Searching for a sensible horse for low level activities including but not limited to hacking, schooling, camps and clinics, farm rides etc.
Doesn’t need to know it all but mustn’t be sharp or easily offended by a rusty rider (returning from a confidence knock).
Will be having a little pop every now and then so not overly heavy. Tall rider so 16-16.3h ideally, approx 6/7 years old. Younger and older considered if they're a good temperament. Green is fine as long as level headed.

We have been lucky to have Dexter here for my daughter Aoibhinn’s 3 years in 15 handers but unfortunately we are now out of class . He is a very special boy to us. So easy and kind beyond what words can describe.

They have won too many championships and supremes to mention them all. Primarily he has been a worker for us but he might be telling us he wants a break from that . Possibly just from hoys level stuff ( hoys qualified in the 153 whp for the last three years and 3rd there in 2023) . He won the 153 SHP at Royal Dublin horse show this year. He was supreme working Hunter pony at the Northern Ireland festival two years in a row as well as being first reserve supreme ridden pony there in 2023. This year he was also champion HOYS WHP at the Northern Ireland Festival, Reserve Supreme at the IPS Spring Championships & Reserve Supreme at Tatts.

Dexter is very correct and a fabulous mover. Will mind the smallest most nervous jockey. The most beautiful boy inside and out. I cannot say enough what a kind straight forward boy Dexter is. There is so much to say about him, too much for any sales add which is breaking our hearts to do. Calls for discussion about Dexter are most welcome but we do feel very strongly about matching him to the right rider and home. You won’t find a kinder more loveable pony and the right family will be lucky enough to know. Sensitivity is asked for as this is a very hard sale . We've owned bertie for 2.5 years we brought him for my daughter to learn to ride on and he's done his job and we now have a new pony on its way.
He's attended hundred or rallies, pc camps, other local camps, fun rides dressage mini ode and hunting.
He does like to be at the front hunting so would need a Confident rider.
He's fine in open spaces my daughter who 10 hacks him out with her friends, they ride to the field bareback they slide off him the dress him up they throw mini hoops on his ears. He really is a super little coblet. Our 4 year old has won numerous dressage clear round rosettes he just follows you round.
He's perfect to catch load lead farrier dentist and clip.
He can be a cheeky pony when jumping , never nasty but will run out at a fence if you have baggy riens there for if he goes to a novice rider he will need someone older sibling or parent to ride him aswell as he will learn to take the mick. My 10 year old doesn't have any trouble with him but she did when she was less experienced he would nap to his friends but we used balanced riens and he was fine.
He's happy to live out or in over night.
He's adapts very well to his rider and will teach a child a ride but as above would need someone to keep him in line. Therefore he maybe better suited as a 1.5 pony.
He is n/p1 pssm so he carries 1 gene we've never had an issue with this. He doesn't get any special treatment. We muzzle him when the grass is long and make sure he works regularly. He's on basic feed just chaff and speedibeet.
He's shod on the front but only as we hack alot he has Realy good feet and can go barefoot. He's very clean in his stable.
Everyone that rides him loves him and he will take a rider upto about 5"2 so easy for an older sibling or parent to hop on.

Filly has been an absolute pleasure to have around and is ready to start her next chapter. She has three balanced, attractive paces and is coming along nicely with her flatwork. We’ve recently introduced some basic lateral movements, which she’s starting to get the hang of—she’s a quick learner and willing to please.

Jumping is where she really shines. She absolutely loves it—she’s brave, honest, and has never stopped at a fence. She’s unfazed by fillers and enjoys her jumping sessions.

She hacks out happily in company. While she hasn’t yet hacked alone, she’s gaining confidence each time out. She can be a little unsure of oncoming traffic, but is fine with vehicles coming from behind. With time and consistency, she’ll continue to grow in confidence.

She had a brief racing career, running just three times before being retired sound—she simply wasn’t fast enough.

She’s is low mileage. She's now ready to find her person and start a more focused job, whether that’s in eventing, showjumping, or another discipline.

Due to personal circumstances, I haven’t been able to give her the consistent time and attention she deserves. Because of this, I’m looking for an experienced, patient, and knowledgeable home for her—ideally an adult rider who is looking for a project
