VMS DION CRUISE – TOP-CLASS CATEGORY 1 SHOWJUMPING PONY FOR SALE

14-year-old grey mare • 148 cm • FEI lifetime measured

Cruise is a loving pony who adores attention and is a pleasure to have around. She is sweet in the stable, easy to handle and a joy to ride every day. She gives her rider a safe, honest and consistent ride and is a truly exceptional schoolmistress.

In the showjumping arena, Cruise is brave, exceptionally quick and highly competitive. She has a great canter and good technique, rarely looks at fillers and absolutely loves her job. She helps her rider to the fences, is forgiving if the distance is not quite right and can also produce a beautiful, stylish round.

Cruise has competed successfully at a high level and has extensive experience at national and international shows, including major competition venues. She could suit a less experienced rider looking for a safe, knowledgeable schoolmistress, or an ambitious rider wanting to develop and compete at exciting, high-level shows.

She gives her rider confidence, helps them around the course and has proven herself a consistent, competitive pony over many years. She is also a pleasure to ride on the flat and always gives a lovely ride.

Results and highlights

* Winner of a HOYS qualifier

* Winner of a Hickstead qualifier

* Qualified for and competed at the Danish Championships

* 760 points — just short of Foxhunter and comfortably competing at JC level

Kayla’s Results 2025

* Baltic Cup Mini Tour winner in Drammen, Norway

* 1st in an MA1* class at the SJM Spring Festival

* 3rd in an S1* class at 125cm

Kayla, Cruise’s previous rider, has now reached the age limit for pony competitions and is moving on to horses. Cruise is now with a new rider, who is still getting to know her and building a partnership with her. Their results are therefore still developing.

Our greatest wish is to find Cruise a loving family where she can become the same wonderful schoolmistress and best friend to her next rider as she has been to us.

Recent X-rays taken in the spring were clean and without remarks.

Serious enquiries only. We’re looking for the right home for Cruise, not the highest price.

PRICE REDUCED TO £6,000 – HOPELESSLY OUTGROWN!

Billy is an honest jumping pony who will give his rider confidence and get them to the other side of the jump with a smile on their face.

Many wins in WHP & Show Jumping 60/70.

Billy has qualified for multiple major championships, including NPS WHP, Scone Palace and the PC70 Spring Festival, and was 10th at the 2025 Royal Highland Show in the HOYS M&M Junior WHP.

My daughter does everything with Billy independently, from leading him to the field, grooming and tacking up, to riding and everything in between. Through this, she has gained invaluable knowledge, experience and independence.

Great to hack alone or in company and happy to hack beside a pushbike. Excellent in traffic and in large open fields.

Billy has attended Eglinton Hunt Pony Club rallies and Somerford Park Camp, giving my daughter a positive first Cross Country experience.

Billy is fit and ready to go and teach his next rider. Best suited to a child with an established seat and canter, who is confidently riding around small courses of cross poles and wants a pony they can ride, learn from and progress with. Would drop down to lead rein if required.

This is a very sad sale, as he has simply been outgrown too soon. We are now searching for a 14.2 Billy!

Billy is a special pony who deserves a special home where his next rider can ride him, compete him, learn from him and make their own memories.

Show Pony/ fun all rounder – The Ultimate Safe Child’s Ride

Beautiful 12.2hh show pony with exceptional manners and temperament. A true child’s pony who is safe, sensible, and easy in every way. Good to hack and pops a fence, he will look after even the smallest of jockeys.

Only lightly shown as we are concentrating on novice ponies and he is massively outgrown but will step up or down a level depending on jockey. Has safely taken my daughter from FR into the the open classes.

Previously qualified for RIHS and placed highly in the few qualifiers he has contented this year.

Perfect to handle on the ground and ridden and handled by children. Genuine, kind confidence-giver with no vices and would happily take a nervous child safely. No health issues and will turnout/ ride/ travel alone or in company.

Only reluctantly for sale to the very best home as prematurely outgrown and concentrating on bigger, novice ponies.

Now reduced due to lack of time and other ponies going into winter.

• Actively looking for the best Pony Club ponies
• Some fabulous knowledgeable homes waiting
• No fees for sellers

I have motivated clients looking for genuine, kind, quality and proven ponies to take part in all Pony Club activities.

The ponies I would love to hear about are those not needing to be advertised to secure a new home. There is no harm in finding out whether I know of a better home and match. Perhaps you worry about your child finding it upsetting seeing their old pony regularly at rallies etc - then selling out of area could be a better solution.

These are motivated buyers receiving guidance as to what will likely suit their child - not the timewasters regularly reported. In most cases homes are also knowledgeable: simply lacking in time to conduct a search themselves. Most will also wait for the right pony so if you are not ready to sell yet - that is not an issue.

There are some decent budgets available relative to age and medical conditions etc.

All leads will be handled with discretion. Please feel free to give me a call, drop me a WhatsApp or check out my Instagram page @theponysearchagent

• Great with kids.

My daughter has sadly outgrown her babysitter! Calypso has really brought her riding on. She has learnt to jump on him at 70 & 80cms. He has given her confidence. He has also looked after my younger daughter who is quite a nervous rider. Plus given pony rides to all their friends.

He is a true gentleman. For sale as very sadly out grown. A great kid's pony. Good to catch, clip, shoe, teeth, travel, hack out, groom, wash.

Mixes with other horses inside or outside.

Good on lead, or off lead. He will walk beside you if you need to walk with your child. You can also lead another pony from him.

He doesn't mind dogs & been used to heard sheep.

Videos available on request (trying to upload to you tube).

Looking for the best and kindest of homes for this sweet pony.

• The complete package, handsome, consistently competitive, yet super safe.

13.1 bay gelding, 13 years old. Registered British Riding Pony. Oozes presence, fabulous movement and loves his job. Talented and incredibly easy to do, with impeccable manners. Always takes care of his rider and intuitively knows when he has someone more novice on him and takes it steady but will go up a gear and strut his stuff for the more capable and competitive rider.

Mainly competed at dressage and ridden showing in current home, and always in the ribbons, but has attended pole work and jumping clinics to keep his work varied. This pony will absolutely try anything for you and never grumble.

Currently competing BD affiliated at Prelim and Novice but has previously competed unaffiliated Elementary. There is more to give for the right rider.

Recent competition highlights are winning a huge class at Trailblazers Dressage Championship at Addington Manor, qualifying for BD Petplan Summer regionals and British Riding Club Winter Dressage Championships. Now part qualified for BD regionals at prelim.

Travels well, loads himself, loves the vet, farrier and dentist and they all fall in love with him. Never silly at shows, even in the biggest of atmospheres.

Been in the same home for 6 years. An absolutely heartbreaking sale but he is sadly outgrown and far too good a pony to just become a lawnmower. He deserves to find his next young jockey to go and have fun with and make them smile just as much as he has my kids.

• GENUINE, EASY & RIDDEN BY CHILDREN FROM 5 YEARS OLD

Pudding is with us to find his new home. He has now been here for a week and has passed all his tests with flying colours. He’s been an absolute pleasure to have around and has taken everything we’ve asked of him in his stride.

We feel Pudding would make a super first ridden or 1.5/2 pony. He is a dream in a snaffle – easy to get going, easy to stop and uncomplicated for a little rider.

🎥 In the video below, Pudding is ridden by four different children – two 5-year-olds, a 9-year-old and an 11-year-old. He has been straightforward and genuine with them all, including being ridden regularly by my novice 5-year-old son.

⭐ He’s easy to catch

⭐ Easy to handle and look after

⭐ Easy to get going and easy to stop

⭐ Ridden in a snaffle

⭐ Loads happily into a trailer and lorry

⭐ Will happily stand by himself

⭐ Loves being with other ponies but is equally happy on his own

⭐ Up to date with farrier & injections

⭐ Teeth done this week

⭐ Ready to go and find his new little person

He really is a gorgeous little pony and has been an absolute pleasure. ❤️ My 5 year old son has taken quite a liking to him, so we’ll be taking him to mini show jumping, pony club, fun rides etc until he’s sold. We are actually taking him to a clear round tomorrow morning.

• Top 3 placings pc area eventing

Westerlake Fagus 136.3cm (life height) gelding BS JC 680 points including 114 this year in limited outings. He has had a phenomenal record with not only my daughter for nearly 3 years but also with his previous jockeys. My daughter has won numerous BS classes from 60 to 90cm inclusive qualifying for may finals including stepping stones, bronze league, Blue Chip Pearl (85cm), He is super careful and turns on a sixpence but yet is not strong, rarely touching a pole, as his BS results show. We have not travelled to all the finals qualified for due to cost but have been to the BS Just for Schools Winter and Summer finals where this year alone he had 2 wins, 2 seconds and a 5th in very competitive classes from 60 to 80cm inclusive. He has represented his pony club winning area 80cm individual show jumping in 2025 and winning the spring festival qualifiers for the past 2 years. This year he also qualified for spring festival arena eventing.

In 2025 he was one leg of the winning mni major team at Devon County and in 2026 he helped his team to a win in the inter hunt relay there.

However Fagus thrives on variety and has also qualified for regional pony club championchips at area eventing at both 70 and 80cm taking a podium position on 2 occasions. He is also a brilliant mounted games pony qualifying for zones in 2025 and being part of the winning team at Royal Cornwall in 2025. Games is not my daughter's passion but Fagus is good enough for MGA.

He is a true all rounder having also gained a 2nd placing in a large working hunter pony class at Royal Cornwall in 2025 and has won working hunter pony, show hunter pony and pony club pony classes at our county agricultural shows. Fagus really enjoys pony club beach rides, trail hunting etc and has helped my daughter pass her pony club C and C+ tests behaving beautifully at pc rallies.

He is easy to handle on the ground in all respects, lives alone or in company, loves being out but can be stabled, loads and travels in a lorry or trailer with or without a friend and has been great with all traffic we have seen out hacking. He is shod in front only. Totally outgrown hence sale. Possibly most suited to a 10+ year old child with some competiton experience. Full wardrobe is included in the asking price. Can whatsapp videos as having difficulty uploading them.

• ⭐ Lovely first/1.5 ridden ⭐

Very difficult sale of our lovely 12.2hh palomino Welsh Section C mare. Fully passported and up to date with everything.

We bought her at Christmas 2025 as my daughter’s first pony off the lead rein. Unfortunately my daughter has sadly lost interest.💔

She is generally more slow than go, requiring plenty of leg, particularly into canter.

⭐️ including nearly new Kent & Masters saddle, bridle & wardrobe

⭐ Hacks alone and in company

⭐ Good in the arena

⭐ Good to load and travel

⭐ Good for the farrier – currently shod on fronts

⭐ Has attended shows

⭐ More slow than forward

She took my daughter to her very first show and was absolutely foot perfect. Despite my daughter being extremely nervous, they did brilliantly together and came home with plenty of rosettes. ❤️

For complete transparency, early in our ownership she did buck my daughter off once when being asked to canter on the lunge. This was before having her new saddle fitted. Since having her new saddle she has been absolutely fine and has not done anything to cause my daughter to fall.

We’ve had her vet checked and have kept on top of her physio, feet and teeth. She does require sedation for dentistry.

I think she’d be best suited to a confident child who already has the basics. I wouldn’t place her with a very nervous or complete beginner rider as she does need to be told what to do otherwise she won’t do anything 🫣🤣

She can be a typical mare occasionally, particularly while she’s getting to know you, but once settled we barely see this side of her.

Another little quirk is catching when she’s turned out with other ponies – she can take some convincing and treats definitely help 😂. When she’s turned out alone, however, she comes when called.

We understand she’s had several homes throughout her life and, at 18 years old, finding her the right long-term home is incredibly important to us. I really don’t want her passed from pillar to post.

💰 Price can be negotiated if the full wardrobe isn’t required.

🏡 5⭐ knowledgeable, loving home is an absolute priority.

I’m happy to answer any questions honestly. Genuine enquiries only please – this is a heartbreaking decision and finding her the right person matters far more to us than a quick sale. ❤️

Melody is a lovely genuine pony who has been in a riding school for 5 years previous to her current owner who’s a 16yo girl.

She’s steady and safe on the lead rein but equally jumps up to 70cm showjump courses and has been cross country at Hickstead.
Great to hack alone or in company, good in traffic and open spaces.

She’ll live in or out in any herd and keeps herself to herself.

Melody has clean legs, she’s not covered in lumps / bumps but does have low grade EMS which is very manageable with wet hay and a muzzle when the summer grass comes through.

Would suit a child’s first pony, be a great Pony Club type or a perfect mother / daughter share.

Approx 13.1 - Perlino gelding, 10 Years

Sadly offering the best boy for sale to the perfect home, only for sale as my son has given up and Champ needs to be doing more and out and about doing what he loves.

1.5 type pony, steady and reliable type and a true family pony that was ridden by my son from 10 -12, my 6 year old daughter and myself.

When we got him my sons confidence was at rock bottom due to a knock from a previous pony, he was trotting round poles on the floor and Champ soon turned that around and within in a few months they were jumping 60-70 courses, riding in open spaces and generally having the best time.

Champ has done PC rallies, stay away camp, SJ, XC, pole clinics, flat work and lots of showing. He excels in the show ring and is beautifully schooled.

He was placed in both his classes last year at stars in huge classes, 4th in the RC Pony, and Shining Star Award in the SHP, he was so well behaved in the big atmosphere. Most recently he won both his classes at The National Palomino Show. He would also be a fantastic WHP.

Good to clip, shoe, worm, load and travel.

He really is the best pony ever and will make another child very happy.

Lots of photos, videos upon request for genuine interest.

Breaking my heart finding a new family for this wonderful pony as I will never ever find another Katie if Albie does decide he one day wants to ride but he just has no interest anymore.

She is a true lead rein pony, first pony and second pony.

She has done literally EVERYTHING

✅ Pony club rallies & camp

✅ Picnics in the forest

✅ Easter egg hunts

✅ All local fancy dress / handy pony shows

✅ Children’s Trail Hunt meetings

✅ Showjumping (jumps tiny with a little one but also has a huge amount of jump with a more capable rider)

✅ Been XC loads of times

✅ Hacks anywhere and everywhere

She is 18 years old, approx 12hh, never been sick or sorry and lots of her history is known. A real hardy pony who happily lives in or out and isn’t bothered if ridden once a year or everyday. She is currently being ridden by a nervous three year-old girl once a week and two children who have never ridden before.

For further information or to arrange a viewing, please call or WhatsApp, comments on posts will not always be followed.

Teddy is a very smart 11 year old gelding, with a super character and brain.

Measures 12.2hh at home with front shoes on, so should measure in under the new system.

He is established at 70/80 BS, however, has competed in 90cm classes. He's jumped small 1m courses and 1.10m single fence at home so some untapped potential there.

He is forward going and can be strong but is never nasty, just enthusiastic so would not suit a novice. He likes a balanced seat and soft hands. Handled by children, loves being groomed and fussed over. Can be headstrong on the ground at times, so needs an experienced home with competent adults.

Hacks alone or in company and leads off of another horse.

He has attended many stay aways and pony club camp.

Career highlights:

- Qualified for cats & pipes Scope 2025

• Perfect Show Jumper and/or Pony Club Partner for ambitious young rider

Highly experienced and extremely honest competition pony for a knowledgeable, capable rider. Hero is a genuine, talented all-rounder with a fantastic attitude. My daughter has chosen to focus on show jumping, but similarly he has so been a fantastic Pony Club partner and has all the bravery and ability to make a fabulous eventer.

Competing is where Hero really excels. He loves the atmosphere and occasion of show jumping, is not fazed by fillers, sound or busy venues, and has a fantastic attitude when in the ring. He is naturally fast against the clock and loves a jump off. He has show-jumped successfully in Ireland up to 110 however we now feel he is best suited to competing at 90cm - 1m, where he remains highly competitive. He has relatively few British Showjumping points, giving his next rider an excellent opportunity to progress with him through the relevant classes.

We bought Hero two years ago for our then 12-year-old daughter to enjoy Pony Club, JFS and NSEA, while also dipping our toes into British Showjumping. In a relatively short time, he has taken her to some fantastic venues and achieved some excellent results, including:

• Pony Club Spring Barrier Finals, Addington, (Placing 3rd in a class of 105)

• Cricklands BS Schools Nationals

• Blue Chip Winter Champs Addington

• NSEA Hurst Champs Hickstead International Arena

• BS Academy Champs at Stoneleigh, representing Sussex County

• Blenheim Pony Club SJ

Hero has a varied life. He is regularly schooled in flatwork; he is great to hack in open spaces both alone and with others and enjoys the gallops, XC and Arena eventing. He has been to numerous stay aways and pony camps around the country and just generally likes to be out and about.

He is good to catch, load and travel. He is excellent for the farrier but requires sedation for clipping. He likes a straightforward routine and prefers to live out - but he is very comfortable in a stable when needed. Hero requires individual turn-out.

Price includes all tack and rugs bought new winter 2024. Price negotiable as home is priority. Motivated seller.

14.2hh, bay, 12 year old, Welsh X Cob, gelding.

Flash is sadly for sale on behalf of his owner.

He excels on the flat. In his previous home he had numerous wins and placings in the Dressage arena. He qualified for, and competed at the PC Dressage regionals 3 times, and also came 2nd in his first BD test. Regularly scores high 60,s/70%.

A smart and naturally active mover, flash is easy to put together on the flat in an outline and creates a lovely, correct picture. Works well laterally with medium paces coming on nicely.

May suit BYDR home.

Flash hacks alone or in company. He is good in traffic and not fazed by farm machinery, large vehicles or motorbikes.

His current owner has done lots of New Forest hacking with him, which he absolutely loves.

He loads and travels well in a lorry or trailer and is polite to handle and good to clip.

In his previous home, he led an active PC life participating in all activities.

Been hunting with VWH on multiple occasions, proving himself to be mannerly at the meet and good with hounds.

Flash is not a confident show jumper and doesn't enjoy this discipline, so not suited to a home wanting to do lots of this.

Quiet, affectionate nature.

Flash takes his confidence from his rider, so is best suited to a reasonably experienced, confident rider, and an active home that wants to do lots of hacking, Dressage, hunting, clinics and shows.
