Connemara, or New Forest pony wanted, for 11 year old girl, to do Pony Club, local shows and lots of fun stuff. Must not be over 14.2hh.

A genuine and forgiving temperament a priority, as she can lack confidence at first. No buckers, rearers, nappers or bolters need apply! No newly backed or needing bringing on.

Not after a world beater, but must be genuine, straight moving and able to jump approx. 70cm without rushing.

We would like to do workers, so ability over rustic fences a bonus. Just after a nice kind pony to join our family, ponies are kept at home in a country village.

North West area please.

Budget up to £4k for right pony.

Hunted for season with the Tipperary Foxhounds crossing testing country.

Attended many pony club rallies and pony club camp during this summer.

We have owned William for a year and a half and in that time he has competed in unaffiliated ODE's, SJ, and dressage competitions as well as NSEA with my daughter. When we got him he had not done a lot so have brought him on slowly with expert tuition in all 3 disciplines as well as having weekly dressage schooling with a professional dressage rider.

Has 3 correct and active paces. He confidently competes at 80 cm XC and showjumping, being placed most outings. Finished the season competing a ODE at 90/95 cm. Scope to go bigger. He has attended PC rallies and residential camp twice.

Good to catch, shoe, clip, load in both lorry and trailer, and in traffic. No vices. Snaffle mouth, Pelham for XC. Happy hacking out, first/last, level headed in open spaces.

Grassroots Badminton horse in the making with the right rider or equally could be a purely dressage horse as his paces are so good. Very trainable horse with bags of potential.

Would suit teenager / adult / mother daughter share as would like him to continue his education. Too good not to be out and about.

Exceptionally honest and easy to do in all ways.

Sad sale only as my daughter has her GCSC's next year and is loosing interest.

Albion saddle & full wardrobe available by separate negotiation.

Kilconly Star  - 14.2h 12 year old Grey Connemara Gelding.

Zac is a pleasure to handle on and off the ground, he is very well mannered and enjoys a fuss.

He has three lovely paces with a powerful canter and he works in a nice outline.

Has done showjumping/eventing/ hunter trials with good results. Has also been out hunting and has jumped rails to hedges with lots of scope and he will go anywhere in the field. Zac excels in the hunting field from the front to gate shutting with excellent manners. Standing at the meet and great with hounds

This lovely boy would excel in any sphere and make a ideal pony club pony for a ambitious teenager. He is good to hack alone or in company. Good to shoe, clip, travels in a trailer or lorry. Open to vetting. No lumps or bumps.

5* home required for this special pony. Very sad sale.

  • Competing confidently at 1.15 level
  • Beautiful mover so would also make a cracking eventer

Stunning brother of Nations Cup pony River Casanova (same dam) who has been blessed with many of the same attributes for top competition

Nice confident pony who has been professionally produced at the same top yard that started Casanova (photo 2). Never rushed but brought on slowly with his long term future in mind. Beautiful temperament, not quirky or sharp but sane and sensible

As well as being an excellent jumper River Django is also a lovely mover, making him equally suitable for a career eventing. Currently out competing over 1.15 tracks Django has been to lots of the big Irish shows this year and nothing fazes him. He has a lovely rhythm and way of going and takes all the fuss in his stride. This boy will jump up the grades in time but we are currently very happy with his progress for a 5 year old.

And when it comes to show jumping he is a blue blood being from a family of top performers with River Casanova as half brother. Equally older brother River Vivaldi is blazing a trail up through the rankings. They are all by Connemara stallions which accounts for their great ridability and lovely temperaments.

Only for sale as rider is out of ponies this year. This is a great opportunity for someone to team up with a super talent at the start of his career. Suitable for any good competent, confident rider.

Stunning Dun Connemara mare, 15.2h 6yo - A real genuine honest mare who would excel in any sphere.

Has been out Autumn Hunting and behaved impeccably jumping rails and doing gates, great with the hounds and stood like an angel. Snaffle mouthed, good to hack on her own or in company will go first or last and good with traffic. I hack her out with my dog and we have chickens and ducks on the yard which she is not phased by.

Works in a nice outline and has been out to do some combined training, not phased by fillers or XC jumps she is brave and bold. She could be a good prospect for the Connemara eventing league.

She has also been on fun rides and a beach ride with 14yo girl proving to be safe and sensible.

Easy on the ground and super to clip and pull her main (I clipped her ears without a headcollar on).

Lives in or out and doesn’t need to be ridden every day.

Good to box and shoe.

Fit and ready to go, up to date with everything. Plenty of video.

Passed 5 stage vetting earlier this year, unfortunate sale due to owners pregnancy.

Sasha is a beautiful Connemara Thoroughbred cross.

Sasha is a complete dream in every sense. She is very well mannered in the stable and always keen to be caught and brought in! Happily stands whilst being clipped, plaited and washed by the girls. Very easy to shoe and used to traveling in both a trailer and a lorry.

Sasha loves show jumping and cross country and has three lovely paces.

Sasha has competed at BE100 level on numerous occasions. She has demonstrated good results across all three disciplines.

We have every confidence Sasha could move up to compete at Novice Level next season.

An Irish bred pony, with Clover Hill breeding, he has superb confirmation and presence.

This extremely attractive and talented pony could turn his hand to anything.

He has excelled as a Working Hunter; coming second at HOYs 2016, won and reserve champion at BSPS Gold Cup Final at Burghley 2016, won and reserve champion at National Championships at Stoneleigh 2016.

He then came to us and has been a highly successful showjumper; 6th at Arena UK Pony Premier 2018, jumping all 3 rounds to a height of 1m30. Qualifying for Foxhunter Masters at National Championships 2017 and 2018.

His flatwork is excellent; he has won and been placed at unaffiliated dressage.

He has schooled cross country and loves to hunt with the Bedale. He would make a fabulous Eventer.

Loves to hack out, being good in traffic and will hack out alone. Good to box, shoe and clip.

A sad sale as the rider is off ponies this year.

Sky was bought for our small daughter coming off of 128’s to jump Newcomer and Foxhunter second rounds, which they did successfully, but sadly narrowly missed out on a ticket. This makes her suitable for any jockey

With too many wins, qualifications and respectable placings in many finals to list here is a brief list of some of her achievements;

Qualified Winter JC finals Hickstead 2016, Newcomers and Foxhunter second rounds, the Members cup final, POYS 2016 JC winner and qualified for newcomer masters 2016

NSEA wins include winning team gold for England in the 2016 NSEA nations cup and numerous placings in national finals.

Incredibly fast against the clock with the ability to take the tightest of turns and will jump of no stride. For a small pony she can open up to a big stride when wanted also making her great for those gallopy jump offs, but is responsive enough to shorten up and turn.

She also loves cross country, unphased by water and confidently takes on the larger tracks.

Sky is a very uncomplicated ride

Hardly competed this year through no fault of her own.

Incredibly sad sale of this talented scopey grey mare due to rider coming off ponies

  • Winning Team PC Area Show Jumping 2018.

Lily is a stunning little horse with a kind and genuine temperament. She has 3 correct paces and works in an even contact. She has a lovely willing attitude and always wants to please her rider.

Lily was registered last year with Showjumping Ireland and has 111 points. She was successfully competing around 1.10cm tracks and won a 1.20 class. She also qualified for the Royal Dublin Show in the 1.10cm Working Hunter Class. Here, we have focused mainly on show jumping and Lily has been showing my 13 year old daughter the ropes around 1.05 tracks. She was a counting score on the winning team at Pony Club Novice Area Show Jumping.

She is an outstanding hunter having hunted with the Clare Hounds in Ireland and here in the UK. She stands at the meet, waits her turn at jumps and you could easily lead a child from her.

Lily has also done plenty of Cross Country schooling this year up to 100 cm and with the right experience she has the scope to go Novice. She is careful over her fences, extremely genuine and will always try help her rider out. She has been to our Pony Club’s Eventing Camp and lots of rallies where she has been much admired by our trainers and behaved impeccably.

She is never strong or silly and is snaffle mouthed in all 3 phases.

She is perfect to do in every way, never mareish, and a lovely easy horse to have on the yard. Hacks alone or in company and safe enough for you to put a very novice rider on for a hack around the fields.

Very sad sale of a top quality little horse who is ready to excel in any sphere: Show Jumping, Pony Club Teams, Hunting, WHP, and Eventing. She has an amazing future ahead of her with a competent young rider or adult. She would be an ideal mother/daughter share and a 5* home is essential.

She is very trainable and is forward thinking, has now started her lateral work. She has also done some Showjumping and ODE at 80cms & 90cms.

We also went hunting for the first time a few weeks ago and she was very well behaved. She has very good Connemara and TB bloodlines and would be a fantastic broodmare once her riding career is over.

Lives out all year and is a very good doer.

She can headshake but with her nose net and ear covers she doesn’t do it. You will see in the video it doesn’t stop her from being regularly place in her dressage.

He works well on the flat and is producing a nice dressage test.

He has a good technique over a fence and never spooky.

He is bold XC and never strong or silly and he’s snaffled mouthed at all time’s.

Logan will sure to be ready too step up and compete at 100cm next year.

Logan is good to do in all ways and always safe and sensible at home and at competitions. He hacks alone or in company, good to shoe, clip and is good to do on the ground ect.

Logan would suit a young competive rider wanting to produce a top competition pony for the future.

Only for sale as I don’t have the time he deserves, which will enable him to reach his full potential.

5* home only for this special pony.

For Sale - **Fairlight Margaux** 13.2hh competition / dressage Connemara X Sports Pony

A mothers dream, she is the most talented pony who will be your child’s best friend, she has given my daughter so much confidence, red ribbons and lots of fun.

Fairlight Margaux (Magic) is a 9 year old mare by Jonkers Metyo (out of a pure bred Connemara dam (New beginning/Westside Fred). She excels at dressage and has been a star of numerous BYRDS (BD Youth) Dressage camps with my daughter and pony club qualifiers/championships - grassroots etc. Always getting placed with scores in the high 60’s/70’s with extremely complimentary comments from the judges. Magic has been to various showing shows and excels at working hunter, she stands out from the crowd!

Magic’s sire, Jonkers Metyo, is the BEF leading sire of event ponies and began his ridden career in dressage with Alexx Hardwick (International dressage rider for GB). Magic’s dam was a PC event pony and competed in County M&M & WHP classes.

Magic has so much to give, very responsive off of the leg but is not strong and has brakes (snaffle mouthed). Her paces are extremely well established and she is a pleasure to do. She has also done various beach rides, sponsored forest rides, pony club camps and she is happy and settled staying away from home. Magic is excellent with all types of traffic/farm machinery. She comes when called, and is good with farrier and happy to stand alone or in trailer when at shows.

Serious enquiries only and references available, videos and more photos are available on request. 5 star home only!

Fast and careful! Done 2 x BE90 events but loads of scope to go further – very straight, no hangs ups re ditches / water etc.

Could also measure in for Intermediate workers as loads of scope and a lovely type. Absolutely lives to jump!!!

Easy to do. Lives in or out. Would be good for someone coming off ponies or for a small adult who wants to be competitive.

This is a very hard decision - for sale through no fault of his own, our 13 year old 12.2hh gelding. We have had Monty for just over a year, we bought him from a friend through Pony Club whose 12 year old daughter had just out grown him.

Monty is a super all-round pony club pony. He has given my 7yo daughter alot of confidence as she is a nervous rider, he has spent time on the lead rein with us but ideally he would suit a rider who is more confident off lead rein. He is a real confidence giver and a steady ride. He is quite stocky too which makes him really comfortable to ride for a child, as well as being able to carry a small adult.

He loves to do jumps and xcountry, as well as successfully competing in dressage at pony club area championships. He has jumped courses up to 70cm. It is very hard to find a pony like this!

He has done hunting and although he is a steady eddie for a nervous rider, he can really move for someone who wants to go faster. He goes in a snaffle, is easy to manage for the farrier (currently unshod) and happily lives out. He is a good doer - not had laminitis, he is easy to load and take to a show. No vices and clean limbs. No problems with the vet. A lovely character!

Must be a five star home if you'd like to know more - more photos etc please email or call :)

Price includes quality English leather bridle and saddle (which was bought and fitted for him).

We are based near Kirkcudbright in South West Scotland
