Connemara 138cm Gelding 16YO, Competition Pony / Allrounder

Buddy has a full green Connemara passport with a lifetime 138cm measurement, out of Lady Kylemore, by Ashfield Echo I Love You. As a youngster, he successfully competed up to 110cm in Ireland, and has more recently been competing BS, NSEA and PC 70-90s qualifying for BS Stepping Stones Finals, Club and Schools 90cm. He is very genuine and loves his job, but needs a brave and balanced little jockey as he is forward to a fence and wants to go out and win!

We bought Buddy to show jump, but my son did some xc schooling at PC up to 80cm and he was always brave and willing, but would need to be reminded of this phase. He did some team chasing with his previous home and loves getting out on the gallops. He goes nicely on the flat, is responsive and knows his job with flying changes, walk to canter transition, etc.

He is easy on the ground to clip, shoe, box, catch, etc. and loves a cuddle. Relaxed with traffic and fun to hack, easy to lead off and lead, transitioning on command. Up to date with vaccinations, dentistry, worming, etc. Please note, he windsucks, but this has not affected his health in any way.

He is an older pony and has a long-healed check ligament injury. He has been out competing successfully since with several double clears and is fully fit and sound. My son has hopelessly outgrown him and has moved straight onto a 15.2HH.

He will only be sold to the very best home. Lots of videos upon request. Please contact me via WhatsApp on 07736 716000.

  • Experienced calm hunting pony wanted

  • Experienced long term home awaits
We're looking for an experienced hunting pony to hunt on and off the lead rein (with a walker), and on and off the lead rein next to a horse. If it can do camp and rallies too this is a bonus but not a necessity.

Must be experienced with busy packs and not fazed by it. We are looking for woah over go, a steady Eddie best friend for a keen but nervous hunting boy.

12-13.2hh - gelding. 7yrs+

This is the first boy, with two children coming on behind him so we expect to keep the pony in the family until the end of its days. Experienced home near Badminton awaits.

We can provide lots of references for ourselves.

Healthy budget for the right pony, or loan considered.

Whatsapp best contact method.

Experienced jumping pony , previously competed BS up to 1.15 and schooled bigger at home. Been in a non competitive home for the last 7 years (no fault of his own just rider preference) but has been out unaffiliated

Hero likes a kind, balanced and quiet rider but he is point and go at a fence and has a huge pop in him. He is buzzy to jump but works nicely on the flat. Good in all traffic and in open spaces. Very easy to handle on the ground and good to do in all ways

We’ve competed up to 70cm
Jumped up to 80 at home

Qualified in a team for junior series in 60cm

Easy to have, never sick or sorry, bare foot. Clipped last winter by our 10 year old. Kids can do anything with her.
My 11 year old hacks her out alone around our farm and so safe and trustworthy.

Tinker is a forward going pony and needs to be enjoyed by a child or small adult who wants to go out and keep her busy- jumps for fun and likes to go but equally has breaks and happily trot a 30/40 cross pole course. She is a kind and safe pony and just wants to please.

Crom is a top-quality, eye-catching and beautifully schooled, part-Welsh 128cm Gelding with a heart of gold.

Whilst super talented he is super safe and doesn't hot up. He is a child's best friend and will stand for hours to be fussed.

Crom has 424 SJI points, has successfully jumped major Irish venues and consistently placed up to 1.05m, qualifying for National Championships. He has been all over the Country competing with too many wins and placings to mention. Always easy away from home whether at camps or stay away shows.

He Events, arena Events, Showjumps, does NSEA and Pony Club as well as doing a stunning dressage test. He hacks beautifully alone or in company and is very safe in open fields being snaffle mouthed at all times. He would be a fresh face in the working hunter / sport performance pony classes which we think he would be very successful at.

Crom would make a super starter pony for a child who can competently canter or alternatively he is an incredible pony for an older child as he is so beautifully schooled, nicely off the child's leg and always polite.

Easy to handle, he is fit and ready for his next family to love. Sadly it's time for Crom to move on as he has now helped both children in the family progress. Time for him to make another child's dreams come true.

No health issues and super easy to keep.

Jimmy - allrounder ideal for RC / PC / hunting home

  • Connemara
  • Grey
  • Gelding
  • 10 years
  • 14.1 hands
  • Loves hunting
  • Great at rallies and camps
  • Would suit mother/daughter share
Jimmy is a much-loved 14 / 14.1hh Connemara gelding, now looking for his next home as he has sadly been outgrown.

We bought Jimmy four years ago as a 6-year-old for our daughter (then aged 12). Since then, he has been a fun Pony Club pony and all-rounder. He has attended three Pony Club camps, regular rallies and clinics, lessons both at home and away, show jumping competitions and hunter trials. He is the same at home as he is out and about. More recently, he has turned his hoof to trail hunting, which he clearly loves, having gone out with the Cambridgeshire University Drag Hounds.

Jimmy is an excellent hack, happy on the roads or out on tracks, alone or in company. He is very good in traffic and around farm machinery. He is suitable for all ages, currently being ridden by myself, my daughter and our neighbour's young children.

On the ground, he is easy to handle and is good to load, clip and shoe.

Jimmy is a classic Connemara with all the personality the breed is known for; a real family clown who loves to make funny faces and find something to play with. He would best suit a small, private yard. He is happy on his own for periods of time and can live in or out.

He is up to date with vaccinations, teeth, worming and physio.

He can be stuffy in a competition environment, but with confident riding and consistent training, this can improve.

Jimmy's price reflects the fact he has a few small sarcoids, however they do not affect his performance.

This is a very sad sale of a beloved pony who has provided us with endless laughs, entertainment and memories, so only 5* homes will be accepted.

Serious enquirers only: please call telephone number given.

Due to cutting down our lovely Dona is available. 128cm Mare

Dona is an out and out winner, she’s naturally quick without being strong - she can go in a snaffle or Pelham. She is happy to help a kid out and will go off any shot.

She has won most 1m classes she has entered, she has scope to burn and is incredibly clean over a fence.

My daughter hacks her in the woods on her own, she is super safe, not spooky or silly and my daughter thoroughly enjoys this time with her.

She would be ideal for somebody who wants a good chance at the stepping stones, cats and pipes, tiny tots, bronze and silver finals.

More details can be discussed upon enquiries.

No joy riders/time wasters.

Milo (Pigbush Nutcracker) is a well established 13.2hh New Forest gelding.

Before coming to us, he was in a Pony Club home where he attended rallies and went hunting.

He has been part of a busy riding school since 2017, doing everything from complete beginners through to more advanced riders, as well as working with the RDA. He has been handled and ridden by a wide variety of ages and abilities.

Milo is good to handle in all ways and is easy to clip, shoe, bath and manage, both on the yard and at shows. He is great in open spaces and enjoys getting out and about.

He has been out competing, including taking part in British Horse Society competitions at Pickering Grange over the past two years. He has also competed in BUCS competitions in both dressage and showjumping. He is nicely schooled on the flat and established in his work.

Milo hacks regularly and is great on the road. He is happy to go alone or in company and is a regular on group hacks, where he is always very well behaved.

He is used to children handling him in the stable, including nervous riders as well as more excitable and inexperienced ones, and takes it all in his stride.

Recently, Milo has not been going forward in the riding school environment as he once did. However, when a more established rider gets on, he quickly returns to his usual self. We therefore feel he would be much happier in a more one to one home.

He is currently barefoot, up to date with teeth and regularly seen by the chiropractor. He has passed annual vettings with no issues.

Milo would suit a knowledgeable and kind home looking for a fun, capable pony with plenty to offer

Doesn’t need daily riding or lots of work, happy to be left then dragged out of the field and will still be perfect.

Always fit and well, totally sound with no health issues or lameness. Good in all ways.

Happy in or out and hacks alone and in company.

Lovely pony to be around, follows you around the field like a dog - he has a lovely character.

Mayfly Emerald - 140cm Registered Connemara Gelding, 13yr Old

The definition of super cool !

A slight framed sporty frame make this versatile chap a real tool for the right family offering years and years more smiles and fun

This pony has more noted on his CV than many I've seen before.

A PC legend. Having attended lots so Pony club, riding club and training camps. A real old pro. Box him up, drop the ramp and it's like he's been there and done it all before - that would be because he probably has !!

A seasoned hunter. Bold brave first or last. Any fence any country - galloping or hillside. He's keen to undertake the role. Has been hunted twice a week this season and come into us fit clipped and ready for a summer of fun.

A common household name in the team chasing world. A regular attendee who although he has small legs is not to be underestimated.

Summer fun comes in the form of fun rides and would also make a great endurance sort as enjoys being at peak fitness and having a job to get stuck into

Show jumping he remains unfazed by fillers and bigger fences. A real adjustable stride and rideable around a course.

Hacking he's happy alone and in company. Has met lots of traffic with us and isn't a spooky snorting sort in the slightest. We have lots of disrespectful drivers to contend with and we are always grateful for his sensible attitude for keeping the younger riders safe

Not a sick and sorry pony. Never unsound or unsure. Hardy and a good dooer for a sporty pony.

Does have mild COPD - this is managed by if possible 24hr turn around but a well ventilated stable / stall has proven to previously work well for him aswell. He doesn't require any medication just management.

Sadly not suited to a novice or first pony home as can get forward when at faster events such as hunting or chasing. And with his love of life we feel he doesn't deserve to be wasted.

Loads well into a trailer and a lorry well and travels impeccably.

Perfect to catch and is currently turned out in a mixed herd and is no bother.

Wormed, vaccinated and shod to date

Delivery options available
Open to any viewings and vetting

Be quick because ponies like him are really not easy to find !!

Renkum Grenadier (Blue)
13.1hh grey gelding, 2009

A very sad sale of a much-loved family pony who has taken our son from learning the ropes through to being competitive.

Blue is a genuine all-round Pony Club and schools pony with an excellent record. He has also been part of British Showjumping Academy teams and has experience in BS classes.

2026 qualified Blue Chip discovery finals, cats and pipes finals, stepping stones finals

He is a kind, straightforward pony who knows his job well. He will happily look after a rider while still being competitive and fun.

He enjoys all aspects of his work, particularly cross country and arena eventing where he is bold and genuine. He is also consistent showjumping and hacks alone without issue.

Easy to do in all ways. A pleasure to have on the yard.

A much-loved and genuine all-rounder looking for his next home after 5 wonderful years with us. He has given both of our girls endless fun and confidence and is now ready to do the same for another family.

Although he holds a life height certificate at 14.2, he measures closer to 15.1, making him a perfect step-up between pony and horse.

18 years young and certainly doesn't act his age - he knows his job and looks after his rider.

Handled regularly by children & kind and easy to manage. Can ride and lead.

Hacks confidently alone or in company. Great with traffic / farm machinery / loud noises.

Our girls have competed regularly at pony club and NSEA comps. Lots of rosettes and qualifications.

Jumps comfortably up to 90cm and enjoys his jumping. My daughter jumps higher at home and at rallies but would say he is most comfortable competing up to 90cm.

Lovely dressage test & has scored 70% at Novice level

XC with pony club and various rallies

Good to lunge and on the Pessoa

Easy to catch and handle

Lives happily with both mares and geldings

Full history known, with contact with previous owner

He is a genuine, fun horse who has been a huge part of our family and is ready to give someone else just as much enjoyment.

A Few Minor Points (as no horse is perfect!):

Prefers travelling in a lorry or herringbone trailer. Can be reluctant to load in a forward facing trailer, but manageable with encouragement (previous owner had a trailer)

Doesn't like being left alone in the stable when others are turned out

Had hocks injected last year & may need doing again in future, though our vet is very happy with him

Previously had a melanoma removed (common in grey horses). No issues but was near the girth so didn't want it to rub.

For clipping, we give a mild sedation mainly for around the head & not always essential, but makes the process quicker and stress-free. I have videos of clipping with and without sedation.

Located in West Sussex

Sold with bridle, girth, rugs, etc.

Saddle (purchased for just under £2,000 last year) available by separate negotiation

A truly special horse who has been a pleasure to own. Finding the right home is our absolute priority.

I have motivated clients looking for genuine, kind, quality and proven ponies to take part in all Pony Club activities.

The ponies I would love to hear about are those not needing to be advertised to secure a new home. There’s no harm in finding out whether I know of a better home and match. Perhaps you worry about your child finding it upsetting seeing their old pony regularly at rallies etc - then selling out of area could be a better solution.

These are motivated buyers receiving guidance as to what will likely suit their child - not the timewasters regularly reported. In most cases homes are also knowledgeable: simply lacking in time to conduct a search themselves. Most will also wait for the right pony so if you are not ready to sell yet, that’s not an issue.

There are some decent budgets available relative to age and medical conditions etc.

All leads will be handled with discretion.

Top Track 128 17 year old JA Irish Mare

PRICE NOW NEGOTIABLE AS RIDER IS OUT OF 128s

We bought Sky for my daughter's last year on 128s in the hope she would be able to gain some experience jumping the bigger tracks. Together they achieved more than we could of hoped for qualifying for

Hickstead 128 winter final 2025
Royal Highland Show 128 championship 2025
Graham Heath Final 2025
128 Handicap Final
POYS 128 Grand Prix
128 Gold league 2024/2025

Sky is without a doubt one of the straightest Ponys on the circuit. She has never stopped. She will always bring your child through the start and finish. Will jump off any stride, over anything she’s pointed at. She gives the kids buckets of confidence as they can trust her to get them to the other side of a fence. She will take you to a jump but has breaks. She has never bucked, reared or bolted. Gold league pony through and through, the bigger the fence the better and she loves her job. Will happily step down for a younger child around smaller tracks or give them confidence over the bigger fences.

No vices, up to date with everything, fit, sound and ready to go. She is a lovely mare to have on the yard, hacks on her own, clips and loads like a dream.

SERIOUS ENQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE. NO DAY DREAMERS OR TYRE KICKERS.
