Summer is a beautiful registered Connemara mare who is reluctantly offered for sale through absolutely no fault of her own.
This is a genuinely heartbreaking sale for our family. Summer has been with us for the last 20 months and has become a much-loved part of our lives. The only reason she is available is because our daughter has sadly fallen out of love with riding and decided to pursue other interests.
Purchased as a talented young pony with enormous potential, Summer has benefited from significant investment, careful education and extensive professional schooling throughout her time with us. Over the last five months in particular, she has continued her development with a highly respected Cheshire producer, maturing into a genuine, willing and exciting young pony whose best years are still very much ahead of her.
The reality is that another lucky family will now get the benefit of all the hard work, time, professional training and dedication that has gone into producing this lovely mare.
At just seven years old, Summer combines quality, experience and untapped potential in a package that is becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Summer is brave without being silly, careful without being sharp and always approaches her work with a willing attitude. She genuinely enjoys having a job and thrives on variety.
Summer has shown herself to be a genuine all-rounder, even achieving scores in the 60s during her first dressage outing despite this never being a primary focus of her training. Our daughter's ambitions were firmly centred around showjumping, cross-country and working hunter activities, which is where the vast majority of Summer's education has been concentrated. Her ability to step into a dressage arena and perform so well nevertheless highlights her versatility, trainability and natural willingness to please.

She is kind, affectionate and easy to have around. She enjoys attention, forms strong bonds with her people and is a genuine pleasure to own.

About Summer
Summer is a registered purebred Connemara mare by the well-bred Lissroe Charlie (Earl of Castlefrench) out of Bridgepark Sarah (Kilmore Diamond), combining some of the most respected traditional Connemara bloodlines. Her pedigree reflects the qualities she demonstrates every day — athleticism, versatility, trainability and an exceptionally genuine temperament.
Over the last 20 months she has developed into the ultimate all-round pony, happily turning her hoof to hacking, schooling, showjumping, cross-country, clinics, rallies, fun rides and training competitions.
She has been produced slowly and correctly, with a focus on creating a confident, versatile and enjoyable pony rather than chasing results too early. As a result, she remains fresh, enthusiastic and ready to continue progressing with her next rider.
We genuinely feel Summer is only just beginning to show what she is capable of. After nearly two years of careful development, significant financial investment and extensive professional schooling, she has matured into the sort of pony that families spend months searching for.
It is particularly bittersweet that, just as Summer is beginning to demonstrate the full benefit of that investment and training, our daughter has decided to step away from the sport. As a result, another child now has the opportunity to enjoy the next exciting chapter of this lovely mare's journey.
She is brave, honest and straightforward, with a genuine desire to please and an attitude that makes her enormously rewarding to work with.
