Showgirl is a stunning well put together mare. She has the most beautiful head. Sired by Mastermind (Quickfeuer Van Koekshof/Heartbreaker) out of a mare by Lordannas. Bred by the renowned Castell Stud. Purchased as an unbroken 3yr old from the stud with full set of clean x-rays and vetting.

She was broken in by myself as a late 3yr old never rushed or over faced. She has been hacking out passing busses, lorries etc. She is very kind natured on the ground and to deal with in all ways, in and out the stable. Not at all marish. Barefoot with good strong feet, she is good to trim feet, clip, load, travel, catch. Turns out with mares or geldings, currently living out.

She really has an exceptional jump on her, knees to nose action every time. She will be a very exciting one for age classes next year and beyond. She has hunted previously, although her real strengths lie in her jumping and eventing, she absolutely loves cross country.

Crispy (registered Shallowford Heather) is a 15-year-old grey mare, born May 2011. This is a sad but inevitable sale of a loved family pony now that my daughter has outgrown her.

Crispy is a safe, fun, forward pony who adores her jumping. She is a genuine second pony, quick and clever against the clock, and a schoolmaster for a competent, confident child who enjoys a forward ride. She is intelligent, kind and consistent, with good stable manners and an affectionate nature.

She hacks well, is safe in traffic, and is sensible in the open, alone or in company. My 13-year-old daughter has hacked and schooled her throughout, and she has always been a reassuring ride on the roads.

Experience and achievements

We have done a bit of everything: Pony Club, camp, cross-country training, one-day events, show jumping, hacking and lessons. She was named Best Pony Club Pony at her 2025 camp, which tells you most of what you need to know about her in a busy environment. She is consistently clear at 70cm and fast against the clock, placing 5th at the Four Burrows PC ODE this spring. She has done dressage too, though I will be honest and say that is not where she shines.

2025: Qualified for individual and team championships at 50cm and 60cm.

2024: Qualified for BS Club Nationals (60cm and 70cm) and Sunshine Tour Arena Eventing (60/70cm). PC Mini Champs (50/60cm).

2023: Qualified for PC Mini Champs (40/50/60cm), BS Club Nationals (60cm), BD Club Semi-Final Champion. Champion Working Hunter Pony at Woolsery Show.

2022: Qualified for PC Mini Champs (40/50cm).

We have competed a little less over the past year through a family move, but she remains keen and ready to get on with it.

Management

Crispy thrives on a routine that mixes stabling with turnout. She is good to shoe and clip, has excellent feet, no history of laminitis, and has been 100% sound with us. She is not a rugged-off native.

Points to be aware of:

She can be slightly nappy at the very start of a lesson, hack or round, though she has never failed to go forward. She can be strong on the ground and more excitable when in season, and she can try to pull back when loading. On these occasions we use a Monty Roberts headcollar, which resolves it completely. Given her age, we want a home that will keep her competitive work at 60/70cm and below, where she is thoroughly established and has plenty left to give.

Crispy is a forward second pony, not a lead-rein or novice ride. She suits a light, capable rider with kind hands and a calm seat who will enjoy her pace rather than be unsettled by it.

Our arena at home is very small. For serious, vetted buyers we are happy to arrange a trial at a local Cornwall hire venue so you can see her jump a full course properly. A vetting is welcome. More details and videos on request.

Juno is a sec d x tb. He has trail hunted the last 2 seasons, going first or last and will lead. Snaffle mouth and ridden by a 18 yr old girl. Doesn't get strong or silly. He's the same on

fun rides.

He's competed at ODE 70cm, had arena eventing lessons, flat work and show jumping. He's competed SJ indoor and outdoor with heights normally at 70/80cm, but jumping 90cm at home. Last year he went to pony club camp and was a camp favourite.

He hacks alone in company and will lead. He's great with farm traffic and animals. Will have the odd spook at a dock leaf, but doesn't do anything naughty, just goes forwards. Hence he's not a novice's horse, even though he's had all ages and abilities ride him.

Juno is quirkier on the ground than ridden, as he does need company in the field and stable. He will live in or out and in a mixed herd. He's good to catch and lead.

He's good for the farrier to trim, never needed shoes, but I dont know why he couldn't be shod.

He loads and travels well ( I have a trailer).

Lissyegan Rose Aka Willow is a grey, 6 year old, 14hh registered Connemara pony who is looking for her next partner in crime!

Aswell as this Willow has dipped her hoof in dressage and has competed up to preliminary 2, snaffled mouthed and barefoot with no issue. Despite all this willow is still a young horse and therefore would possibly be better suited to a confident rider(she has previously been known to buck however this is very rare)

• 5th at Stithians Show 2025 in her first ever working hunter ring and first competition on grass.

Perhaps her greatest achievement has been taking a rider from the very beginning of their British Dressage journey through to Regional and National Championships, giving confidence every step of the way.

She is excellent to catch, load, travel, shoe and clip, is unfazed by trains and low-flying aircraft, and is a pleasure to have on the yard. Hacking has never been a major part of her career as she is busy with her lessons, but hacks every Christmas Eve. Although she has a lovely jump, her focus has always been dressage.

My philosophy has always been that no horse should spend its whole life in a riding school. After five years of giving absolutely everything, Cookie deserves a person to call her own. She has been incredibly difficult to replace, but her successor has now arrived, making this the right time for Cookie to begin her next chapter.

Cookie has a huge personality and will undoubtedly choose her next jockey just as much as they choose her. I know she'll make it very clear when she's found her person.

Beautiful 16.2hh grey 6yo all-rounder looking for her next loving home due to a change in owner’s circumstances. This is an extremely sad sale of a much-loved horse.

She is working well on the flat and has been out XC schooling, taking everything in her stride. She has also been to unaffiliated dressage, attended pole clinics and enjoys having a varied life. She is happy to hack alone, making her a versatile horse who can be enjoyed both at home and away from the yard. She has been allowed to mature into her size so is still lacking education and needs to see more of the world.

She is good for the farrier and to clip, and is a lovely horse to have around.

Sadly, I have come to the realisation that I simply don’t have the time, facilities or finances to give such a special youngster the time and education he deserves.
