This is a beautiful and much loved horsebox that has been our home away from home at events such as Blair horse trials. We commissioned the conversion on a 2008 DAF LF chassis (4461cc) in 2015 and have owned it since. Tilting cab retained for easier maintenance. 5 gear manual gearbox (plus reverse!), power steering, drives very easily. We chose KPH for the safety and quality inherent in the build.

Horses travel really well, currently stalled for two horses with a walk in tack room in the horse area. Travelled two 17.2hh horses very comfortably over long distances many times.

All features of a KPH Helios included:

*Horse external wash-off, external hook-up, horse area roof vent, rug rack, large walk in lockable tack room, horse area CCTV and reversing camera installed, spare wheel.

Lacey is a well-bred 12.2hh Welsh Section B mare who has been steadily gaining experience across a variety of activities since I bought her in October 2025.

At the time, I was told that she had been ridden away as a 3-year-old and had subsequently mainly been shown in hand. Since then, with my granddaughter Kate, Lacey has enjoyed gaining lots of new experiences and is proving to be an active, athletic and naturally talented jumping pony.

Her experience to date includes:

• 3–4 local festival ride-outs

• Lockerbie Gala and parade

• Local Pony Club show jumping, including her first SJ classes

Lacey is a very natural jumper, showing plenty of ability and scope for her size. She is forward-going and active both when being led and when ridden, and has lovely conformation, movement and presence.

She is friendly, well mannered and straightforward to handle, loads and travels well and has no vices. Her flu jags are up to date, she has always been ridden in a snaffle and has not been shod.

I bought Lacey for my 8-year-old granddaughter, but she seems more forward and active than we were looking for. She would therefore suit a confident, capable young rider who is looking for a talented pony to continue producing and developing.

She is not suitable for a complete novice, due to her age, forward nature and relatively limited ridden experience.

Lacey has a lot of potential and I feel she would really flourish with the right child and family. She has a good attitude and has already learned and improved a lot since I have owned her.

Toby is a very handsome 17hh, 4yo Irish gelding, Shire x Irish Draught. A genuine, kind horse with an old head on young shoulders and a real armchair ride.

Toby had two days out with the Coakham Bloodhounds last season before being turned away for the winter. He took to it brilliantly, proving sensible and mannerly with hounds, standing quietly at the meet and behaving impeccably throughout the day. He was bold and genuine to a fence, happily jumping what was put in front of him without making a fuss. He didn’t get strong or silly. He has all the makings of a fantastic hunter.

He has been back in work since March 2026 and has been kept in light, enjoyable work, mainly hacking out along with beach rides and pub rides with customers. He has been exceptionally sensible and straightforward throughout.

Toby is an exceptionally safe hack. He is good in traffic and will happily hack alone or in company. He doesn’t hot up in open spaces or when ridden in a larger group and is quite content to go at the front, middle or Back. He has never bucked, reared or bolted.

He absolutely loves a day out and has thoroughly enjoyed his beach and pub rides. He is sensible in company, easy to ride and takes everything in his stride, making him a very enjoyable horse to have around.

Toby also loves cross country schooling. He is brave, straightforward and always willing to have a go. He doesn’t question what is asked of him and simply wants to please his rider.

He is still green in the school, as you would expect for his age and the fact his work has intentionally been kept light, but he has a good basic education. Tilting cab retained for easier maintenance. 5 gear manual gearbox (plus reverse!), power steering, drives very easily. We chose KPH for the safety and quality inherent in the build.

Horses travel really well, currently stalled for two horses with a walk in tack room in the horse area. Travelled two 17.2hh horses very comfortably over long distances many times.

All features of a KPH Helios included:

*Horse external wash-off, external hook-up, horse area roof vent, rug rack, large walk in lockable tack room, horse area CCTV and reversing camera installed, spare wheel.

*Full and very comfortable living with toilet, shower, oven /grill and hob, fridge ,TV, multiple cupboards for storage, stowable table, hot water and heating, LED lighting, water tank, solar panel, can sleep 4 with 2 in Luton and 2 in living.

Lacey is a well-bred 12.2hh Welsh Section B mare who has been steadily gaining experience across a variety of activities since I bought her in October 2025.

At the time, I was told that she had been ridden away as a 3-year-old and had subsequently mainly been shown in hand. Since then, with my granddaughter Kate, Lacey has enjoyed gaining lots of new experiences and is proving to be an active, athletic and naturally talented jumping pony.

Her experience to date includes:

• 2–3 DFH Pony Club rallies

• 3–4 local festival ride-outs

• Lockerbie Gala and parade

• Local Pony Club show jumping, including her first SJ classes

• Dumfries & Galloway Horse Show – SJ and WHP classes on the lead rein

• Show jumping at Greenlands Equestrian, where she won her class

• Dumfries County Show – 50cm and 60cm WHP Training Stakes, where she produced two good rounds

Lacey is a very natural jumper, showing plenty of ability and scope for her size. She is forward-going and active both when being led and when ridden, and has lovely conformation, movement and presence.

She is friendly, well mannered and straightforward to handle, loads and travels well and has no vices. Her flu jags are up to date, she has always been ridden in a snaffle and has not been shod.

I bought Lacey for my 8-year-old granddaughter, but she seems more forward and active than we were looking for. She would therefore suit a confident, capable young rider who is looking for a talented pony to continue producing and developing.

She is not suitable for a complete novice, due to her age, forward nature and relatively limited ridden experience.

Lacey has a lot of potential and I feel she would really flourish with the right child and family. She has a good attitude and has already learned and improved a lot since I have owned her.

I previously sold a very similar pony, Byley Rufus, two years ago, and he has gone on to progress very well.

Toby is a very handsome 17hh, 4yo Irish gelding, Shire x Irish Draught. A genuine, kind horse with an old head on young shoulders and a real armchair ride.

Toby had two days out with the Coakham Bloodhounds last season before being turned away for the winter. He took to it brilliantly, proving sensible and mannerly with hounds, standing quietly at the meet and behaving impeccably throughout the day. He was bold and genuine to a fence, happily jumping what was put in front of him without making a fuss. He didn’t get strong or silly. He has all the makings of a fantastic hunter.

He has been back in work since March 2026 and has been kept in light, enjoyable work, mainly hacking out along with beach rides and pub rides with customers. He has been exceptionally sensible and straightforward throughout.

Toby is an exceptionally safe hack. He is good in traffic and will happily hack alone or in company. He doesn’t hot up in open spaces or when ridden in a larger group and is quite content to go at the front, middle or Back. He has never bucked, reared or bolted.

He absolutely loves a day out and has thoroughly enjoyed his beach and pub rides. He is sensible in company, easy to ride and takes everything in his stride, making him a very enjoyable horse to have around.

Toby also loves cross country schooling. He is brave, straightforward and always willing to have a go. He doesn’t question what is asked of him and simply wants to please his rider.

He is still green in the school, as you would expect for his age and the fact his work has intentionally been kept light, but he has a good basic education. He is balanced, responsive off the leg and beginning to work consistently into a soft outline. He has a lovely soft mouth and is naturally comfortable and easy to ride.

On the ground, Toby is an absolute pleasure. He has a very kind, loving temperament and is always pleased to see you arrive at the yard. He will stand happily to be bathed, clipped and plaited and is easy to do in every way.

Good to catch, load, clip and shoe. No vices.

A lovely young horse who is remarkably sensible for his age. Toby would make a superb family hunter, mother/daughter share or quality allrounder for someone looking for a genuine, safe horse with plenty of ability and a temperament that is very hard to find.

Apple came over from Ireland as a 3yo, she was backed by myself and has been slowly produced.

Together we have pretty much had a go at everything, showing where she was pulled Champion, working hunter, 1st & 2nd, eventing (many wins and many placing, inc 1st Princethorpe 2DE, 1st Solihull Cotswold cup, 1st shelford eventer trial, 2nd nortondisney eventer trial. Constantly scoring low 20s, qualified for quest semi finals always 70% plus, I think she has actually won every time out!

Beach stay away holidays, yard Christmas rides, pub rides, sponsored rides. You name it we’ve probably done it!

Apple is a lovely pony to have at home and take out.

Good to catch, clip, plait, bath, farrier, load, happily turns out with geldings.

Lives in or out on a working farm, not worried if not ridden for a month or ridden everyday, she doesn’t change.

Hacks alone or in company can be left out/ in a stable on her own. Take her in any open space and be safe.

Unfortunately Apple was brought as a project, I’ve kept her this long as I’ve absolutely loved working with her and she’s actually found my love for competing again. I have so much to thank her for. She enjoys her work, the jolly type you get on and instantly just puts a smile on your face.

She hasn’t be grilled in the school, we hack most days which she loves.
