Highly experienced and extremely honest competition pony for a knowledgeable, capable rider. Hero is a genuine, talented all-rounder with a fantastic attitude. Hero has a varied life. He is regularly schooled in flatwork; he is great to hack in open spaces both alone and with others and enjoys the gallops, XC and Arena eventing. He has been to numerous stay aways and pony camps around the country and just generally likes to be out and about.

He is good to catch, load and travel. He is excellent for the farrier but requires sedation for clipping. He likes a straightforward routine and prefers to live out - but he is very comfortable in a stable when needed. Hero requires individual turn-out.

We have Bunbury So Thrilled now for 4 years. He is a full up 128, will measure anywhere. My daughter has competed him from an 8 year old and now she is soon out of 128's. She started jumping him at 70cm and has moved up slowly to 110cm in premiers and RDS qualifiers. He has plenty of scope, the big tracks are not a problem to him. She has brought home many placings and she has always been so safe on him.

He has also been a great pony to give confidence at pony club and he qualified and competed for the Royal Dublin Horse show in the starter stakes.

My daughter is a kind rider, but also not hugely competitive. Thus the pony is a little under the radar through no fault of his. My daughter has been happy competing him and setting herself the next goal of moving up 10cm at a time.

He is a snaffle ride, very nice to ride on the flat, and smooth against the clock. He hasnt done a huge amount against the clock, again because my daughter has not been pushed about speed rounds.

He has been so easy to have at our home, we love him to bits. He has no vices, easy in every way.

Cruise is a loving pony who adores attention and is a pleasure to have around. She is sweet in the stable, easy to handle and a joy to ride every day. She gives her rider a safe, honest and consistent ride and is a truly exceptional schoolmistress.

In the showjumping arena, Cruise is brave, exceptionally quick and highly competitive. She has a great canter and good technique, rarely looks at fillers and absolutely loves her job. She helps her rider to the fences, is forgiving if the distance is not quite right and can also produce a beautiful, stylish round.

Cruise has competed successfully at a high level and has extensive experience at national and international shows, including major competition venues. She could suit a less experienced rider looking for a safe, knowledgeable schoolmistress, or an ambitious rider wanting to develop and compete at exciting, high-level shows.

She gives her rider confidence, helps them around the course and has proven herself a consistent, competitive pony over many years. She is also a pleasure to ride on the flat and always gives a lovely ride.

Kayla, Cruise’s previous rider, has now reached the age limit for pony competitions and is moving on to horses. Cruise is now with a new rider, who is still getting to know her and building a partnership with her. Their results are therefore still developing.

Our greatest wish is to find Cruise a loving family where she can become the same wonderful schoolmistress and best friend to her next rider as she has been to us.
