Sad sale due to being outgrown.
Caz is a beautiful, very sweet, easy to handle and much loved allrounder pony, who has been with us for the past 5 years.

During that time he has excelled in flatwork, taken part in pole work clinics, jumping clinics and a few jumping competitions.
My daughters mainly competed him in dressage - rarely coming home without ribbons, consistently scoring 70% + at Prelim and ready to step up to novice.

At home, arena hires, and out competing Caz has shown plenty of scope over 60-70cm classes and at home has jumped up to 1m comfortably. However we have mainly done dressage and showing due to his success.

Caz is a sensible soul and needs a confident, calm rider. He can through a buck when excited or when not been ridden for a while. However, never nasty.
Caz would suit a young rider or small adult wanting to develop their riding and going up the levels as well as someone who likes to develop their dressage skills. Equally a riding school might be something he would enjoy.

He hacks in company and alone with a confident rider. He is used to heavy machinery, cars, cyclist etc.

My daughter loves taking him hunting. He has no problems with the hounds and knows his job on the field.

He is blemish free and has wonderfully successful showing breeding to excel in the ring.

He is good on the ground and loves nothing more than a groom and cuddle.

He is in a herd turnout with us and stabled at night.
He is barefoot, good to trim, clip etc.
We give him slight sedation for the dentist and have never had a problem.

Caz is a very lovable pony and is a great best friend.

Cooper – Experienced 16-Year-Old Schoolmaster Gelding

Cooper is a 16-year-old, 14.2hh bay gelding and a true been-there-done-that schoolmaster. He is the ideal pony for someone wanting to confidently step into 80cm, 90cm and 1m classes, or for a rider who wants a genuine, experienced partner to learn and progress with.

Cooper’s heart truly lies in eventing, but he is just as happy and capable in the showjumping ring. He is trustworthy, reliable, honest, straightforward, and incredibly confidence-giving, making him the perfect second pony. Despite his experience, he has plenty of years left in him and still thoroughly enjoys his work.

He is a smart, kind, and easy-going pony with a huge amount of mileage. Cooper has done lots of Pony Club, hunter trials, one-day events, and has also hunted. He has seen it all, knows his job, and makes everything feel easy for his rider.

Temperament & Handling

Very easy to shoe, box, catch, clip, and ride

Priestwood Rocstar (122cm SHP)
Rocky needs no introduction…

Priestwood Rocstar has been one of the most outstanding Lead Rein Show Hunter Ponies of all time. Hoys champion with a huge fan club, admirers wherever he goes. A true show ring favourite who absolutely loves being out competing and in the thick of it.

For Season 26, Rocky is available to lease to contest the new First Pony of Hunter Type class — a class he has all the qualities for. Sadly as we have no jockey for this new class as Gray is now out of this section. As Rocky thrives on competition, we feel this is the perfect opportunity for him to continue doing what he loves most.

A very special, proven pony
A small lease fee for a top class pony, however he is to remain on his current yard in the North East/North Yorkshire area.

Harry is a super boy with a kind, genuine nature who never fails to make us smile. On the ground, he is a pleasure to handle — happy to be groomed and bathed for hours and never fidgety or pushy.

Harry recently took part in a gymkhana, where he behaved impeccably. He did not become fizzy, silly, or strong and took everything in his stride.

To ride, Harry loves his hacking. He is bold and sensible, hacking happily alone or in company, and is never in a rush to catch up if left behind. He has a great little jump and would make a super fun all-rounder.

He has attended an unaffiliated showjumping show and absolutely loved it! Great to travel and load.

Harry has been ridden by riders of varying abilities and always takes care of his rider.

He is very easy to have on the yard, happy living in or out, and loads and travels well. Always eager to please.

Pocahontas II (“Susie”) - 14.2hh | 2008 | Proven 125cm+ | GOLD BSJA

Been there done it type, eye catching beauty.
Full up 148cm FEI 17 years SCHOOL MISTRESS
One in a Million Irish Sports pony, knows her job and loves her job! A real part of the family who’s loved by everyone!

I’ve had the pleasure of owning Susie for over a year and in that time she has taken my daughter from jumping 65cm to 1m15 and 1m30 at home. Everyone who knows Susie knows how unbelievably special she is.

Susie does everything and anything from hunting to show jumping he has done it all! She has a record competing at 1m10/1m15, BS and unaffiliated. She absolutely loves her jumping, she is careful with a beautiful pace. She would be the perfect 90cm/1m jumper for a teenager/ small adult to have some fun on. She would also be great at teaching a young competitive rider the ropes!

She really is part of the family and on the ground she can be handled by a toddler! Ideal mother/daughter share as she loves beach rides, fun rides and long hacks. All good to clip, shoe, bath, load etc, the usual.

This is the hardest thing I will ever have to do and homes will be vetted. I am of course open to any and every question regarding Susie as his new home is the most important thing to me.

Shes wasted potential at the moment and needs to be out having fun! I have loads more photos and videos on request.

Reason for sale is my daughter hasn’t grown as we thought. Her legs are not quite long enough to engage her buttons first time every time.
Yes we may regret this sale as my daughter grows older but unfortunately at the moment it’s the correct thing to do!

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

• Clear round – PC Eventer Challenge at Blenheim
• Placed in numerous hunter trials – absolutely loves XC

Top Class 148cm Irish Sports Horse Mare – Proven Foxhunter Winner including last weekend

Tori is a stunning 13-year-old Irish Sports Horse bay mare, standing on a lifetime 148cm measurement certificate. She is an incredibly scopey, careful and experienced competition pony with an outstanding record.

Just yesterday she won the Foxhunter at a recent show, ridden by a small 16-year-old girl, proving how genuine, rideable and competitive she is. Tori is exceptionally consistent and would be highly competitive at 90cm, 1m and 1.10m.

Competition Record Highlights:
• 826 BS points
• £1,770 in winnings
• Jumped Hickstead JC Final – placed 4th
• Multiple Foxhunter performances including a recent win

On the flat, Tori is very well schooled, balanced and established. She does have a bit of character and can be quirky, but with the correct rider she will be extremely competitive and will teach her rider an enormous amount.

She hacks out, though she does prefer company. In her past, she has also hunted regularly and proved herself to be an absolute machine over big hedges, even with a less experienced jockey—bold, brave and unstoppable in the field.

Breeding:
• Out of Harlequin Du Carel – excellent performance bloodlines.

This is a serious competition pony for a confident, competitive rider looking to move up the levels with a proven winner.

Smarite the super cob

Smartie is a real bundle of joy, a happy, kind pony who genuinely loves his work. He is forward going without being sharp and always feels safe and sensible to ride.

He is used to small adult riders but would equally suit a competent young jockey looking for a fun, confidence giving pony with a bit of engine.

Smartie works beautifully on the flat and would produce a really sweet test. He enjoys his showjumping and is super brave and bold cross country. He has also done a fair bit of hunting, and hunter trails which he absolutely loves.

He has impeccable manners, full known history, and is a genuine pleasure to have around. His owner would love to find him a forever home and, if possible, stay in touch.

Enzo is a 19 year old gelding and don't let his age put you off, his body is in mint condition and has legs better than most young ponies and he is never sick or sorry. Never spooky to a fence , snaffle mouthed and a real school master. He has so many years in him to help make special memories for someone as he has my daughter. She has won too many classes to mention in British showjumping , NSEA, pony club. He was double clear at the British showjumping National Championships 2025, He went triple clear in the Pony club regional Championships 2025 and was in the top 10 out of a ridiculous number, he was double clear at the NSEA National Championships. He won British showjumping last week but my daughter has 4 ponies at home and we only have a trailer so Enzo is just not getting out as much as he deserves and with the winter light not on our side. Went to Home pony International and was double clear every day.
He is not whizzy or crazy, he will go slowly but also so nimble and turns on a six Pence when asked and can be quick in a total snaffle mouthed way not when asked.
He is a winning machine at 70/80/90. He lives in or out with mares and geldings and can be left for weeks and just jump straight back on him. He has established flying changes and schools beautifully. Never bucks, bolts etc , good With the farrier and for teeth. He has competed in different countries in his youth jumping the biggest tracks.
He does not like hacking on his own but is great in company. We only ride on the roads hacking but I believe he has done some fun rides / XC previously but this is not our thing , we just showjump. Please watch the videos and he can be handled by kids etc. He has done lots of pony club rallies , pony club competitions , qualified for so many things showjumping.
He is not for a total novice home but Daddy will not buy a lorry and we don't have room for him with 2 others off to the shows.
All the videos are of my daughter on him.

Delilah is the ultimate allrounder and is safe, sane and sensible for anyone to ride; any mother’s dream pony. She would be the ultimate PC/RC pony.

She has turned her hoof to everything we’ve asked of her and regularly comes back with a rosette to show for it - dressage, SJ, XC, fun rides, beach rides, hunted, RC camp. She hacks alone and in company, rides and leads - has been hacked by granny and by my 4yo daughter. Snaffle mouthed, never strong or silly. A leg at each corner type, but not a kick a long plod.

Good to do in all ways, regularly handled by 4yo. Turns out with mares and geldings - currently living out. Has been to stay away shows and behaved impeccably.

Up to date with teeth, jabs, physio etc.

She was bought to restore some much needed confidence and has done that and so much more. Genuine reason for heartbreaking sale, lots of photos and videos available on request.

Her only fault is that she doesn’t like to travel in a trailer.

At least 2 professional references will be required of potential new homes - she really is a special pony and will only go to the perfect home.

Price includes her fitted tack and some rugs.

  • Handsome boy who loves to show off with great breeding - Synod & Menai lines

A handsome boy who loves to show off with flashy paces. His is a smart, fun, forward going pony but can be a typical spicy Welsh! Loves to be doing a job, loves being groomed & fussed. Think he enjoys being centre of attention.

NO NOVICES. Would suit a competent teenager or small adult who likes a forward going pony.

He has done both ridden & in hand showing with 2nd at county level qualifying for NPS champs. As a youngster (pre braking) did really well. Competed at both WH, SJ & dressage. Only done XC schooling but he loved it all. Stan has a cracking, bold jump and absolutely loves it taking you into a jump. Think he would be great out hunting or XC machine with someone who has the time to do it. He has great flat work & flashy paces but does need someone who knows how to school.

Hacks alone and in company but needs a confident rider as can sometimes be nappy at the start of the ride. I’ve taken him in huge fields, through woods, rivers, up banks, over logs, on main roads, past lorries & buses. He rides and leads or happy being led. Can do gates easily. Get on & off. Never bolted and always comes back when asked. Used to hack out with my dog.

Stan loves fuss and will stand to be groomed all day long. Loves being your centre of attention. He does pull faces sometimes over his stable door or in the stable esp. if eating his dinner! Can muck out/change rugs around him no issue. Gentle around my 2yr old son and handled by my novice mum with no issues. As long as you are firm to start he does take the p*** but would with someone that had no clue.
Perfect to clip, vet, load, travel, stands still at shows. Been to stay away shows no bother. Can be left in & out on his own. Currently kept with my other horse but not bothered when he goes. Barefoot with great feet.

Up to date on trimming, vacs, teeth, worming, physio.
He had stomach ulcers which were treated & not returned after 2.5yrs, also had his stifle injected over 3yrs ago again no recurrence which we think was linked with the ulcers. Vet history available & vettings welcomed.

I have owned him for 5 years now, so it’s an extremely sad sale as personal circumstances have changed. He hasn’t done as much in the last 2 years in terms of comps, due to having a baby but he’s fit and ready to go. 5* home essential. Hundreds of photos & videos and happy to chat about everything in more detail.

HACK / HUNT / JUMP

  • Suited to a confident teenager or small adult rider
  • Who wants to kick on and have lots of fun hacking, jumping and/or hunting

Very smart 14.1hh, rising 15 year old, New Forest, gelding.

Raffles is well schooled and an easy ride on the flat with well established lateral work.

He does however, prefer life outside of the arena and in his previous home has done lots of hacking both on and off road as well as on the beach. Recently he has proven himself to be a hugely enjoyable hack on the New Forest. This is something that he absolutely loves and he will be a great fit for someone wanting to do lots of off road hacking.

He is a super reliable jumper who is completely unfazed by the spookiest of fillers, water trays, steps, ditches or water. Has Evented and done lots of SJ and arena XC.

Has also hunted regularly in Jersey.

Great to catch, shoe, clip, in all the traffic we have met with him and loads and travels well on any lorry or trailer.

For sale as completely outgrown by his previous rider who has now moved onto horses.

The right home for Raffles is an absolute priority. He is true to his breed type in that he is a big personality and can be a cheeky chap on occasion. Has been know to throw in the occasional big buck when excited. Because of this, he is not suitable for a young child or inexperienced home. Best suited to a confident teenager or small adult rider who wants to kick on and have lots of fun hacking, jumping and/or hunting.

5* perfect and ideally permanent home is an absolute priority.

£5000- price is open to discussion for the right person. His owners are also happy to discuss the option of a long term loan home, or loan WVTB if it is the absolute perfect match of home and rider. The priority is that Raffles finds a permanent and loving home. All homes will be thoroughly vetted and references required.

  • Kind Farm Home Offered

Tentatively looking for a mother/daughter share (daughter is an adult).

Smart hunter/working hunter stamp of horse preferred looks wise.

Daughter broke her back last year and now feels ready to get back riding – so we need something safe and sensible. We have an experienced and knowledgeable farm home but ideally want a horse that has “been there and done it.” That said, the main requirement is a happy hacker and easy to deal with – the sort you can jump on or box up and go for a nice hack.

Requirements:
1. Must hack alone and in company
2. Not strong
3. 14.3hh – 15.3hh (for petite 5ft1 riders)
4. Bonus if seen hounds (may like to go hunting quietly a few times, but not essential)
5. Bonus if been to local shows – we enjoy popping into a class and then standing with a picnic and pimms!
Open to buy or loan.
Farm home in North Yorkshire.

The time has come to look for a new home for our very special 14.2h Chestnut Welsh X.

He is 16 years young but very full of life.

He's a very talented boy but also not for a novice rider and needs confidence from his rider to keep him on the straight and narrow.

With the right jockey he is an absolute dream pony who loves any job. He has lots of experience out competing and pony clubbing in recent years.

We have owned Jackson for 4 years and he has brought my daughter up the levels from 30-40s when she started out, right up to the 70-80 BS tracks.

He has qualified for PC Regionals in Dressage multiple times at different levels, and NSEA SJ & Dressage Champs, he has been to multiple camps and did everything asked of him no problem, he’s been to BS Spooktacular twice, BS Academy Champs, literally everywhere she wanted.

He has recently hunted and proved to have the time of his life up front jumping everything available

He is great to hack and will go front, middle or rear.

Snaffle mouth for everything except xc where he can be strong but nothing that my daughter couldn’t handle from age 11 ish

Fully up to date with everything, easy to clip, load, farrier etc.

Happy to be stabled or live out but I wouldn’t say he’d do well in a big herd environment

I have millions of pictures and videos available

10* homes only for our much loved special boy.

  • Qualified for HOYS and London 2025
Re advertised due to timewasters - no fault of his own.

Very sadly after 3 amazing years our gorgeous Mally is up for sale due to our daughter just being too big on him. Mally has bought her on from tiny cross poles age 6 up to competing at HOYS and London classes this year.

He is a brilliant competition pony who always scores well. He pops into a lovely steady rhythm over fences- never pulls or races off.

Qualified for HOYS Junior 122 cradlestakes 2025. Jockey errors meant no placing. Placed at LIHS 4th in cradle stakes and 8th in first ridden working sports pony.

Has already qualified for NPS summer champs cradlestakes 2026.

Has attended many stay away shows, travels like a dream, loves going to shows! Reliable in any environment. Been to 2 pony club camps, 2 riding club camps, pony club rallies, qualified for PC dressage champs, NSEA SJ 50cm and 60cm championships. Safe to hack alone / leads from another horse / in a group. Always brings our daughter home safely. Rosette machine.
His heart is in cradles and we would love him to find a home where he can carry on competing and winning.

Has cushings and requires restricted grazing. Never been a problem for us and is worth his weight in gold. Utterly reliable in any environment - never plugged / calmers. Minimal working in needed. LOVES his job.

Very sad sale - No more time wasters please. Needs a knowledgeable competition home where he can bring another little jockey on.

Please call if interested.
