• EXCEPTIONAL 5YO SUPERSTAR
• SERIOUS FUTURE GRAND PRIX PROSPECT

BILLY CANADA – GINA

EXCEPTIONAL 5YO SUPERSTAR - ALREADY REPRESENTED GREAT BRITAIN ON THE WORLD STAGE

A SERIOUS FUTURE GRAND PRIX PROSPECT WITH A WORLD-CLASS RECORD TO MATCH HER PEDIGREE.

Gina is an exceptionally talented British-bred mare by the renowned Billy Stud, boasting an outstanding competition record that sets her apart from the crowd. With multiple championship successes already to her name, including international young horse victories, she represents a rare opportunity to acquire a young horse with proven ability, exceptional consistency and a seriously exciting future ahead of her.

With Gina, you are not simply buying potential. You are investing in a young horse who is already delivering results at the highest level of young horse competition.

EXCEPTIONAL PEDIGREE

British-bred by the prestigious Billy Stud, Gina has the breeding, athleticism and natural ability to fulfil her enormous promise.

Her sire, Billy Zeus, was an exceptionally talented jumper whose own career was unfortunately cut short through injury. He is by none other than the legendary For Pleasure, a name synonymous with championship showjumping and breeding excellence.

Her dam line is equally impressive, with Billy Bangles by Douglas VDL, a sire renowned for producing quality performers with scope, carefulness and competitive ability.

A pedigree designed for performance, combined with a mare who is already proving herself in the ring.

A REMARKABLE COMPETITION RECORD

Gina’s record is all the more impressive when you consider how carefully she has been produced. As a four-year-old, she contested just half a dozen classes before enjoying a well-deserved break in the field. She returned to competition in April this year as a five-year-old, having been given time to mature and develop without being overproduced.

Since returning, she has made an extraordinary impression.

Career highlights include:

- 2 x First Places at the prestigious World Young Horse Championships at Zangersheide, Belgium, representing Great Britain on the world stage.

- British Young Horse Championships Winner, demonstrating her quality against the best of her age group.

- 6th Place in the British Championship Final, jumping a superb double clear.

- 9th Place in the iconic Hickstead International Arena, having finished an impressive 4th in the qualifier from a class of approximately 100 starters.

- 2nd Place in the British Novice Championship at the National Championships, Stoneleigh.

- Qualified Newcomers Final 2027.

- Already jumping double clears at 1.20m and ready to progress into Foxhunter classes.

An outstanding list of achievements for a mare of just five years old, with so much more still to come.

WHY GINA IS SO SPECIAL

Gina combines the qualities every serious showjumping producer looks for: exceptional carefulness, a competitive attitude, natural athleticism and remarkable consistency.

She is a genuine competitor who knows her job, rises to the occasion and has already demonstrated that she can deliver under championship pressure.

Her British Showjumping record speaks for itself, and her results at both national and international level provide a very strong indication of the quality she possesses.

She is the type of young horse that is becoming increasingly difficult to find: beautifully bred, correctly produced, proven in competition and still at the very beginning of her career.

For the ambitious rider or professional looking for a top-class young horse to produce through the age classes and beyond, Gina offers an exceptionally exciting opportunity.

She is comfortable jumping on all surfaces, both indoors and outdoors.

The dam of this foal, Maxima, is daughter of the renowned Sir Donnerhall. Maxima is maternal sister to the 81% GP freestyle horse Kingsdale, who is on the long list for the Dutch Olympic team with Thamar Zwiestra. Maxima's dam is full sister to the Olympic horse Elegance, and Maxima herself is also sister to Jackson (PSG/Inter I) ridden by Lottie Fry.

Combining elite genetics, proven performance bloodlines, and a world-renowned maternal family, this foal represents an extraordinary opportunity for someone seeking their next top-level dressage prospect. With the pedigree, rideability, and athletic potential to develop through the levels, he/she has all the ingredients of a future Grand Prix horse.

His pedigree traces to the legendary mare Ferna, full sister to Olympic medalist and influential sire Don Schufro, a family responsible for numerous international sport horses and licensed stallions. A true stamp of his sire, Kalijento SVNH boasts three expressive gaits, an elegant modern type, and outstanding breeding credentials. With generations of Olympic and Grand Prix success behind him, he represents a rare opportunity for breeders seeking proven genetics in a compact, highly talented young stallion. She descends from the highly respected Dodona dam line, a family renowned for producing generations of elite sport horses, licensed stallions, and successful breeding mares. Combined with Kalijento, we expect an exceptionally good-tempered, medium-sized offspring blending the proven power and substance of the Dodona dam line with Kalijento's outstanding character and rideability.

• Sensible, easy going progressing nicely in the school
• Jumping a small course of fences very straightofrward.

Luna is a mare very close to our hearts. Homebred here at Verdi’s, she is by Crowns Wonder Pearl out of a mare by OBOS Quality, bringing together a lovely type, a fabulous temperament and plenty of natural common sense, with that lovely OBOS Quality jump thrown in for good measure!

Add her dun colouring into the mix and she really is a lovely package. However, it’s her attitude that makes us smile the most. Talent is lovely, but talent with this much willingness and such an easy going outlook is something we’re very excited about.

Broken in last winter, Luna has been a dream to bring on. She has never said no, never had a tantrum and has taken everything we’ve introduced in her stride. No drama, no lengthy negotiations, just a very sweet mare with an “OK, let’s give it a go” approach to life. She really is THAT chilled.

Her schooling is progressing nicely in all three paces. She works in a lovely outline, has a natural rhythm and is beginning to develop the balance and strength to match. She gives you a lovely foundation to work with, and we can see her producing a very pleasing dressage test as her education continues.

Luna is currently jumping small courses, showing a willing attitude and scope to progress. There is plenty still to learn, but she approaches the job with the same enthusiasm and common sense she brings to everything else. We think she would make a very smart little event horse, and we’re excited to see what she makes of the world as she gains more experience.

Hacking is a particular favourite. She goes alone and in company and loves heading out to explore. She’s the one everyone wants to take, enjoyable, straightforward and sensible, with enough about her to make it fun. She has been good in open spaces and with the small amount of village and farm traffic she has seen so far.

On the ground, she is equally lovely. Good to shoe, catch, clip and generally do, she has been a pleasure to have around throughout.

Luna is now ready to start heading out to arena hires and clinics, gaining experience and enjoying the next chapter of her education. She has had a lovely start, and we’re looking for someone who will keep building on that with patience, consistency and a bit of ambition.

Home is extremely important to us. We would love to see Luna with a rider who is excited about producing a young horse and giving her the time to develop her talent. Having bred her and watched her grow up, we would really love to follow her journey.

• A fabulous allrounder who is happy to do a bit of everything.
• Hacks well alone, in company and in traffic.
• Trained with the police

A fabulous opportunity for someone to purchase a one-in-a-million horse. If you like them big, chunky and sensible, Dom deserves a place on your viewing list!

A registered Irish Sports Horse by Sandys Light, out of a mare by Andes, Dom is a substantial stamp with plenty of presence. There is a lot of horse here, and a lovely kind character to go with it.

Hacking is very much Dom’s speciality. He happily goes out alone or in company, is good in traffic and open spaces, and is neither spooky nor sharp. A lovely horse for someone who wants to enjoy getting out and about.

On the flat, Dom works in a nice outline and always tries his best. He would make a lovely partner for the odd Prelim or Novice dressage test, or simply for someone who enjoys their schooling alongside plenty of hacking.

He is also happy jumping around courses of 80/90cm, taking fillers and the usual decorations in his stride. A useful allrounder who can turn his hoof to a bit of everything without needing an ambitious competition calendar.

Dom spent time in police training, where he was exposed to all sorts of unusual situations and took them very well. However, although he is sound, he has some weakness behind, which raised concerns about his ability to withstand the demanding workload and prolonged work on tarmac required of a police horse. For that reason, he did not continue with the programme.

We are looking for a home where his workload suits him: enjoyable hacking, schooling and some lower-level jumping. His reason for leaving police training will be discussed openly with prospective buyers.

He is open to vet but struggles with hind limb flexions, sound in the school, on a circle and out hacking.

On the ground, Dom is every bit as lovely. Good to shoe, clip, catch and load, he has a kind nature and is a pleasure to have around. A big gentleman with plenty to offer someone looking for a sane, sensible horse to enjoy.

For sale on behalf of a client who needs something considerably smaller—Dom is rather a lot of horse!

Open to offers to help find him the right permanent home.

A striking chestnut gelding that really does stand out from the crowd! Fiji has presence, quality and plenty to get excited about. He’s the sort who takes a beautiful picture, but there’s much more to him than good looks!

By Foundation, out of Faside Rubin’s Black Magic, by Rubin Star N, his pedigree combines the Fidertanz and Rubinstein I lines. Lovely dressage breeding, and Fiji certainly looks to have read his own paperwork!

Fiji is broken and riding well, having been produced slowly and thoughtfully with his future in mind. He works beautifully in a natural uphill outline, with three very correct, balanced and expressive paces. There is a lovely rhythm to his work, and he carries himself with the presence that makes you stop and watch.

He has a willing attitude and a sensible, trainable brain. Not sharp or silly, he is taking his education in his stride and proving a lovely horse to work with. There’s plenty of quality here for someone with competition ambitions, alongside an attitude that makes the day-to-day training enjoyable.

Fiji is also hacking confidently, giving him a change of scenery and a rounded education alongside his schooling. He is kind and genuine on the ground, straightforward to handle and enjoys his routine.

As the first approved son of Extreme U.S. from this renowned Hanoverian family, Escador offers breeders an outstanding blend of modern dressage genetics, elasticity, and presence. Further highlighting his future potential, he is now under the saddle of Dutch Olympic dressage rider Dinja van Liere, making him an exciting prospect both for sport and breeding. 2026 was his first season at stud and we are very excited that we have one of his first children due by embryo transfer.

Dynamite is a standout young dressage stallion by Debutant PS out of a Feinrich mare, combining proven performance bloodlines with exceptional movement quality and modern type. He earned his stallion licence in Westphalia, where he was celebrated as one of the standout colts of the licensing, impressing judges with his rhythm, power, elasticity, and outstanding walk. The dam, Daria, is a beautifully bred mare by Don Juan de Hus out of Fürstin Totilas, a daughter of the legendary Totilas family.

He works beautifully in a natural uphill outline, with three very correct, balanced and expressive paces. By the double young horse World Champion Jovian, out of Faside Rubin’s Black Magic, by Rubin Star N, she combines modern dressage breeding with the influential Rubinstein I line. There is plenty to like on paper, and Julie’s athletic way of going makes her an exciting prospect in her own right.

Julie is now broken and riding well, showing a willing attitude towards her work. She is bright, intelligent and forward thinking, with plenty of natural ability for a rider to develop.
