Cash (Bay Bui Shadow) is a 7 year old Super smart event /pony club all rounder with beautiful balanced paces, plenty of scope and a really laid back attitude to life. He has class 1 breeding throughout. His grand sire is Templebready Fear Bui
He has well established, consistent flat work and has completed several combined training events and pony club area dressage. He works in a lovely soft outline with expressive, athletic and balanced paces. He is responsive, light in your hand and very quick to learn. He’d definitely make the cut for pure dressage if that’s your thing.
He started his eventing career this year, winning his first restricted 80. Won his pony club regional eventing qualifier on a 26.8 dressage and finished 3rd at champs.
He loves XC, tackling ditches, steps, water without issue and is very capable of making the time. He’s currently competing at 80 and schooling around 90 plus. He just needs a bit more experience through bigger combinations and tricky lines before stepping up to 90.
He has a low mileage junior BS record having show jumped up to discovery in his previous home and has several unaffiliated placings. He jumps equally well on a surface or on grass.
He confidently hacks alone or in company, first or last. He’s good in traffic, great in open spaces, across farm land and bridleways and will happily stand to do gates. He was regularly hunted in his previous home and is reportedly very well mannered, happily jumping hedges and gates. He would make a fabulous working hunter pony.
He is super easy on the ground. He’s kind, loving and a pleasure to do in every way (load, catch, shoe, studs, clip, plait etc). He travels like a rock alone or in company, in a trailer or lorry and isn’t phased by big competition atmospheres or warm ups. Will turn out with others or completely on his own. Doesn’t mind being left home alone and doesn’t need to be ridden every day. Never lame, sick or sorry. No stable vices, quirks, ailments or injuries and up to date with everything.
He is safe, sensible, smart and talented but he is not a school master (yet!). He rides like a little horse and needs to be ridden correctly to a fence so no complete novices please. Due to his age and ability we would like him to go to an experienced home with a competent teen or small adult where he can continue his education and have fun. He’d make a great mother/child share or stepping stone between the world of ponies and horses.
Genuine reason for sale from a competitive, pony club home.
