He was bought as a 2-year-old and has spent the last two years growing up and playing with other youngsters at Penllyn Lusitano, allowing him the time to mature physically and mentally. He is expected to mature at around 15’2hh.

Odin was bought to be my future horse. Sadly, he is likely to be smaller than I had hoped. At 5’9, with my legs being longer than my torso, I realistically need a 16’3hh horse. With another horse already in work and a full-time job involving a hefty commute and time away from home, I cannot give two horses the time and commitment they deserve. This is the only reason he is being offered for sale.

Temperament is Odin’s greatest asset. Having spent the first two years of his life living at home with his breeder in my village, he absolutely loves people and genuinely enjoys human interaction. This means that he has not been forced into an 8-yr-old outline, but is learning to carry himself naturally. He is hacking multiple time per week, both in company and alone, with and without the farm dogs. He has been at beach rides and belly deep into the water, proofing to be sensible and honest. Odin was bought to be my future horse. Sadly, he is likely to be smaller than I had hoped. At 5’9, with my legs being longer than my torso, I realistically need a 16’3hh horse. With another horse already in work and a full-time job involving a hefty commute and time away from home, I cannot give two horses the time and commitment they deserve. This is the only reason he is being offered for sale.

Temperament is Odin’s greatest asset. Having spent the first two years of his life living at home with his breeder in my village, he absolutely loves people and genuinely enjoys human interaction. He is calm, kind and affectionate, with a wonderfully willing attitude and a sensible outlook on life.

Odin remains unbacked, as I was waiting until he turned five before backing him. This gives his new owner the opportunity to continue his education exactly as they wish. He has an excellent foundation and has always been handled with kindness and consistency. As a result, he has complete trust in people and his handler.

Strawberry is a lovely 16.1hh, 4-year-old Thoroughbred mare with a kind temperament and all the attributes to make a fantastic all-rounder. Having been in consistent work with us for the past month, she has shown tremendous potential and is proving to be a very exciting young horse for the future.

She hacks out confidently both alone and in company. When hacking on her own she can occasionally have a look at new things, as expected for her age, but she is never dangerous, strong or silly, even in open spaces.

On the flat, Strawberry is working well in all three paces. She is developing a soft, correct contact and, while still gaining consistency, she is improving rapidly and has a willing attitude towards her work.

The consensus by all English judges was that Bilbo is a horse with a bright competitive future, as he is a what they called true to type HW.

Bilbo is the kind of horse that you can leave off for a week and just hop on. He was broken at the turn of the year and has been absolutely uncomplicated. I can truly say that Bilbo does not have a bad bone in his body, albeit he can be a little spooky at times. He has since enjoyed a realistic and kind education, which had his future and longevity in mind. This means that he has not been forced into an 8-yr-old outline, but is learning to carry himself naturally. He is hacking multiple time per week, both in company and alone, with and without the farm dogs. He has been at beach rides and belly deep into the water, proofing to be sensible and honest. Having done the odd jump for variation, he showed his willingness again and his honesty.

He is good to shoe, clip, in traffic and up to date with the dentist, vaccinations, etc.
