He is a little green into canter but try’s his heart out every time.

He has popped over some small xc jumps and poles.

He is good to hack alone or in company.

Full loan with view to buy wanted …. Looking for a fun safe horse to enjoy hacking alone and in company also fun-rides . A school master type that nos its job with out being silly or sharp.

Own private yard 3 other horses in , they are turned out in all weathers, in winter in at night rugged up and fed well I want my horses to be happy .

I’m an experienced lady rider that lacks confidence until I get to know the horse.

Ideally 15h to 17h weight carrier type .

Of interest to both breeders (he is a licenced Stallion, but as yet not used) and anyone looking for a potential mountain and moorland working hunter prospect. As can be seen above Luke is superbly bred. At the Royal Welsh, Gwenllan Brynmor was overall Champion in 2009 and 2012 and 3rd in 2010 and 2011.

Luke stands at 14.3hh now and as a rising 8 year old has fully developed bones, tendons etc and no blemishes. Open to any vet examination. He is a lovely mover and a beautiful bright bay. He is a kind boy with a big heart. Only broken to ride last year by a trainer and shows a good attitude to work. Hacks out alone or in company and is good in traffic. Unshod, good with farrier and has been to several training shows and won and been placed. He has a natural athletic ability over fences, both showjumping and cross country. Has a super jump, happy to jump around a 80-90 cm course, but could easily go on to jump higher (see photos).

At the trainers he is handled and ridden daily, and also on occasion by an experienced 14 year old. He is snaffle mouthed, however, not a novice ride as he needs to be confident in his rider and requires an experienced home.

He was home-bred at Grangefield Stud, Llanarth, and kept entire with a view to being a future ridden/stud stallion, but unfortunately life has been too busy to do Luke justice and we feel that someone else should have the opportunity to bring him to his potential.

Very handsome 15hh 14yr old Registered Chocolate Dun Welsh D gelding.

Merlyn has been in the same home for 12 years, he’s been very well loved and this shows in his nature.

He’s excellent to catch, load, handle etc and loves being with people. He’s turned out with other horses and he’s great in the field and not a bully.

Over the years he has competed in both showing, hunting and show jumping, but more recently he’s mainly been hacking.

He’s excellent to hack alone or in company and loves being out and about. He’s brave in traffic and not strong or silly on open fields.

He moves beautifully, nicely put together and he would be an excellent contender to continue his education in the dressage or show ring.

Would be fab to continue going on hunt rides, beach rides and enjoys pleasure rides.

No novices as he can be a typical Welsh but not nasty or dangerous.

Clean legs, no blemishes, up to date with vaccines, worming, dentist, farrier etc

Price reflects that he has very occasionally been seen to weave, doesn’t do it with weave grill and better when in a routine (winter etc)

Solomon

Rising 4yr old, Welsh cob X, 14’1hh.

Solomon has the temperament you thought you could only dream of on the ground and when ridden, he is riding away well was broken in March. And ridden by a novice with no problems.

He hacks alone and in company very good in all traffic, nicely bold.

Good in open spaces.

Has three excellent straight paces lightly school due to age he does the basics in a nice open outline.

Excellent jump over fences would definitely make a top track 148 pony, just started jumping under saddle bold and careful.

Loads in lorry’s and trailers.

Good to catch from field easy to handle.

Good to shoe shod all round.

All upto date with vacs etc.

Very much ready for someone to put their own stamp on him to make him in to a special pony.

• Gentle happy hacker, with a very low mileage so lots more in the tank.

Twm has done very little for the past 3 years and yet we did a bit of groundwork, got on him did a bit in the field and hacked him out on the road with no issues. He has been ridden in a lesson by a young girl (with someone walking by her side) and ridden by an experienced adult. I feel he would be great going back to what he knows, hacking. That said we don’t know what he did in his earlier life and he may well have other skills. I feel he has worked with someone in horsemanship at some time.

He is happy to stay on his own while the others go out. He is very easy and is a good doer. He will live out 24/7 or stable, he would prefer a routine. He lived out last winter with no rug

He is up to date with dentist (Nov) . Had his back checked recently. Good with farrier and dentist.

Twm is a shy type of 'D' , he will take time to get to know and trust you. He just seems a bit aloof for a while. He would love to have his own person and would like someone quiet and calm. Someone who can gently give him confidence initially as he had done nothing for a few years. He would do well in a horsemanship home as he tunes into you very well once he knows you.
He will need a little time taking it slowly to get fitter.

Buarthyroen Griff - 14.2 5 yo Welsh D gelding.

Bryn is a fantastic stamp of a pony with lots of potential and a willing attitude. He will make a fabulous event/pony club/showing or hunting pony for a child or small adult.

Bryn is extremely genuine and brave but still only 5 years old so needs a knowledgeable home. He has been with me for over two years and has been carefully produced with his future in mind. He has been out show jumping, consistently jumping well at 80 & 90cm and showing scope to go further.

He went double clear with a nice dressage at his first 80cm unaffiliated ODE (Alnwick Ford) and has schooled round a BE90 cross country course, completely unfazed by water, ditches and banks.

He enjoys his jumping and is bold and careful over the fences.

Bryn has been to a local show where he behaved impeccably and won the large M&M under saddle, the 80cm WH and the M&M WHP (85cm) going on to become champion.

He has been to local common ridings, fun rides and has seen hounds. He is always snaffle mouthed.

Bryn is very easy at home, currently living out 24/7. He will hack out alone or in company and is completely bomb proof in traffic (including large farm machinery).

He schools lovely on the flat and has 3 quality paces which were complimented recently by a showing judge. He is forward off of your leg and works in a consistent contact.

Bryn has never been sick or sorry and has no vices.

Sid has competed to BD Elementary with me, but has only been doing long distance rides for the past couple of years.

Excellent to catch, load, travel, great with farrier and dentist. Up to date with worming, farrier, vaccines and dentist. Lives out in the summer and comes in at night in the winter. Hacks alone or in company. Never silly.
