He has been xc schooling where he is super brave and honest, jumped everything asked of him and behaved extremely well in the open space.

Podge works well in the flat in all three paces. He is always ridden in a snaffle.

Can be mounted for the block, hacks alone or in company and isn’t phased by traffic or farm animals.

Has been ridden by a few different riders including teenagers.

He would be a fantastic summer project for someone wanting something that is kind, has already seen the world and ready to be produced further!

He has a clean vet cert, wormed, teeth done & has been done by the farrier.

Tilly is a 148cm, 10 yr old coloured mare, with super smart looks and 3 strong paces.

Very safe to hack and good with all traffic. Tilly has an excellent temperament for a novice rider, a mother/daughter share or a young rider wanting to do a bit of everything. She has given my daughter lots of confidence.

Tilly has attended Riding Club events, summer camps at Somerford, proving to be an XC macine jumping ditches, hedges, water etc, farm rides (excellent in open space) and a few local SJ shows. With previous owners Tilly evented 90cm unaffiliated.

At home my 11yr old daughter jumps Tilly up to 80cm.

Amber is a charming, willing and versatile pony who would make a fantastic lead rein or second pony for a confident young rider.

In the school, Amber works sweetly in all three paces and will happily pop a fence, both in the arena and out on the cross-country course. She’s a naturally steady ride, but will step up the pace when asked. She’s not strong but can nap with beginner riders off the lead in the school, so as an honest assessment would say she is more suited as a lead rein or a confident riders 2nd Pony.

She is at her best when out hacking. She can be hacked alone or in company and isn’t fazed by traffic.

Amber is excellent to handle and adored by even the smallest of children. She loves fuss, grooming and attention. She is currently barefoot and is exemplary for the farrier, vet and clipping. She can live happily on her own or in a herd, and we stable her in winter and turn out in summer. Great to catch and travels well. She’s easy in all respects.

With her eye-catching markings and lovely paces, she has real potential as a showing pony. We’ve also been advised that she previously did ride and drive, although we haven’t tested this ourselves.

I’m confident with more time, expertise and work she will blossom in the school.

She is a substantial little mare who could easily carry a small lightweight adult as well.

Millie has been slowly, but correctly produced from home.

Pony Club, Working Hunter Pony, Show Hunter Pony and HOYS Junior Coloured Pony....she is true sports pony and really could turn her hoof to any job.

Millie was shown very successfully in hand as a youngster and has since been shown under saddle coming third in Coloured Non Native Pony and SHP classes at the The Royal Welsh Show last year.

Natural, untapped talent over poles. Jumping over 90cm at home. Has competed successfully 40/50cm showjumping with a young, novice jockey.

Hector is an absolute saint of a pony. He is the most sweet and honest type you could ask for. He was backed last year and has had no time, expense or attention spared in his care. He has been brought into full ridden work this year and is proving to be a special type.

Being turned out next to a railway line and farm he’s seen all kinds of traffic and doesn’t bat an eye lid. With pets and kids he is the kindest sort. He absolutely loves attention, cuddles and will stand to be brushed all day. He is the easiest to clip, even behind his ears!

He hacks out alone on busy roads and across the moors, going straight into water crossings and popping over ditches. He’s a PC/ Hunting/ XC pony in the making!!

In the school he goes nicely on the flat. His transitions are smooth and he learns super quick. He’s schooled by a small 15 year old and will pop a course of 40-50cm with ease. He is very forward thinking and you can see he enjoys the jumps with lots of scope there.

He’s has primary school kids on him in the yard pottering around without a leader, he’s had a toddler as a second passenger doing the steering and braking and he’s had a girl still on riding school ponies showing off her new lunging qualification with him. He is such a rewarding pony to work with and he is always so happy. He’s been out to clear rounds and popped around nicely without any stops and gained 2 clear rounds at his first ever practice show with a petite rider!

He is ideal for a capable child/teen (with guidance) or a small adult wanting a pony to produce into something very special. He is just so sensible. If he doesn’t know he will wait and look to you for the answer. He’s just that honest. He will even share his stable, hay manger and feed bowl with another when we were a stable short!

He’s available now for someone else to take on and produce fully themselves or equally make someone very happy as a happy hacker or all rounder. He’s absolute pony club in the making!

He is up to date with vaccines, feet and teeth. We have a school onsite and hacking available for a viewing. He came to be for sale as the previous owner has 3 young children and another bigger cob and they just didn’t have the facilities or time to spend producing him further and they didn’t want him wasted. I’ve taken him on to take him further and he is such an easy type I can see his next owner being a capable kid or small adult doing some XC, hunting, PC or SJ. She is experience in flatwork lessons, both private and group, as well as participating in our in house showjumping and cross country competitions. She is confident over coloured and rustic fences and has a bold, careful jump. She would easily compete in showjumping, cross country, working hunter, one day events and hunting.

Esma loves to hack out and does so safely and calmly. She will happily hack alone or in company and has been exposed to the heaviest, fastest moving traffic imaginable. She is completely unphased by all vehicles and farm machinery. She remains safe and steady in all environments and does not rush or pull, even in open spaces or on the way home, you can gallop her across open fields with loose horses running along side her, then immediately pull her up and allow her to walk on a long rein or ask her to stand while horses run around her, she is most definitely not sharp, spooky or spiny.

She has been truly exceptional during her time on the riding school she is unbelievable forgiving when rider lose their Balance, struipps or have a bad stride into a fence,she always takes care of her riders, her substantial build, with a leg in each corner, combined with her calm disposition, sure footedness, and gentle nature, giving all her riders the confidence to progress and excel. She will stand patiently at the mounting block for as long as needed, without moving.

Although she is happy to go at a quiet steady pace, she is also responsive to the leg and has three beautiful balanced, steady paces. For more experienced riders, she will work into a nice outline with enthusiasm and energy. she is the most loving kind mare you could ever wish to meet. Snaffle mouth with absolutely no gadgets.

Esma has good ground manners. She stands for hours to be groomed and fussed over, with or without a headcollar or lead rope, she’s happy living in or out In the field, she keeps herself to herself and never causes trouble, she is happy stabled or turned out she is currently in a large mixed herd, stabled during the day and out at night.

Esma has a history of excellent health and has never had laminitis, sweet itch, sarcoids, or any lumps, bumps, or unsoundness. Full veterinary history, she has only had 2 owners.
She is currently barefoot with strong, healthy hooves and is equally happy to be shod. She is excellent to catch, great to load and travel, fantastic with the farrier, vet, and dentist.

She is incredibly low maintenance she maintains her condition year round on a simple diet, she is currently working 4 days a week.

She passes our riding school annual Licence Inspection, which is the equivalent of a Stage 2 vetting.
