Very sad and reluctant sale of our handsome Connemara pony Joey. We have owned him since February 2020 and he had done nothing but hacking and the lady who owned him was quite nervous and so he had done very little. Joey is 100% in all respects catch, box (box or trailer), farrier, vet, sheath cleaner, dentist and is a dream to clip he practically falls asleep ! and has no vices.

Has been competed mainly in showing and dressage classes and he excels in these, he has done well in riding club pony, WHP and loves a day at Somerford Park over the natural fences and through the water. Could make a great event pony.

His education was a bit hit and miss due to covid 19 , then owners medical problems, and my granddaughter who is the jockey going off to Reaseheath college for a 2 year course. Joey did go to college at first but he hated it so we brought him home and he now only gets ridden at the weekends if the weather permits !

We as a family feel it is unfair to keep Joey as he is wasted and would make someone very happy as he loves to please and has a lot to give and he will go much further in the right hands , it goes without saying it is a heartbreaking sale for us & will be sadly missed.

Whilst Joey has a good pop in him he has had limited exposure to showjumping as it was not my granddaughters preference she preferred showing. But as you will see from the photos he shows a great deal of promise. With that said with the right jockey i am sure he can go far.
Joey is realistically priced to sell and quality tack and a full wardrobe can be negotiated at extra cost.

Has had HWSD genetic testing - so no worries there

Ella is a very sweet and smart well put together pony with good conformation, along with flashy paces and a nice clean scopey jump.

I have broken Ella in myself and she really has been a pleasure to work with she was very laid back, long reined over the chase seeing bikes dogs ect and not batting an eyelid. And took to riding so very well and with a mature outlook.

gentle and so very kind.

Ella is has already shown to be very versatile with her riders and capabilities from happily jumping a small course of show jumps and cross country fences on or off lead rein with her youngest rider aged just 3!
She Has also had children more experienced aged from around 6-8 and still happily popping a few fences and going on hacks. Not strong or silly.

She will hack on her own or in company and can be led from other horses.

Ella will make a fabulous Lead rein/first Ridden pony and would be a great advocate for Pony club activities from jumping to dressage, camps and rallies, not forgetting her prospects in the showing ring where she has already shown her ability.

Very sad sale of our beautiful pony. She has been with us for 6 years taking my child from being a nervous rider at 5 to loving her dressage and showjumping. My daughter has sadly outgrown her.

Over the last 6yrs that she has been with us we have taken her to all our local shows, XC schooling, PC camps, trailblazers, she has done showing first ridden and working hunter she has been an absolute star! Winning the first ridden and the working hunter at ESUK.

She has done stay away shows and has been great to settle. In the last couple of years she has been out with our local blood hounds and was impeccably behaved.

She rides very sensibly in big open spaces and is great XC and will ride calmly alone or in company.

Very good out Hacking and is good with all road and farm traffic, and will go alone or with a group.

Qualified regional champs dressage 2023, 2024 and 2025

Manners at a show that are impeccable, happy to stand quietly at the trailer and she loads like clockwork.

Grace’s stable manners are fantastic - she is kind to handle by children and will stand for hours with them to be groomed and pampered, she great with the farrier/ dentist and to clip.

Happy to be turned out with others or alone and she is easy to catch, lead in and tie up.

Much loved family pony that has all the highest of references from local pony clubs - Grace has taught my daugther the ropes in PC Dressage and SJ and only deserves a 10* home!!

Twiggy is a stunning very well bred welsh section B. She is a blood pony full of quality. She has clean limbs ,good feet,no lumps,bumps or sarcoids.

We brought her earlier in the year unbroken, where she had spent her life so far on the welsh hill's! Shes been a super star to do everything with and has taken to ridden life very well.

She is working well on the flat, popping a course of fences,hacking alone and in company. Has been XC schooling Inc water.

So far she has been out to unaffiliated dressage scoring just under 65 percent in both her tests and picking up two placings.
She has had placings in local showjumping 50/60 cm but with miles on the clock will have plenty more in the tank. Has recently been out to a local riding club show and was placed in the ridden showing. She did clear round X poles with my 4yo boy on the lead rein ... she is quite happy with him bouncing around on her back (as he refuses to rise) . She also did the fancy dress class .... and was an absolute saint being dressed up as a minion!! ... im not sure there are many 5 yo ponies that would do this ...Very well behaved in the collecting ring.

Shes good on the ground,likes little people, My son grooms her and leads her. She has been produced by my 64 yo mum ( 7 1/2 stone ) along side my son on the lead rein.. she has also been ridden by a friend of ours daughter who is 10.

A lovely young pony that could be produced on to do any job ... a very sane and sensible head but obviously not yet the finished article so experienced parent that can produce along side or do ground work would be ideal.
