• Molly is a safe, reliable and fun little pony
• Molly is suitable for light happy hacking
• Looking to enjoy a quieter life as a companion and/or light hack

Molly is a much-loved, genuinely kind and straightforward 14hh Irish Coloured Cob mare who has been a very special member of our family for the past three years.

She has been brought on slowly as a mother-and-daughter all-rounder and has been completely trusted by my 13-year-old daughter. Over the past three years she has enjoyed a wonderful variety of activities including Pony Club, camp, clinics, cross country, show jumping, dressage, fun rides and mounted games.

Molly is a safe, reliable and fun little pony with a lovely attitude. She is never naughty or bolshy, but is responsive and enjoyable to ride when sound. She hacks happily alone or in company, is completely unbothered by traffic and is good in open spaces. She enjoys popping a small fence when sound.

She is also exceptionally straightforward on the ground. Molly loads happily into both a trailer and horsebox and is good for the farrier, vet, dentist and clipping. She is currently barefoot, although she has previously been shod in front. She lives out in a herd during the summer and comes in at night during the winter, although she is equally happy living out 24/7 but her weight does need to be managed.

Important veterinary information

Sadly, over the past year it has become clear that Molly’s conformation and joint health mean that she is not able to cope reliably with the level and variety of work we had hoped to continue doing with her.

Molly has been fully investigated by our vet. Her hocks were treated with steroid injections in May and subsequently Arthramid, with the intention of allowing her to continue with appropriate work. Following a period of harder ground and a busy summer, including Pony Club camp and various activities, she subsequently showed intermittent mild lameness in front.

Our vet’s view is that Molly’s joints are likely to struggle with regular, strenuous or varied ridden work, particularly on hard ground. She consistently comes sound with rest.

Importantly, our vet has confirmed that Molly is suitable for light happy hacking, but is not suitable for strenuous ridden work. Our vet is very happy to discuss her investigations, findings, treatment and suitability with any genuinely interested prospective home.

The right home

This is an incredibly sad sale. Molly is very loved and we would not be looking for a new home for her if she were able to continue doing the work our daughter now wants to do. Our daughter has also sadly outgrown her.

We are therefore looking for a very special, knowledgeable home where Molly can enjoy a quieter life as a companion and/or light happy hacker, (jockeys to be ideally under 10 stone) with her workload managed carefully and her joints taken into consideration.

Molly has so much to offer the right person. She is a kind, safe, fun and wonderfully genuine little mare who has given us three fantastic years and has been trusted completely by our daughter. She deserves a home where she can be appreciated for all her wonderful qualities without being asked to do more than her joints can comfortably manage.

Price: £2,750 reflecting her joint issues.

A genuinely loving and knowledgeable home is essential and prospective homes will be carefully considered. We would much rather wait for the right home than simply sell her quickly.

13.3hh | 10yo | Grey Gelding |

Benji really has been there, done it and got the T-shirt! A super, fun all-rounder who would make a fantastic Pony Club, BS or competition pony for a confident young rider wanting to have plenty of fun.

Benji has a great attitude towards his work and particularly loves his jumping. Most recently, he has been on loan to a 10-year-old boy, taking part in tetrathlon, weekly Pony Club rallies, clinics and showjumping competitions. He has jumped clear around 70cm and 80cm tracks and qualified for Hickstead at both 60cm and 70cm. He has plenty of scope to progress further and has happily jumped up to 1m at home for fun.

Prior to this, Benji has enjoyed a wonderfully varied life and has been ridden by a range of children. He has taken part in fun rides, showing, beach rides, cross-country and hunting. He is a lovely stamp of a pony and has also comfortably carried small teenagers and adults.

We would love to find Benji a home where he can continue to enjoy an active lifestyle. He would be ideally suited to a confident rider who already has a good foundation in their riding and is looking for a fun pony to get out and enjoy across a variety of disciplines.

Benji's full history is known from a foal, with plenty of photos and videos available. He is good to hack, shoe, clip, load into a box or trailer, tie up and groom. He has only seen the vet for routine vaccinations and is up to date with his physio, dentist and farrier. He is currently happily living out with others but is equally content coming into a stable.

This is a very sad sale due to a change in his owner's circumstances. Benji is a super little pony with lots to offer and is ready to find his next rider to go out and have fun with straight away.

Beautiful 14.1hh Welsh Sec D Mare

Breed: Welsh Section D

Age: 7 years old

Height: 14.1hh

Color: Black with striking white blaze & single white sock

Location: South Yorkshire

Ali is a very loving mare who oozes potential. My youngest daughter has safely ridden and hacked her since age 8, and my older daughter—who can be a nervous rider—rides her out with ease. She has done hacking, arena hires, low-level jumping, and pleasure rides, proving to be a kind, reliable, and fun pony.

She is a sweet, honest, and loving mare who adores people, treats, and endless bum scratches. She has zero malice—she does not buck, rear, or bolt. With beautiful, floaty paces and excellent natural scope over a fence, she has real potential to perform well in dressage, showing, or jumping with the right rider.

She would also make a dream riding school pony, as she thrives in group environments, loves people, and would excel with a predictable routine.

The Highlights:

Jumping Potential: Shows fantastic technique and plenty of natural scope over a fence. When confident, she is a point-and-go ride who handles the rest.

Hacking: Fantastic in company, preferring to follow but can and does pop in front to build confidence. Handles heavy traffic (tractors, bin lorries, motorbikes, barking dogs) with ease. Hacks alone quietly, though may need a lead past something new.

Fun & Forward: Calm and chilled when riding at home or on arena hires, but brings a fun, forward, and eager energy to hunting and pleasure rides—jumping everything in front of her, including hedges, ditches, and drains.

Easy Keeper & Great Manners: Barefoot, easy to catch, and straightforward to load. Great for the farrier and can live in or out.

Top-Tier Care: 100% up to date with farrier, teeth, physio, and vaccinations. No lumps, bumps, or sarcoids. Clean limbs and excellent overall health. She is a solid, healthy mare who I am confident would pass any vetting.

Honest Notes & Competition Profile (Full Transparency):

Competition Environment: While calm and confident at home or during arena hires (with or without friends), she currently loses confidence in busy, away-from-home competition settings. Her lack of confidence presents as stress—she can sweat up and at times become reluctant to move forward, requiring a lead or reassuring rider to keep going. With time, patience, and exposure, we believe she will overcome this. For showjumping, she would suit an experienced rider looking for a project to develop further.

Clipping: Requires sedation to be clipped safely and stress-free.

Yard Routine (FOMO): Loves her herd! Fine being stabled or led in alone, but prefers not to be the last pony left behind in the yard when others head out (she will pace her stable and neigh if left behind).

Ulcer History: Had a brief spell of mild, saddle-related ulcers in the past due to changing shape as she filled out. Fully treated, resolved, and maintained with regular professional saddle checks. Full medical history is available.

Reason for Sale: My younger daughter wants to compete, and has moved onto an older, more experienced pony.

Full vetting is welcomed.

• Cute and cuddly - ready for his own person

Sherlock (Crabswood Zonza) is a very sweet, well bred 4 year old New Forest gelding, he’s 13.3hh and has a little more filling out to do as he matures. He is still young and green but he is a genuinely kind pony with a lovely attitude to life. He is not nasty, sharp or silly and has no history of bucking, rearing, napping etc.

He hacks alone or in company and has been out and about nicely. He has jumped a couple of logs/XC fences out hacking and takes everything in his stride. He is not a plod but also not sharp or silly. He has started doing some small showjump courses and is very willing to learn. He is still green and will need a competent rider to continue his education and bring out his full potential.

Sherlock has a lovely nature. He is super easy to handle and is a pleasure to have around the yard. He’s easy to catch, load, clip, groom, tack up and for the farrier/vet. Professionally backed and broken. No vices and never been sick or sorry. Vaccinated. Lives in or out with mares and geldings.

Sherlock would suit someone looking for a lovely young New Forest to put their own stamp on. He has a fantastic attitude and, with the right education and experience, we think he has a very bright future ahead of him.

We will continue to produce him until he is sold.

Struan of Achnacarry is a 4-year-old, 13.2hh registered Highland gelding with the kindest, most willing personality. He was lightly backed and turned away in December 2025, and has been in full work throughout spring/summer 2026.

He absolutely loves his hacking, alone or in company. Is good with traffic, bikes and machinery. Can be ridden in an open field with no concern. In the school, he tries his very best and has been introduced to polework.

Struan has been ridden by a range of ages and abilities, from children to adults. He is definitely more “woah” than “go” and is happiest having a nice, steady plod. Very little seems to faze him.

He has also started his education as a garron pony, so his groundwork is well established and he has excellent manners.

Struan has a lovely temperament and is a pleasure to have around. He is never impatient, stroppy or stubborn like other highlands.

Full history is known. No rush for sale.

He would suit a Family allrounder, happy hack, lower level Pony Club/riding club, or as a garron pony on an estate.

A very sad sale of a much-loved pony. Boris has been a treasured family friend for the last 2.5 years and is now looking for his next home due to being sadly outgrown.

Boris is a fun, forward and talented pony who has enjoyed a fantastic variety of activities during his time with us. He has been hunting, to pony club, unaffiliated shows, working hunter, fun rides, cross country, beach rides and plenty of hacking.

He has a lovely attitude and is the sort of pony who will turn his hoof to anything. Boris has huge scope and plenty of potential to progress into a top showjumping, hunting, eventing pony with the right rider.

He is:

• Enjoys hacking, beach rides and getting out and about

He can occasionally need a little feed to catch, but this is not a problem at all, and he is otherwise straightforward to manage.

Boris is a forward-going, fun pony who loves his job and has so much to offer. He would suit an experienced family wanting a quality pony to enjoy a bit of everything with, whilst also having the ability to progress and compete.

Boris has given his current rider so many wonderful memories and is now ready to do the same for his next person. ❤️

• Minimally Marked Mini Traditional Cob With Excellent Conformation
• Had A Fantastic Novice Season On & Off Lead Rein Inc Evening Performance & Concours
• Loves To Hack Alone & In Company, Great In Traffic And In Open Spaces

Tommy is a true to type traditional gypsy cob with great conformation, certainly a future HOYS junior coloured contender. He has an abundance of quality, straight and silky hair. He is substantial and easily carries a lightweight adult.

Tommy has had a fantastic start to his education, spending last year as a four year old out hacking and exploring the world, then this spring he began his schooling in preparation for showing

Tommy loves to hack, either by himself or in company. He is happy to go first or last, and is sensible on the road in traffic, trotting up grass verges and in open fields.

Tommy loves children and has enjoyed jumping small fences in the school. He has been lightly but successfully shown this summer by four and five year old lead rein jockeys, and a ten year old first ridden jockey in walk and trot classes.

He has also been to his first stay away show, been in an evening performance and competed in the concurs class wearing a dress!

Tommy is a real yard favourite and turns heads wherever he goes. He is very easy to do, including blow drying his legs with a blaster.

With further education over winter, this pony is certain to do well in RIHS open qualifiers and the HOYS junior ranks. He is an all-round fun pony and would also enjoy pony club events.

He is CHAPS registered, vaccinated, has regular farrier appointments (unshod) and has a JMB (120cm) so he can compete affiliated in lead rein, first ridden, junior and open showing classes.

Adorable 12.2hh welsh sec B for sale. Aged 13 years. (Permanent loan considered if the perfect home)

Sadly outgrown by my daughter and my son has lost interest. We've had Barnaby for 5 years and we are reluctant to sell him but he needs to give his love to another little person - he has so much love to give. He loves to be cuddled, pampered and is very sociable with everyone. He does have a cheeky side, typical of his breed. But he is not unkind in any way.

Barnaby is forward going so not ideal for a first pony, although he has been a first pony for both my children. He is amazing on the lead rein but is sensitive and would do better with a confident rider to boss him about and who wants to do things with him and have fun. He has turned my daughter into a sensitive and talented rider. He is great at all pony club activities, to hack, both in company or alone, although he always prefers company and he jumps 80cm at home and 60-70cm in competitions.

He has great potential as a mounted games pony and is completely unfazed by anything flappy, cars, heavy machinery, other animals (he lives on a farm) and can be handled easily by children. He is good to shoe (he's been barefoot since I've had him), clip and load/travel.

💗 **THE ULTIMATE CHILD’S BEST FRIEND** 💗 lol

**Cherish your child? Then Matilda is for you!

⭐ 13.1hh 9 year old mare** ⭐

Matilda really is the ultimate child’s first pony, or equally a small adults dream pony.

She is a beautiful little mare who has been very well looked after and certainly hasn’t been hammered. She’s not a flashy competition pony, but what she lacks in flash, she more than makes up for with a temperament to die for, both on the ground and ridden.

Matilda is such a kind, gentle soul with so much love to give and genuinely is a child’s best friend. There isn’t a nasty bone in her body.

Children can literally do everything with her even clip her out on their own! She absolutely loves a pamper and is easy to catch, load, tack up, pick her feet out, groom and handle. All of this can happily be done by a child — no parents required!

She has done a bit of everything, from showing and hacking to pub rides, and will happily plod around bareback with the kids. She is safe and sensible out hacking, including in open spaces and alongside bigger horses.

Matilda has good brakes, doesn’t get strong and isn’t a forward going pony, making her ideal for a smaller or less confident child.

She has looked after my girls for the last four years, but sadly they have now outgrown her, so the heartbreaking time has come to find her another little person to love.

✅ Good for the farrier/shoeing

✅ Good in traffic

✅ Good for the dentist

✅ Child friendly to handle
