Ace needs no introduction to the world of BS. Having been owned by the same family since he was 6 years old he has been slowly and correctly produced up the levels. He is still well within Foxhunter and JC points meaning he should still be able to contest Winter JC and Foxhunter Second Rounds 2026. He works beautifully on the flat with 3 straight paces and has recently competed BD Quest Prelim gaining scores of 68% . He is snaffle mouthed and hacks alone and in company.

Since moving in, we’ve carried out extensive renovations, including transforming the indoor arena, which now boasts a state-of-the-art Andrews Bowen jumping surface.

This is truly a magical place, located just 12 miles from Trafalgar Square with excellent access to motorways and transport networks. The Central and Elizabeth Underground lines are just a mile from our yard, with Fairlop station being the nearest. From there, you can enjoy a scenic walk directly across Fairlop Waters to reach us.

Set within over 50 acres of stunning parkland, Aldborough Hall Equestrian is a charming retreat. The stables are arranged in a traditional courtyard surrounding a tranquil garden. Our indoor arena measures an impressive 60 x 25 metres, while the outdoor arena, set to undergo refurbishments in spring 2025, is a generous 100 x 60 metres. The grounds also feature a variety of permanent cross-country fences, adding to the diverse training opportunities available.

One of the highlights of Aldborough Hall is the exceptional hacking. A private track leads directly from the yard onto Fairlop Waters, where you’ll find an all-weather track that extends for miles in a circular route, ideal for year-round use. Additionally, there are grass canter tracks throughout the park, providing variety for schooling and a welcome change from arena work—all without the worry of encountering traffic.

We supply and install Fixture Free Fencing, a durable, maintenance-free fencing solution, complete with three strands of MaxiCord Electric Fencing as standard. MaxiCord is a high quality ‘rope’ not your standard off the shelf ‘rope’.

The problems with standard timber fencing, requires maintenance, needs replacing every 7 - 9 years, rots and horses love to chew it. Unlike wooden posts, these posts won’t rot, so there’s no need for replacements. It’s not just about the cost of new wooden posts—consider the time and labor involved as well. By choosing a long-lasting solution, you save both money and effort in the long run, getting the job done right the first time!

Posts are made from strong durable polypropylene, the posts are made to sit 5ft 6? above ground with 2ft 6? underground. They can be made to whatever colour or height you require. Our standard colour is green to fit in with the surrounding landscape. The material construction is weather-resistant, far more durable than wood and will not rot in wet conditions.

A flexible system whereby the MaxiCord Electric Fencing (rope) passes through the post itself, making the finished set-up look tidy and without the risk of fittings coming off or causing an electric short circuit.

Due to the upper strand set at head height the horses are discouraged from trying to jump out as they see the fence boundary much easier. Unlike traditional electric tape, if broken the ‘rope” slides off greatly reducing the rousing of getting tangled or cut. Designed especially for containing horses safely and can be adapted for many animals.
