping as she is as honest as they come, never ever stops and not phased by any filler, will take any miss or dodgy stride you throw at her and always get you to the other side safely.

She has a very successful BD record, as well as doing some BS, lots of UA 90cm and eventing ODE’s 90cm.

Perfect all rounder who has been there and got the T-shirt multiple times. Never spooky or sharp, good to do in all ways, exceptionally laid back nature and good with children and dogs.

On the hunt field Fenella is exceptionally bold to fences, and has been a sensible lead for multiple young/green horses of mine. A very easy mare to handle and take out, you can leave her on the box alone without fuss.

A very sad sale, but due to me working full time I no longer has the time to give her. Looking for a 5* long term home for this lovely mare.

Open to any vettings etc. Based in Maidstone, Kent. Tack and rugs available at a separate negotiation.

A super special all round Schoolmaster that excels in any sphere . This has been a very difficult decision to sell our much loved gelding Gideon (Giddy) due to health.

Giddy has been with us since a 5yr old and in this time has been carefully produced, he is a fun yet competive little horse in all spheres , and has attended RC and /or PC camp 4yrs on the trot , Area RC teams in Sj , and dressage has competed teamquest, and unaffiliated dressage to novice level. British Showjumping DC upto 1.05 to date with scope for more! Unaffiliated eventing at 80cm as a 5/6yr old , he would now be ready to go out and do a 90 or 100 cm no problem, we have found ourselves going down more the SJ route as have a young family that has to join in the fun..

however Giddy has regularly XC schooled and is brave and enjoys it, happily doing, water , steps , ditches etc, we have used him as a lead for the babies .

Giddy is a very careful Show jumper and is clever and will go off any stride, he is not a stopper! He has had a go at SJ Derby , which he thoroughly enjoyed, and has attended stay away shows and many clinics.

Giddy has 3 fantastic paces and the Dressage judges love him, he has a real presence and is very correct in his way of going he is uphill, light in the hand and responsive off the leg, he has a wonderful engaged hind leg and has good lateral work, he would climb up the grades very easily with training .

This lovely Boy is a dream to handle, he stands it shows not even been tied up. He travels and loads superbly onto a trailer or lorry, and is the sort of horse that you can do on your own no matter what is going on around you.

He is a gentleman to handle in and out of the stable, He hacks alone in company and is safe in open spaces and with traffic , Snaffle mouthed at all times, Giddy is a very genuine horse and is very kind and safe , however he is a competition horse and he is forward so would suit an experienced amateur or young rider or even a competent child coming off ponies,

Videos on request , five star homes only.

He does not come with Tack but his saddle can be purchased separately. Never sick or sorry.

He is fit and ready to go , and is open to any vetting.

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.
