Dallas is a very smart horse who is easy to catch, clip, shoe, load, bath, bring in/out, and travel. She is a mother’s dream to handle at home and at shows (she’s my mum’s favourite).

We have owned Dallas for 6 years, in that time she has been hacked out by all of my family including my non-horsey friends, has had an exceptional foal, has had showjumping success, and most recently has had a career change into dressage and is ready to progress further.

I have been schooling Dallas with dressage in mind for only 6 months, and she has taken everything in her stride. With 47 BD points already, she moves beautifully and has had success competing regularly at Prelim, including qualifying for Winter Area Festivals and Winter Regionals. She has now stepped up to Novice and has her Summer Area Festival qualification and has already won and scored +67%

Dallas will thrive with someone who wants a gentle and kind horse to hack and enjoy, but who also wants to school and compete in dressage. I am very fond of this horse, and as a family her new home is very important to us, she would not be for sale if it wasn’t for me starting uni in September and youngsters coming home this summer.

Dallas can be competitively show jumped by a professional or someone competent, but will throw in a spook at fillers, this is why we have moved her into dressage, and this is what she loves! Dallas will happily pop logs in the woods, or a small course at home, but will take offence at fillers unless properly brought back into jumping, which is not my preferred goal for her new home!
