Pippa is a 6 year old mare, bought by ourselves from Ireland as a 3 year old. She has a lovely willing nature and is easy to do in all ways – unfortunately she has never really had a job with ourselves, as we had too many youngsters in at the same time and the priority went to our working hunters. 

Pippa was backed as a 4 year old and given a good all round education, schooling well and hacking both alone and in company, we started jumping her as a 5 year old which she showed a real aptitude for, she was jumping confidently around a course of 80cm showjumps and attended some local cross country training, happily jumping ditches and banks as well as going through water. She was then turned away for the winter and we just did not have time to bring her back into work at the start of this year, this was not due to any fault of her own. 

We have now brought her slowly back into work with a view to advertising her for sale, however she did prove to be a little nervous at the mounting block with new riders – we have spent the past month dealing with this issue and she now stands patiently to be mounted, however for this reason only we would ask please no novice riders – although 6 she is still a little green and will need bringing on, however this is the perfect opportunity for somebody looking for a horse with super temperament and talent who has not been pushed too young.

She’s also got 4x qualifications for sunshine tour at Hickstead which is my daughters dream, however, the new pony has fallen into our hands and we can’t keep two, as much as we’d love to!

She is an 11.3 (LHC) REGISTERED Welsh A chestnut mare with flaxen mane and tail. The pretty type you could show if you were a showing family- we are more into handy pony and jumping.

There are not many ponies you can take in the garden/house and on the school run with around 70 school kids surrounding and grabbing at them, she really is the most chilled lead rein pony.

She’s the type that can be bathed and plaited by kids, cartwheeled around, dressed up with sheets over her head to be a ghost(!) at halloween, tinsel at Christmas, all the non-horsey school friends coming for rides after school and have non-horsey dads tack her up!

She is not being sold as a first ridden as has not been used as this, she’s been our lead rein queen. I imagine older competent siblings or petite parents could school her and get her to this stage, but that’s not for us. She’s been ridden by an older kid and proved to be a great second pony with a cracking little jump on her.

Our lead rein queen has done her job and my daughter is now ready to move on. My daughter has gone from being wobbly jelly, to a beautiful rising trot, first canters, and winning show jumping rounds, all on the lead. They won the winter showjumping league in May in both x-poles and 40cm. She’s also got 4x qualifications for sunshine tour at Hickstead which is my daughters dream, however, the new pony has fallen into our hands and we can’t keep two, as much as we’d love to!

She is an 11.3 (LHC) REGISTERED Welsh A chestnut mare with flaxen mane and tail. The pretty type you could show if you were a showing family- we are more into handy pony and jumping.

There are not many ponies you can take in the garden/house and on the school run with around 70 school kids surrounding and grabbing at them, she really is the most chilled lead rein pony.

She’s the type that can be bathed and plaited by kids, cartwheeled around, dressed up with sheets over her head to be a ghost(!) at halloween, tinsel at Christmas, all the non-horsey school friends coming for rides after school and have non-horsey dads tack her up!

She is not being sold as a first ridden as has not been used as this, she’s been our lead rein queen. I imagine older competent siblings or petite parents could school her and get her to this stage, but that’s not for us. She’s been ridden by an older kid and proved to be a great second pony with a cracking little jump on her.

Great to load, clip, trim(barefoot), happy to stand on box all day, chilled at shows, up to date with teeth and vaccs etc. Fit and ready to go after a successful camp!

Cisco is a lovable, kind boy looking for his best friend to enjoy lots of cuddles and have fun. He is an absolute sweetheart to handle, great to load on the horsebox, currently unshod as fab feet and good for the farrier, and fine with the vet.

He has been schooling really well, quick to learn, can do a nice leg yield and a shoulder in. He is full brother to our lovely Frank who is currently competing and winning at Advanced Medium dressage.

We have jumped him a couple of times and he absolutely loved it! He has hacked in company around our gallops and was well behaved when cantering with others.

Cisco has been to arena hires and was a really good boy.
