I am posting an honest advert in an effort to find him his forever home - due to my work commitments and having another horse in full-time work - Bam deserves his own person!

Lovely BamBam is a stunning 16.1 Grey Warmblood gelding, 11 years old. Lovely paces, forward going, hacks alone and in company. He is beautifully bred by the New Priory Stud by Cevin Z, and has been owned by me for the last 3 years, and prior to that he was with a teenage girl who only sold him, as she was focusing on her dressage career, and that wasn’t his thing, so full history known

Bam is a lovely boy. He loves to hack - on his own or in company, happy to be infront or behind and never strong in open spaces. He has the most lovely canter. He enjoys jumping, brave and easy to a fence and again, not strong.

He travels well, can take some time to load (used to be perfect) but hasn’t been out and about a lot recently. Perfect for the farrier (just goes to sleep) and good to clip. Impeccable manners on the ground, perfect to catch and great in the stable.

He has regular physio and recently had a new saddle fitted.

Things to know:-
• Bam has fantastic breeding and there were high hopes for his future, but due to an unfortunate accident when he was a foal (his Dam trod on him), he has now been left with fibrotic myopathy of his hamstring. This doesn’t affect him in any way other than a slight gait abnormality which gives him a characteristic ‘stamp’ of his right hind leg and is only really noticeable in walk
• Bam can get stuffy if too much schooling as he can find it hard doing lots of tight circles, but a couple of times a week is ok
• There have been times when Bam can get spicy and will buck, out of excitement or frustration, so you will need to be an experienced rider with the ability to push him through this. He never did this in his previous home, and I do believe my lack of confidence has led to this behaviour
• His ideal home would be a hacking home, with low level jumping or eventing, where he can be out as much as possible with a stable at night during the winter

Bam really is a lovely horse, he is funny, bags of character and would be a brilliant horse for a confident rider looking for a low level horse on a budget. He will only go to the very best home

We are based near Cirencester Park and have great trial facilities, and I am more than happy to accommodate extended visits to him to get to know him first. I would love to stay in touch with his new owners as this is really a very sad sale

Murphy is a super 4 year old Irish bred cob (no recorded breeding) gelding, 15.1hh.

Professionally backed last year and turned away to mature then brought back into work earlier this year regularly hacking out on country roads, seeing light traffic. 

He has been in an arena and done some light work. 

He moves well, and is forward thinking, not spooky or been rushed in anyway.

The most gorgeous 3 yo gelding .. pictures dont do him justice. Stands around 15.2 at present. He sire and dam both jumped 1.60's. He is directly by QUALITY TIME ( QUANTUM )x VAGINIA DREAM ( LANDO ).

Hes a lovely person . He has the most unbelievable step .. hes on springs ... super jump. Lovely to handle ,groom,picks up all feet etc,loads.

Wormed /teeth/feet up to date.Clean in every way.He will go far In the right hands.

Has the tack on and working nicely on the long reins .. he has good brain and learns quickly. Has long reined up the lanes. Had been sat on a few times in the stable and has hacked out a few times walking and trotting . Taking everything in his stride. Even met some traffic.

Would ideally like to keep him but we have a lot of youngsters about and very little grazing for the winter.

Bred to SJ,but plenty of blood to event .. sure to excel in any discipline.. Will continue his education here while he is advertised.

Gone back out to grass after being lightly backed .. but have arena there so can be got out of field and seen loose if required.

Im a confident rider with many many years of experience with different breed of horses. However, as I am nearing 40, i am now looking for my last horse of a life time, so looking for a nice allrounder to have fun and bring me back home safe and in one piece.

I own a small holding which consists of stables, arena and 10 acres of land.

Currently have 6 horses at home which consist of a pony for my daughter, 2 retired that have been with me for years and 3 youngsters I bred myself.

Things I am looking for in my next horse - they must be easy to do in all ways, I often will go to shows by myself or with my young daughter.

Confidence giver and forgiving in the jumping department, someone to help me out when I get it wrong - nice steady approach when jumping, don’t want something that locks on a shoots forward.

Hack out alone and in company.

Would like to start doing more dressage, so something that knows the basics.

I do enjoy the odd fun ride with a friend so would be nice if I can do this without the horse jogging the entire way or running off when another horse comes past. (Had many of these type of horses when I was younger, my body was more able back then)

No bucking, rearing - I understand it is impossible to ask for a bomb proof horse but something not too spooky.

I am actively looking and have a healthy budget for the right horse.

Age - 7 years to 11years may go slightly older depending on how old. But don’t want to go any younger as I do what the horse to have experience.

• Kind, Genuine mare who will excel in any discipline.

Will make a perfect best friend for someone, loves the fuss and will stand for hours to be pampered, she would excel on the hunt field, pony club games, low level dressage, eventing, or just a happy hacker.

Blue is a kind, easy going genuine mare who gets compliments from everyone who meets her. She is easy to ride and gives you everything you ask for. She’s naturally a forward moving mare but not at all strong, you don’t have to be getting after her every ride and feeling like your legs are getting tired!

She will stand for hours to be brushed, pampered and fussed, she’s amazing to handle whether this is by adults or kids, she is never nasty, never pulls a face or lifts a leg.

Amazing to hack alone, in company or led of off another horse. Will wait at the side of the road for however long you need, will wait patiently for vehicles and people to pass. She is not fazed by road traffic, she has experienced everything where I’m based: cars, bicycles, tractors towing sheep!, cement mixer Lorrie’s, wide load Lorrie’s, buses all of the above. The only vehicle Blue is a little wary of is motorbikes I simply take her into a lay by and she will wait for them to pass she doesn’t pull any silly moves you can just feel her tense a little bit. I’m assuming in her past she hasn’t had a good encounter. Easy to hack in open spaces never speedy or hard to control - whatever speed you ask for she gives.

Easy to do in the school, she will pop some small jumps, isn’t fazed by fillers at all!

Easy to do in all other ways such as: farrier, grooming, tacking up, vets, travelling, loading etc super easy for anyone to handle. She’s great around dogs, loud machinery (I have video proof of this)

Blue just needs to spend time around you before she isn’t unsure of you, it takes her a few minutes, where she has not had the best past she finds it hard to trust people but will still give it her all. I’m sure after some time Blues approach and views on people will be completely different with love and care. Although she is nervous don’t let it put you of after a few minutes and scratches she will ease into you!

The only thing I’m working on with Blue at the minute is at the moment when you mount from the ground she’s eager to get going, not silly she just figets. But each day this is improving and will most likely disappear as a habit very quickly!

Blue is ridden by one of my students who is 10 years old and she has been handled by younger she’s a great family pony.

Blue will excel in all disciplines but if you want her as a happy hacker she LOVES it, she loves exploring and will take care of her rider, on the roads, in the field and in the woods.
