Waterbank Estrella (Star) Bay based blanket spot filly born 30/04/25 out of 155cm KNN graded purebred Knabstrupper of classic type, Waterbank Sirani by 163cm Graded Lusitano stallion Furo.

Star’s dam Waterbank Sirani, was the dam to the 2024 Elite scoring foal at the British Breeding Futurities and was the 3rd highest score for Showjumping at the British Breeding Futurity throughout the UK in 2024.

Waterbank Sirani is by the purebred classic Knabstrupper, Tornado af Knabstrup who was graded and performance tested, becoming the UK KNN Performance Champion in 2011 and being the sire of the leading Eventing Sports Pony in the British Breeding Futurities in 2014 and 2015, being ranked in the top 10 stallions for Eventing and No. 1 Sports Pony Stallion for Eventing in the British Breeding Fututity All Time Sire rankings until it was discontinued in 2018. Her Dam Vile Aetsted herself was also a graded Knabstrupper and was Champion mare at the UK KNN Gradings in 2005, she also competed at the FEI World Para Dressage Championships.

Star’s sire, Furo currently competes Grand Prix British Dressage, he was 2018 individual silver medal winner for GB in Advanced Medium at MCI European Finals as an 8 year old. He was also the 2019 MCI GB National PSG Dressage Champion and in 2023 he represented GB in the Grand Prix at the MCI European Dressage Finals in Paris. Furo is the most successful horse in the history of the Festival of the Iberian Horse, being overall Supreme Champion 2019 & 2020, then from 2021 when the show no longer ran a supreme title, Furo became reserve champion Lusitano in 2021 and Champion Lusitano in 2022.

Star is an incredibly brave and sociable filly, she is highly intelligent, very friendly with a beautiful personality. Max was broken as a 6 year old and has been produced slowly. He enjoys a trip out to the x country course and will happily pop logs etc whilst out hacking. He's never spooky and will take the lead or fall in behind.

Max takes up the leg well and has recently been ridden by small adults, he would suit a competant child or small adult. Max is the sweetest pony on the ground and is regularly handled and groomed by small children. His ground manners are impeccable and he is a yard favourite.

Max is a fun loving typical New Forest Pony, and loves nothing more than an outing. He's been showing as a working hunter pony, inhand and under saddle in native classes, where he loved the attention and always brings home the ribbons. Oatie is a super fun little pony, she has been showjumping, cross country and dressage and is a little star, never had her stop at a fence and she’s seen all sorts of fillers and is surprisingly scopey!

She would excel in any discipline whether that’s low level jumping or dressage, she schools very nicely and is one that would definitely do well in the showing ring.

HOWEVER she is young and will mess about with the wrong rider and knows just about every trick in the book, for this reason she probably wouldn’t be suitable for a child unless very competent, if your firm and know what you’re doing she will be as good as gold but if you let her get away with anything she’ll try it on, she needs someone with a good seat who finds her quirks funny, once she knows where she stands with you she’s a very good girl and you could trust her with your life but you’ll have to deal with the quirks to get to that point. Unfortunately her current riders are completely overhorsed.

Starlight is a 13hh, 9 year old, gelding looking for a new home due to sadly being outgrown by his current jockey.

Out hacking, Star is confident alone and in company, on busy roads and open spaces. He has been regularly hacked out by his young rider and so is unfazed by traffic, bikes runners etc. He is happy to go for a stretch of canter as well as pop some logs, while remaining rideable and pulling up in a snaffle - would make a superb hunter!

On the flat, Star is a flashy mover, working into a contact walk, trot and canter. He knows basic lateral movements and continues to show a trainable attitude.

Jumping is where Starlight really shines! He loves to jump, schooling over fillers, planks, cross country jumps etc. He is a very honest pony, jumping off any stride. At home, he will happily school over an 85cm course with scope for much more. He would excel in a showjumping or eventing home - a real BS/BE prospect with a careful jump and balanced turns.
