Beautiful 14.1hh bay roan 12 years old Gelding. We have owned Scooby for the last 4 years he has been a wonderful second pony for my daughter but now hopelessly outgrown.

He has done everything show jumping (70 cm) , xc, dressage , hacking across the mendips, great in open spaces. He is snaffle mouthed he would be happy doing poles on the ground, x poles and also jumping small courses.

He is beautifully schooled competed two weeks ago , he won a high standard prelim class with 68+% he will be going out in the next couple of weeks in Novice. He has lateral work, flying changes and medium trot/canter.

He is perfect to load/travel , stand for hours at shows, hack alone or in company up the mendips. When hacking our lanes we always ride in company , he is brilliant the only thing he doesn’t like is tractors but if you put him in a driveway he will watch it go past. Scooby has a small amount of medical history that I would be happy to discuss with interested people.

On the flat Princess works in a soft consistent outline with 3 quality paces, Clean limbed so has the potential to show/working hunter too.

To hack Princess will go infront or behind, happily pops ditches and canters out sweetly without getting fresh.

`Beautifully Polite on the ground a real pleasure to have around.

I could go on about Copper all day, a pony who I really feel has it all and I will be very sad to see him go.

Copper has been with me just under a year now and he does it all.

To start with Copper is a complete gentleman on the ground he is cuddly and loving but polite in all ways. Good to clip, box, trim/shoe, dentist tie up etc.

On the flat copper works sweetly and correctly in three beautiful rhythmic paces, the dressage judges love him.

Copper has show jumped up to 90cm and has scope for way more, he never stops, is mega honest and not at all spooky or silly with fillers.

Copper is incredible XC so bold and fearless, jumps ditches, into water, anything you point him at on whatever stride, he has competed in a few events last year and was fantastic every time.

Copper had 3months off over the winter, he was good as gold to get back into work, I then hunted him - we both had the best time and he was fantastic to hunt jumping everything - standing quietly between lines and at the meet.

Overall Copper is a one of a kind pony and anyone that would be lucky enough to have him would be the luckiest person alive!

‘Curry Freddie’ is a beautiful young pony with so much to offer. A forward going willing type the Oozes talent.

We have produced ‘Sally’ in a kind sympathetic way meaning she has 3 balanced paces working beautifully on the flat. Naturally Sally has 3 fantastic paces and shows great potential for some fantastic dressage scores in the future.

To jump Sally is bold and good with fillers she has every intention of getting her rider to the other side of the fence. Proving to be carful and enjoys her jumping.

Currently has Popped a ditch and some rustic fences proving bold and keen.

On the ground Sally is a loving kind pony who stands to be tacked up and loved. She has even been ridden by a two year old.

Overall I feel Sally has all the attributes to be a very smart event pony.

  • Experienced family home
  • Offering a varied and fun
  • For a wonderful, kind soul

We are looking for a superstar pony for our petite 8 year old (120cm) son ranging from 11.2 - 12.2. Would even consider a sporty shetland.

He is confidently walking and trotting off the lead. Canter is still wobbly. He is trotting over small cross poles.

He is a wonderful, kind soul with a quiet determination and big dreams and needs a pony who will help to get him fully established in all paces off the lead and introduce him further to jumping. Something that can possibly fill a first and second pony role.

Will have a varied life to include lessons, hacking, NSEA jumping competitions and pony club.

We are an experienced family home and have a younger sibling waiting in the wings, so would like something that we can treasure for many years.

Sensible budget

Meet Sugar! The pony I wish I’d bought as my daughters very first pony! We’ve had Sugar just over one year and she has taken my daughter from trotting round a course of x poles to cantering courses and winning up to 60cm classes.

I wish I’d bought her 4 years ago when my daughter was learning to ride as she’s so safe and sensible my 2yr old niece has ridden her!

This is such a sad sale but my daughter wants to start on the BS route and we need something that’s happy jumping up to 1.05 and unfortunately that’s not Sugar. She’s a winning machine all day up to 60cm and has an Irish record of winning up to 70cm but that’s her max for a course really.

She never bucks or rears and is just the most super fun pony that’s completely safe hacking alone or with friends. I have HUNDREDS of videos of her out on the New Forest jumping ditches and cantering off ahead with friends. She’s done fancy dress shows, XC, pony club and is as perfect as they come.

5* home essential as Sugar is a very special pony. Good to load, shoe etc.

Where do I start. Immy is one of the sweetest, bravest and honest ponies I've ever had the chance to own.

She has been with us since last year and since then we have done pretty much everything together.

We go out most weekends to compete, nice hacks or just arena hires. She’s impeccably well behaved and self loads onto our trailer.

She hacks out in the heaviest of traffic on the buckle end, she absolutely loves jumping and dosnt look at anything, she wouldn’t know how to stop . All she wants is to get to the other side.

She’s a buzzy pony that wants to please her rider, she has no ridden vices but she can be a keen ride at times so for this id say no novices but she’d suit most riders be it a small adult who wants to dabble in everything or a competitive young rider.

She will happily go in open spaces for a canter with large groups then come straight back to walking on the buckle.

She’s up to date with pretty much everything , she’s barefoot and super cheap and easy to keep so she’s really is the full package.

I’m currently using a friends tack so whilst she dosnt come with a saddle I’m happy to help out with rugs/transport etc.

She loves a fuss, she falls asleep when she’s had her physio (purely maintenance along with my showjumpers)

She enjoys a bath with our hot shower.

And really nice pony to be around.

There’s much more to say so please get in touch, no time wasters she is only for sale due to lack of space and other horse commitments.

I got Heidi at the beginning of the year in a pretty bad state! She’s now well up to weight and looks super.

She’s very sweet to deal with, can be abit stand off with new people that go in her stable for the 1st time but no badness.
She’s led around the yard by my 6year old.

We have have done plenty of ground work with her, she’s green but walk/trots and canters around the arena.

We havnt got a rider here all the time for her so she is just ridden when I have someone small enough!

She was previously driven with her last owners. Great little project for someone to play about with over the winter. She really jumps to!

I rescued him and his mum when he was only weeks old. I am in absolutely no rush and he will only be sold when I find him his forever home and his best friend for life, otherwise he will stay with me. Homes will be vetted.

He was very successfully shown as a foal and a yearling with myself and is the most incredible stamp of a cob and a true showman! Every time we went out the comments from the judges would blow me away! He really is one in a million. However with all the will in the world, showing just isn’t me, i enjoyed what we did together but he was born to be in the ring and sadly I wasn’t and my heart just isn’t in it. I will start breaking him this spring when he turns 3 years old but his price will go up accordingly. It will break my heart to let him go but he has just become a pet and a companion and it seems such a shame when he has so much potential to go all the way. Please don’t get me wrong, if the right person doesn’t come along he will stay with me for the rest of his days, but I am just seeing if that person is out there waiting for him.

He will be three years old in spring 2025, he’s very easy going, wants to be everyone’s friend, loves a fuss.
Currently standing at 12.2hh I expect him to mature to 13.2hh
Good to handle in every way, will live in or out, comes to call, leads, ties up, travels well, good to clip, good for the farrier and vet, happily wears rugs and doesn’t destroy them! Has a TGCA passport, microchip and is fully vaccinated, worming, physio, teeth and farrier all up to date.
He would make a fantastic kids pony!

I have tons of videos and photos of him.

No dealers, no time wasters, no loans, no payment plans. Serious enquiries only. Homes will be vetted.

Based East Riding of Yorkshire

I am very busy at the moment so please message me not ring, calls can be scheduled if I feel you sound like the home/person that I am searching for for him

Mona and Inka are a mother daughter duo who came into the centre in March 2025. They are looking for a home where they can stay together.

Mona is a lovely little Shetland pony with a kind heart and gentle spirit, now looking for a special home to call her own. She has a calm temperament and enjoys the company of both people and other ponies. Mona is well-mannered and would make a wonderful companion pony.

Inka loves attention, enjoys being groomed, and gets along well with other ponies. She’s ideal for a family with experience in caring for ponies or a companion home where she can enjoy a peaceful and loving environment.

Due their type they do require restricted grazing. They are currently out during the day and in overnight on a woodchip area.

Can you offer Mona and Inka a loving home together?

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Kind pony with snaffle mouth. Lives in or out. Good in traffic.

Shown locally in hand and ridden. Super conformation and moves well with forward active paces.

Taken jumping going clear round small courses. Taken to gallops behaving beautifully.

Good to clip and children can lead him.

Im looking for a kind home that will love Henry and bring out his full potential. I have owned him 12 months and spent a lot of time with him as he had been neglected.

My rider is now very tall and he has a great future in an experienced home.

Please ring if you are genuinely interested. I dont want endless messages.

I have lots more photos to show people upon viewing.

Passport, feet, vaccinations, worming up to date .

We are located near Junction 3 of the M42.
