Based on a Livery yard 5 minutes away from where we live.

30+years experience with horses.

We are looking for a very quiet pony to participate in pony club activities of the lead.

Must be super sensible in open spaces and in groups.
Good to hack and in traffic.
Must travel alone or in company.
We are generally looking for a very well behaved unicorn for a 6 nearly 7 year old who has been riding a shetland for the past 3 years on the lead up to affiliated showing level.

Would consider an older pony and also any health issues aslong as they are well maintained before joining us with all details disclosed. Would also consider a younger pony but the temperament would need to be very quiet.

SORRELCOURT SECRET KEY, aka GG, is a striking fun all rounder. She’s done pony club, riding club and trail hunting with the Heythrop Hunt.

Shes super loveable, comfortable to ride and a gem on the hunting field. Don’t let her age put you off, her years of experience have been easy and she shows no signed of aging. She has attended many pony club camps, rally’s and shows.

Although we have never stepped into the showing ring I think she would do well, she move well enough and has a fabulous presence about her.

She has been ridden by all kinds of people, from children to light weight adults and is fun for all. She is not a complete novice ride purely for the fact that she can be strong for an inexperienced child. A keen and able teenager or small adult would suit her best.

She has always been good in traffic and we hack her both alone and in company, she is easy to catch in the field, travels well, and good for the farrier. She is good to clip however we do pop the twitch on to clip around her eyes and ears.

She has been jumping 80cm at home and jumps bigger out hunting, she’s not the hedge jumping type but jumps all hunt rails etc.

Peanut is a lovely lightweight skewbald mare, 15 year old . Life height certified 147.5cm.

She is beautifully marked and has successfully competed in affiliated coloured showing classes and unaffiliated dressage. We bought her in 2020 and she has been a pleasure to own.

Has competed at the Great Yorkshire Show and qualified for CHAPS 2025.

Our daughter’s main focus was showing. Together they have had a lot of training and Peanut has really nice flatwork.

Also attended PC rallies/camp and is good to hack. She loves to jump but can become strong and excitable in this faze, therefore needs a confident and competent jockey.

Not suitable for a novice rider.

Has XC schooled with her previous owner.

Currently back in light work after some well earned time off over the winter months.

Upton date with vaccinations and dentist.
Good to shoe / load / travel / bath / plait and trim. Nervous to clip but this is managed with Domosedan gel.

this mare is amazing inside and out, looking for a new home. would 100% suit a mother daughter share or pony club home as she’s happy to step down and help build blocks with her new jockey to step back up. She doesn’t bat an eyelid at anything, she’s has a leg in each corner and Will happily step up a gear if you ask with a buzzy bum!
You can leave her for a week and you could get back on and she would have no change.

Pinot would enjoy a varied lifestyle, she's done; pony club, eventing, riding club, show jumping, activities, hunting, fun rides or even dressage as she makes a lovely frame and had gotten 30s when she’d been out eventing previously!

She’s an absolute XC machine, water, ditches, brushes, steps, done them all, placed at the Pony Club eventing Championships with her previous owners.

We do lots of hacking on our yard, it's a working farm, she is fine with lorry’s, farm machinery, cars, busses, trailers, bikes ect.

Pinot is good to shoe, catch, for the dentist, physio, loads and travels well in both a trailer and horsebox. And update with everything.

Only for sale as i’m now focusing on my GCSEs and not finding time to ride as much and going to college.

She is happy to be out 24/7 or equally as happy to be stabled.
Fine to go out with a mixed herd or by herself, and isn’t bothered if she’s first or last in!

Honey is a 13.2hh much loved sports cob. We have had her for 3 years and during that time she has done the following:

She was bought for my daughter to do all PC activities on and she’s done that so well. They have competed locally and usually come home with a rosette. Honey has a hugely scopey jump and she can comfortably compete round 90cm SJ courses. XC she jumps 90 in training and at clinics but we usually compete her in 80’s. She has no issues with fillers, water, brushing fences, ditches etc and is bold as brass on the hunting field. Shes fast against the clock and a careful jumper, rarely will she touch a pole. She will excel in BS. She enjoys all Pony Club activities and isn’t phased by large groups of people and ponies. She doesn’t spook at Handy Pony tasks.

Shes barefoot at the moment but has been shod when we was in heavy competition work and hunting. Ridden in a snaffle in all disciplines. Loads herself into boxes, travels in a lorry, 3.5tonne van and trailer no problem at all. Easiest pony at a day show or a stay away as she’ll stand and eat her haynet quite happily. Easy to clip, stands happily for as long as it takes. Good for farrier too. Lunges well, and is lunged by a teen and an 11 year old. She’s managed by children daily. Easy to catch. Stands to be washed. Currently lives out 24/7 but has been in over night and copes fine either way.

Hacks out alone or in company. Goes first or last on hacks, my children have hacked her along roads and she’s not bothered by any traffic. We live on a farm so she’s exposed to tractors, diggers, quads, drones etc and we are on a flight path for the RAF so she’s not phased by helicopters or low flying planes. She was happy mid field or at the back when hunting.

She is only for sale as my youngest daughter isn’t keen to compete and her rider is moving into a 14.2hh pony now due to her age.

Comes with a full wardrobe including: English leather saddle (fitted to her), English leather bridle, travel boots, turnout and stable rugs and fly rugs.
