We are looking for a superstar pony for our petite 8 year old (120cm) approx 11.2 - 12.2hh

He is walking, trotting and cantering off the lead and currently trotting small courses up to about 40cm.

We are looking for a kind, experienced pony who can hold his hand and help his confidence soar and safely take him out to competitions - primarily dressage and showjumping. Must know their job and not constantly test as the nerves can sometimes creep in.

Will have a varied life to include lessons, beach rides, farm picnic rides, hacking, NSEA and pony club.
Must go for little legs and be suitable for a child to handle.

We would love a true child’s best friend - the sort you can do fancy dress on at your local show, go to camp or stay aways without them getting unsettled and most importantly, something that enjoys lots of cuddles and kisses!

Some minor health conditions considered as long as disclosed and reflected in the price.

We are an experienced family home and have a younger sibling waiting in the wings, so would like something that we can treasure for many years.

Has been lightly introduced to dressage. On first dressage outing qualified for the National Schools Equestrian Association Dressage Final.

Ideally the pony will be good on the ground, safe to hack and over 7 years old. We will consider some quirks if disclosed.

The pony will live at home with our horses and ponies and will want for nothing.

Mentos has been there and done it and his current best friend has sadly out grown him.

He is the perfect step up from first ridden. He is super chill and not strong or silly. Has done all sorts including pony club, dressage, showing, jumping xc and even scurry driving. Beautiful nature good in the field with other ponies. Would suit a family where can get loved and pampered as he deservesy.

Good to bath, load, farrier etc. Enjoys hacking alone or in company.

Has to be sedated to clip

Has also been ridden on the lead rein at a show with a 1 year old toddler.

He really does have a heart of gold.

Genuine and Kind 14.1hh Gypsy Vanner Cob, 18 Years Old

A gorgeous, kind-natured cob who has been a pleasure to own. Excellent to hack alone or in company and loves fun rides, with a confident, bold jump.

Good to box and shoe. Not currently clipped, but has been hogged and clipped in the past with no issues.

He has a very gentle temperament – my 10-year-old daughter, with no prior riding experience, has ridden him. He prefers hacking and fun rides to schooling, as he can get bored in the arena.

Ridden in a rubber bit; can occasionally be strong, but always remains responsive and sensible.

He has mainly lived in a mixed herd and is happy living out 24/7.

This is a very sad sale of a lovely, genuine boy who deserves more time and attention than I can give him. A kind, caring home is an absolute priority.

He has the most beautiful balanced paces, works naturally in a soft contact, always snaffle mouthed.

Mr Tom would excel at showing due to his family being Hoys winners, he would be a strong contender for veteran classes.
He loves to jump, and in the past has competed in unaffiliated showjumping, xcountry and ode.

He is great to hack alone or in company, totally unfazed by traffic, we hack on very busy roads.

Mr Tom has a temperament to die for!
He is super kind and extremely well mannered in all aspects.
Great to catch, shoe, clip, vet, groom, bath, load, travel, the list goes on…
Just a real pleasure to be around.

He would suit a petite confident rider, maybe a mother daughter share.
He would NOT be suitable for a Novice or Nervous rider due to him being a sensitive ride, he can be spooky at times and forward when first going into canter.
This is not an issue if you’re a capable rider and when he’s in regular work.

He would not be suitable for someone coming off riding school ponies.

He is clean limbed, very low mileage for his age, has mainly been hacked and lightly schooled for the past year due to owner having a baby.

He has not competed for a few years either so would need to be slowly reintroduced to the competition scene.

He is currently in light work and in his winter wollies.

Passport, vaccinations, teeth and worming all up together.
