‘Curry Freddie’ is a beautiful young pony with so much to offer. A forward going willing type the Oozes talent.

We have produced ‘Sally’ in a kind sympathetic way meaning she has 3 balanced paces working beautifully on the flat. Naturally Sally has 3 fantastic paces and shows great potential for some fantastic dressage scores in the future.

To jump Sally is bold and good with fillers she has every intention of getting her rider to the other side of the fence. Proving to be carful and enjoys her jumping.

Currently has Popped a ditch and some rustic fences proving bold and keen.

On the ground Sally is a loving kind pony who stands to be tacked up and loved. She has even been ridden by a two year old.

Overall I feel Sally has all the attributes to be a very smart event pony.

Mona and Inka are a mother daughter duo who came into the centre in March 2025. They are looking for a home where they can stay together.

Mona is a lovely little Shetland pony with a kind heart and gentle spirit, now looking for a special home to call her own. She has a calm temperament and enjoys the company of both people and other ponies. Mona is well-mannered and would make a wonderful companion pony.

Inka loves attention, enjoys being groomed, and gets along well with other ponies. She’s ideal for a family with experience in caring for ponies or a companion home where she can enjoy a peaceful and loving environment.

Due their type they do require restricted grazing. They are currently out during the day and in overnight on a woodchip area.

Tango came onto our Home Direct scheme in April 2025, he is being rehomed from his current home based in Ipswich.

Tango is looking for a home as a project pony where he can continue the backing process. Tango has done a lot of groundwork, we believe he will make a lovely ridden pony or even a driving pony! He would also make the most loving companion pony.

Tango can live with both mares and geldings; he can also stay alone for short periods of time.

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

Little ‘chilli’ is with me on sales livery due to being out grown and owner moving on to college. This was a very hard sale and something her family thought over for months before finally making the decision to let her go.

She is a beautiful pony inside and out. Nothing less than a pleasure to have on the yard. Perfect to box, clip, shoe , groom, bath etc!! Used to being handled by children and loves nothing more than standing around for hours to be pampered in the sunshine. Lives in or out and is just super low maintenance to own

Loves to hack out alone or in company. She’s reliable in the heaviest of traffic , golden in open spaces. Chilli is a bit of a cheeky mare and if she sees an opportunity to mess you around then she will take this. However thrives off authority and if she knows what is expected of her , you will never have a days trouble.

Chilli has been to hundreds of unaffiliated show jumping shows and is always competitive. She’s a real fun yet very sensible mare. She absolutely loved to jump and would be perfect for a bit of pony club!! Also jumps XC and loved that just as much!!

Loves funrides and beach rides etc! A pony that loves absolutely any job giving to her. Ideal mother / daughter share , perfect confidence giving type, second pony type - not for a complete novice or nervous as a little too clever for that!
