• Superb in traffic, hacks alone or in company, Tractors, trains & planes don’t faze him
• Kind, genuine confidence-giver with three lovely paces & a fantastic temperament

It is with a very heavy heart that we have made the difficult decision to sell our beloved Sweeney. My daughter is now doing her A-Levels and sadly cannot give him the time and active life he deserves.

Sweeney is a handsome, athletic and incredibly genuine 14yo Thoroughbred gelding, standing at 16.1hh. He has been the most wonderful confidence-giver for my daughter and is a kind, genuine gentleman both on the ground and under saddle.

He is a fun, forward allrounder who loves his jumping and has been slowly and correctly produced into his second career after retiring from racing in 2021. He is ROR eligible.

With his previous owner, Sweeney won the 70cm Cotswold Cup in 2025 and competed in the Cotswold Cup at 80cm/90cm for two years. He has also enjoyed arena hires, XC fun rides, camps, clinics and unaffiliated shows. He has comfortably jumped around 80cm SJ/XC with us and 90cm with his previous owner.

Sweeney is beautifully schooled on the flat with three lovely paces. He is bold, brave and naturally quick, making him an exciting prospect for XC, hunting (he hasn't hunted but don't see why he wouldn't, he seems to turn his hoof to anything), team chasing, show jumping or simply enjoying an active life.

He hacks happily both alone and in company and is exceptionally good in traffic. He is completely unfazed by busy roads, trains and even planes. He has a wonderfully laid-back character without being a plod and is forward and responsive when asked.

He is adored by everyone who meets him and has been the best horse a parent could wish for for their teenager. He would make a wonderful teenager's horse for the right rider, but equally needs a knowledgeable and experienced home who will enjoy and appreciate everything he has to offer.

Sweeney has:

- Great feet

- Snaffle mouth

- No history of being sick or sorry

- Happy living alone or in a herd

- Travels happily in a trailer or lorry

- Full Le Mieux wardrobe included

- Bridle and Ideal saddle included

This is a genuinely sad sale due solely to lack of time alongside A-Levels.

He deserves a home where he can get out, have fun and enjoy an active life.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced home for this very special horse and will be very careful about where he goes.

• Correctly backed and the easiest to do in all ways, a yard favourite!

Mouse has a lovely, laidback personality, he’s very affectionate and doesn’t get excitable. He is snaffle-mouthed and has been ridden bare back. Mouse has been mainly ridden by a teenager and a middle aged lady and will make a nice PC horse or great all rounder!

He will even look after a younger child, proving this when a 7 year old little girl took him on a hack! He is a true family pony! Mouse has also taken part in some pony days where we are based and was very well-behaved, proving to be a favourite.

He has three forward, balanced paces, is responsive to the leg and has been backed correctly. He will work in the arena and out on a hack, proving to love his jumping, both XC and SJ. He is very genuine to jump, never refuses or rushes. He goes at a nice steady, balanced pace, he hasn’t done an excessive amount of this due to his age. He hacks alone or in company (I often hack him with friends or alone) and is good with farm machinery, open spaces and dogs running around too. I have plans to take him to hound exercises this year and have all the confidence in him, it’s clear to see he would make a great hunt horse! Mouse has also been swimming in the lake on the farm, proving no issues with going in water. He has also been to the beach, where he was not strong or spooky, I cantered him on the buckle, and he was a delight at all times.

He learns very quickly and nicely pops round a small course. He would do a nice dressage test, especially catching the judges eye with his beautiful markings. We are currently trying to work on his outline at the moment but did not want to rush him with this. He has also popped some small XC jumps and has shown to be bold and keen.

He has been to arena hires, he suits either a busy or quiet yard. Never sick or sorry.

He is currently barefoot, good for the farrier and dentist. Also good to load and be handled by younger children, will also stand for hours being groomed, bathed and even clipped. Mouse is good to catch as well, would happily live in or out, he is not a fussy horse!

He would make a great mother-daughter share, pony club horse or all rounder.

A 5* home is very important for this lovely chap as he is so genuine and I would want someone to continue his education and bring out his full potential since he has so much to offer someone.

Only selling to a good home due to school commitments and limited time.

No novices/ beginners as he is young and I would like him to have the best education.

Up to date with teeth/vacs/feet.

Braeford Sandpiper

A very special opportunity to acquire Braeford Sandpiper, a 14-year-old, 14.1hh registered Highland stallion who has been produced, competed and loved from home for the last three years.

Piper has had a fantastic showing career, having qualified for the Royal International Horse Show twice and Horse of the Year Show twice, placing Top 6 on both HOYS appearances. He has also been awarded multiple Supreme Championships and Championships at major shows.

He has been exclusively ridden and has competed successfully throughout his career. Over the last three years he has been produced and competed by myself, taking him to some of the biggest showing rings in the country.

Away from the show ring, Piper is quite simply a joy to be around. He has a wonderful character and is incredibly kind, genuine and rewarding to have on the yard. He is good to do in every way and is a pleasure to handle.

He is excellent to ride, well schooled and willing, with a lovely attitude towards his work. He is the sort of pony who will turn his hoof to whatever is asked of him and I genuinely believe he would make a fantastic dressage or hacking pony alongside his showing experience.

He is suitable for a range of abilities, provided the home has the appropriate experience and support for owning a stallion.

Although he has enjoyed a very successful showing career, I would now love to see him find a home where he can enjoy a new chapter. His ideal future would be with someone looking for a dressage/hacking partner, or ideally a breeding home where his exceptional Highland type, character and bloodlines can be appreciated.

Available as a stallion only.

Piper is only being offered for sale due to my increasingly limited time alongside my career and having another pony who now needs more of my attention. This is an incredibly difficult decision and one that has not been taken lightly.

I am looking for an exceptional, 5-star forever home for him. His welfare and happiness are my absolute priority, and I would much rather wait for the right home than see him sold quickly. I will be extremely particular about where he goes.

Alfie is an absolute pleasure to do in all ways. He is looking for his new family though no fault of his own as one daughter moves onto university and the other to a larger horse.

He is an absolute pleasure to have on the yard, he is good to travel, clip, shoe etc.

At 16yo he is still full of life but would equally enjoy a quieter life. He has competed up to BE100 and would be a great schoolmaster for someone. All homes will be vetted & as he has been apart of our family we would like to remain in touch with his new owners.

He hacks on his own and in company. He is currently still jumping round a course of 90 but would step up or down. Alfie has taught our eldest daughter to ride from complete beginner. He can be forward to jump so is not for a complete novice when it comes to jumping.

He does need his hocks medicated once a year to keep him on the road. Full history more than happy to be disclosed.

3 good paces and works sweetly on the flat, bold and straightforward to a fence, not phased by any fillers and is happily jumping around 80cm currently.

Hunted a season with numerous packs, he proved mannerly at the meet and amongst the field. Jumped any timber that was put in front of him and even carried a novice rider out for a full days hunting.

Hacks alone and in company, sensible in open spaces and great in traffic. Good to shoe, box, clip, catch etc. Real workmanlike attitude and a lovely person to have around daily.

Snaffle mouth in everything he does. He has a wall eye which suits his endearing personality. Would suit a Hunting/Allrounder home.

🐴 Storm – Looking for a New Home 🐴

12.2hh | Section B x | 5 years old

Storm is looking for a knowledgeable, experienced home where she can continue her education and reach her full potential.

We have owned Storm for the past 2 years and have slowly and carefully produced her. During her first year, we concentrated on groundwork and took her to in-hand shows. Over the past year, she has progressed on to:

• Pony Club rallies

• Two camps

• Arena Hires

• Cross country

• Farm rides and beach

• Riding in both small and large groups

• Open spaces and varied environments

For the last 6 months, Storm has been professionally schooled by Rachel Hewitt 2–3 times a week. She goes beautifully for an experienced rider.

Unfortunately, for my son, we have realised that he needs more of a schoolmaster-type pony and he has also grown significantly since purchasing Storm therefore looking for a bigger pony.

Storm has always kept my son safe on farm rides, including in big groups and open spaces. However, she is not a first-ridden pony due to her age and the fact that she is still green.

She is a lovely pony who needs an experienced home to continue her education i think she would make a lovely WH pony. She can be nervous with new people, so she needs someone patient who is willing to take the time to build a relationship with her. Once she knows and trusts you, she is a lovely pony to have around.

Storm:

✅ Up to date with everything

✅ Happy to live in or out

✅ Good to catch

✅ No vices

✅ No known health issues

✅ Good doer

❌ No time wasters

❌ No loans

❌ No trials

❌ No payment plans

North West based.

This is a difficult decision for us, so finding the right home is extremely important. We would love Storm to become part of the right family and continue her education.

If you feel Storm could be the right pony for you, please get in touch to discuss her further.

Price is open to offers for the right home.

Serious enquiries and knowledgeable homes only, please. ❤️🐴

4-year-old Dales Stallion - Sire: Tarbarl Matthew | Dam: Sparket Classy Girl

A rare opportunity to purchase a beautifully bred, well-mannered young Dales stallion with all the attributes needed for a successful future. Sparket Worshipful Master is a genuine, kind pony who has been carefully produced and is now ready to begin his ridden career.

Sparket Worshipful Master has everything you’d expect from a traditional Dales pony: presence, bone, movement, and a genuine willingness to learn. He has a lovely, honest nature and has taken every stage of his education in his stride. With the right person, he will shine, whether in the show ring, as a ridden stallion, or in another job suited to his ability and temperament.

Good with: vet, farrier, stabling, travelling in a box or trailer. Up to date with vaccinations.

o Lightly shown as a youngster

o 2nd at the Great Yorkshire Show as a 2-year-old

This is a heart-breaking decision. A change in personal circumstances means we cannot dedicate the time he deserves. He is far too good to stand still, and we want to see him fulfil his potential with someone who can take him forward.

A lovely, genuine horse with a fantastic attitude and a bright future ahead of him.

Draco has Showjumped, Competed in Working Hunter Pony classes, Arena Evented, XC schooled and also competed successfully in flat HOYS Welsh D classes, where he has held his own. Draco also went out with the bloodhounds with a young novice rider and proved to be extremely well mannered, bold and a real confidence giver.

He is a lovely horse who is so easy to do very straightforward, willing and a real pleasure to have around. He has a kind, sensible nature and is easy enough for a junior or amateur rider or good enough for a professional to potentially compete in HOYS and RI exc.143 workers or as a flat horse, making him a very versatile prospect for someone wanting a horse they can enjoy and progress with.

Draco has a great attitude to his work and competition and is ready for someone to continue his education and have lots of fun with him.

A really special little horse who would suit someone looking for a genuine, competitive and easy going partner. I have never known a horse to love his ridden job as much as him and will give absolutely anything a go, there is not one thing you could fault about this little horse. A very sad sale due to change in circumstances.

16.1hh 6yr old Irish Coloured Cob Gelding

• Super safe to handle on ground

York has been with us over two years and has proven to be super safe on lead rein. He's bombproof out hacking and used to large road and farm vehicles.. Safe cantering in open spaces , travels, loads, rides, turns out and stables well in company or alone .. happy to leave his herd . super easy to handle on the ground by children.. my daughter has done it all herself from age 4 until now .

has participated in dressage, pony club, xc training , showjumping, hacking and beach rides .. leads from another horse or a bike but i've never really had to as he's super safe off lead out hacking ..

takes confidence from his rider in school off lead but nothing untoward .. just gravitated towards a handler but with consistent riding i'm sure he would be an ideal FyFR.. loves to jump (60cm

max)

up to date with teeth and vaccinations .. and thankfully being a grey loves a (warm) bath ..

pictures and videos available on request .. great trial facilities ,, comes with rugs and bridle .. brand new BC Poppy available separately ..

Up to date with vaccinations.

o Lightly shown as a youngster

o 2nd at the Great Yorkshire Show as a 2-year-old

o Introduced to lunging

o Now ready to be backed and start his working career

This is a heart-breaking decision. A change in personal circumstances means we cannot dedicate the time he deserves. He is far too good to stand still, and we want to see him fulfil his potential with someone who can take him forward.

We are based near Leeds, 10 minutes from M62 and A1M - no photo or video collections.

5⭐️ knowledgeable, caring home where he will be loved and given every opportunity to continue his education and enjoy a varied life.
