At home she is happy to stand for hours being groomed, pampered and adored, and is equally happy taking her little jockey for a quiet hack along the beach.

HARRY - ‘Furnish Starlight’

6yo Purebred Connemara Gelding

Born: April 2020

Height: Approx. 14.3hh – (slightly higher behind so potentially growing)

Registered: Connemara Pony Breeders Society, full green passport

Breeding:

Dam: Laurel Harp

Sire: Cullane Comet

Grandsire: Crusheen Comet

Harry is a beautiful, genuine and incredibly kind young Connemara who has become a real yard favourite. He is a leg-on, sensible ride without being sharp or fizzy, yet has the ability to step up when asked.

He’s got an old head on young shoulders making him a lovely combination of sensible and talented.

I bought Harry in March 2025 as a green rising five-year-old and have given him a varied, positive education without rushing him. His experience includes plenty of hacking, cross-country and pole clinics, arena hires and fun rides. He takes everything in his stride and has a fantastic attitude to his work.

🏆 Education & Competition

Harry is working consistently in walk and trot in a contact, with his collected canter developing nicely. He has started lateral work and is showing plenty of promise.

He’s competed at dressage scoring 62.05%, on his first outing. He scored 65% on his second competition with lovely comments again from the judges.

Harry has a lovely jump with a neat technique behind and is honest to a fence. He has jumped barrels, ditches, fillers and brushes. I have deliberately kept his jumping sympathetic to his age and development rather than over-jumping him.

🌟 What makes Harry special

* Genuine, affectionate and incredibly friendly

* Loves attention and will come to you in the field to be caught

* Sensible, laid-back and not sharp or fizzy

* Excellent manners both ridden and on the ground

* Hacks alone or in company

* Good in traffic – has happily hacked in company along the busy A40 in Cheltenham

* Loads and travels well in trailers, vans and lorries

* Happy living in or out 24/7

* Happy turned out with mares, geldings or alone (if in sight of another)

* Excellent for the farrier and dentist

* Great to clip

* Doesn’t destroy rugs or fly masks

* Vaccinations up to date

* Regular physio and dental care

* No sarcoids

* NN Hoof Wall

Harry has all the foundations to be enjoyed now while having plenty of scope to develop further. He would suit a lightweight adult or competent teen looking for a genuine Connemara to produce and enjoy across a variety of disciplines.

Only for sale as I am looking for something bigger.

A very special, straightforward young horse who is easy to love and exciting to produce.

• Very scopey jump but super rideable
• He's kind & genuine, a lovely boy to deal with
• Would suit amateur show jumper to take up the levels

Genuine reason for sale – due to a change in personal circumstances and no stable for the winter. Sensible offers considered. The right home is more important than price.

Cooper is a lovely 16.2hh, 9-year-old bay gelding with fantastic Anglo European breeding. He is low mileage for his age through no fault of his own and has a lot of potential for the future.

He has experience in dressage, showjumping and cross country, and showjumping is where he really shines. He is currently jumping around 90cm at shows and happily popping 1.20m at home, with plenty more scope to develop. He is extremely easy and adjustable around a course, never strong, and always wants to jump.

He is genuine to a fence and unfazed by fillers and water trays. He has a very natural talent for showjumping and, with more competition experience and mileage, has the potential to progress through the levels. My 15-year-old, relatively inexperienced sister has jumped him around a 1m course with no issues, which is a testament to how rideable and genuine he is.

Cooper is well behaved at shows and different venues and is sensible in the warm-up. He is not spooky or silly and takes everything in his stride. He will happily jump in and out of water and has also been cross country, although this is an area where he is greener and would benefit from further exposure.

He is a kind, genuine horse with fantastic manners and is a pleasure to have around on the ground. He is good to load, clip, travel and is excellent with the farrier.

He hacks well in company and is good with all types of traffic. He is less confident hacking alone and needs a confident rider to give him reassurance. He is not dangerous or silly; he simply lacks confidence on his own and benefits from a rider who believes in him.

Cooper is snaffle-mouthed for everything and is light and soft to ride. He genuinely enjoys his work and is a lovely horse with a lot to offer the right person.

He is up to date with teeth, vaccinations, farrier and physio. Was barefoot and managed great but due to do a bit more hacking and change in weather he went foot sore so now has shoes on allround and going fine with them on.

Lots of videos available on request.

A genuine horse with a genuine reason for sale. Cooper has so much potential and will be a very exciting prospect for someone looking to produce a talented, kind and willing horse.

If you’re looking for competition – he is bred to jump, but more than that, he has a bold, positive attitude and even at his age, he is happy to leave his dam to follow one of our ridden horses round the field tracks!

Classy colt foal with lots of presence, a pretty head, good conformation and bone with straight elastic movement. He has three excellent paces and a super genuine temperament, who wants to please. Born May 2026, he will make around 14.2-14.2hh and is N/N for HWSD.

He will make a cracking pony for working hunter, eventing, dressage and more in the future, and will be fun to show as he is growing up.

Highland Nights - stable name Blosse

Cahanagh’s Golden Boy (Western Boy) × Hawaii Nights (Porter Rhodes)

Blosse’s dam, Hawaii Nights, was a cross-country machine who successfully competed to CIC** level (the pre-2019 equivalent of today’s CCI3*-S level) produced by an amateur rider. Her damsire, Porter Rhodes, is the sire of Pippa Funnell’s Badminton ride Maya’s Hope.

Her sire, Cahanagh’s Golden Boy, is a Class 1 Connemara stallion by Western Boy.

Blosse has shown plenty of her mother’s enthusiasm and ability. Prior to injury she hacked extensively, was lightly schooled, had jumped around 80cm and had been cross-country schooling, which she thoroughly enjoyed. She is still green for her age and was not yet fully established.

Blosse is being offered primarily as a broodmare prospect following a previous injury to her hindquarters. The injury resulted from an accident with a jump filler, rather than through competition or general wear and tear.

Her full veterinary history is available and I am very happy to discuss everything openly with serious enquiries.

Blosse has a standard equine passport but is not currently registered with a specific breed or sport-horse studbook.

With her combination of proven eventing bloodlines, Connemara breeding, movement, type and temperament, she could be a really interesting prospect for someone looking to breed a quality event pony, working hunter or smart sport horse.

Blosse was bred by us and has been with us all her life. This is a very difficult decision, so finding her an experienced, knowledgeable and loving long-term home is extremely important.

He is now looking for an experienced home to continue his education and bring out his full potential.

Currently living out in a mixed herd, although he has stabled previously.

• This boy is bred to jump!

TawnyDunOscar has the potential to do it all...............

If you’re looking for a stallion - his bloodlines include Templebready Fear Bui, Moonlight Silver Shadow, Castleside JJ, Silver Shadow, Cuchulainn, Rynn Richard - then Oscar could be the one. You don’t need to go to Ireland to get the best of Irish breeding - he is already here in the UK.

DEFINITELY NOT ONE TO MISS!

A lovely, well-bred traditional type Connemara gelding, by Class 1 stallion Williams Boy, with Champion Bob and Commanding Hero further back in his pedigree.

Louie has a lovely personality — a typical cheeky chap who is a pleasure to have around and nice to handle on the ground.

He has been started correctly and not rushed. He is doing nicely in the school, with a good foundation to continue building on, and happily pops a jump. He hacks in company and is becoming increasingly confident hacking alone.

He is now looking for an experienced home to continue his education and bring out his full potential.

Currently living out in a mixed herd, although he has stabled previously.

HWSD: N/N

Up to date with everything.

An exciting opportunity for someone to continue Louie’s education and bring on a lovely young Connemara over the winter.
