  • Lovely compact model
  • Loves a fuss and to be around people

Spot is a lovely model, compact and well marked. He has three good paces and a good little pop on him. He was started over the winter, has learnt all the basics and has been to a couple of outings. He loves a fuss and a scratch and enjoys being around people.

Spot has been out hacking which he really enjoys. He has met a small amount of traffic, which he was good with but does still need educating here.

Not a first pony, due to his stage in education- needs someone who can give him confidence and continue his training. He is still nervous with the farrier. He has also been seen to have a touch of sweet-itch which has been easily managed.

Out beautiful Bill, we bought Bill at just 5 months old in horrendous condition.

(Photos available)

Bill was string test to make 14.1- 14.2 he is 2 years 7 months and standing at a dull up 13.2 just below 13.3 now.

Bill is gelding, vaccinated, wormed. Exceptionally well behaved on the ground, ties up, stands to be bathed, plaited, perfect for farrier.

Bill has started showing inhand and takes it all in his stride, very well behaved, ties up at trailer, travels really well doesnt sweat up etc.

Winning 1st places in his first shows and moves beautifully.

Handled and shown by a 12 year old child.

Bill had been sat on by my daughter and walked around the yard (farm) and didnt put a foot wrong.

We sold billy after loosing our grazing over 18 months ago, but he came back to me. Sadly we cannot keep him due to costs of new yard so weve got him out, showing, weight on, well handed and vaccines done

He will only go to the very best home.

This is an extremely sad sale of our beloved 14h, 18 year old Piebald Mare.

We are looking for a 5 star, knowledgeable, forever home for our gorgeous girl.

Dolly owes us nothing as she has been a loyal part of our family for 5 years. She is never sick or sorry. Everyone rides Dolly.

She is super genuine and is very good to hack on the roads alone or in company . She prefers to be in front. She is good with farm machinery.

My daughter loves to ride her cantering bareback around the fields and she loves a splash in the river!

She is not suitable for a complete beginner as she has her occasional days when she’s more excitable but we always know when she’s feeling well.

She is easy to do in all ways, children can do everything with her, clipping etc.

Sadly my daughter has moved onto a competition pony and we couldn’t bear to sell Dolly so she has been at my parents home in Oxfordshire for a year, nannying a youngster. She might take a week or two to get fit and going, however we rode her straight from the field last week and she was an absolute super star as ever and was very happy to be back out and about.

We are looking for a 5 star, knowledgeable, forever home where she will continued to be loved to bits.

We are in no rush to sell her and she will only go to the very best of homes.

(Please note, I am away 5th-15th August so I will not be taking calls then but am happy to receive text messages which I will respond to on my return).

Timmy - 138cm Mother’s Dream

Ref #: 415647

  • Genuine, kind, safe and confidence-giving
  • Proven 70-90cm NSEA, BS, Pony Club and POYS
  • Impeccable manners at shows, camps and stay-aways, completely reliable ,

Timmy is a truly special (life measured) 138cm pony who has been everything we hoped for and more.

He has given our daughter the confidence, mileage and success to progress beyond our expectations and is only for sale because she has had a huge growth spurt and is now looking too tall for him.

Timmy is the ultimate confidence-giving competition pony with the experience of a seasoned campaigner combined with the kindest, calmest temperament. He has taken our daughter from her early 70cm rounds to confidently competing in NSEA, Pony Club and British Showjumping.

Highlights include:

* NSEA Addington Championships 2025 – Team 6th place.

* Qualified for the Pony of the Year Show 80cm Grand Championships.

* Qualified for the Pony of the Year Show 90cm Grand Championships.

* Qualified for the Stepping Stones Final (for August 2026).

* Qualified for the 138cm Bronze League Final (for August 2026).

He has travelled extensively with us to stay-away shows, championships and Pony Club camps, where he has always behaved impeccably. He loads and travels beautifully, settles immediately away from home and is completely relaxed in busy show environments.

Timmy is easy in every way to handle (by children) and is genuinely one of the kindest ponies to have around the yard. He has the experience of a top competition pony but the temperament of a family pony, making him a dream.

He has a lovely balanced canter, established flying changes and has competed in showjumping and arena eventing with us. We have schooled xc which he absolutely loves. Whilst he has excelled in the showjumping ring, he equally loves hacking, XC, Pony Club activities and a varied life. He hacks happily alone or in company (roads annd fields) and genuinely enjoys getting out and about.

Timmy is ideal for a rider progressing from around 70cm upwards, whether their ambitions are NSEA, Pony Club, Triathlon Showjumping or simply having a safe, fun and competitive best friend. He appreciates a rider who keeps their leg on but he is honest, genuine and always wants to help his rider.

This is an incredibly difficult sale as we adore him, but he has simply been completely outgrown. We would love to find Timmy another family where he can continue enjoying the varied life he thrives on.

Please get in touch to have a chat— we will look for references as a 5⭐️ home is required for this adorable pony. 5-figure price is reflective of experience and temperament as he is one of a kind.

Based Cirencester with good trial facilities available.

13hh, 12yo Cob Mare – Much-Loved Family All-Rounder

Ref #: 410528
  • Loves hacking, hunting, fun rides, cross country.
  • Great temperament, much loved family pony.
£3,900
  • Cob
  • Skewbald
  • Mare
  • 12 years
  • 13hh / 133cm
  • Loves hacking, hunting, fun rides, cross country.
  • Great temperament, much loved family pony.

Bella is a much-loved family pony looking for a home where she can get back into regular work. She has been a fantastic all-rounder for us and is equally happy being a lead rein pony or stepping up for a more established rider.

This year she attended Pony Club camp as a reserve lead rein/first ridden pony for my 5-year-old son whilst his pony has been on box rest. She is equally suited as a second ridden and has taken my 7-year-old daughter from cross poles to 80cm.

Bella hacks confidently alone or in company and is sensible in traffic. She isn’t bothered by farm machinery, motorbikes, cyclists, dogs, chickens or other everyday sights, making her a safe and enjoyable hacking pony. Friends’ children with limited experience have happily hacked her while I lead or run alongside.

She schools nicely on the flat and has enjoyed camps, sj/xc rallies, fancy dress, fun rides and all Pony Club activities. In her previous home she worked for the RDA. She also lunges and long reins well, and we’ve led her from another horse and from a bike. She simply enjoys having a job to do.

With a confident, established rider she is a genuine all-rounder who would make a lovely Pony Club, hunting, hacking or fun ride pony. She has plenty of scope over a fence and the children love the feel she gives when jumping. She is forward out hunting and did a few days last season with a 10/11-year old boy and they had fun together. She also has lovely paces and would make a smart show pony once her feathers have grown back.

Bella hasn’t been in consistent work recently as we now keep the ponies at home without an arena and mainly hack. Because of this, when schooled alone she can be lazy or nappy and may take advantage of a nervous or novice rider by being reluctant to go forwards initially. This wasn’t an issue when we were in livery with an arena and she was in regular and consistent work. She was schooling and show jumping beautifully, and we have lots of photos and videos to show this. She has absolutely no malice in her—she is a kind, sensitive pony who thrives on routine, consistency and a confident rider.

She is wonderful with children. Mine ride her bareback, slide off her bottom, stand on her, do round-the-worlds and dress her up—she takes it all in her stride.

Easy to load into trailer or lorry, travelling alone or with company. Happy living in or out with mares or geldings. Easy to catch and handle. Up to date with vaccinations and teeth. Good to shoe (front shoes only). Good to clip, although her feathers require patience or Domosedan if they’ve been allowed to grow; we now keep her legs clipped without sedation. No sedation needed for routine dentistry.

Bella is only for sale because I don’t have the time to bring her back into regular work, and she’s far too good to be standing in a field. This is a genuinely sad sale.

**£3,900** to reflect that she needs bringing back into consistent work. Professionally fitted tack available by separate negotiation.

Lots of photos and videos available on request. References available from her previous owners and the RDA.

Jackson – 6-Year-Old Gelding | 14.3hh (Still Growing)

It is with a very heavy heart that I have decided to offer Jackson for sale so he can continue his education and reach his full potential.

Jackson is a kind, affectionate 6-year-old gelding standing at approximately 14.3hh and still growing. He has a lovely temperament, always comes running over to greet you, and loves attention and cuddles.

He is good to shoe, clip, load, bath, and for the dentist. He hacks out happily both alone and in company.

Jackson is still young and green, so he is looking for an experienced, confident rider with the time and patience to continue his education.

This is a genuine and heartbreaking sale, and finding him the right, knowledgeable home is my absolute priority. He has plenty of potential in the right hands and deserves someone who will enjoy bringing him on.

Ranger 🍀A perfect pony for hacking, adventures, group lessons, all while taking care of his rider🍀

Ranger is a 14.2h 4yo piebald Irish cob gelding with an old head on young shoulders. He is extremely quiet in all situations, ideal for hacking alone or in groups.

He is broken to ride western and English style!

Ranger is completely sensible no matter the ability of his rider. He has been ridden by our working students, and all of our girls. He is fit to carry an adult.

He is very mellow to ride in groups, even in open spaces. He is quiet around traffic, cows, tractors, machinery, and in new places.

We think Ranger would best suit a family with many kids who ride, or a riding school looking for a quiet, patient pony.

Ranger will jump x-rails and small cross country jumps. He shines best out hacking and in open fields, where you can trust him to not get excited. He would be a safe choice for a child to go hunting with as he is brave and steady for cross country.

Ranger is a push ride, and definitely ‘more woah than go.’ He always goes in a snaffle.

He can live in or out without getting fresh. He is easy for a novice to catch, shoe, plait, load, tie, etc. He has no vices, lumps or bumps.

He is open to any vetting

Lilly

Cracking All-Rounder / Happy Hacker / Pony Club / Competitions / Family Friend

Lilly is a kind, calm, safe, and steady Cob. She is a fantastic all-rounder, suited to a wide range of riders—whether you’re looking for a confidence-giver, a happy hacker, or a horse to enjoy fun rides, beach outings, and low-level competitions.

She has a gentle, easy-going personality, low maintenance. She will stand quietly at the mounting block without being held, waits patiently in her stable even with the door open, and is never pushy or strong. Lilly is ideal for solo riders, competent novice, or someone wanting a calm and reliable ride.

Lilly has three balanced paces and rides beautifully on the flat. She is calm and relaxed but responsive to the leg if asked – very sensible and never spooky, silly, sharp or strong.

Lilly has spent the last 12 months in a professional riding school setting where she has been ridden by all levels of children and adults, from complete beginners on the lead rein, competent novice off the lead rein, holding the handle on the saddle if required in trot and canter and advanced level riders, she will happily jump a course of small coloured and rustic fences, she always helps out her riders out if you come in on a bad stride, she is perfect for building up your confidence if you are inexperienced, nervous or need a horse to teach you the ropes, she participates in our in-house fun rides, jumping, cross country and low level dressage competitions.

She works in a lovely outline with three naturally balanced paces, she is schooled well on the flat, including lateral work and basic dressage movements. She has a bold, confident jump and would easily progress to a higher level with a competent rider. Lilly has the perfect balance of “go” when asked, but is equally happy to relax on a loose rein for a calm more whoa kind of ride. We are a very busy establishment with a lot go on, she takes everything in her stride working independently and within large group lessons, she is responsive to the leg when asked whilst remaining super sensible and calm.

She hacks out alone or in company. She is 100% safe in open spaces, does not rush home, pull or get strong, even after a canter or gallop, she will come straight back to walk on a loose rein. She is extremely confident in traffic, riding boldly and completely unfazed by extremely busy fast moving traffic including double decker buses, articulated lorries, motorcycles, push bikes, prams, dogs, large farm machinery, she is not clingy with other horses, and will ride away from the herd without a second thought.

Lilly is excellent with the farrier (currently barefoot) equally happy to be shod, great to load, travel, dentist and has no vices in the stable or field. She is happy to live in or out and is equally settled in a herd or on her own. She is currently turned out at night and stabled during the day when in work, she is happy turned out full time. Currently working 4 days a week.

She doesn’t need riding every day and can be left for weeks or months without changing – no lunging needed, just tack up and go.

She has never had laminitis, sweet itch, sarcoids, or any lumps or bumps, not marish or clingy, no vices, she passes our annual licence inspection, which is equivalent to a Stage 2 vetting.

Only for sale as we regularly rotate our horses giving them the chance to enjoy one-to-one attention in a private home. They undertake a lot of arena work within the riding school setting which can become repetitive and mentally uninteresting over time.

We are looking for a forever loving home where she can continue to thrive.

Being sold on behalf of a working livery.

We are also reducing stock so we have a few other horses and ponies also available.

If you are genuinely interested, please CALL or MESSAGE on WhatsApp.

Gucci is a fun, forward going pony who is ready to get out and give someone loads of fun.

She has turned her hoof to a bit of everything recently from showjumping to dressage, showing, xc and racing.

We think she would be most suited to a showjumping home where she could start at the bottom having never been registered BS and really progress up the levels with her bold scopey jump.

She would however enjoy being able to continue doing a bit of everything else on the side.

Whilst she is a whizzy pony and wouldn’t suit a nervous or novice rider she is safe and not strong and good to handle in all ways, regularly ridden bareback etc.

She has just returned from a loan home where she has been outgrown but was a big part of the family. Unfortunately we do not have a jockey for her so she must be sold.

A beautiful example of a traditional cob with full mane, tail and feathers. She moves too! Most of what we have done with Rosie to date is hacking to get her confidence and to enjoy her work. We felt the school made her a little tense and due to her age and stage in education she was struggling to balance herself (as we all know the cobs do find tight corners tricky!) however she is very safe and forward going and even if she gets tense you’ve always got breaks. She’s not the type to ever buck, rear or bolt just occasionally needs to pause have some reassurance then go again. Marches through the village unfazed by all the tractors, buses and school traffic that passes through. However given her age she is not suitable for a total novice.

I am advertising now at the stage she is however will continue to take her on outings. This weekend I will be taking her to do a traditional cob class for some experience. We will also be attending hound exercise and fun rides.

With some time I feel she would excel in a few different types of homes. Someone who enjoys showing traditionals or even someone who just wants a beautiful, leg in each corner cob to take to the pub and down the beach. Whatever job she goes to do she’s ready for someone to make their own.

She pops a fence and can make a nice shape too.

All viewings and vettings welcome.

Up to height standard Shetland coloured mare.

She has all the attributes to make a really special pony. A real head turner and she knows it.

We have started to back and break her under saddle, as well as wearing full driving harness inc blinkers and long reigning earlier in the year. Never rushed or pushed. What has been done has been done well.

I am sure she will eventually make a wonderful driving pony once she is finished off.

Ridden; she has been sat on to and from field on occasion. Has been tacked up and leant over. In time will be a brilliant kids pony but not suited yet to a tiny tot as she likes to get on with her job. Hence I feel racing maybe her forte or for a keen child to do pony club potentially showing, jumping etc.

Saying that she’s never shown any nasty behaviour towards my toddler and is more than happy to march out to the field with her held on her bareback.

She is good to catch, trim, groom, wash, farrier load and respects electric fencing. Currently turned out in mixed heard with no issues.

Not keen on being stabled over night but if she’s in a routine she will wait to be brought in at night but is keen to get back out in the morning.

I will be continuing her work now the summer holidays are here.

Only available as we are giving up due to lack of interest from my daughter and I would love to see her excel.

Honest advert as I want to see her in a long term home were she can fulfil her potential

Video will be available soon. Open to view/vet etc.

Rose is a gentle, sweet-natured cob mare who has recently returned into our care through absolutely no fault of her own, and she is now looking for her new home as a non-ridden companion. Living out 24/7 on sparse grazing, Rose is a perfect match for other good doers who also need restricted grass. Rose can live with both mares and geldings, and could adapt to part stabling with a steady routine.

Rose can be a little unsure at times, especially when settling in, but with a quiet home and a calm, confident handler she will truly flourish. She absolutely loves a good groom and will soak up every bit of fuss and affection.

Karah is a sweet natured pony looking for a knowledgeable home as a non-ridden companion. Karah enjoys company and would make a lovely field companion for another horse or pony on a quiet yard.

She is good to catch, lead, groom and handle on a day-to-day basis, and is a kind and pleasant pony to have around. She does require further training and confidence-building with veterinary procedures, so she will need an experienced and patient owner and vet who is willing to continue her education in this area.

Could you offer Karah a loving home?
