Elite Glamourdale yearling Romeo

Romeo

Romeo is out of Glamourdale, the 2018 FEI 7yr old world champion who recently made his Grand Prix debut with Lottie Fry, with huge success. Glamourdale is the son of the ' producer of champions' Lord Leatherdale, out of the preferent prok mare Thuja, one of the best broodmares in the Netherlands.

His pedigree is equally impressive, offering a compelling cocktail of Lord Leatherdale, the maker of champions, and Negro, who requires no introduction. His mother is particularly interesting. Apart from Glamourdale, she has produced two ‘Elite’ daughters and is a full-sister to Spencer Wilton's Grand Prix horse Numberto. Further back, we encounter great grandam Clementine, the mother of none other than Michael Whitaker's famous international show jumper Händel.

Lottie describes Glamourdale as' not normal' as has such huge strentgh and depth of horsepower. She recently scored a personal best on his, winning the grand Prix special in Lier CDI4*, Belgium with 78.68%

Granada ( UFO X Jazz ) is by the Metal son UFO, and behind comes the influence of the WBFSH leading sire Jazz. She is an Elite, IBOP, Prok mare, who scored 78 in her performance test, with an 8 for her trot, canter, and rideability. Romeo has an impressive dam line,

She is a half-sister of the KWPN reserve licensing champion Ierland. Her mother is a half-sister of the stallion Bristol, who competes internationally at PSG/Inter 1 with Kirsten Beckers, and the Grand Prix horse Raoul who competed for the USA under the saddle of Sarah Lindsten.

Granada's first foal is now 7yrs and is with Fiona Gair dressage, He is consistently scoring 70's at elementary and is soon to start competing at medium

Romeo scored exceptionally well at the BEF and was invited to the Elite foal auction. He scored 9 for his walk and 9.25 for conformation. He had the top-priced bid of the night at the auction, but just missed his reserve. He is exceptionally easy to do, loads well, is unphased by new surroundings, and will be an exceptional horse.

Eye-catching, with lots of presence and outstanding provenance.
