Beautiful 15hh, 15-year-old bay mare looking for a knowledgeable, confident new home.

She is a very loving mare with a lovely personality and is a real people-pleaser once she gets to know and trust you. She is a fast learner, tries her absolute best and genuinely wants to do the right thing for her rider. She takes confidence from her rider, so in the right hands she really can blossom.

She was born and stayed with her previous owner until the age of 13, where she was mainly enjoyed as a happy hacker. I have owned her since and have introduced her to more schooling and work.

Her previous owner lived local so only ever been on a trailer once. She loaded but needed encouragement.

She can be a little green in some areas, but she is an easy learner and is always willing to try. She has a lovely jump and plenty of potential, although jumping has not been a major part of her workload with me, so I have deliberately not pushed her for height. There is definitely scope for someone wanting to develop this further.

Snaffle mouth.

She is not a novice ride and would suit a confident, experienced rider who is able to give her clear, consistent guidance. With new people she can sometimes test the boundaries and she can take a little time to settle into a new home. She has napped in the past, but this is something we have successfully worked through. Once she trusts her rider, she is a very different horse and will try her best for you.

She is good for the farrier and is fully up to date with worming, vaccinations, teeth and farrier care.

She may take a little time to settle and build a relationship with a new owner, so a patient home that is prepared to give her that time would be ideal. I am looking for someone who will continue to build her confidence and get the best out of her.

Only for sale due to a change in circumstances. My daughter's gelding and she simply don't get on in the sense that he refuses to leave her field, which has caused difficulties for my daughter. I have therefore had to separate them, and managing two fields alongside a busy working life is unfortunately no longer practical.

She is a genuine, affectionate mare who has so much to give the right person. Not a novice ride, and the right home is far more important than a quick sale.

15.3hh 4 year old stunning dun Connemara x Irish Draft Mare.

This lovely eye catching young horse has all the attributes to make a top class RC horse/ competitive amateurs horse or young riders.

Fia is nicely bred, has lovely confirmation and is a real classy stamp of a horse. Uphill and light to the contact.

She has 3 good paces and although green as only young is proving to have a careful athletic jump and will be quite flashy in the dressage ring.

Full history known.

She came over from Ireland as a 2 year old - direct from breeder and has been in the same home since.

Professionally backed at the start of this year and has continued her education at home and has been to professional yards for further schooling in between.

She has done lots of hacking and hacks alone and in company. She is good in traffic including farm / heavy machinery. She is bold and confident.

Fia has more recently began her education in the arena and over jumps, she has attended arena hires/clinics and in August attended a stay away 3 day camp at Kelsall Hill, where she took it all in her stride and progressed well, with lots of new experiences to take in all weekend.

She has just been out to do her first Intro dressage test gaining 63% and a placing!

Fia is a kind horse and has had a correct start to her education, she is however only 4 and still green, she has plenty of presence and quality and would be best suited to a knowledgeable home looking for a lovely young horse to produce further in any sphere.

Now ready to start her next chapter where she can reach her full potential.

Muddy is a gorgeous 6yo Connie x Warmblood bay gelding I’ve had him since a yearling and broke him in at 3 and a half. Then let him have another year turned out to mature.

He’s got a lovely temperament and laid back nature. He’s done plenty of hacking and is absolutely bombproof in traffic. He’s done little schoolwork due to our school being so deep this year but is a pleasure to school.

Very unfortunate sale, I would love to do more with him, but unfortunately can’t at the moment due to personal circumstances.

TANDY – 13.2hh | 15yo | Mare | Connemara

Tandy is a lovely pony who has been there and done it all. She has spent the last few years in a racing environment and is completely accustomed to large volumes of horses, gallops and a busy atmosphere.

She has done show jumping, cross-country, Pony Club and racing. She hasn’t been a serious competition pony beyond local shows and Pony Club, but with some schooling I think she could make a lovely low-level jumping pony, absolutely loves jumping and rarely touches a pole!

Tandy has also been used as a lead-rein pony and isn’t offended by novice riders. She is forward-going without being out of control and absolutely loves having a varied life. She is currently ridden in a gag and would suit a child who wants to get on and go, rather than one looking for a dressage diva!

She can happily be ridden bareback, hacks alone or in company and is:

Tandy has been known to have the odd buck if she hasn’t been in much work. Her owner estimates this happens perhaps once in every 50 rides, so it is very much an occasional occurrence rather than a regular habit. For this reason, she would be best suited to a family who understands and is comfortable with this, and who will keep her in a consistent level of work to get the best out of her.
