Forest is a handsome 6-year-old grey Connemara Thoroughbred gelding looking for an experienced home where he can continue his education and fulfil his potential.

He has been well produced and works nicely in the school, proving willing and enjoyable to ride. Kept on a busy agricultural yard, Forest is unfazed by tractors, machinery and the everyday hustle and bustle.

He hacks confidently both alone and in company. He is equally happy living in or out.

Forest is unshod, up to date with all vaccinations and is a pleasure to handle on the ground. He recently passed a 5-stage vetting, which is available to view for prospective purchasers.

He does have issues with loading in a trailer which is the main reason for the sale, as the extent to this problem was not disclosed at the time of sale. We have been told he travels well in both small and large horseboxes.

Forest is a genuine young horse with plenty of ability, but he is still learning and therefore requires a knowledgeable, experienced rider to continue his training. For this reason, he will not be sold to a child or young teenager.

‘Cracker’ is a 6yro Irish Draught x Connemara part bred gelding with a wonderful dun colouring.

He is as smart as they come, compact and has plenty of bone standing at 14.2hh.

Has been used as an all round pony, brought on by a teenager, he has done some local competitions, hacking, beach and fun rides etc.

Cracker would do well on the hunting field as he has plenty of go and fun to give with a fantastic bold pop over a fence.

Hacks well alone and in company, walks out very well and is proving to be sensible in all traffic on narrow country lanes. Has seen tractors, bicycles, motorbikes, cars, vans etc.

He loves adventure, bridleways and off road hacking plus a dip in the local river and trip to the beach.

Schooling well in the arena with potential. Goes well off the leg and keeps a consistent contact. Walks, trots and canters on both reins and jumps a variety of fences with fillers. Further improvement on transitions, softness and outline would see him compete in WHP, dressage, low level eventing etc.

Easy to keep with good manners on the ground, stands for the farrier, to be groomed, tacked up, caught from the field and to load and travel. Has been stabled and turned out, happy in any environment.

With a bit more time and work, Cracker could easily participate in a range of disciplines. It is paramount that he goes to a fun and competent home where he will be used to his full capability and brought on in his education.

I am searching for a trustworthy, best friend type to welcome to our kind, knowledgeable, family home. Our horses are treated as part of our family & they receive the absolute best of care. I would be happy to provide references & to keep in touch.

I have ridden for several years & consider myself a knowledgeable & capable rider. However, due to ongoing health issues with my horse, who is now retired, I haven’t ridden as consistently in more recent years & so I am no longer as confident as I once was. Therefore, I am seeking a laid back, best friend type, who does not need riding most days to remain safe & sane (realistically, I will generally ride 3-4 times a week).

We will be enjoying fun hacks from home, attending organised pleasure rides, forest trips, XC schooling & some clinics. I will at times want to hack alone but will also hack alongside my young daughter on her (sometimes quirky!) horse, so it is especially important that I find a level-headed, trustworthy type who I can depend on. Due to us going out in our horsebox regularly, I would like to find a horse who is good to load / travel &, most importantly, who remains calm & polite to handle & ride in different environments.

Our horses are kept at home with us & have all year turnout (stabled overnight during winter). I would love to find a gentle natured, polite character & a true best friend type.

We live in a rural area & although we generally meet very little traffic, when we do, it is often likely to be a tractor/farm vehicle. Therefore, it is hugely important that my new horse is confident around this type of traffic.

Bea would be an ideal first horse or mother/daughter share for a confident teen who is looking to get out showjumping or eventing. She has got 3 lovely, atheletic paces with an incredible jump.

She can be forward and bouncy with her jumping but has a sensible head on her. This being said she is not suitable for a novice.

She has mainly unaffiliated show jumped this year, placing top 3 in every competition, this is definitely her strongest phase. She has competed up to 100cm eventing and showjumped up to 1.10cm, BD record at prelim and novice with a young amateur rider. She has done all pony club activities, including camps and rallies. She is fit and ready to crack on for the remainder of the season.

She hacks alone and in company and isn’t phased by traffic. She has got impeccable ground manners and is a joy to have around.

Good to load, travel, clip, catch, farrier etc.

Up to date with vacs, worming, teeth, physio etc.

I imported Foxy from Ireland in August 2024 as an unbacked youngster and have produced him myself. He has been an absolute pleasure from the very beginning and has made the whole process so enjoyable. Bella is a much-loved, genuine all-round pony and would make a perfect mother/daughter share or family pony.

She is easy to handle in every way, kind-natured, and a pleasure to have on the yard. Bella is snaffle-mouthed, sensible in traffic, and enjoys both hacking and schooling.

She hacks confidently alone or in company, schools nicely on the flat, and has plenty of experience in a variety of activities. Bella has attended camps, rallies, fancy dress events, mini ODEs, and has enjoyed lead rein duties, making her a versatile and experienced pony.

She has most done lead rein/assisted work and jumped out of trot with little people on board!
