Annie - Fabulous Allrounder

Ref #: 401517

  • A pleasure to own

Heartbreaking sale of our much-loved family pony, Annie.

Annie is a beautiful 14.2hh sports cob who has been the most incredible first pony for my daughter. She has taken her from a complete novice to confidently and competitively jumping 80cm courses, enjoying fun days hunting, pony club camp, beach rides, and countless happy hours hacking.

Quite simply, Annie is the best kind of pony — kind, genuine, brave and endlessly fun. This is an extremely sad sale as she has been such a huge part of our family, but my daughter is now ready to step up to something more competitive. While Annie is wonderfully capable, she isn’t an out-and-out competition pony and wouldn’t thank you for being out showjumping every weekend — although she would happily go hunting week in, week out!

She absolutely loves to jump and is bold and brave to a fence. She adores hacking and is a pleasure to have on the yard — easy to do in every way. She loads herself, stands quietly on the trailer for hours, is good to shoe (currently shod in front only with excellent feet), and good to clip (a little ticklish on her legs so requires mild sedation for those).

Annie is not mareish, never sick or sorry, and is up to date with everything. She has previously done RDA and is wonderfully mannerly, although she isn’t a complete push-button — she has a little character and can be cheeky at times, but never nasty.

She would make the perfect mother/daughter share or a fantastic all-rounder for a loving family wanting a safe, fun and capable pony to enjoy a bit of everything.

We are looking for the very best home where she will be loved as much as she is here. Homes will be vetted.

A truly heartbreaking sale of a very special pony.

Comes with full wardrobe.

  • Would make a fantastic lead rein or second pony
  • She is at her best when out hacking
Amber is a charming, willing and versatile pony who would make a fantastic lead rein or second pony for a confident young rider.

In the school, Amber works sweetly in all three paces and will happily pop a fence, both in the arena and out on the cross-country course. She’s a naturally steady ride, but will step up the pace when asked. She’s not strong but can nap with beginner riders off the lead in the school, so as an honest assessment would say she is more suited as a lead rein or a confident riders 2nd Pony.

She is at her best when out hacking. She can be hacked alone or in company and isn’t fazed by traffic.

Amber is excellent to handle and adored by even the smallest of children. She loves fuss, grooming and attention. She is currently barefoot and is exemplary for the farrier, vet and clipping. She can live happily on her own or in a herd, and we stable her in winter and turn out in summer. Great to catch and travels well. She’s easy in all respects.

With her eye-catching markings and lovely paces, she has real potential as a showing pony. We’ve also been advised that she previously did ride and drive, although we haven’t tested this ourselves.

I’m confident with more time, expertise and work she will blossom in the school.

She is a substantial little mare who could easily carry a small lightweight adult as well.

Comes with her tack.

Potential Junior BS

  • Brave and fun jumper
  • Super pony club pony/ junior BS prospect

138 cm coloured Irish gelding 8 yrs

Super pony club pony/ junior BS prospect suit confident child who wants a fun pony who loves his jumping.

Texas is a dude! He’s a lovely pony who has spent the past year in a local riding school being ridden by staff/ better children. He’s come to us as the school have too many ponies his size and he’s not a beginners pony as is forward thinking and likes to get on with his job. He’s just really good fun!

In the school he’s been well schooled and works sweetly on the bridle with a capable rider ( will go for a less capable rider too but not in a shape) and has three smart and active paces and a very good canter. He adores his jumping and is very brave and uncomplicated, taking his rider nicely in to a fence and sorting himself out when needed. He isn’t bothered by fillers, water trays or just about anything and I have been using him to teach my novice apprentice girl to jump round a course on.

He’s very much a cheeky pony at heart and a schoolmaster so will only go according to rider on board. He will jump round 80cm very comfortably with scope to go on and gives lots of confidence jumping making him an ideal pony for a keen child who wants to improve and learn to be competitive on, untapped pony BS potential.

He’s forward thinking and loves to work although will have the odd pony moment where he will have stop at the gate, if you tell him to get on with his job he will immediately but won’t suit a really novice or nervous kid ( he does nothing awful but riding school has taught him where the exit is! Once he has the measure of you he won’t even try it) He will be a super star in a pony club home where he’s kept busy and would best suit a gung ho child. He has plenty of scope for junior BS.

Texas loves his hacking and goes out alone and in company and he has been great in all traffic met to date with him. He will go first or last and isn’t a spooky pony.

Texas is easy in and out the stable, happy to live in or out in a mixed herd, he’s a kind pony who keeps himself to himself. He enjoys fuss and attention and is good to catch, box, shoe but a little nervous with the clippers round his legs and needs a bit of dope to do them. We think he’s awesome and will be a lot of fun for a competent competitive child.

Seen at livery. Will be out and about with us until sold.

Ola Midnight Blue - 7 year old 13.3 Skewbald Mare

  • Prospective Pony Club Pony or Mother/Daughter Share

Ola is a 13.3 Skewbald 7 year old Mare Cob Type.

Only available due to lack of rider and this pony deserves more.

She was bought by my daughter 20 months ago as an unbroken 5 year old. She had been in the same home previously since she was 7 months.

She is an exceptionally willing little mare with a great attitude. Broken by my daughter - lunging nicely and happy to walk trot and canter. Hacked regularly and
will jump a log. She will pop a x-pole but not had much exposure to coloured poles.

Shown once in hand and not phased by anything.

She is still green for her age but not silly or spooky. She has lovely paces but still has a leg on each corner!

My daughter has been travelling since November and Ola has had the winter off. Having now extended her travels it is now time for Ola to find a new home with someone experienced who is able to continue her education.

She is pleasantly forward going but relaxed in her work with a pleasing attitude to learning. Ultimately given some more experience she will make a lovely Pony Club Pony or mother daughter share.

She is extremely easy to do in all ways and loves a fuss and a cuddle. She is great with farrier (unshod), dentist, to clip and to load. She is fully vaccinated.

We adore this pony and it is a heartbreaking sale but we feel that it is only fair on Ola to find someone that will enable her to reach her full potential.

She will only be sold if the right home is found.

Plenty more photos and videos available on request.

Fabulous 148 cm Pony for LEASE!

Looking for a lucky rider based in, or very near, South Oxfordshire. To compete/train as part of my Jumping team. Hence all applicants must be local!

15-year-old piebald Gelding. Scopey, brave, And honest as they come. Has jumped up to 115 in the ring and schools at 1:20+

Placed discovery final at British showjumping national championships last year, has two newcomers and three discovery double clears for 2026, and still in discovery.

Incredible opportunity for a junior rider who wants to learn and move up through the tracks. Kind nature – not naughty in any way, but is quirky and very forward going so definitely a competition, Pony and not a novice ride.

I do have another highly competitive 148 available, and a 138 coming up later this year. Also a riding horse for long term loan to do hacking and flatwork . Same criteria apply.

PLEASE ONLY CONTACT ME if you are local to South Oxfordshire, with a budget for full upkeep of a competition Pony, plus monthly lease fee. You need to be someone who likes like the idea of joining a fun friendly team, with full support at shows. If you like to operate independently, this may not be for you.

You’ll need to message me first on WhatsApp, to arrange a time to chat, as I’m out of the country. Don’t try phoning because you probably won’t reach me.

Based in South Oxfordshire (07973) 394586.

She has been with us since February 25 when I went to purchase a companion pony and came back with two! My plan was to back her when ready if I had time but I realise this isn't going to happen as I work full time and have three other horses at home. She is a nice horse, inquisitive, likes a cuddle.

She lives out all year round, currently unclipped (and quite muddy) has been out for walks on a lead rein, unphased by traffic, loads fine, likes being groomed, stands for the farrier, ok with the dentist.

She has been a perfectly good field companion but in reality I really only need one of these, and I think she would enjoy doing more if someone could offer this. No medical problems, wormed.

Jack is a very eye catching 14hh 2021 coloured cob with plenty of presence and a lovely expression. He has all the basics established and is working in walk, trot and canter, he isn’t in an outline yet happily popping a fence and proving to be bold and enjoyable out hacking. snaffle mouthed not strong or stupid. He has the making of a lovely all rounder in the right hands.

Jack is being honestly advertised as a project. He can be defensive at times, possibly around food, and as he is currently stabled full time this may be contributing to some of his behaviour if face pulling or turning round. He can be a little tricky with his back legs, although with a calm and kind approach he is good. When schooling he may occasionally give a buck into canter.

He is not a nasty horse, just a sensitive one who seems to have been unsettled by changes in homes. I feel he would really benefit from a consistent, knowledgeable home where he can relax, feel secure and be enjoyed. With patience and understanding, he has the potential to go on and do a bit of everything.

Jack is up to date with everything and has recently passed a full 5 stage vetting.

A genuine home is most important for this lovely cob.

We are looking for a superstar pony for our petite 8 year old (120cm) approx 11.2 - 12.2hh

He is walking, trotting and cantering off the lead and currently trotting small courses up to about 40cm.

We are looking for a kind, experienced pony who can hold his hand and help his confidence soar and safely take him out to competitions - primarily dressage and showjumping. Must know their job and not constantly test as the nerves can sometimes creep in.

Will have a varied life to include lessons, beach rides, farm picnic rides, hacking, NSEA and pony club.
Must go for little legs and be suitable for a child to handle.

We would love a true child’s best friend - the sort you can do fancy dress on at your local show, go to camp or stay aways without them getting unsettled and most importantly, something that enjoys lots of cuddles and kisses!

Some minor health conditions considered as long as disclosed and reflected in the price.

We are an experienced family home and have a younger sibling waiting in the wings, so would like something that we can treasure for many years.

Sensible budget.
Ideally located within 2 hours of Dorset

Superb 13.2hh piebald ride and drive cob mare. Mary is an experienced driving pony who knows her job and has taught my daughter so much. She isn’t spooky and she is very responsive.

Mary is also a very happy hacker and will go for miles alone or in company. She is sensible in traffic and not spooky.

We have worked on Mary’s flatwork which is now much more balanced. She would do a lovely intro dressage test and could be produced further in this area.

Mary has only been jumping for a year but she absolutely loves it and will give anything a go. She has been to arena hires and local competitions, has jumped small fillers, brushes and water trays. She has jumped up to 85cm with us but would probably be most comfortable with courses of around 60-70cm.

Catches easily, can live in or out, excellent for farrier and vet and will stand all day to be pampered.
Mary loads and travels perfectly in our 7.5t lorry. Has also traveled in a trailer and a 3.5t horsebox.

She has taken part in riding club activities, local showjumping competitions, in-hand and ridden showing and has been successful in all. She also enjoys trips to the beach. Mary is a fun and forward ride, not strong but not kick-along. She would suit a variety of homes, possibly pony club or even a small adult as she takes up the leg.

Very reluctant sale due to exam pressures. Mary is a much loved pony and will only go to the best of homes. Tack and rugs included.

Penny is a really quality little mini cob mare .. 12.1 at the moment  4 yo .. but still has a bit of growing to do .. likely to make strong 12.2.

Clean limbs, good sort. Really lovely temperament.. sweet and kind in everyway.. the type you can fetch all the others in and leave in the field and she won't flinch. A really gentle little mare.

Done plenty of lead rein with my little boy but he is not the slightest bit interested so someone else may as well be enjoying her .. we did LR classes, handy pony , fancy dress and even some tiny LR jumping last summer..he can barely ride or rise so she was quite used to him wobbling about all over the place..videos attached show her temperament..

Nanny (65) did some light work with her off the lead rein last summer.. hacking, riding in the woods and she went on a arena couple of times before being turned away for the winter to mature.

Back in a few weeks and hacking out .. really filled out and matured but still has plenty left to do .. no bother to get on .. you could leave her for a year and climb on .

Obviously a young pony so needs producing further and educating but has a very naturally quiet temperament and is easy in all respects.

Ideal for LR or for a small mum to produce along side child.. or plenty big enough for a little adult.. ( nanny is 7. 5 stone ish )  . Has lovely paces and a neat little jump.. enough step to progress up the BD levels produced or make a fantastic family allrounder.

Not too many like her around. Good to box, trim and on traffic.

Long term loving home please.

Video attached taken today 13/02 .. first time in arena since back in work.

Based oswestry,shropshire.

Price will increse as we hace her out to clinics and competitions.

Champ is a stunning 14.3hh 8yr Piebald Traditional cob gelding.

Absolutely stunning cob. 3 flashy paces, great temperament and lovely ride. His paces are unreal so eye catching and ridden in a snaffle.

He is incredibly kind on the ground. Really well mannered and patient.

He will wipe the floor in the show ring this season. Has all the attributes to be a lovely dressage horse and would fly up the grades with abit more training.

Responsive without being sharp. Ridden here by children.

Champ also drives. Pops both coloured and natural fences.

He has taken part in autumn hunting and proved mannerly.

Hacks alone and in company and has seen various levels of traffic.

No vices, good to box, shoe, clip etc

No medical history and flew through a 5 star vetting 19th Jan vetting certificate available.

Teeth just done and vaccinated and ready to go.

  • A super fun, eye-catching little mare with all the ability and attitude to match her looks.
  • A lovely mare with plenty to give and ready to go out and have fun with her next rider.

She has three fantastic paces, works in a lovely natural outline and is balanced, rhythmical and easy on the flat. Would produce a very smart dressage test.

Her jump is where she really shines — bold, scopey and careful, happily takes you to a fence and is completely unfazed by fillers, colours or spooky fences. She’s genuine, brave and wants to please, making her a confidence-giving ride.

  • Bold & straightforward jumper
  • Excellent in open spaces & hacking
  • Easy to handle and kind temperament

She’s the sort that you can enjoy every day — equally happy schooling, hacking, popping fences or heading out to a show. Would suit a competitive Pony Club/RC home, mother-daughter share or a small adult wanting something talented and fun.
