Wheatley Nate is a well bred sec C with plenty of character.

Professionally castrated with passport stamped by vet. He enjoys plenty of attention.

He will make the most wonderful riding pony.

The only reason he’s for sale is that we sadly don’t have a jockey for him.

Western Gale- 128- Mare- Irish Sport Pony- Show Jumper- Honest & Kind Family Pony- 15yrs

A very sad sale of our much loved family pony. Gale has brought our daughter from x-poles to taking home red rosettes in tracks of 80cm, pony club rallies, camps, hacks, cross-country and beach rides.

Gale is honest, kind and gentle. She is great with all our children (& puts up with a lot from our 2 year old daughter!).

She absolutely loves showjumping. She thrives and comes alive when she is jumping. She is fast against the clock, loves to win and knows her job.

Gale is the easiest pony on the yard. She is easy to load, travel, clip, shoe and for the dentist.

We are Gales 2nd home. We are looking for a five star 3rd home for Gale, so that she can thrive at what she loves best, and receive the same love and care we have shown her over the years.

Only serious calls. No texts.

Super safe tri-coloured mare, she’s good to do in all ways. Hacks first or last with great brakes! Has done everything, clinics, dressage, SJ, XC & fun rides.

She’s up to date with teeth, vaccs and back. Never lame, sick or sorry. To be honest she’s a little legend of a pony, she’s taken complete novices on the weekly club ride and always looks after her jockey. She’s quite chunky and takes up a lot of leg.

Full disclosure - Mable has clipped legs due to the very early and very very mild signs of CPL, it does not bother her, she has no folds or sore areas but because of this she will not pass a vetting (although vettings are still welcome) because of this she is priced accordingly.

 Princess Lexie – A Once-in-a-Lifetime, Coloured 12-Year-Old Mare, 14.2hh
A true schoolmistress • Confidence giver • Mother’s dream

Princess Lexie is exactly what her name suggests — an absolute princess and a rare gem of a horse. At 12 years old, this beautifully marked coloured mare has proven herself time and time again to be a one-in-a-million partner for riders of all ages and abilities.

? Temperament & Handling

Lexie is an angel in every way. She has the kindest, sweetest nature and is a complete pleasure to have on the yard. Her manners are impeccable — quiet and easy to shoe, box, catch, clip, ride, and handle in all situations, including busy traffic and new environments. She has a wonderfully willing temperament and shines brightest when she is building confidence in her rider.

Ridden regularly by novice students, Lexie takes everything in her stride. She is calm, forgiving, and always looks after her rider, even in tricky moments. The epitome of safety and steadiness, she truly is a confidence giver and an ideal mother–daughter share.

Riding & Performance

Princess Lexie is a true schoolmistress with experience across multiple disciplines:

• Cross Country:

Her absolute favourite job! Lexie loves XC — always taking every jump in her stride, always honest, and always eager. She has a natural enthusiasm for fences, takes everything on with pricked ears, and always makes sure to carry her rider safely to the other side.

• Show Jumping:

Schooled over coloured poles and happily jumping up to 80cm here. She would be the perfect pony to take a child from cross poles to more technical courses with confidence and fun.

• Flatwork:

Beautifully schooled on the flat, with three balanced, expressive paces and a super straight way of going. She has the presence and movement to shine in show classes.

• Hacking & Pleasure Riding:

A dream hack — relaxed, reliable, and unfazed by traffic. Happy to go out alone or in company.

• Previous Experience:

Has hunted, taken part in hunter trials, and enjoyed pony club activities. She is versatile and willing, making her suitable for almost any loving home.

? Conformation & Type

Lexie is extremely well put together — a proper model of a mare with good bone, substance, and an eye-catching coat pattern. She is beautifully marked and stands out wherever she goes.

Ideal Home

She would be an outstanding fit for:

A novice rider
A mother–daughter share
A riding school looking for a safe, quality mare
A pony club home
A fun, happy-hacking home
A family searching for a trustworthy, kind partner

Lexie has no stable vices, is open to any vetting, and comes with complete peace of mind.

MYA - a whole lot of fun!

Approx 14.3, 11 yo cob mare.

A fantastic forward, fun mare with lots to give.

For the past 3 years Mya has just been quietly ticking along with her owner but is very sadly now looking for a new home due to her owners circumstances- a very hard sale for her.

Prior to the last 3 years Mya had been a versatile all-rounder. With us, (A.E Equestrian) she has hacked alone and in company, popped a few fences and been just a lovely type to have around - true to type but forward.

She is a leg in each corner, and has light paces and a big jump for her size.

She will pootle along hacking or step up a notch for a more experienced rider. In the arena she is nicely responsive and requires a competent rider. She isn't overly supple but this is improving. She has quite a powerful feeling canter that might be unbalancing for the more novice rider.

We feel she has so much to give - PC/ RC/ family home, fun rides, hunting etc.

A little unfit but willing to give everything a go!

Sort hard to find.

For sale on behalf of her owner. Open to any vetting etc.

Ellesmere. Shropshire. Video available on A.E Equestrian page.

* Mya had found herself a home with the first person to try her a few weeks ago but unfortunately got a very uncharacteristic fright, towards the end of the vetting, and it was decided this wasn't quite the correct home. She was well on her way to passing the vetting.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

£3,500

  • Marley is a great lead rein pony
  • Has done pony club rallies

Marley is a much loved member of our family. He’s a 12hh skewbald gelding, age 12.

We have owned Marley for 4 and half years. Marley is a great leadrein pony but has a cheeky personality and due to this is a good fun second pony.

He was my son’s first pony and they had and still do have, lots of fun. He’s been my daughter’s lead rein pony but unfortunately she is too small to ride him coming off lead rein.

Marley has done pony club rallies and camp every year we’ve had him, even stepping in for friends whose ponies have been out of action at the last minute.

My son has taken him round Eland Lodge 50 Cross Country course, he enjoys fun rides with friends, both on and off the leadrein, has show jumped unaffiliated up to 50 and has been to the beach.

He’s a happy go lucky chap who is looking for his new fun loving best friend.

  • Fantastic All Rounder
  • Good to Do in All Ways
  • School Mistress ready to get on with her job with her next rider

With a heavy heart we are looking for a new 5* home for this awesome pony.

Mitchelcombe Banoffee Pie - Bonnie is a 13.2 Welsh Cob x Dartmoor

We’ve owned Bonnie for almost 2yrs and would absolutely not be looking for anything else if my daughter hadn’t grown out of her.

She schools well, has been to arena hires, XC and SJ and can turn her hoof to dressage, though it’s something my daughter is only just taking an interest in. She has done all PC activities and did Pony camp this summer and really showed what she’s capable of.

Bonnie has been out on hound exercises. She loves a job and loves to jump. She is well mannered on the ground and can live in or out but I would say she prefers out or a mix of the two. She can pull a face when you do her girth but she is just letting you know it’s not her favourite thing.

She hacks alone or in company, great in heavy traffic ,farm machinery etc
She’s great for the farrier, dentist, physio and happy to be clipped, can occasionally be reluctant to load but we have used a lunge line around her bum and she then loads straight away (we also give her a treat once she is on which helps).

Bonnie is up to date with everything. She’s had a new saddle while we’ve had her with regular checks and was recently fitted with a new bit and bridle. She is snaffle mouthed, can be strong at times but never dangerous. She is the perfect pony for someone that is a brave, confident rider who will push her to do what she loves, anyone who has this pony will be very lucky to have her.

This is a super sad sale so no time wasters, extra videos can be sent on request .

Price to include full tack and wardrobe

14.2hh
7 year old
Piebald gelding

He is Chaps registered with showing potential for either Welsh Cob or TGCA. He is by the Scoundrel.

He has been slowly produced, full history known. He has been professionally schooled with 3 strong balanced paces. Prelims he is getting over 70% with an adult and over 65% with a 12 year old.

He has been to training clinics (SJ, poles, XC), pony club rallies, PC camp, holiday at the beach etc.

He has competed in ODE’s, SJ, dressage and combined training. He has a huge willing jump. Has had a season hunting and would be a contender in the show ring.

This pony has huge potential and scope to do grassroots/Hoys. He is ready for someone to continue his education and produce him further. Would suit an experienced teenager or adult.

He lives out 24/7 but would happily come in at night. He is good to shoe, clip, wash, load, travel etc. up to date with vaccinations.

A very loveable, cuddly character, always comes running over in the field. Fit and ready to go.

Ruby
Hampshire
It’s with a very heavy heart that we look for Ruby’s new home

Ruby is currently ridden by children of all ages and abilities (owned by 11 year old) and all off lead. However, we feel Ruby would be best suited as a lead rein or 1.5/2nd pony to reach her full potential. Ruby is one in a million. Happy to be dressed up, painted, plaited and will stand there all day long to be pampered, she is a regular at pony club rallies and attended pony club camp this year. She has been to arena hires, XC, the gallops and competed in local shows proving to do very well in the dressage arena.

Ruby is well schooled and has started her lateral work with a competent jockey but she is still young and so would need to continue her education. She hacks out alone and in company. Not fazed by any traffic/farm machinery, she is confident out on the open forest with ponies, cows deer and pigs roaming around. She absolutely loves a good gallop across the forest if you ask. But will adjust to rider, so if you want a steady walk and trot she is just as happy.

Ruby is one of the most versatile little cobs out there.. with her eye catching looks and powerful compact short backed conformation she is a serious show ring pony and would suit a showing/ dressage home if you really want results. She is happy to pop a small course and really loves a jump out on the forest!

Ruby’s negative areas:
*After coming to us with bad mallenders, which is all cleared up with no further flare ups, she is very sensitive around her legs and needs an understanding farrier (she is unshod). However she is good as gold to have her feet picked out daily and washed for shows.
*If ridden in the school by a complete beginner she will be lazy and yet will be forward off the leg for a confident jockey..
*Ruby travels like a dream in a trailer or 7.5t but didn’t enjoy travelling backwards in a 3.5t the once we tried, however as she travels so well normally we expect it to get better with practice.

Only a loving, capable home for this young wonder pony

We have had so much fun with this little mare, she is well schooled on the flat , and is a responsive ride, a smart leg in each corner type, Savi is really fun to jump, she is bold and not phased by any fillers, she is currently jumping competitively at British Novice (80cm ) she loves xc , and takes everything in her stride, ditches, water , you name it.

Savi hacks out alone and in company and is great in traffic, with farm machinery, motorbikes etc, she is good to clip, shoe, worm, dentist, she loads and travels in a trailer and lorry and will stand on her own, no bother, she is good to catch and is currently turned out in a mixed herd.

Savi would suit an established rider, she is not suitable for a novice, more of a second pony,

Koda has done stayaways and pony club camp. She won her ODE in her group at 90 round a BE course.

For the last 12 months Koda has been ridden by an 11yo girl, Annalisa who needed a bridge from her 12.2 to her 14.2. With this family Koda did a hunting season and proved herself to be a super hunting pony; well behaved and scope for anything!
She also did loads of xc schooling, pony club rallies and unaffiliated shows, and her flatwork was brought on hugely.

She is at her best 80-1m but has jumped 110 bs, she would just need more producing over that height.
She is a demon against the clock, she turns easily with good balance, can go on any stride and is careful.
At home she’ll go 1.20 and even the odd 1.30.

She a super PC/NSEA/BE/BS Pony, she needs a firm hand as she has some sass about her… but in the best way!

She is good on the ground, and had a lot of joining up work done with Annalisa over the last year.
Fine to travel, shoe and clip.

She is a pony that brings home the rosettes and smiles.

??Aurora – 13.2hh, 10-year-old New Forest X Mare ??
Aurora is a lovely, kind-hearted mare who truly is one in a million. She has three good, balanced paces both in and out of the arena, hacks alone and in company, and enjoys her jumping.
She’s taken part in a variety of activities including fun rides, beach trips, one-day events, venue hires, shows, and pony club camp — she’s always up for an adventure and takes everything in her stride.
Last year, Aurora had to have her tail docked due to an infection. This was a medical necessity and does not affect her in any way — it’s simply part of what makes her unique. She also has very mild sweet itch, which is easily managed and I’m more than happy to discuss her routine with any genuinely interested homes.
Aurora is looking for a 5? home where she’ll continue to be loved, fussed, and given plenty of attention.
?? Lots more photos and videos available on request.
?? Happy to answer any questions, and open

Wee Podge - Versatile All Round Competition or Hunting Pony

Ref #: 378324

  • HOYS 133 WHP Final 2023
  • A wonderful, genuine and versatile pony who is now hopelessly outgrown

  • RIHS 133 WHP & Burghley Gold Cup Finals 2023/24
  • HOYS 133 WHP Final 2023
  • A wonderful, genuine and versatile pony who is now hopelessly outgrown

Podge has been a huge part of our family for 9yrs, so please, no timewasters, day dreamers or wannabees.

126.7cm (LHC) JC 13yo eye catching piebald gelding.

Podge has been ridden by both of our children and has competed for the past 2yrs in BSPS plaited open 133cm WHP classes (including RIHS, HOYS and Burghley Gold Cup finals). Prior to this, in 128cm BS classes (placed Home Pony Teams, RHS mini-major, National Springboard and Fledglings finals, indoor and outdoor 128cm Scottish Championships and 2nd in the Scottish 128cm Pony Performance League).

He is still ridden by our 15yo daughter but in 2025 he has hunted, competed successfully in hunter trials, Scottish Pony Club Spring Festival 90cm final, jumped in a few BS open classes and generally had fun around the farm. He has attended BS and PC camps and taken part in other PC activities, incl. Tetrathlon and Eventing.

He is superb to hack alone or in company and is used to farm vehicles/country traffic. He would suit a confident and able child as a second or third pony as he is a forward thinking competition pony and is always keen to be doing a job. He never naps, rears, broncs or bucks and is very easy to do in the stable and at stay away shows. He hunts well and is always mannerly.

Podge would happily step down to take his rider around 60/70cm courses, or would excel at Stepping Stones/Springboards and RI/HOYS Open 133 WHP's. He will hunt all day and jump anything he is presented to.

In July 2025, Podge was sold to a lovely family but just proved to be too much pony for his little rider - full information will be provided.

His vaccinations, teeth and worming are all up to date and he is excellent to clip, shoe, bath, mane pull, trim, catch and load.

Podge is only available to the very best of homes and to the right rider.

More photos and videos available on request.
