George - Rising 5 years, very smart Irish cob

He would make a lovely allrounder

He has such a sweet personality and would stand to be pampered all day long! Has been great to catch/farrier/clip/load ect. He rides well in the arena and has been super to hack out alone or in company in traffic ect.

Great mover so would do a lovely dressage test.

He wouldn’t suit a total novice as still needs confidence from his rider, absolutely no badness whatsoever just needs miles. Not a spooky type.

He really is a lovely chap who is ready to be loved and go and see the world!

Irish cob mare. Done all pony club activities - games, jumping, xc, camp etc

Previously worked successfully in a riding school

Excellent to hack alone or in company. Good to catch, clip, box (trailer or horsebox), and with farrier. She is currently barefoot

Superb nature and very kind, easy to handle in or out of the stable. Lives in or out to suit.

Ideal mother daughter share

Suitable as a first or second pony, would be suitable for a novice or a fun safe pony for a more experienced rider.

Very willing but never strong. Always ridden in a snaffle

Regretful sale due to owners change in circumstances

Exceptionally sad sale due to growing a number of personal reasons. His new home is of the utmost importance.

Stunning 13.2 gelding. His full history and family history known, as we bought him from friends of friends.

He is a wonderful fun hack, not strong and not particularly fast, but he loves to go out and just really enjoys time with his humans and adventures.

He has been good in farm and village traffic and previously hacked on a busy road. He isn't bothered to go alone or with others, and is happy to meet others on the ride and then leave them and head home.

He has been to a great local shows and has done really well showing, loves to jump but we've only done small courses and he's been ridden by novice children to nervous older adults! He feels much bigger to ride than he looks and the ground is surprising close when you go to get off!!! You can do gates etc from him and he really is just awesome fun to hack and enjoy. He's not spooky, loves to jump but doesn't get silly and will work in a beautiful outline with a more able rider. He's very sensible and has always been safe to ride for us but he's not a total plod. He's a handsome young man, and he knows it!

It makes no difference to him if he's ridden every day or once a month!

He's kind and genuine but does have character, so he prefers not to be the last one left stabled if everyone else has gone out for example!! He will just shout a bit and make his displeasure known!!!

He lives with a mixed herd currently and is bottom of the pecking order. He's barefoot but has been shod before, he lives in or out but does like to be out. He's low maintenance, and in the nicest way, cheap to keep!

An unexpected change in job and circumstances means this is a very reluctant and sad sale with his tack and rugs as he's totally wasted and not getting the human love and attention he so deserves. We would really like to keep in touch if possible and find him a like minded rider or family who will love him and enjoy him.

Please no timewasters. Price is negotiable within reason to the right home.

Harley is a beautiful Cremello Lightweight Cob – Yellow & White.

Harley is the absolute definition of a kick-along, beginner safe, steady pony. He is 16 years old and has been a total rock for our daughter, giving her confidence.

He is quiet, sensible and unfazed by life. Never sharp, fizzy or silly you can even get on him in the field without tack. He will pop small jumps however he prefers hacking and flatwork to jumping. He has recently been to a newcomers hunt meet where he behaved impeccably, staying steady.

Harley hacks alone or in company without issue. He has no vices, no health problems, and has never been sick or lame. He is up to date with teeth and farrier.

He is a genuine, kind pony who looks after his rider and asks very little in return.

He has been around chickens, geese, dogs, farm machinery.

This is a very sad sale our daughter is simply ready to move on to something more forward going.

No vices, no bad behaviours or quirks, easy in all ways with dentist, clipping, farrier etc.

Five-star home only for this boy.

Can come with his saddle and Bridle.

Please whats for lots of photos and videos of Harley.

Bruno - 5 year old Dartmoor Hill Pony - 13hh

Super smart 2nd pony, who is proving to be
a very successful jumping pony!

From wild hill pony to much loved yard favourite. He is a solid leg in each corner type!

Bruno has taken part in: rallies, lessons, show jumping competitions, mounted games training and debuted at his first mg competition last summer and fun rides. He has been to an Arena XC clinic and was absolutely awesome bold and brave jumping up to 80’s he really loved it, pulling into each fence! As well as pony drifting and showing where he won his class! Will make a smart (unreg) WHP prospect!

Bruno has had an excellent start to his education and has been carefully produced by myself and now 13 year daughter. We have tried to give him a well rounded education and show him as much as possible without rushing him, exposing him to every day life as a child’s pony. His schooling is coming on very nicely and is established in a correct and consistent outline in walk and trot even able to perform some lateral movements as I always introduce this early.

Enjoys his jumping and no doubt this is his strongest discipline - Currently he is most comfortable jumping 40 - 60 where he has taken a few wins and recently qualified for “Cricklands Champs”. He is scopey and will of of course jump bigger but not as careful at the bigger heights just yet, unless it’s xc country where he flies! He is a speedy pony but can be tuned up a down with his rider and can perform tight turns when needed!

Has recently been ridden and competed by a small but very competent 9 year old jockey in 40cm and 50cm heights coming away in the top ribbons would have qualified for bicton mini champs however rider went HC due to competing at a higher level in the past…

Good out hacking with some occasional green moments to be expected with a young pony, easily overcome by a reassuring rider. He is solo hacked often by adults and children no issues leaving the yard on his own. Bold and brave with jumping big logs, ditches, gorse bushes and going through rivers on hacks.

He is a real genuine allrounder with a talent in jumping. He has been shown and won his class first time out. He does a nice dressage test at home although hasn’t competed in dressage yet…Very smart, workman like attitude, busy pony, easy to do, will stand to be clipped without any fuss and generally a really nice boy to have around. He can be left in the stable Or field on his own and is completely unfazed. Polite and easy going enough not be ridden every day but benefits from consistent work as he likes to be busy.

Very good hard feet so barefoot currently, up to date with farrier, dentist and worming. Hasn’t had any vaccines yet as they haven’t been required.

His ideal person would be an all rounder home with a focus on sj as this is what he enjoys. He would also suit a small adult wanting a fun and genuine pony to enjoy.

5* home sought for this wonderful chap, hard but inevitable sale! He will come with his bridle and a selection of rugs.

I am in no rush to see him go be aware his price will increase with more work and mileage, however offering him now so someone can have him for a full season of fun!

Genuine and Kind 14.1hh Gypsy Vanner Cob, 18 Years Old

A gorgeous, kind-natured cob who has been a pleasure to own. Excellent to hack alone or in company and loves fun rides, with a confident, bold jump.

Good to box and shoe. Not currently clipped, but has been hogged and clipped in the past with no issues.

He has a very gentle temperament – my 10-year-old daughter, with no prior riding experience, has ridden him. He prefers hacking and fun rides to schooling, as he can get bored in the arena.

Ridden in a rubber bit; can occasionally be strong, but always remains responsive and sensible.

He has mainly lived in a mixed herd and is happy living out 24/7.

This is a very sad sale of a lovely, genuine boy who deserves more time and attention than I can give him. A kind, caring home is an absolute priority.

Maui has seen and been introduced to everything and seems to happy doing most pony activities!

3 active paces and working nicely on the flat, with a bold genuine jump. Has been to numerous clinics and competitions with previous owner also XC schooling.

Hacks alone and in company, great in traffic and open spaces. Good to shoe, clip, catch etc. Not a novice/nervous ride as he is known to buck.

Unfortunately completely unsuitable for current owners. He does have character and thrives off work and routine tho he isn’t the type that needs riding daily as he doesn’t get fresh he’s a much more settled person from work.

Home is of utmost importance for this chap. He will only be sold to a small adult or competent teenager. Please don’t be offended if I request videos of you riding.

This is a cracking pony in the right home and I want to ensure he will thrive in his next home.

Foggy (Forget Me Not)

6 year old, 14.2, Irish sport horse, mare.
Bred a foal as a 4 year old so late starter, been started slowly and correctly, full life history known, she was bought directly from the breeder.
Will make a lovely all rounder for someone who is wanting a young horse to make into their own and have lots of fun together.
She has been a pleasure to start and really loves to please and enjoys her work.
Super sweet on the ground, loves to be fussed and pampered, will stand all day to be brushed, she’s very affectionate and wants to bond with someone, she calls every time she sees you!

Barefoot - great strong feet, was brilliant with the dentist.
Super easy to keep, will live in or out, turns out alone or in company.
Lunges and long reins brilliantly, walking and trotting under saddle with a lovely mouth, straight moving, super trot.
Has hacked out alone and in company on the roads - seen buses, lorry’s etc.

Now ready to be ridden on and find her new home and build a fantastic bond with someone.
Absolutely no novices, she is not a finished product and needs someone knowledgeable to continue breaking her in and get her riding away.

14.1hh 9yr old Grey Cob Gelding

3 good paces and works sweetly on the flat with numerous wins and placings out UA dressage. Attended many clinics and SJ competitions where he always came home in the ribbons.

Been XC schooling and completed an ODE finishing 8th. Happily jumping around courses of 70cm and when he is fully fit he is capable of more. (Owner doesn’t expire to jump bigger than 70)

Fantastic to hack whether he’s alone or in company. Great in all traffic and safe in open spaces. Done a fun ride and would make a cracking hunting pony. Good to shoe, box, clip etc.

Same home since a 3yr old and this is a very sad sale but with house renovations/work he’s deserves someone with more time to enjoy him.

He has always been safe, steady and dependable with an extra gear only when asked. He would suit a low level all round home.

  • 100% to be handled and looked after by kids.

Unfortunately the time has come to find Cheeto a new jockey. He is an 11 year old 11.2hh chestnut gelding with no recorded breeding.

We have owned him for the past 2 and a half years and he is my youngest daughter’s pride and joy. She has done everything with him. He is a proper little all rounder from doing ODE, SJ, XC schooling, pony club camp, PC rallies, beach rides & the gallops. He is confident up to 60cm.

He is the character of the yard being a typical cheeky pony but is always handled and cared for by my daughter.

This is a very sad sale purely due to being outgrown and he is too good a pony and too young to become a field ornament. He is not a novice ride so definitely more of a second pony. He is very responsive to the leg and forward to ride. Not a kick along. He is not naughty just quite strong for a little pony and takes some getting used to.

He schools nicely in all 3 paces. He is great to hack alone and in company and is happy to lead the ride unfazed by traffic, sheep, tractors etc. He can also be easily led from another horse if needed and is not bothered by sticking to their side.

I also believe he has the potential to make a great driving pony.

He is currently barefoot and copes fine without shoes. His perfect to load, clip, trim, bath & groom all done by my daughters.

Up to date with jabs & teeth. No vices and comes with all tack & rugs.

  • Connemara part bred by the Hoys winning Comberton Cadet
  • Fantastic temperament
  • Super fun ride

Mr Tom is a super fun, forward thinking all rounder.
Sadly for sale after 10 years.

He has the most beautiful balanced paces, works naturally in a soft contact, always snaffle mouthed.

Mr Tom would excel at showing due to his family being Hoys winners, he would be a strong contender for veteran classes.
He loves to jump, and in the past has competed in unaffiliated showjumping, xcountry and ode.

He is great to hack alone or in company, totally unfazed by traffic, we hack on very busy roads.

Mr Tom has a temperament to die for!
He is super kind and extremely well mannered in all aspects.
Great to catch, shoe, clip, vet, groom, bath, load, travel, the list goes on…
Just a real pleasure to be around.

He would suit a petite confident rider, maybe a mother daughter share.
He would NOT be suitable for a Novice or Nervous rider due to him being a sensitive ride, he can be spooky at times and forward when first going into canter.
This is not an issue if you’re a capable rider and when he’s in regular work.

He would not be suitable for someone coming off riding school ponies.

He is clean limbed, very low mileage for his age, has mainly been hacked and lightly schooled for the past year due to owner having a baby.

He has not competed for a few years either so would need to be slowly reintroduced to the competition scene.

He is currently in light work and in his winter wollies.

Passport, vaccinations, teeth and worming all up together.

Extremely hard sale as owner know longer has the time he deserves, since starting a family.
He will only go to the best of homes.
Tack and rugs included.
Tons of photos and videos on request.
Good trial facilities.

If you have a gutsy kid that thrives off adrenaline, look no further.

Star is a fantastic fun ride, hack, hunting pony with the guts of an elephant, and heart of a lion.

She is not a novice ride, as she knows her job and just wants to be out having fun but is never nasty. Just needs a confident little jockey to match her energy.

When it comes to schooling, Star has been schooled and has had regular lessons with my daughter, however I believe she finds this to be a little boring as we have restricted her to walk and trot due to daughters confidence. I have had a rider in who has walk, trot and cantered her no problem in the school.

Star is barefoot, upto date with farrier, physio and dentist. Fantastic to deal with, and is handled daily.

Unfortunately my daughter has had a confidence knock, hence Star looking for a new home, because of this she is not currently in work- with that being said, I am happy for her to be ridden in viewings.

Mimi is the most gorgeous little mare with a heart of gold. We bought her unbacked end of last summer and have had the most fun backing and producing her since.

Mimi would love a kid, teen or small adult to have fun with - as much as I think in the right hands she could make a top competition pony I think she would be happiest taking life a little less seriously having fun at pony club / riding club being someone’s best friend!

Mimi is a forwards, whizzy ride whilst still being very safe and sensible, Mimi has been tested with less confidence and less balanced riders and has looked after them perfectly.

Mimi hacks out beautifully alone & in company, has been ridden tackless, popped courses and grids of jumps with fillers etc. and done lots of pole work. Mimi is genuinely the easiest pony to have around and has the kindest and cuddliest personality!
