Mini is a beautifully bred, purebred Connemara mare with all the ingredients to become a top-level competition pony. She is athletic, brave, and honest, with a fantastic attitude both under saddle and on the ground. For a rider looking for a genuine and talented partner to bring up the levels, Mini offers a wonderful opportunity.
She has already proven herself to be a very capable and enthusiastic jumper. Mini is brave over all types of fences, never hesitating or questioning what’s in front of her. Fillers, combinations, new environments—none of it fazes her. She is a naturally keen jumper, always looking for the next fence, yet she remains polite and responsive, happily ridden here in a snaffle at all times. Her jump is careful and scopey, with excellent technique and a ground-covering stride between fences.
Mini has three quality paces and is well-schooled on the flat. She moves in a balanced, rhythmical outline and is responsive to the leg without being sharp. She has been cross country schooling and took to it as if she had done it her whole life—brave, straight, and incredibly genuine. Ditches, water, steps—she tackled every question with bravery and enthusiasm, showing all the makings of an eventing or working hunter pony. She is light on her feet, quick-thinking, and always eager to please.
Bred for both performance and temperament, Mini is by Woodhaven Jacky, a sire known for producing versatile and willing ponies. Her dam is by Ardgaineen Rebel out of a Tempo Active Atlas line—exceptional Connemara bloodlines with a strong reputation for producing competition ponies with great minds and solid conformation.
She has already been to training shows with us and behaved impeccably each time. She travels well, stands quietly, and jumps round with the same confidence and consistency she shows at home. Mini is not at all bothered by new places or busy showgrounds, and she handles the atmosphere calmly and sensibly.
On the ground, she is an absolute pleasure to be around—easy to catch, shoe, load, and handle. She is well-mannered in the stable, has no vices, and is easy to manage in every way. She hacks out confidently both alone and in company, and she is good in all types of traffic.
