- Ready to start
Ken has it all, looks, breeding, movement and temperament.
He is a cheeky chap with that look at me character. He has 3 good effortless paces and there is 100% more in the tank. He has a good over track in walk and a super balanced canter.
We have recently began doing ground work and he has taken everything in his stride. He is lunging well in a bridle and roller and is ready for the next stages so would be a great starting point for his new owner to take on and put there on stamp on over the winter ready for next year. Who knows, we personally think he could do very well In the 4 year old classes next year!
Currently standing around 16/ 16.1 to mature around 16.2
Sire - Kjento ( Negro x Jazz)
Dam Sire - Krack C ( Flemmingh x Gribaldi)
His sire Kjento needs very little introduction. He is an up and coming stallion ridden by Charlotte Fry and owned by Van Olst Horses. Just some of Kjento’s results:
* 2018: Champion of the KWPN Stallion Performance Test with multiple scores of 9 and a 9.5 for canter
* 2019: Reserve Champion of the PAVO Cup Finals
* 2020: Reserve Champion 2019-2020 KWPN Stallion Competition Finals, Selected for WBFSH Young Horse Championships
* 2021: WBFSH 6-Year Old World Young Horse Champion
* 2022: WBFSH 7-Year Old World Young Horse Champion scoring 10 for trot, 8 for walk, 9.2 canter, 9.5 submission, 9.8 perspective
* 2023: Kjento named 2022 KWPN Horse of the Year and debuted at PSG.
He is unbroken but has been well handled and is up to date with vaccines, dental, farrier etc. Regularly has a rug on and off and stands well to be been bathed. He is ready to start and put your own stamp on. We see no reason why he would not be easy to do in all ways.
We have considered retaining him for competition but due to a change in circumstances it does mean we are offering him for sale. However if someone wanted to be an owner and keep him with us on competition livery I certainly would not say no to this one. He is going to be special.
Open to vetting, does have a set of clean X-rays taken last year as a 2.5 year old.
